Billy's Pizza & Pasta

Billys your regular pizza is lousy. The tasteless sauce, lack of cheese and unrequested ultra thin crust is a disaster. My taste buds have suffered with every bit and the garbage was the most fitting place to retire this pie to. I don't know what went wrong, it use to be tasty. Try another skilled pizza maker, this one is not cutting it. Loyal customer.

I purchased three pies that cost over $70.00. They were delivered at 6:05 pm and the members of my group and I started eating them at 6:20 pm. Though (because I called and voiced my concerns) someone at Billy's Pizza insisted the piea were freshly made...I didn't believe a word said. The pies were cold on a 70 degree day. The dough was tough and tasted stale...not crispy the way a freshly (oven baked) crust should taste. Disappointed!!! I was disappointed!!!

I got 2 cheese pizza pies. First time ordering here. I think the pictures make it look better, but was surprised to find that it tasted like dollar pizza. It was cooked well, but I think it was the quality of the ingredients. I think the ratings are a little high which led to over excitement.

Best pizza in the neighborhood and we’ve tried them all. We get Billy’s delivered at least once a week. Fast, hot, and so delicious.

My daughter ordered a pie online and I noticed that the box felt light. It was pale with about a quarter cup of sauce for 16” pie and that’s being generous. It also had very little cheese. Chuck offered me 20% off for the inconvenience, but this isn’t the first time. I am disappointed.

So what I’ll say about Billy’s is it’s about a 50/50 chance that you’ll get a great pie or something will be a disaster. I think simplicity is key when it comes to ordering a pie a Billy’s. Less things on you pizza means there’s less possibility that something will be a disaster. If you use the Slice app to order pizza like I do, I would highly recommend ordering the pizza with the “thin crust” instead of the regular crust. I’ve found out that the regular crust is pretty thick and the “thin” crust is what most of us would consider a NY slice. Also today was my first time ordering a pizza with mushrooms from Billy’s and Im fairly certain it’s canned mushrooms instead of fresh which I really dislike. Like I said, less things = less problems. I added a pic of how todays pizza arrived and I live across the street. How can a pizza get so messed up delivering it 250 feet away? Everything is slid over to one side and squished. I truly want to love Billy’s because it’s my local pizza joint, but I’ve had just as many bad experiences as good experiences and I don’t think it should be like that. So I give them 3 stars for that.

This is by far one of the best pizza slices I've had in a long time. So good I didnt make it home. They are so nice I admired the slice one employees was eating on his lunch break which wasn't in the window or menu. He said there's more and gave me a slice. I recommend Billy's Pizza and Pasta to satisfy your hunger. The food is delicious, clean, sanitary, welcoming, and reasonable prices. I'll be back sooner than later. Highly recommended 👌

I just found out about this place and tried it today. It's excellent. Good pizza is difficult to find in this area, and I'm grateful to be able to get an extra thin crust pie delivered to my apartment. The order was hot and fresh, worth the quoted wait time. Good wings too. Thanks for existing! I'm going to be ordering a lot.

I'm always kinda skeptical when I try pizzas that had unusual combinations, but this place does it pretty well. Some pizzas are just okay but others taste really good like the buffalo chicken and bbq chicken ones. The parlor itself is spacious and bright and there are a lot of pizza options to choose from. From a person who's not really into pizza like that, I'd recommend trying this place out.

To be honest I didn't have a slice BUT the customer service was perfect when I asked to use their restroom! The venue was clean, there's a large sink and even a TV in the bathroom! You won't miss the sports event for a minute! As I waited I observed the staffs friendliness, wanting to ensure patrons are serviced with professionalism. Customer service to me is what sets other venues apart! I'll be sure to return for a slice

The female cashier tried to slightly over charge me for a single, one topping pizza price. Although, she is not a new employee by any means . When I brought it to her attention she told me I was wrong. It was not until another employee walked over and pointed out the price error. Instead of showing good customer service and apologizing or even simply pointing out her mistake. She dryly muttered under her breath the correct price. Customer service is a big part of the overall food and dining experience. Her being an employee that has worked there for a good amount of time should have most definitely be aware of that.

