Absolutely loved the mango gelato. Very clean space and the bathroom has a bidet! Cute vibes and comfy chairs Service is a bit slow, but that’s understandable given how much traffic the place gets. Will definitely be coming back.

I went here on a Saturday evening and it was amazing! The staff were great and they did an awesome job of giving recommendations. The aesthetic was awesome as well. Loved it. My gf got the Bythani Qahwah Coffee Hot and it was amazing! The staff recommended us to not get a cold as it’s not as good as it is hot. It tasted so unique. I’ve never had a coffee drink like that before! Loved the spices I’ll look to order that drink again if I come back. I was looking for something more iced since it was pretty warm in the shop that day so I got an iced Yemeni latte which was pretty delicious. I’ve got the Yemini latte at many places. I will say it was pretty top-tier Bilqis. The front desk worker was also nice enough to add additional sweet to the Yemeni Latte after I had order after I initially asked for less sweat so I appreciated that! Their honeycomb bread was great as well. I highly recommend. I’ll definitely be back. !

Bilqis Coffee in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, is an absolute standout, not only for its outstanding coffee and tea but also for the top-notch ambiance that truly elevates the experience. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by a warm, inviting atmosphere with stunning, carefully chosen furniture that adds a modern yet cozy touch to the space. It’s the perfect spot to unwind or catch up with friends, offering both comfort and style in one beautiful package. The coffee and tea are simply amazing—perfectly brewed and rich in flavor, with every sip a reminder of the quality and care that goes into each cup. The pastries are equally impressive, with the honeycomb bread being a real highlight—light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. All the pastries are fresh, making them the ideal accompaniment to your drink. Wonderful escape in Bayridge to Yemen. Came in on a Saturday afternoon and most cozy couches were taken. Both coffee and tea were nice and strong, and I love that they have a cream/cardamom and ginger flavors. Im happy it wasn't sweet by default as the dessert complimented the hot drinks. Only thing I wish was the dessert was heated up to give it more crisp. Highly recommend a visit if you are looking for a place to catch up with someone or do work (they provide wifi password at the counter). Service is on the slower end which is why it should be a place to come if you are not in a hurry. IG@Jubes111

A favorite since my very first visit, Bilqis brings Yemen to NYC in a modern, friendly, and culturally accessible way. When you walk in, the first thing that hits you is the smell of cardamom, which is in my favorite is in my favorite coffee on the menu… the dark roast qahwah. The coffee is served in mugs instead of paper cups. There is a room in back for groups. The atmosphere is light and friendly, with a tremendously diverse clientele. Seating is comfy and ample. I absolutely love this coffee house. The coffee and atmosphere are top notch.

I visited this new coffee shop with my mother and was pleasantly surprised by how clean and welcoming it was. The decor was beautiful, with nice paintings that added a cozy touch. Most importantly, the service stood out, especially from a staff member named Hannah. She was respectful, kind, and always smiling. I really appreciated how she treated us. I ordered two lattes, and they were both excellent. I enjoyed them so much I didn’t even realize I had finished them! The restroom was very clean, and I liked that there was an extra sink outside for convenience. There’s also a quiet room that seems perfect for studying or using your laptop. Although I didn’t try the pastries because I was heading to lunch, I’ll definitely come back to check them out. If you’re in Brooklyn, this spot is worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Yelp
"To become the leading provider of authentic Yemeni specialty coffee in the United States, celebrating Yemen's rich coffee heritage while empowering local communities through sustainable business practices and enhancing global awareness of the unique qualities of Yemeni coffee" This is Bilqis Coffee's mission and that vision is crystal clear upon entering this fairly new spot in Bay Ridge. The aroma of Yemeni coffee and cardamom hit me as soon as I entered. This spacious gem also sells its coffees, teas as well as brewing instruments. I was in the mood for a coffee with cardamom and decided to order the Light Arabic Qahwah coffee. The barista who took my order was extremely courteous and asked me if this was my first time visiting shop. I replied yes and she offered me a free piece of baklava. I found a table as I waited for my coffee; there are ample seating and cushions for comfort. My Qahwah was ready and she served me a side of honey to place inside my coffee. You might ask what is the difference between Qahwah and regular coffee? Qahwah on its own does have an earthy and slightly bitter taste. However, when cloves, cinnamon and my favorite, cardamom, are added the flavor becomes a bit citrusy, floral and sweeter. The Qahwah was delicious and adding the honey complimented the cardamom nicely. Bilqis also serves assorted flavors of gelato, baklava, cheesecake, croissants and other sweets. Special shout out to the barista who served me, I did not get her name, but she is absolutely wonderful and accommodating! The cafe ambience is relaxing and there is complimentary water offered in the back. It's a great start to your day or end it after post work. Bilqis is located on 80th and Fiftb Avenue, take R train to 86th and Fourth Avenue, @8 minute walk.

