My boyfriend literally just left there getting takeout of “fish & chips” and this is what they gave him. Horrible and disgusting! This food is clearly old and refried.I blame him for not checking his food before he left but I blame this establishment for providing this. Almost makes me wonder if it was the color of his skin.

Great food and atmosphere. We'll come back. Recommended.

Was in the area to see a local community theater show and decided to try out Bill's Olde Tavern for dinner beforehand. Pleasantly surprised with the quality and creativity of the specials menu. We tried two dishes from this menu... Bangers with Mash and this Irish boiled bacon dish which was more like a crispy ham. Both were amazing! My companion, who has a dairy allergy, was so happy to be able to eat a great meal out. As an appetizer, we had the crispy brussel sprouts... again with all the variety of flavors and components, so good! My other companions had the brisket salad and another brisket entree, which they seemed to enjoy. We had some after dinner coffees and Irish coffees, while enjoying some live music that started at 7. It was a great dinner experience that I look forward to having again when we come back in July to see another show.

Been coming here for many years. The food ALWAYS comes hot and tasty. Zach is fantastic too. The garlic wings, fish and chips, and the pizza are my favorites. Edit May 2023: gonna have to revise my review and remove a star, quite frankly I should remove 2. Firstly they took the seasoned potatoes off the menu some time ago, the ones that came with the garlic wings you see in my photos. A staple, gone. The excuse? We can’t get them. Ok get your own potatoes, dice them, season them and fry them. Supply chain issues are not an excuse anymore. Second, it now takes upwards of an hour to get food. They cannot handle even a half full dinning room. They are lucky the food comes piping hot and tasty. But is it worth a crazy wait? That’s for you to decide. To the owner: get potatoes and dice/season them yourself. You can’t have the amazing garlic wings without the seasoned fried potatoes. Edit again, April 2024: Another star is coming off. The owner continues to remove good items from the menu. Still no potatoes to go with the famous garlic wings, now the delicious spiral pasta and vodka sauce is gone too. In their place, frankly gross deep fried corn ball things. No thanks. Our last visit, pretty much everyone in our party had sour stomachs. Sadly, I don't think we will return for a while. Zach is still great though.

Only one waiter for everyone, so we did wait a little for service. Nice guy. Efficient. Food was good pub fare.

I am currently TDY at Fort Dix, NJ. I cam across this place as I was driving to a different location to eat and decided to pull in and give it a try. I was welcomed by Melissa who also ended up being my waitress. She was very friendly and made sure I had a drink at all times. I ordered the Wagui burger. It states it is medium to medium rare. It came out pretty rare but Melissa fixed it right away. She was a great waitress and I would come back on the food alone but Melissa made the experience even better. This place very much has a local feel to it but was a very friendly and enjoyable place. I would highly recommend the cider beer I have had that several places during my time here and this time it was a pineapple flavor and it was simply delicious.

10 Stars!!! I haven't been to Bill's in ages. The Brookwood Cafe was closed due to vacation, so I decided to just pop into Bills. What have I been missing!? ALOT! Zack was the bartender and also my server in the bar area. He was absolutely amazing!! So informative with the menu and always checking to make sure everything was okay. He made my Cosmo's spectacular. I haven't had a Cosmo like that in over a year. It was perfection. And the perfect color pink like it should be. The food! WOW! There was a special on the menu -shishido peppers, grilled salted corn on the cob and crispy wontons! See the pic! I swear I'm going to make this chef become famous! Everything he touches is amazing. This appetizer was 10 stars! It was one of the best appetizers I've had in years! Just like my cosmo. The salt, the heat, the crispiness of the wontons were just simply perfection. Spectacular appetizer! I asked my bartender, Zack what he thought about the meat loaf special, and he said it was amazing and the meatloaf was homemade. It was delicious! It came out like a grilled cheese with a medium slice of meat loaf. The meatloaf was not undercooked. It was cooked perfectly and so tasty with cheese. The French Fries are like boardwalk fries! Perfectly cooked and delicious! This place is a gem! I am going to be a regular. I was talking with other tables and they said the food is always soooooo good. The Chef, his Staff and Zach deserve accolades! The best service and food I have had in Hamilton without a doubt!