I will be back but this is not the first time this has happened!?!? I do enjoy the food I order and this is not on the cashiers because he repeated my order back to me. But the kitchen must have mis read or something because I order a MEATBALL Parmigian hero, add pepperoni and extra cheese. The guy at the register repeated that and said it when he called it out for pick. I get all the way home and it's the driest thinest BREADED chicken parm!?!?!? No I can not walk back and calling you means nothing tried that. I really do not want to deconstruct my order at the counter every time I come in.....me, my stomach, my heart & soul are devastated and highly disappointed!!! GEEESHHH $16 WASTED....

Billy's prepares a pizza "To Order" with great sauce and crust. Very promptly delivered. Like their wings, salads and hot parmigiana subs.

We've only ordered here to go, but the two times we got the grandma pizza, it was phenomenal. The sauce was nice and sweet (what I like) while the cheese wasn't overpowering. The basil and garlic were super fresh, and you can hear the crisp as you bite in. This is our new go-to spot for quick and easy pizza in the area. We also tried the house special, but found that it was way too many toppings for their extremely thin crust, and the sauce became muted as a result.

As a Californian, I don't really like NYC pizza. It's flat with minimal toppings. But Billy's has one of the best maguerita pizzas I've had in years! It's cheese first on the crust, THEN dollops of red sauce throughout. Thank you minimizing food waste and selling excess from the day on the TooGoodToGo app.

Billy's, are you serious? We paid $50 to be delivered pizzas that look like they were flown here upside down.

This is the second time we have ordered. First time was better, I had eggplant rollatini, my boyfriend chicken parm. Today was delivered late, food cold, and what really compelled me to write this review was the "chicken Alfredo" which had almost no sauce on it. Once I re-heated the cheese slice it was pretty good. I would 100% try someplace else next time

As you can see in the photo, A not-fresh regular slice has been TRANSPLANTED into my pie...not even in Third World country pizza place I have experienced this. I ordered via SLICE and requested oregano on the side and that was ignored! Pizza was not even lukewarm...but because it looks reheated more than one time I did not bother re-heating Giving two stars because the dough was not as stiff as other places on the same price range. The only redeeming factor! Never again! p.s. not a typical new york pizza type. it is just a typical football pizza you can get in any part of the country

Ordered a pick up order for 2 pizzas.pizzas were very good. Felt like it needed a bit more time in the oven though. The dough felt a bit too chewy but it was still very delicious.

Well let me first say the food is amazing. What's not amazing is the price not matching what is on the menu. I ordered a sandwich that was $7 more than the menu price. When I brought it up to management I was told prices change all the time and it didn't make sense to update the menus. Well I'd you can't update your menu prices you shouldn't be trying to update my pockets. What's the point of giving customers a menu that's incorrect. I'm very disappointed by this and would hope they would do better

Best slice of Pizza in NYC, I have coming to BILLY'S for over ten years. Always order the same thing to the point when I walk in everyone who work there already know what I want; Buffalo slice cut in half, with extra hot sauce and blue cheese. And although throughout the years we have not gotten along, and my previous review have reflected as such. Except for the best worker they have "Isa" he is truly provide the best customer service I ever seen. He is the standard of when business model talks about customer first. Special shout out to him. I want to take the time today to say things have changed over the pass six months. And I give credit where credit is due. The owner himself Chuck the young brother of the two, had taken it personal to make sure every time I'm there that I get a highest level customer service and for that I have to say thanks. Because he knows I been a loyal customer forever, through the bad time and now good time. I'm a very picky eater and BILLY'S pizzeria is the only spot I eat at when I don't cook my own food. Now I can actually sit and enjoy eating there and it's such a pleasant feeling. Shout out to the rest of staff as well, if I could give higher rating I would give them ten star. Keep up the good work.