Yelp
Bilqis Coffee is such a welcome new gem in the neighborhood! I have passed by this place a few times and decided to try it, especially since I always wanted to try Yemeni coffee! The atmosphere is very cozy and chic. The space's design features a lot of plush seating and nice gold accents. I was greeted by a kind, knowledgeable server. He gave thorough recommendations for the different brews available. I opted to try the Bythani Qahwah, since it sounded like something I would enjoy. Bythani is brewed with almonds and spices. It was very flavorful and delicious! Each order is brewed to perfection and was served at our table. I also ordered a chocolate croissant and a slice of pistachio tres leches cake. The food and coffee were wonderful, and the atmosphere was the cherry on top!

Yelp
I had Yemen Latte and Caramel Almond Delicacy I definitely can recommend Delicacy. One of the best in NYC Service is slow but it is ok, because place is Cousy and relaxing , no need to rush. I can recommend this place.

Yelp
I've driven past this place but never entered because it seemed a little dark inside. But upon entering, all the lights and the touches of gold offset that. I was greeted warmly and was kindly helped with selecting a Yemeni coffee. The bilqis and the bythani are more milky if I remember correctly and the jubani has a lot of ginger so I went for the radaai. Each Yemeni coffee is made to order, so it can take a few minutes. First sip of the coffee you can taste the notes of ginger, which was made with a little less ginger than normal, for me, as it was my first introduction into this type of coffee. The coffee got better as I sipped, as it cooled, the warm ginger notes seem to come out more. I ate it along with a honeycomb bread, which was drizzled with honey. The end of the coffee has that grittiness that you find at the bottom of Turkish coffee so be sure not to drink it! I really enjoyed my twenty minutes here, it was calm and quiet, which I appreciate at the start of my day.

Yelp
First time here this new coffee shop is a great addition to the neighborhood, I tried 2 of their sweets, a sweet milk coffee, seemed to have been a medium roast. I have to say everything from the service to the quality was great i will definitely be back.

Yelp
Despite it being brightly lit & opened late which is always a plus in an area that is full of places that close too early, even on weekends..this place was disappointing! It's way overpriced for sh*tty coffee and below mediocre desserts! People linger there taking up seats long after they finish their coffee & desserts, having loud conversations with each other. This place has the audacity to charge $3 for EACH Small SQUARE of Baklava; which were spongey not crispy & lacking that traditional baklava flavor. The caramel swirl type of cakes tasted like burnt caramel! The Yemen coffee which we were told was strong & popular, was HORRIBLE! And what "strong"?? Again OVERPRICED & DISAPPOINTING, not returning. This place gets crowded with neighborhood regulars who you can tell grew up on this stuff so it seems they're used to this crap.

Yelp
I tried their dragonfruit limeade today and it was amazing! Presentation is phenomenal and the staff was so friendly. My friend got their authentic Yemeni tea, adeni and it was amazing!! Definitely recommend this spot for friends and even just by yourself!

Yelp
Sala was a gracious host as he explained the coffee selection he helped me with. The coffee was delicious as was the Yemeni pastry I tried. A beautiful location and beautifully decorated store - very warm and inviting. Just a great ambiance for visiting with friends or reading alone! Peace to all the friendly employees I met there!