Google
Food is OK, nothing special about it. Presentation is plan service is ok considering your waiter is also the bartender he's trying real hard, but he's just spread to thin. They need to have enough help, especially during peak times we were there during lunch hour.

Melinda H.

Yelp
Great service. Food came fast and was delicious. Will definitely be back. Pretzel chicken sandwich was crisp outside juicy inside. Crab cakes were filled with crab.

Arlean R.

Yelp
The bartender is completly obnoxious. He seems to be completely off the rails and owners do nothing about his behavior. This perticular young man has had dozens of compliants regarding his behavior yet owners just keep letting him serve the public. He was completely disrepectful to many people right in front of us. The crowd seemed to all chime in when I looked shocked at the way he spoke to customers, They all agreed that he was terribl;e and that management does absolutly nothing to change this reputation they now have. From what I undersatand this has been going on for years and everyone just has to tolerate such disrespect. Shame on the owner for having customers see such a thing. I suggest no one go in there until he is no longer employed. Tha should take care of everything!

Judy M.

Yelp
There are quite a few young ladies not remembering anything after a few sips of their drinks! Please Beware! Disgusting!!

Lydia L.

Yelp
Seat yourself inside, ok. Sat down, someone gave us menus right away. 15 minutes go by... nothing. In the meantime, another couple comes in. The bartender goes to them, takes a drink order. We stop him to say we've been waiting 15 minutes, instead of helping us he walks away and says something to the waitress (who is obviously overwhelmed!!!!). We left! Unacceptable!

Yelp
Bill's Olde Tavern has been a mainstay at 5 points right off Quakerbridge Road. I've been there quite a few times over the years, albeit not recently. Despite it being slow on a weekday, it took a while to get any sort of acknowledgement from the one server that was working the dining area. You seat yourself, so you just kind of play the waiting game until a server comes over. I understand it's a bar and that's the primary focus, but felt the dining area service is more of an afterthought. It didn't help that there were pesky flies and mosquitoes roaming around the dining area. We ordered a classic (cheese) bar pie, a burger, and the penne vodka. The server was apologetic that it took a long time for the food to come out. The bar pie (2.5/5), was merely average and not up to par with better bar pies I've had. The crispy crust was the best part, with cheese and sauce being just ok (not utilizing quality ingredients). The penne vodka (2.5/5) was underwhelming, as you can get a better version of the dish with more flavorful sauce at most other restaurants in the area. The grilled chicken that came with it was very plain in taste. I thought the burger (1.5/5) would be decent, but it was served undercooked with plenty of red despite requesting it be cooked well done. I mentioned it to the waitress and rather than take it off the check, she gave a modest $5 discount, leaving me to pay over $10 for basically an inedible and undercooked meal, which is poor customer service in my book. Overall, my impression was that Bill's Olde Tavern prefers to serve up alcoholic drinks as a watering hole, and has an "average at best" approach to food and service. To make things worse, they levy a 4% credit card fee which is petty considering it's not the norm among eateries in the area. Sadly, this visit will be likely be my last, and I wouldn't recommend the place to others, as there's much better options in the area for food where your money would be better spent.

Liz B.

Yelp
My favorite thing to eat here is the delicious buffalo chicken salad. The chicken is lightly breaded, seasoned and slightly crispy. Their buffalo sauce is delicious. Seriously must be homemade. The bleu cheese dressing is so thick and creamy. This must also be homemade. They typically have good specials and yummy dessert like the freshly baked chocolate chip cookie skillet a la mode but honestly I love that salad so much I order it every time!!

Brittany G.

Yelp
This was my first time coming here. My boyfriend and I came here after we went to a art show near by. The place was cute and clean. The staff was super friendly and nice. The price for the amount of food. They could do better. I was looking for the rest of it. Especially the boneless wings for 2 people. The food was okay. It has good flavor but it definitely could be better. The beers and wines choices they were a ton! It's not bad for a quick bite if your in the area

Megan C.

