"The handmade dumplings from the sibling restaurant to jianbing food cart Bing Mi are delicious and varied. Visitors will find meaty versions like beef-and-onion or pork wontons in house-made chili oil, as well as a vegan dumpling with shiitake mushrooms and Impossible meat. The san xian dumplings here are a specialty, with shrimp, pork, and Chinese chives, or egg and wood ear mushrooms." - Thom Hilton

A Guide to Portland’s Most Outstanding Food Carts

"Bing Mi specializes in Northern Chinese-style savory crepes called jianbing. Fermented black bean paste and spicy chile sauce come slathered on an eggy crepe filled with green onions, cilantro, pickled vegetables, and a fried wonton cracker, combining bright, umami-rich flavor with both chew and crunch. Options include loading up the jianbing with bacon, spam, or even roast duck; double up on proteins and egg for a primo brunch." - Nick Woo, Janey Wong

Where to Eat and Drink After Visiting Portland’s Forest Park | Eater Portland

"Few dishes hit the spot after a chilly, damp forest hike better than a bowl full of warm, tender noodles. Bing Mi graduated from a popular nearby food cart — which continues on — to this cozy restaurant. While the cart specializes in jianbing, a kind of crepe from northern China, noodles and dumplings are the name of the game here. Sweet bean flavored zha jiang mian is the flagship noodle offering, and 10-piece dumpling sets include combos of ingredients like pork, cabbage, chives, and shrimp. Check the boards for current beer and wine offerings." - Nathan Williams

Google
The bings are amazing! Getting a truly unique food in Portland isn’t easy, but it can be done here. Delicious.

Zhuo Qu

Google
Honestly I don’t recommend this food cart for the Chinese style omelette wrap! The food flavor is authentic, but even the classical one takes $12.5. I waited for more than 30 mins to get my order. And we need to pay tips in advance. What kind of service shall we get😂😂 besides we pick up our order and keep waiting?? My friend asked me how I felt after finally getting the order. And my answer is it doesn’t deserve the queue and wait 🤣🤣

Google
I have never had jianbing before, but after trying both the roasted duck and chinese sausage loaded jianbing, I need it in my life regularly. An incredible blend of flavor, made with care and served in a convenient platform. Eat Jianbing and be happy.

Google
Always a solid snack to get when needing something quick. It's always consistent and tasty. For this snack time, I just got the original with Chinese sausage.

I’ve been coming to this food cart for years, in multiple locations. Never disappoints. It’s unique and delicious, and has a good variety of vegetarian and meat options. I recommend it to everyone!

Google
Duck meat Jian Bing is amazing, also recommend their home made guava lemonade! Next time would love to try the wontons in chili oil

Susan Jackson

Google
Really enjoyed the wontons in chili oil I had. Great flavor (though not spicy). If I have time on my visit I will go back and try the jiangbing.

Google
Classic Jian Bing was okay but really nothing to praise, a little bland, lacked flavour. Would be 3 stars but I am sure they provide better food, I just didn't have anything else

Yelp
Why was this the best snack we had in Portland? It was that good! The texture and taste were absolutely on point--everything about it was a hit for us. We got the original Jianbing, and it was so good we couldn't stop talking about it. Something so simple, yet so flavorful! We tried other plates at the food cart, but honestly, we would've been just fine (and probably more satisfied) ordering another Jianbing. It was unlike anything we've ever had before--the perfect snack to grab on the go. We're already planning to come back here before we leave! Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Portland.

Yelp
While in Portland last month I happened to stop by a Food Truck spot and found Bing Mi out of the bunch. I've seen a lot of videos about Bing's and figured that it was the perfect opportunity to give them a shot. The truck itself is small and was ran by 2 people - my order was taken and I was able to sit at a table by the brewery nearby while waiting. I got the duck special Bing which came out in 10-15 minutes. The bing itself was delightful - the crepe was crispy and light and acted as a perfect vessel for the fillings. The duck was cooked perfectly and everything in the inside of the bing was fresh and nice. The only thing I wish I had was some additional sauce on the side. For it being my first experience having a bing I was pleasantly surprised - would definitely recommend this spot for anyone interested in giving jiangbings a try.