Best pizza in BROOKLYN! Especially the grandma pizza! The older delivery guy is so nice.

Decided to stop here on a whim. This is my second time here because hubby craved an eggplant parm hero with mushroom and extra Parmesan cheese. I really enjoyed the slices here and they have great variety ranging from philly cheesesteak pizza to chicken ceaser. It is right next to Medgar Evers College campus so it can be very busy at times. Since today is Sunday, it is pretty quiet but business is good. I was amazed by the bathroom decor. So upscale and roomy. I recommend Billy's for pizza and other Italian dishes if in the area staying or to go.

Billy's used to be a favorite local pizza place & then they drastically changed. Billy's want to sell cheap pizza at a high cost. Yes everyone in NY wants to make money but what you sell is horrible pizza. - I've never been to a pizza restaurant where they put the pizza in the fridge & then heat up upon ordering. - Prices increased - They have a delivery & card minimum - Staff is friendly & they are fast but in terms of good pizza. Billy's does not serve that - My favorite used to be the Buffalo pizza but yea that's not the case anymore Don't get me wrong if I'm hungry I'll probably stop here but I'd rather travel t the city & get pizza then eat here

My Fav Place To Order from. I Don't Live That Close but They Deliver To Me. The Pasta. Pizza. And Especially the Riceballs Are Awesome. My Go To for Guaranteed Good Italian Food & Pizza

Just ordered from Billy's and was so disappointed. I ordered a pepperoni pizza well done through slice and waited an hour for an OLD PIZZA. Not even hot and that's not because of the weather it's 58 degrees outside. Cheese stiff and pizza looks reheated. It's time for these resteraunts to stop selling us any old thing. It's just not fair. They think we are so oblivious to reheated food. I called and the female who answered just put me on hold then sent me to someone else. He didn't even try to rectify the situation he just wanted to go back and forth. So here it goes I know a lot of people in the neighborhood and I will be letting them know if they want a fresh pizza don't order from Billy's "WHY YOU ASK ????? OLD PIZZA!!!!!!!!!

Yummy . It's not the best, but it's really good for a pizza shop. This was my first order here. The item wasn't on the menu, but they do sever it.

We got two deliveries of signature pizzas. Both very sizable and freshly made. The cheese was amazing. Perfect slice sizes that weren't too heavy. Will definitely be ordering more deliveries during the lockdown

The food is flavorful, hot, and plentiful. However, this applies to their pasta dishes. I don't know how a pasta pizza place can have bad pizza and the worst sandwiches. So go for the pasta!

Sunday didn't feel like cooking decided to order out! Ordered the lasagna not a good choice, also to salty! I also order a chicken roll will not be ordering from Billy's again $18.00 plus a tip can't eat any of it!

Avoid this place at all costs. Their "recommended" dish is NOT RECOMMENDED. My office ordered a few dishes and mine was the calamari salad. Order turned up without the calamari- just some lettuce and tomatoes and onions. Had to call them back and ask if the salad usually came with calamari. It did but they "forgot" to send it. Had to wait an additional 35 minutes for that to arrive (the original order had already taken 40+ minutes). It smelt and looked disgusting and raw. No seasoning- not even salt and was extremely rubbery. When I called to complain- the guy on the phone said that he's not a fan of it either- and that's how it has always been for 12 years. When asked how's it prepared- he said it's boiled and thank you. He was very dismissive and didn't even offer to cook the darn thing. Conversation over. My co-worker ordered the chicken marsala- that tasted like egg wash and oil (her words). Let's just say that both dishes ended up in the trash.