Yelp
Had lunch here today (March 7,2023). The food was really good. Service was friendly and quick. We recommend this restaurant to all of our friends who live in the area. Beer was also good. We had the Bison Burger, Buffalo Chicken and the Philly Cheese Steak. All were really good. Looking forward to coming back.

Barbara M.

Yelp
Love Bills. However, rude bouncers and jukebox doesn't have ANY Latin music. They purposely removed the Latin/foreign songs from the jukebox, because other jukeboxes have those songs. I wonder why?

Dana T.

Yelp
Updated review; I have been in for dinner a handful times this year and the food has been lacking. The downstairs bar area in unkept and smells like urine. The bartender Zac we encountered was INCREDIBLY rude and the other bar patrons noisy and judgmental. More recently there was an incident involving my friends and family who gathered for a fathers memorial. The way they were treated also by the bartender named above, was unprofessional and for telling of what this business in look like 2021. It's sad that the heart of Hamilton in fallen so far from its original nostalgia.

Yelp
My wife and I got married at Sayen Gardens nearby and then had our after party with friends here at Bill's. We were extremely happy with the event overall, Al (the manager) went out of his way to accommodate all of our requests and make the dat special and smooth for us. In terms of the place itself, they have a nice outdoor patio which is where we had our party. It has TV's, tables and chairs, a stage, and even some horseshoes/cornhole type game setup which is very fun. The restaurant/bar has a rustic, old school vibe inside which I personally like. The food is standard bar fare but quite good, the wings especially. Plenty of beers on tap as well of course - you can see why this place has been around forever and seems to have a loyal following among the locals. I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the area and looking for a cool spot to have a few drinks, watch a football game or whatever.

Bt J.

Yelp
Absolutely yummy food and IPA's. Was my first time, but won't be my last! Great customer service too! Had the brisket and it was the best I've had. Enjoyed one of their special IPA's and a Mango Cart! Sooo goood! Nice ambiance too! Cheers!

Yelp
Went on a Friday night to watch some live music and have some food and drinks. When we got there the outside was packed so we sat at a high top by the bar to eat before going outside. Our waiter said he is usually the bartender. We each ordered a cranberry cosmo, and as soon as he brought it to us, he said he knew the bartender made it wrong but asked if we still wanted it. It was way too dark to be a cosmo. We sent it back and they remade another one, but it still didn't taste like a cosmo. The manager came over and gave a shot of titos to add to it. It made it stronger, but was still not a cosmo. We shared an order of the pretzels and a bar pie. The pretzels I love to hate or hate to love...lol. They are so weird, not your normal bar pretzels. They seem to be deep fried but they are still really good. The bar pie definitely was on point. Ended up going outside after dinner to watch the band. Bill's is definitely a great place to watch some music outside and for people watching.

Kd B.

Yelp
We went after 9 p.m. for dinner and to hang out on a Friday night. When we got the menu, we were told that the kitchen closed at 9 (on a Friday, really?) , and most of their dinner menu was unavailable, so they could only serve burgers, fried foods, and tavern pies. If it stated that anywhere on the website, I missed it, and we were surprised. Also, they closed and locked the front door at like 9:15, so you had to go through the bar. It was odd. The service and boneless Buffalo wings were good. My brother had the Pretzel Jack Chicken, and it looked great. I had the fish and chips. It was not good. The batter was not cooked right, although the fish itself was fine. Fries were ok. Overall, it was a pretty disappointing experience for a place that used to be one of my dad's favorite spots.

Alexa W.

Yelp
I have never had a bad experience here. The food is delicious and the service is superb. Everyone is always so friendly!

KH S.

Yelp
Delicious food, great costumer service. Not the nicest place, but a nice local spot !

Christina L.

