"Cuisine rich with the fertile imagination of Hiroki Matsuoka expresses a spirit of relentless curiosity. Free-range chickens from Kagoshima are aged to draw out their flavour. In addition to the usual salt and sauce, the chef brushes yakitori with a fragrant oil he prepares himself. The menu intersperses skewers with chicken items such as stewed liver and cutlets. Meals wrap up with rice served in earthenware pots or ramen in chicken broth. Admiring the chef’s skill and imagination is part of the fun." - Michelin Inspector
A bit of a bill shock given we thought we ordered twice as much because all the photos showed 2 sticks per photo, it was only one. We also ordered the large rice and it came out a cup. Lastly there was a 378 yen entrance fee for a thumbnail size pickled cabbage. LOL what an experience we had to go down the road to buy more food.

We really enjoyed the yakitori here. We didnt book and was lucky to have seats. Saw a lot of people coming by and cant dine here. If you do mind smoking and dont like the smell, it is not a place for you. The food was good though, tried all sorts of chicken parts and even the chicken sashimi. They were really good. Also tried their season wine and it went well with skewers.