Pizza is okay not all that. But if you live in this area it's easy to get and they make things quickly you do not wait a long tome

I have been ordering pizza from here for 5 years. I ordered pizza at 4:45 for a 6pm delivery. They have a new person who forgot to put in the order I called at 6:37 and they finally put in my kid's pIzzy order, which didn't arrive until 7:30. When I called as a loyAl customer all they offered was an 80 cent discount. Worst costumer service ever. Order from Ginos. You just lost a loyal person because you are too cheap Billy's.

I am addicted to their pizza. I used to always comes here after school. Before, I never wanted to try different types of pizzas. I always kept to my plain slice but Billy's really changed me. The different types of pizzas in their display case just look so good, it is hard to resist. Everytime I go, I try to try different toppings. Not only are their pizzas good but so are their desserts, rolls and garlic knots.

Ordered through the MyPizza app on a Tuesday night and delivery was speedy--less than 40 minutes and it was at my door. Grew up eating NYC pizza and though this is no DiFara's, still pretty good! Got the vodka pizza with extra garlic + sausage and it was perfect. Hit the spot w/ a glass of wine after a long day. It was only ~$22 and it came with a free 1 liter of Coke! That was a nice surprise though I'm not soda drinker. Will be my go-to pizza delivery place in Crown Heights.

Food was just ok. Ordered via the Slice app and food came on time and piping hot. Buffalo wings were over fried therefore kind of hard. And the sauce tasted good but was very watery so wings got pretty soggy. Requested ranch but I'm pretty sure I got blue cheese which shockingly tasted like absolutely nothing. Literally flavorless. Pizza was fine half pepp/half plain. Kind of lacked flavor overall and virtually no sauce. May order again just because of how quickly and hot the food arrived.

I guess I should have read the reviews on yelp as I always do but kids were hungry and this was the closest. First and foremost, read the instructions that your customers ask of you when the order is placed. Second don't do something to try to cover up your mistake and ignorance. Third, do the right thing and make the customer whole. To make a very long story, I ordered a round pizza and asked for it to be cut into square slices something that is quite often done in the pizza industry. When I opened up the box it was obvious that it had been cut into slices and then the directions were read with the customers request and then cut up into every other geometric shape... There were triangles, trapezoids, parallelograms, rhombus's, kids... It was basically hacked to pieces... Literally. Fourth... Don't lie to the customer and state that you don't know how to cut a pizza into squares. IF YOU REALLY DON'T KNOW HOW, THEN YOUR IN THE WRONG BUSINESS... PERIOD. Fifth... If you can't, then you call the customer and let them know that. That is one of the reasons why we give you our number on these ordering apps. Finally... You just lost any future business because of number 4 above.

Billys Pizza, another wonderful experience as always. From the custom pan pizzas to the amazing pasta choices. Most places are know for a few good dishes but at Billys its the opposite. One of the hardest things is knowing what to order since practically everything they serve tastes delicious. When experiencing the newly renovated store Billy, his brother along with his entire staff really make you feel like part of there family. Ps: Have to try their NEW fresh boneless buffalo wings seasoned and made from scratch.

The bruschetta wrap is sooooo good the flavor is amazing. And it's only 5.95 Get it! This neighborhood doesn't have the best options but this is one of my go to places since I work in the hood

My friends want pizza Billy's Pizza with pepperoni when we got the pie it was warm and the store is right across the street from us when they deliver it which I told them they're not Italian and it cut back on a lot of ingredients on a pizza because it doesn't taste the same and The Crest-is sometimes not cook fully getting smaller but the price got higher so eating a Slice like eating a piece of cardboard with a little cheese n sauce and whatever they throw on It's waste of time if you want to do a place pizza artichoke pizza is the number one in Brooklyn to me n family Pizza at Parkside fell behind pizza parlorAnyway I will not be eating Billy's no time soon

This place is a go-to for yummy Italian comfort food delivery, one platter (main, pasta/veg, bread) is easily 2 meals. Plus it's really cool that even though I've never set foot in there, when I call for delivery I feel like I'm a regular--they know my order and my building's weird buzzer situation. I think all New Yorkers can appreciate what a beautiful thing it is to hang up the phone after ordering delivery with complete confidence about both food and logistics, and have that take under 5 minutes!