Yelp
Croix, the bartender was great!!! I had no idea what I wanted to drink and there was no cocktail menu. He said no problem what kinda of alcohol do you like then proceeeded to create me a drink.

D M.

Yelp
So I can't get into the place across the street (which is a 1000x better) so I stop in here. First time ever in this place. Sort of cut up inside and not as big as you think. They might upstairs bar for all I know. Big outdoor bar with music. I really wanted a pizza so I order a bar pie. First it comes in a big extremely hot skillet and I have to ask for utensils so I could separate the pieces because too hot to touch crust. All I can tell you is that it was the worst pizza I ever ate. Might have been frozen. The pours were good (straight liquor) but the bartender put his rag up on the liquor bottles. Maybe no hook for it. 2 stars for the pour.

William T.

Yelp
Grabbed takeout from here today and it was OK. First, it was pretty hard to figure out where to go to grab my food (although, admittedly, the guy who took my order did give me directions - they were just a little too complex since I'd never seen the restaurant before :) I should have asked him for a repeat!). Anyway, after a significant amount of wandering, I managed to find someone who could help me get my order, and it was all packed and ready to go. The food was OK but nothing remarkable - I got the bison burger and it was fine. The inside of the restaurant / bar actually looked pretty comfy and chill, so I'll probably hit it up at some point when the pandemic has died down a little more. Just based on the food though, I'll give the place 3 stars.

Cal R.

Yelp
Great old fashion, old-time pub. Good food good service varied menu. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and the quality of the food.

Michael N.

Yelp
Bill's is what my dear departed uncles would refer to affectionately as an old watering hole. Everywhere you look there's a patina of well-earned wear and not so much tear. The beer is cold, the burgers are amazing and the service is reminiscent of a time when they had every expectation that they might be seeing you again. Against my usual preference, next time I might go deeper into the menu since the burger which they could have easily mailed in, hit all the right spots. Some places just give off an aura and at Bill's I can definitely see the local councilman holding court in the corner over a few pitchers and twisting arms until envelopes mysteriously appear. Nothing too crazy, just a small "honorarium" to make sure the ghosts of Tammany and Trenton are fed and the business of New Jersey keeps moving. In any case, Bill's is on my shortlist of places to visit again when we're allowed to be seen in public with a beer. It can't come too soon.

Caitlyn H.

Yelp
Raspberry scorpion wings were good as always, but the asparagus flat bread special was really good too! Our waiter was so nice and courteous! We'll have to go back again soon for drafts & apps :)

Carla N.

Yelp
We had such a great dinner experience tonight! From the ease of making reservations... till the time we left. Our server, Melissa, was such a sweetheart, very attentive, and just amazing! The food was absolutely delicious also... as picky as we were, she listened and got our 6 crazy orders accurate! Melissa also handled a large future catering order for my office, and the owner Al stepped in and helped too... another crazy request with lots of changes. I can't brag enough about the service overall, and can't wait to go back!

Kay C.

Yelp
Stopped by for Father's Day and loved the outdoor quoits and the beautiful new fence and stage. Whoever did the fence is worth their weight in gold! Jackie the bartender is the best! Can't wait to stop by when there's live music.

Christopher D.

Yelp
Excellent true old pub, no pretending here. Nicely updated while retaining the charm of an old pub. Reminds me of the pubs in UK. Decent selection of draft beers. French onion soup was ok, not too salty.. but no swiss! I had the Wurst platter. aside from the horribly salty homemade sauerkraut, amazing. the Reuben was amazing as well. Portion size was good. service was very good as well. We came on a quiet rainy day, so, I would guess a reservation would be ideal, due to available seats.

Saqui R.

Yelp
First timer. Had the Tavern Burger which was not seasoned at all. Would not recommend it. The homemade French fries were good and so were the Steak Bites. My wife wasn't crazy about the Cheesesteak. She said it lacked seasoning also. I might give it another try.

Steve A.