Yelp
Wow, how lame. My roasted duck jianbing came with literally 1 small, thin slice of duck. And they dare to call it "loaded". Such a shame, cause it ruined what would otherwise be a delicious, uncommon Chinese crepe that has a delicious combination of flavors, hoisin, thin egg omelette, cilantro and crispy wonton if it was properly filled w/ meat. But 1 slice?? And "slice" is being generous (see photo). I can't let that slide sorry. Master Kong is better.

Yelp
I've gone back a few times and something about it feels like it has gone downhill since my initial review. I'm having trouble putting my finger on it. Maybe they're skimping a little on the fillings. I felt like I was getting too much of the crispy wonton today and not enough of the Chinese sausage. Maybe it's that the novelty wore off. Maybe it's that I like the jianbings at Master Kong's more.

Yelp
Bing Mi serves up a fantastic classic jianbing! Made fresh and piping hot, it's the perfect handheld street food. The crispy layers and savory fillings were spot on, delivering great flavor and texture in every bite. If you're in Portland and craving a satisfying snack, this place is definitely worth a stop.

Yelp
I got the loaded tofu jianbing from the food cart. Friendly service. I went with medium spicy because I didn't want overpowering spice, but it was milder than expected, so I'd recommend going all the way to spicy if you want a kick. It was a good jianbing, flavourful and not oily. I could have used more vegetables inside inside instead of going so heavy on the wonton crisps.

Yelp
Our friend introduced us to Bing Mi and we fell IN LOVE!!! I would have never known about this place if it wasn't for her, so BIG SHOUT-OUT TO AMANDA! This food cart is one of the eight carts permanently situated in the Slabtown Food Carts block. It's a small area, so it can get crowded depending on the day/time. There are shaded/covered tables within the food cart area and right outside, adjacent to the street, but again, this spot is quite popular, so you may need to wait a bit for an open table. My go-to is the FRIED TOFU LOADED JIANBING and my husband's new favorite is the CHINESE SAUSAGE LOADED JIANBING with SPAM. His combination isn't on the menu, BTW. There is an additional charge to add spam. But whatever you decide to get, you have to make sure you order from the LOADED JIANBINGS menu. LOADED includes an extra egg, cracker, and fresh veggies. This combination provides the perfect texture for this savory Chinese crepe: soft & crispy and fresh & fried. You also have a choice of the spice level. Personally, the difference between mild and medium is daunting. To me, mild has a spicy level of 0 and medium has a spicy level of 7. LOL, big jump, I know, but that's just me. Each bite is full of flavor and I promise you, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
I was so excited when I saw this truck at the food truck camp! When I saw a bunch of people waiting for their food I knew this would be worth the wait. I ordered the original and it was made to order. The jianbing was pretty sizable and I was absolutely stuffed! I would highly recommend to anyone!! Order for a filling lunch!!! I got the medium but definitely should've gone spicier.

Yelp
If you've never tried JianBing, this is the time to go. Service: Nothing in particular that stuck out one way or another. The menu was straightforward and mostly there were no additional questions to ask. Ambiance: Bing Mi Food Cart was located near the end of the Food Carts block. There was a table directly next to the cart if you wanted to eat your JianBing in peace. There were also a few more tables around. It was well-kept and clean. Food (5/5): We ordered the Double Egg Jianbing which came with scrambled egg, bing sauce, green onion, cilantro, zhacai (pickled mustard stem), and wonton crackers. It was the perfect combination of salty, crunchy, and tangy - my taste buds were blown away. It was so good we really wanted to order a second one after we finished the Jianbing; but unfortunately, we couldn't because we had another restaurant to try 30 minutes later. I so desperately wish we had more places, especially in the Bay Area that sell JianBing, but I guess I'll just have to wait for my next trip to Portland to get another taste. Do make this place a must-visit if you're in the area. It's filling, affordable, and tasty.

Yelp
I came to this food cart after looking up options online on Black Friday 2023. As it was quite chilly outside, there were not a ton of people, but there were 3 people in front of me in line or waiting. But very quickly, my order was taken. I opted for the smaller size jianbing because I wanted to make sure I could finish it. The person taking my order asked for my spicy level, and let me know that "medium" is about sriracha level, and "hot" was only slightly more spicy than this. This was a very accurate description so I'm very glad I got spicy. The jianbing itself was delicious! The flavor was great, and the crackers inside were a good amount of crunchy. There were many tables in the area to sit by, and there was even a fire pit on to give us some warmth, so overall a lovely experience. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick lunch!