Been a while since I wrote a review , so let's get started . The cheese pizza & garlic knots seems like the only thing that taste yummy, large cheese go for about $13 ,wanted to try something different so I ordered some mozzarella sticks and let's say the I didn't expect the turnout . the marinara taste yucky plus the mozzarella sticks were so bland and soggy ! Customer service let's say the guys that work there were more interested in there their looks than the quality of pizza , lots of seating word advice call ahead to order kills the wait !

Ordered 2 large cheese pizzas and 2 salads. One of the pizzas was lukewarm and the other was barely at room temperature. The cold pizza was almost charred - seemed like it had been cooked hours ago and reheated. I've had better for the freezer section at the grocery. If I lived in town, I wouldn't order from here again. Delivery driver called me on my cell phone as if he was unwilling to get out of his car to "deliver." Pretty poor for a New York pizzeria.

I'm writing this review with GREAT disappointment. Before I start- Im posting this review on menupages, yelp, and wherever else I can in hopes that the owner/management reads this. First of all- when made correctly, the food here is pretty good compared to the rest of the neighborhood. It's the only reason they even got a star from me. But their service SUCKS, and they can't get an order right ever- even when I use their mypizza.com ordering site, which is just inexcusable. if the order is typed out, you're staff can't feign they misunderstood me on the phone, so I figure they just can't read. On multiple occasions now my order has arrived half incorrect, missing items, or just totally wrong. Secondly, their delivery is just damningly slow. My order took an hour and a half tonight. ON A MONDAY. I dot live far away either. And when I called to see if everything was ok, the phone girl was just rude. Billy's: if your staff was even remotely competent, and cooks could read an order you'd have kept my business. However, their inability to do their job has helped me decide I no longer wish to waste money bill go out of my way and pick up pizza elsewhere or just order sushi next time.

Whoa! Has anyone checked out Billy's latest restaurant inspection Info on nyc.gov (health & mental hygiene category)? Their last inspection was on 3/21/11 and had 48 violation points!!!! Per nyc.gov, "An inspection score of 0-13 is an A, 14-27 points is a B, and 28 or more points is a C." They got 48 points people!! I recommend going to the site and reading the details yourself. Just note that one violation said "Personal cleanliness indequate." Billy's, please fix this and fast! Ugh, I'm not going back until they are well into the A category.

Now I'm not a racist by any stretch of the imagination, but it's true that certain neighborhoods get stuck with a negative connotation. When I say Crown Heights to my parents, (both of them having lived in BKLYN/QNS from the late 50's to the late 80's) they shudder. So it came as somewhat of a surprise that upon visiting my friend who is living there at the moment, he suggested that we go to Billy's. A brand new pizza place that has "the best pizza ever." Ok, so he's from Florida... and making the claim that a new pizza place has the best pizza in New York City is a pretty outlandish claim, but I have to say, while it might not be the best, I was absolutely shocked at how damn good it actually was! The menu is pretty standard for a pizza place, but the quality of the food is definitely above average. Also, the restaurant itself is sparkling clean and a pleasant place to eat in. I know that this completely breaks the rule of the more divey the place the better the food, but hey, rules were made to be broken. Also, the staff is very friendly albeit a little quirky (the guy behind the counter advised me not to drink the tap water because it would "make my face fall off".) Maybe its just the contrast of the nice newness of Billy's compared to every other establishment in the area (and the bizarreness of there being nice newness in that seemingly forgotten neighborhood) but I would definitely recommend going next time you're in the hood.

hands down, best pizza in crown heights with an ample selection of rice balls, pastas, baked entrees, heros, salads, calzones, plain, gourmet, pan, and sicilian pizzas. i especially like the Grandma pie: it has the perfect combination of thin crust, garlic, cheese and sauce, and fresh basil. considering the standard of nyc pizza vs. the relative pizza mirages in this area, the 4-stars is practically a no-brainer!