Yelp
I wish we could have gone to Jojo's. Ringing endorsement, eh? This place is straight out of the 70s, one of those old school joints that hasn't attempted to pick up the millennial audience. The interior is dark and convoluted, surprisingly formal for a bar. Prices are inflated compared to what you get... maybe. A couple of us got huge portions and others got tiny ones. Identity crisis? To be fair, the food really isn't that bad, service is decent, but nothing is really on point. Bill's feels like it's sleepwalking on the strength of its older, loyal clientele, and if that's the case, they've got about 8 years left before they'll be gone and replaced by something better adapted to today's more modern, fresher, cheerier mode. I'm no millennial, but if I'm in Hamilton, when I hear bar, I'm thinking Jojo's, or I'm probably staying in.

Angela D.

Yelp
Nice bar. Inside open until 10pm, outside open to midnight on a Thursday. Good drinks and outside atmosphere. Staff was friendly and they have more than enough heaters outside to keep you warm in the winter months. Visited during #COVID and everything was clean and well kept.

Brandon C.

Yelp
This place is exactly what you expect on first glance.. and there's nothing wrong with that! Bills tavern is a local bar for local people to come sit and enjoy some ok food with decent drinks. My expectations weren't high and when I left they hadn't changed. I had the salmon burger which anyone could've guessed, not the dish of choice at a local bar. It was ok kinda as expected I would've been happy if they had some housemade sauce or avocado or unique vegetable added on. It really was just a standard slightly overcooked seasonless salmon sandwich that lacked flavor and I didn't necessarily hate it. I also had ordered the wasabi deviled eggs which were pretty good and a flavor I didn't have before the airiness of the deviled eggs however with that sharp wasabi spice made it to be a really nice combination. But they only gave me four and I was expecting a little more for what paid for. My friend also got the ribs which he said was better than normal and cooked to be very tender and fall off the bone so maybe try that if you go. All in all the experience was as expected , not bad not necessarily good, just a local bar. Besides the service being very slow there weren't any other complaints. However one cool thing was they gave us pretzels for a starter which were so fresh and warm tasted fresh out of the oven!

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
I came out here last night with my friend and we were just so excited that they were still open late and that the kitchen was still serving food. Prior to arriving at Bill's old tavern we went to a different establishment where we were told that they were open till 2 AM but when we sat down to order a drink and were going to look at the menu on our phone the server came over to us to tell us that the kitchen had already closed. We were bummed but then we called Bill's and they said no, come on down you can order from the bar menu. We were starving because we hadn't eaten all day and to find Bill's still available was wonderful. We ordered the pretzels, pepperoni pizza, the pork quesadilla, and A basket of fries. There was so much food in front of us but it was really good. It's definitely hit the spot and the price was great as well. Definitely will be back!

Penny L.

Yelp
I've been here so many times and written happy reviews, but I was disappointed tonight. The food took a REALLY long time and 2/3 of the items were soup. We could tell the burger was dried out - maybe it had been sitting?? a different waiter brought us our food - we were so thankful he noticed us because we were starving!!

J C.

Yelp
Stopped in Saturday for dinner. The waitress was confused we had to leave as did other customers

Brittney R.

Yelp
Every leave a restaurant feeling completely unsatisfied and wishing you hadn't wasted the money? That pretty much summed up my experience. Literally everything on the table was burned. Pretzels with cheese sauce, burned. Nachos, burned. Tots, burned. Kids hot dog, burned. Everything burned. Burned! Burned! God, I wish I hadn't wasted my hard earned money on this garbage food and the most horrible waitress I've ever had.

Sarah H.

Yelp
As soon as we walked in the door I knew it was going to be a good meal! The environment was clean, rustic and homey. The music was fantastic and if you disagree you can change it on the jukebox. I had the crab cake sandwich which was delicious and not too fishy, I can't stand when I feel like I'm eating shredded crab. The sweet potato fries were delicious I just wish he gave me more! My mom got the cheesesteak and loved it, it was huge! Dad got the Shepard's pie and despite his high standards practically licked the bowl clean. My brother had the buffalo chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it. He got potato French fries and they were good! Looked like real potatoes as opposed to the frozen packaged kind.