Yelp
Loved the vegan version of this, the classic version lacked flavor for me. Would have loved more sauce and aromatics. Very unique dish, loved how piping hot it was.

Yelp
Man oh man I was so excited to try this place. I first had jian bings when I was in Beijing and I loved them. So when I heard Portland had this place I knew it was a must visit. We came on a Sunday around 12 and there was quite the line. About a 15-20 minute wait after I ordered. I got the classic double egg jian bing. After getting the toasty bing, I was pleasantly surprised that it's a decent size! The typical bing comes with egg, sauce, green onion, cilantro, pickled veggies and sheets of fried wonton. Everything tasted fresh. I couldn't put my finger on it but I felt like it wasn't as good as what I've had in Beijing. Maybe the sauce was a little too sweet or I could have used A LOT more pickled veggies. The wonton sheets add texture for the first couple bites but easily gets soft and blends with the other textures. Overalls, not bad not great. It's in a food pod so it's mostly outdoor seating but they do have covered options. A couple other food and drink options too.

Yelp
This was my first stop in PDX, and I don't think I could've found a better "snack" food after a flight. I got the Supreme Bing (duck + sausage loaded jianbing) and my husband got the loaded bing with bbq pork and sausage. We were both hungry and didn't want to share lol. The Supreme Bing ended up being too much for me and I couldn't finish it in one sitting. It was tasty and filling (and really hot!), but I don't think it's worth $18 unless you want to splurge or really want try this. Although pricey, it is one of the better/tastier jianbings that I've had. Oh, also, get the sweet soy milk! It was nice to drink an ice cold fresh soymilk with the jianbing.

Yelp
Small place but have really good food. Staffs are friendly and nice. You do need to order at the counter. So, get a menu, pick a table, then head to the counter to order. They will deliver your food to the table but you do need to take the plates to collection area before you leave. While I understand it is to help reduce the staffing needs, but it made the dining experience a bit messy. I ordered the supreme bing, which is really good and enough portion for an adult. Overall speaking, I would recommend this place to friends.

Yelp
My first time having Jianbings! I got the fried tofu Jianbing with vegan batter. Very crunchy and I love crunchy texture so it was awesome. I went with 2/3 spiciness level and it was not too spicy (I would get level 3 next time). The jianbing was super crispy and flavorful, my only complaint was that it was a lot of fried stuff and it hurt my stomach, although it was my choice to get the fried tofu. Next time I'd like to try one of the breakfast ones. The dumplings were so good and exploding with savory flavor.... The sauce was ok, maybe slightly bland, but that let the dumplings shine. I need more of these dumplings asap. The restaurant is really small and intimate so I would be sure to plan ahead if you want to go during a conventionally busy time. The service was quick and the staff were helpful!

Yelp
Got our food quick. Liked the flakiness of it and they have two options for vegetarians (Classic or tofu) but wished they would've served more meat in the other options because I feel like there were barely any. For the classic I liked the crispy wontons in it but I felt like it was lacking sauce and it had too much lettuce than anything else in it.

Yelp
June was my first trip to Portland and I had assembled a strategic list of eats around the schedules planned (mainly eating, lol). Was very excited about trying Bing Mi from all the reviews, and wanted to hit it as the very first meal upon landing in PDX. Didn't realize PDX food carts assemble in groups in certain lots, so took me a 2nd passing to decide to just park the car and walk to the area Google maps was saying I passed:). Various carts from street to the inside of the lot and finally found Bing Mi at the end of the lot. Having no experience with Chinese crepes, I had decided to go all-in and go for the Supreme Bing duck/sausage loaded. Wife chose the Adam sausage/bacon loaded. Didn't see anything kid might like, so got him some chicken shawarma on the adjacent cart while we waited. Took a while for it to be ready, with the friendly gentleman near the front of the cart working hard to assemble the crepes on a hot day. When it was finally ready, felt like a kid getting cotton candy handed to them. These things were nice and super hot! Looked interesting, but didn't see much in it holding it. First several bites were just eating through the crepe wraps with no real flavor. Undeterred, continued to work down to the super flavors everyone seemed to like on the reviews. Got some dry cucumber bites and then towards the bottom got some dry sausages and I guess dry ducks. Was trying to savor the flavors of the meat, but they didn't have much flavor to give! The meats were dry and not even fresh, the cucumber had the dry old taste as well. The special sauce, there was very little of it in there and it didn't taste special at all to me, tasted like hoisin sauce maybe (the brown sauce I pour on when eating pho?). After trying to at least eat the susbtance in it, tossed the ends of the crepe wraps since the whole meal left me with regret due to no flavor! Not sure what I am missing here, maybe chinese crepes are an acquired taste? The food quality and lack of flavor for $18 to me was a bad start to the PDX trip. Wife said hers was ok, but not sure if having bacon instead of duck makes a difference? I guess bacon is never bad, so maybe it had some flavor at least. For me, the excitement of trying this went from highs to the bottom of the foods I got to try in PDX. There was so much better flavors to be had, not only in trucks but even in sit down restaurants at this price level. I don't mind the price if the food is great, but this was flavorless for me. Maybe if you know and like these types of crepes, give it a go. Maybe the BBQ pork version is the one to get here for some flavor??? I heard couple of bbq pork orders while waiting for my order. If never had this kind of crepe like me, I say you can safely skip from the list of eats on a trip.

