I had so much fun looking around this store! I will definitely have to make another trip to Des Moines just to to shop here again. The only negative thing I have to say is that they didn't open this store in Omaha!! If you're going to go here, give yourself a couple of hours so that you have time to look around at everything because there is A LOT to see.

During the holiday season, I visited your store in Valley Junction with my newborn in a stroller while shopping small to support local businesses. Upon entering, I was told strollers were not allowed. It was freezing outside, and I didn’t want to remove my baby from the warm car seat. I complied by returning the stroller to my car and carried the car seat inside instead. While doing so, I felt uncomfortable as employees stared at me, making me feel like I was doing something wrong. Ultimately, I left and waited in the car. I decided to give the store another chance on a day when someone else could watch my infant. Unfortunately, the experience was worse. I was followed throughout the store, ignored when I tried to ask questions, and no one offered assistance. After speaking with others, it seems this is a recurring issue. When concerns are raised, the owner becomes defensive rather than taking accountability. While the store claims to be inclusive because of its LGBTQ identity, inclusivity means creating a welcoming environment for all customers—including parents and caregivers—not just using a label. I hope this feedback encourages reflection and improvement in customer service and accessibility policies.

Okay, I'm obsessed with Bing's! I love to buy gifts here for birthdays, Christmas, and for myself. This is the best place I've found for tiny trinkets - and the best cards for everything. I love Bing's, especially the shop dogs and all the kind human staff!!!

This amazing little store has a little bit of everything. If you're looking for a gift you won't find at many other places, this is the shop to come to. They have so much stuff. We just walked in for a few minutes but I will be back to check every thing out when I have more time!! Highly recommend even if you're in the mood to just window shop!

As gift shops go, Bing's truly has something for everyone: cute, funny, witty, political and even a little profane. The store is a kind of social commentary. It's worth the walk through just for laughs, head-shaking and eye-rolling. Well worth the visit. The buyers who supply the store must have a great time on shopping trips.

what an adorable store. so many fun treasures. you can find a gift there for anyone. staff was great. I enjoyed browsing and purchased more than I needed.

What an awesome gift shop! It's located on a charming street full of shops. The store was filled with books, puzzles, games, funny stuff, stickers, great gift items. The employees were friendly and helpful. There is also a shop dog, Penny!! Adorable!! Highly recommend checking this place out!

Definitely sensory overload but a lot of fun. So much to look at. Tons of unique gifts. Everything from socks to fun little plastic signs for your desk. They had patches to unicorn horns. A little pricey but fun stuff for the hard to buy for. They also had a display of an Iowa artists work which included a beautiful lazy Susan.

This is my go to gift shop, I have never walked in and not purchased something. Every staff member is beyond kind. They are remind that their are safe spaces and people still in iowa.

Really unique gift shop in the Valley Junction area. My 2 1/2 year old son could not leave with out a finger puppet monster and a Dinosaur Egg! I did ok, I got out of here spending under 5 bucks! Not bad for a Dinosaur egg right? The store is super cute and packed to the gills with all sorts of stuff from Trump Voodoo dolls, to socks with funny sayings, to things for Cat Moms! If you are looking for a gift for that person who has everything or likes things a bit off the beaten path, this might be a perfect spot for you to shop for them! The women running the store was so polite and nice too, and heck we went in at about 4:58 and they close at 5.. That's customer service to the max... especially on someone who was spending under 5 bucks. I will be back for sure!

As a Realtor® I've always got a gift to buy & today I found the perfect closing gift for one of my out of state buyers! I'm absolutely trilled with this wall decor, its tasteful yet screams welcome to Iowa!!

I LOVE this store! They have so many cute, unique gifts including the painted peace poles, bird houses, bird bath and more. If you have someone in your life, particularly of the free-spirited variety, rest assured you will find something special here. In the second block right on 5th street in valley junction. Go visit!

Omg, this place is Uber fun and cool. The owner is very helpful and nice. I want just about all the items in the store. The greeting cards are right on point and the feminist items were right up my alley. The store has so many fun gifts for any girlfriend. They have cute sayings on magnets and other items... If you are looking for a fun store this is your place. There isn't anything like it in Des Moines!

I love everything about this store. Snarky, sassy, off-color giftables. If nothing else, stop in for some good belly laughs. Be warned to leave your kiddos or uptight people at the door... this may not be their cup of tea. I did a majority of my holiday shopping here, and I feel good about it-- supporting local is important to me!

Bing's brings a true element of fun to Valley Junction. They carry a wide range of whimsy products and much of it brings a smile to your face. From the wide range of unique greeting cards, stickers, trinkets, banners/pennants and more peace poles than you can imagine, Bing's is a great place for finding the perfect gift that will be a conversation starter! Be sure to check it out, if you haven't already, and bring with you an appreciation for sarcasm and be ready to leave with a smile.

This was my favorite store during my visit to valley junction. The customer service was GREAT, the selection of products was vast yet tightly curated, and I left very happy. I always appreciate a smaller shop that knows their customer. Go shop!