Eric T.

Yelp
Pretty good draft beer & mixed drinks, lively atmosphere, good prices. Very laid back employees that provided really good service. I was certainly impressed with Bill's, of which this tavern that has been around since the beginning of time (so it seems). Definitely lived up to its reputation of being among the places to be at within both the Princeton and Hamilton Square region. If I had one complaint, it was finding where the actual entrance of the venue would be. I had wanted to go to the upstairs bar (which is only a couple of steps upward from the main bar), yet wound up in the downstairs bar instead. There apparently is another entrance that I obviously didn't see, but whatever. Parking was ample, and the food items seemed to be a hit with the patrons. Pity that I only had an appetite for alcohol on this visit, yet I'll certainly return to try the food.

Robert Edward F.

Yelp
The Sheppards pie is slamming if your eating /// I had beer mussels as a starter and sherppqrd pie as the Entree ... nice hangout spot too late night.

Mike K.

Yelp
An old feel with a solid menu. The staff is great and the food is always excellent! I would 100% recommend this restaurant. Bonus they have live music on the weekends.

James T.

Yelp
We have been to Bill's a bunch of times over the years and had not been disappointed until today. We were probably the first customers of the day and were immediately read an extensive list of what they didn't have. Not a good start. Since we were the only table, you can't blame a slammed kitchen for the fact that all four appetizers that we ordered were lukewarm at best. Tasted okay for the most part, but mussels were pretty sandy and the steak bites were overdone. Just not what we expect at Bill's. Service was great and the grilled cheese for the kid was decent, but with the variety of places in the immediate area, you have to be on point. Hope that this isn't a trend. We will certainly come back at some point, but with a different outlook.

Gerald S.

Yelp
First time back in Bill's Olde Tavern in more than a decade, but the historic place still feels like the bowels of a 18th Century sailing ship - low ceilings, dark wood exposed beams, a slight aroma of aging beer in those corners the wet mop can't reach, and a whole lot of atmosphere to make you forget the date. I sat at the downstairs bar. The HDTVs were into March Madness. I ordered a burger, fries and a hard Irish Cider from a friendly and accommodating lass. It was a very good lunch, with the burger the medium requested, an ample load of potatoes, and a large cool glass of apple cider. At $8, the food was a good deal. The $5 for the cider put me over my lunch budget for the week, but what the hey?, it was a tasty washdown. The burger was good, but a bit crumbly. Not sure what causes that (freezing or too much compression), but it did not impact the taste once the bar spices and sides where put on top. I left the roll top alone to save a few cals, but otherwise found the experience enjoyable. I will be back to sample more of the lunch menu, and may even find time to stop in après travail to check out the Happy Hour and see if the old sailors show up.

Stacy F.

Yelp
Visited for the 1st time in a longggg time and unfortunately the manager ( I believe it was) was super rude. Screaming and yelling profanities. Always was a dump and apparently still is.

Shaun E.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I had a great evening and a very good dinner. We work in the area and were staying overnight for a work function. Instead of visiting a chain I wanted old school. Bills was the perfect choice. I haven't been there in 20 yrs. it's a locals choice and has the charm of a 100 year old tavern. We sat at the bar because we didnt have a lot of time. The bartender was attentive and sweet. We ordered the nachos and the Bills Chicken. It was amazing !!! Great choice of micro beers too. Can't wait to go back !!

Glenn S.

Yelp
Great food and excellent prices. We haven't been here in years and decided to give it a try as we saw they did a lot of renovations and we are so glad we did. The menu was not your typical menu for a pub as it had a mix of traditional pub food as well as upscale and trendy food choices. We sat at the bar and ordered the mixed greens Caesar salad with house made dressing and it was excellent. Lettuce was fresh cut not from a bag and dressing was a real Caesar. I also ordered French onion soup which was equally delicious. Next up was the beer mussels which was a generous portion of huge mussels in an awesome beer broth. However, the best thing I ordered was the salmon "burger". This wasn't a burger but a really nice piece of fresh salmon, seasoned and flame grilled to perfection. Now to the drinks.... I ordered 2 vodka martinis up with olives. The bartender told me Stoli was on special so that's what I got. When the bill came I couldn't believe the price. $4 each!! Yes only $4 for a Stoli martini which could easily range from $10-15. So overall Bill's just can't be beat and we can't wait to return again next week with the whole family for dinner....hey we may even become regulars.