Yelp
The soy milk with dates is amazing! I loved it. Got the duck and pork belly Jiang bing and both of those were delicious and filling as well!

Yelp
I love this place so much! There aren't any other jianbing places in the Portland area that I know of, but this one never fails me anyway. I always come here for the spicy roast duck jianbing and chinese sausage jianbing. The level of spice is perfect and if eaten fresh, the textures and flavors are amazing!

Tenzin G.

Yelp
This was my second time trying the jiangbing here and it was so good! Unfortunately I only have a picture from when I went last time (which is when they did the 5spice beef special). Regardless this was a super fun breakfast/lunch item. The fried wonton skin provides a nice crunch. This along with the egg and other fillings provides a great texture. Their bing sauce is also very flavorful and overall they had amazing service. The only complaint I have is that it does feel a little greasy halfway through, so maybe share or grab a drink!
google avatar

Kyle W.

Yelp
I went here for a weekday lunch and even though there is no line, there was still a big backlog of orders to be fulfilled. Reviews say each order takes average 30-45 min, so do be prepared with a lot of time if you do check this place out. I can imagine it to be even worse on the weekend. We tried their special - five spice beef loaded jianbing and it was pretty good. I liked the sauce which had a slight kick when we requested mild spicy, as well as the crunchiness from the wonton crackers. The beef is very tender and flavorful, and I wished they were more generous with the toppings because $15 is a slightly hefty price to pay for a jianbing. Regardless, it was quite filling - one order is a good snack for 2 people. -1 star for the order taking longer than their estimate - quoted 35 min but ended up taking close to 55 min, and the lack of filling when we paid a few dollars extra for the beef filling.
google avatar

Anusha G.

Yelp
I had been looking forward to this since before I visited Portland. This Jianbing was as delicious as possible. It was crispy, spicy and warm. I got the special 5-spice beef with medium spicy sauce. It was amazing and a whole lot of food for me. I like spicy food and I thought medium was the perfect middle of spicy but not too spicy. The cashier was super kind and helped guide me through the ordering process. Whilst the order took 30 mins, the area was nice and had a few tables to relax at. If you do come here, I recommend eating it ASAP as it does get soggy after a bit!

Yelp
Located in the Nob Hill Food Truck Pod the delicious smells drew us towards the back towards Bing Mi. They serve savory crepes filled with tasty fillings and crunchy fried wonton wrappers. Hubby and I shared a 5 Spice Beef jianbing. The flavors were very good and the crispy wonton and soft crepe gave a nice texture. The only thing is I would have liked a little more of the tasty filling, it was a bit short on the beef. Still a great bite that I would come back for!

Yelp
OK, go ahead and shame me! I am a "Crispy Chinese Crepe" virgin. Yes, two weeks ago I discovered what acai bowls are at a YEE, and loved it. A week later, after a doctor appointment, I swung by these food carts and discovered Bing Mi's crispy savory crepes! And like WHOA my taste buds gave me instagratification! / LOCATION & SERVICE / Down a somewhat busy street, in the Nob Hill Food Carts, you'll need to get lucky finding street parking. Their cart is tucked away in the very back, next to a large picnic table. There are a couple of other picnic tables at the very entrance with heaters. Regarding service, I had plenty of annoying technical questions that I had to ask. But the sweet young lady there was patient that she described a few yummy choices that made it hard for me to decide lol. She still had service with a smile, and I liked it! // CRISPY CREPES // I went with my cravings and chose the Roasted Duck Jianbing ($14) and a Vietnamese Sausage Loaded Bing ($12). When I received my brown bag of goodies, I didn't think it would fill the whole bag but it did. One bite and I was in heaven! As far as meat fillings, both were tasty, but I guess I wanted more meatiness. Or maybe I was expecting it to be stuffed like a burrito, but it was not. I figured, eh it's just the way it's made. I asked for the mild spicy Bing Sauce, and I think that's what put it all together. Soft, crispy, and enjoyable! /// ALL IN ALL /// It's another unique Portland food cart. Something different, and something worth trying imo. I'm OK with the price, but I'm sure some will say it's expensive. I'll just use the "inflation" excuse. Oh well! I'll be back! I'm a fan. It's worth a try if you've never had a crispy crepe.