The pizza is good but the owner (guy in a cap with Bluetooth glued to his ear) is a racist. I've been here a number of times and his attitude is always the same to people of color. He has this condescending stare that makes you even regret stepping into the store. We're all purchasing your product. A smile/simple conversation should be shared with everyone and not only those who have the same skin tone as you. I can no longer purchase pizza from here with a good conscience.

So you want cheesy, greasy, sauce full, slabs of pizza? Then you'll like Billy's. My room mate used to order take out for every meal and this was one of his three go to places so I've experiences Billy's pizza a few times. First off, it takes a while for delivery- about 45 minutes or so. The pizzas, whether they are just cheese or with toppings, are always chock full of cheese with a little too little sauce and thin crust. Although some say there's never enough cheese, there is enough if the quality of it isn't the best. For the Crown Heights area this is a good place to order delivery/take-out from- but there is definitely also better pizza around.

Really unsure why Billy's has some bad reviews, it truly is a great pizza joint. I've ordered pizza from here many, many times and am never disappointed. Even after trying another pizza spot close by I realized how great Billy's is compared to other places. The pizza is always delicious, the staff is always super friendly (both in person and on the phone). I've never had them deliver because I live quite close, so it seems pointless to have them walk two blocks to hand me my pizza. Honestly if you're complaining that their delivery is slow why don't you get up and get it yourself? Just makes no sense if you live so close. Anyway, overall a great pizza place.

This place is one of the delivery options in the Lefferts/Crown Heights area (best pizza around is Family Pizza, but they don't deliver). I haven't actually been to Billy's in person, so I can't comment on the location, but I've ordered delivery a few times. Toppings were generous, the crust was pretty good (though I prefer the NYC-style paper-thin crust), but this pizza just doesn't cut it (er, slice it?) in a city with fabulous pizza. The sauce is my big complaint. It's lacking flavor and there just isn't enough of it. The cheese is also just a little weird. It would be a stretch to call this "great pizza", but it is one of the better delivery options in this nabe. I'll probably order from them again, but I have to shamedly admit I prefer the Papa Johns on Rogers Ave.

Solid pizza place in the neighborhood that doesn't have many pizza places. This is my go to spot for pizza when I'm at home. Overall, pizzas are fresh and tasty. Crust is crisp on the bottom and soft and chewy on top. I do like the buffalo chicken pie with tomato...

I've had better pizza than this. I called in advance and they gave me the wrong order. Not only was the order wrong but it was cold and tasted not at all fresh. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because they were open until late but besides that I don't think I'm ever going back.

Yes, I agree with Kathryn H that it is better (and cheaper) than Villago. Too bad, as Villago has a brick oven (which they finish the pizza in, but seems like they don't really know how to use it). We--ever on the search to eat pizza--have also tried Lennies (on Nostrand), Ginos (on Flatbush), and Ferraras (on Bedford, I think). This is a good, solid, neighborhood pizza joint to order from when you want a pizza for dinner. (It's not DiFara's, Patsy's, Grimaldi's or Spumoni's). In this nabe, consistent good pizza is really hard to find and this is the best of the lot. We really like the calamari too. Make sure you tell them (and any at other pizza joint) that you want it cooked "well done" or as we overheard a guy in the store when we were ordering over the phone "cooked, cooked, cooked." Most issues with so-so pizza can be solved (or at least made more edible) by cooking it more. Also, don't order the supreme pizza here. It *seems* like a good deal and super tasty (two kinds of meats, lots of veggies) but it's too overloaded and so it gets super soggy and the crust doesn't cook right. We order from here regularly (maybe once a month) and will continue to do so.

It is so great to have a decent pizza in Crown Heights! Thank you Billys! Their pastas and calamari are great. Their pizza is never the same twice, but nonetheless it always hits the spot.