E M.

Yelp
I've been to Bill's Olde Tavern a number of times and the food/ambiance was great. This time, however, it was not the case. We went there specifically for the Shepherds Pie and found out it is no longer on the menu. Our alternative menu item also was not available. Ordered the brisket, it looked and tasted like it came out of the freezer and into the microwave. Sent it back (and I never send things back) and just ordered a burger with onion rings which was good. Our server was very nice and accommodating. The restaurant was empty for a Thursday night but the bar was packed. Maybe they should expand the bar into the restaurant area to increase sales.

Scott S.

Yelp
Good quality food...worth the few extra dollars over other places. Philly Cheese Steak was large and wasn't made with the cheap meat...probably was ribeye. Corned Beef was fresh 1/4 inch slabs in good quantity vs deli shaved. Burger was 10 oz and very good also. French fries were left light and crisp...perfect. They have 8 taps with good microbrews. i'll be back.

Yelp
This bar is definitely the best you will find in Hamilton. They have great live music and an even better patio area for the warmer months. The bouncers are super nice but also very on top of things. If you're getting food, the boneless wings were really good! The bar staff have been great almost every time I've been, especially Melissa, she's always smiling and very attentive. The only time I had any issue was with the younger male bartender who probably has the worst attitude I've ever seen as a bartender and is the only reason I am not giving 5 stars. He only paid attention to his friends and ignored everyone else. When he finally did come over he was extremely rude and arrogant. Other people that were there said he is always like that and gets away with it bc he is family to the owner and it's best to sit downstairs bc he usually works the upper bar area. It's unfortunate bc every other experience was excellent. I still recommend this place.. just don't sit upstairs.

Yelp
I came home to go out to eat and get a drink with my friends yesterday. My one friend went outside to smoke a cigarette and our table was right next to the door. He forgot to wear his mask and then came back in and sat at our table. With no warning this big dude named matt who I think is the bouncer there or something comes up to our table and tells us to cash out and leave. He was incredibly rude and this is horrible customer service. never coming back unless this dude matt is fired. I know multiple people who have Similar stories about this guy and this Is terrible for business. He also threatened us and made comments suggested he was going to get physical. No one at our table was drunk, overall terrible experience and Matt deserves to be fired.

Yelp
We stopped in for a late lunch a few weeks ago. The restaurant itself is warm and cozy. There are two adjoining rooms, each with a fireplace, and then a bar area off to the side. The decor reminds me of what you might find in colonial Williamsburg. Historic, but not old or run down. I had burger and my husband had a chicken sandwich. Everything was really good, and the service was very quick, efficient, and friendly. I especially enjoyed the burger and I'll probably order it again the next time I go.

Yelp
I don't like this place. The atmosphere is not too inviting and the staff is not too friendly either. The patrons are very rude as well from what I've encountered. Seemed to be a place that caters to its frequent customers and overall you tend to feel like a nuisance. The food is decent but the atmosphere cancels all of that out.

Yelp
Rude, arrogant and nasty to their patrons... we were there yesterday to meet up for a viewing, we spent money, ate and drank... we were leaving at 4pm to head to our destination, mind you they were notified the night before that we would be meeting there, and they were just fine with that...and some little twerp (manager I suppose) came out screaming and yelling at us to get the fuck off his property or he was calling the police... just for us being in his parking lot.. you couldn't pay me to step foot in that shit hole ever again... there is a way to talk to people who are spending their money at your establishment.... screaming profanities and spewing Ignorance isn't the way to go about it. Bills is unprofessional!