Yelp
We were excited to try Bing Mi after reading the reviews and seeing the popularity of their food. We ordered the Roasted Duck Loaded Jianbing and are giving it two stars, primarily for the generous portion size. However, the first bite usually sets the tone for the meal, and unfortunately, it was a letdown. The first bite was all crepe, the second bite was mostly wonton crunch, the third bite was dominated by cucumbers and some sauce, and it wasn't until the fourth bite that we finally found some duck. The duck itself was dry and tasteless, and for the price we paid, we expected more meat. It felt like eating a cucumber crepe rather than a duck jianbing. To the owner, we suggest adding more duck in the future to ensure customers feel they are getting their money's worth.

Derek T.

Yelp
If you love jianbing, then Bing Mi Food Cart is a must. If you don't even know what jianbing is, then Bing Mi Food Cart is a must. To oversimplify it, jianbing is a bit like a crepe but savory and uh, way better. The wait can get long on weekends so be prepared for that, but once you get past that, you can look into what to get. A classic jianbing is a great place to start, I got the roast duck which was delicious. Their jianbings typically have egg, crunchy wonton crackers, cucumber, scallions, and a great sauce to up the flavor a bit. These orders come out freshly made and piping hot so each bite is pure perfection and burn your mouth amazing. So if you stumble by this food cart pod, be sure to get a jianbing from here because it's well worth the wait (and if you can't stand waiting, then take a walk and explore the area).

Yelp
I pulled up on a Sunday at 4:00 PM ish and probably because it was absolutely freezing, there was almost no one around. There was no line and everything is made fresh on order. Besides the bing, I also got a sweet soy milk, which they warmed up for me on request. Overall, the pricing is okay and the bing is satisfyingly large. Chinese Sausage Loaded Bing (4.5/5): For the uninitiated, a jianbing is a crepe loaded with savory goodies that provide an assortment of textures. They're decently generous with the meat, but my one qualm was that I wish the bing sauce was more evenly distributed. By the time I got to the bottom, the last couple bites ended up being a bit dry.

Yelp
Bing Mi Food Cart is such a hidden gem in Portland! I got a roasted duck jianbing and it is so good and delicious! It reminds me of peking duck but there is a little twist with wonton crackers inside. The food here is quick, affordable, portion is great, and it is just DELICIOUS!
google avatar

Ploy N.

Yelp
Visited them awhile back at the Saturday Market, glad to be back at this location. Food was as fresh and tasty as always. The Roasted Duck Jian Bing was flavorful and texture-ful; loved the crispy and chewy contrast between the different dough. What a comfort food item.

Yelp
The soft crepe with the crunchy wonton cracker and aromatics/sauce is to die for! I got a spicy fried tofu jiangbing and all of the flavors were phenomenal together. Absolutely delicious and authentic popular street food. We got a refreshing passionfruit iced tea as well.

Yelp
The food truck is located in the Nob Hill food pod. They are all the way in the back. I selected them because of the amount of people that were waiting there which is definitely an indication that the food is good. I don't even know how to describe how yummy it is. I've never had this before and everywhere that I go when I travel I'm going to try to find somewhere that prepares this dish. I got the basic and I wish I would've gotten one with pork. The sauce is amazing the crispy wontons on the inside just give it a whole new level of texture and crunch. It's just an amazing culinary experience. They look huge but they were so light and fluffy that you could probably eat more than one. I wish I would have gotten 2.

Yelp
Wow was this delicious. Read about it before coming to Portland and it's not something you can find easily so I wanted to check it out. Located in this food truck lot in a suburb-y neighborhood (oh Portland ), this truck is located at the end of all the trucks. Options are simple, you get this crepe that has egg, wonton crackers, and sauce in a crepe and you just have to decide what you want in it. The person who rang me up told me the roasted duck and chinese sausage are their most popular. I love me some Chinese sausage so I ordered their loaded size to get the cucumber and extra egg. You also choose a spicy level. They described their medium as a sriracha level and spicy as a little spicier than that. I went with the spicy and glad I did because you really don't taste a ton of heat but just enough to add another dimension to this delicious food. The crepe is fluffy and crispy and all around deliciousness. I thought it might feel heavy but there's an airiness to it all and they don't overdo it with the sauce or stuffing so as big as it looks, I didn't feel like I was going to have a food coma afterwards. As a matter of fact, I'm not sure I would ever choose the "un-loaded" version since I felt there was just enough of everything). I also got the cucumber salad which had a nice light sesame flavor and the sunflower seeds added to the nuttiness of the dressing. I did think the lettuce underneath was wholly unnecessary and if I was nitpicking I would do away with it. All in all I haven't been wowed by a place in awhile but this place did it. Looking forward to coming back next time I'm in Portland.

Yelp
When visiting Portland, we love to stop by food pods for a quick lunch. We went here on Labor Day around 11am when they opened and there was already a long line for this truck! It took about 15-20 minutes for our food to come out. As we were waiting, more and more people kept coming to the Bing Mi truck and we could tell it was quite popular. Get here early to avoid a line! We got two jian bings (roasted duck and pork belly), tea eggs, and a soy milk. I'd pass on the tea eggs as they barely had any tea flavor. Both jian bings were delicious! It's essentially a crepe wrapping a savory filling consisting of eggs, wonton strips, bing sauce, veggies, and a meat. We preferred the duck crepe as it came with cucumbers and that helped balance the salty sauce. Would definitely come here again when we come back to Portland!

Yelp
If you're in the mood for this type of Chinese street food and something easy to eat, this is a good spot. I've never tried Jianbing before so I don't know if it's authentic or not. I didn't know that there's a fried wonton cracker in the middle which I didn't like but that seems to be what i should have expected! I thought the loaded mushroom was ok and am glad I tried it but probably wouldn't get it again. It also took awhile to get your order even with no line. There are a few other interesting good carts in this pod.

Yelp
Pretty solid jian bing but we ordered 3 meat options and there was little to no meat in all of them. (Bbq pork and duck) which was pretty disappointing. My friends did say outside of China this was the best jian bing they've had in the US and my friend from out of state yelled at me to try this place bc it's their favorite jian bing place. So I'd recommend trying it for sure. I am hoping that this was just orders toward the end of the day and they were forced to use what meat they had leftover.

Yelp
Ordered: -Duck Jian Bing -BBQ Jian Bing medium spice -Soy milk Pro: -Sooo good!!! We really liked the crispiness from the wontons :-) -The amount they give in the Jian Bing is deceptively filling -I recommend the medium spice!! It gave just the right amount of kick -Soy milk was slightly sweet & refreshing -Employee was very nice and helped us decide on our orders

Yelp
Amazing jianbingguozi! Definitely the best I've ever have in the States so far. Way better than the one from U district in Seattle (if you know you know). I'm jealous of Portland Jianbing lovers! I ordered the classic Jianbing on the first day to see if it's good. I don't really care about the authenticity when talking about Chinese food in the States, as long as they are tasty. Surprisingly, my classic Jianbing was so good, for the authenticity, I'd give it a 97.6374 out of 100. If you were willing to try new food and not allergic to certain ingredients, I highly recommend you to go for the original way: never get rid of any ingredient, even the 'preserved vegetable,' it's the great part (I know it sounds a bit unhealthy at some point, but don't get me started with some of your over buttered food and sugary drinks that you get everyday). For the Jianbing itself, the bread is thin and soft. If you order two eggs, it will be slightly thicker but still fluffy enough, you got more but the flavor is still classic and simple, highly recommended. The crunchy wonton cracker adds more layers of texture to Jianbing also, and it isn't too greasy. I like the sauce they use, it's not too salty and really balanced. To sum it up, Bing Mi offers good quality and tasty Jianbing, it's a place we'll come back again when we're in Portland.

Yelp
The Jian Bing is tasty. But the wait is 45 minutes. Not sure it is worth the wait. The hot soy milk is delicious though, definitely order that one again. The staff and the chef are nice. It's hard to find a parking space, so we had to park at the nearby grocery store. We bought something trivia to make up that we had to use their parking lot. Overall not worth the hassle to find a parking spot, then wait at least 45 minutes to get a Chinese version of fast food. Maybe not go on weekends? Weekday hopefully the wait time is less. After all it is Chinese street food. It is supposed to be quick and cheap.

Yelp
Love Bing Mi. It's a food truck and there's lots of picnic seating. We made an effort to stop by on our way between Cannon Beach and Bend. We were really looking forward to this. The jianbing was great - crispy, flavorful, fresh. But the cherry on top was the delicious sweet soymilk. Highly recommend.

Yelp
The jian bing was interesting to try, but it didn't amaze me with flavor or value. Although I got the deluxe version (with the most fillings) said fillings seemed slim. I could not detect any of the "preserved vegetables" that are mentioned on the menu. It was also $17 for one, not including tip, which is $1 more than the menu shows on their website. In my opinion, that's a lot for what is mostly flour and egg, and it's not competitively priced with the other food trucks in the court, which appear to have more copious quantities of meat and/or veggies for less money. This was my first time trying jian bing, and I get that it's more analogous to a crepe than a burrito, but for the quantity and quality of ingredients, it didn't seem worth the cost. For perspective, consider that you can get a large burger and fries with table service at a restaurant for that much, or a really good pizza (also with table service) for less than $34 and share it with two to three people.... The food court itself has a nice ambience and ample covered seating. Also restrooms and potable water a plus.

Yelp
It's tough to quench a jianbing craving. I'm glad I was able to locate this food truck. The jianbing was filling and delicious. It was crunchy and soft at the same time and had plenty of filling. Finding parking was a bit tough on the street and there wasn't many seats to sit so I had to stand while eating. The location has plenty of other food trucks which I will come back to try.

Yelp
Not sure why I haven't written a review for here yet. When I'm craving for something I can eat on the go, the jianbing (煎饼) from Bing Mi is the way to go. It really encompasses a lot of my favorite childhood flavors into one delicious bite. Usually, I order the classic jian bing and it's definitely enough and filling for me. This time I wanted to try something else, if you are hungry definitely recommend the loaded jianbings. I ordered their special, the Taylor ($16). It's a classic jianbing , duck loaded with bacon. The jian bing comes with bing sauce, cilantro, egg, green onion, preserved vegetables (榨菜), and crispy wonton crackers, then with the additional toppings I listed before. The duck is good, but personally I think the bacon isn't necessary. But if you're a bacon lover, this is for you. My favorite part of the jianbing is their bing sauce which I got as medium spicy. It brings the flavors together of all the components of the jianbing. Do note, there is usually a line and a wait, but you can call ahead for your order. I normally wait. There is street parking available, sometimes it's a bit more difficult to find a spot, but it is findable.

Yelp
Excellent fresh, flavorful food, fair prices, nice clean interior, and outside seating that was perfect for a summer evening meal. Service was quick and unpretentious. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

Yelp
My favorite food cart EVAAAA! I used to come for lunch when working a few years ago and it was fire then and it's fire now! So glad I stopped while in town, and PROUD they now have the cutest little restaurant nearby! The jiangbings remind me of crispy crepes that are handheld. The DUCK, sooo good!!!

Yelp
Every time I go to Portland, I go to this food truck. It's my favorite. Usually there is a long line. When there is no line, it just takes 5 min to make. Perfect texture. They cut it in half for easy splitting. I definitely recommend getting different flavors to mix and match. I have had all the flavors and they are yum.

Yelp
UMMMMM HELLO GORGEOUS!!! This spot is fantastic. It's amazing the kind of culinary creations some artist can put together in such small spaces. This food truck is a definitely do not miss!! Jianbings: A Chinese savory crepe with egg, bing sauce, green onion, cilantro, zhacai and wonton crackers wrapped inside. I got one with mushrooms, no meat and the taste was out of this world! Not exaggerating Imagine the soft crepe texture, with crunchy crackers and then all the mixings delicately folded up in a hand size treat. That's this ... absolutely must try while in PDX. Nice people too, great service with warm outdoor seating. Love you , I will be back!

Yelp
Ordered the premium duck set, it tastes good for me. The portion is huge for one person long line during Friday noon, so be prepared. Hard to find a parking spot as well...
