8 Great Filipino Restaurants in and Around Daly City

"If you’re looking for traditional bibingka — the flat, pancake-like coconut-and-rice-flour snack — that’s not what they sell here. Binka Bites’ version is even better, using the same ingredients to make a cupcake-shaped pastry with a texture similar to a mochi donut. Get anything made with ube, the vibrant purple yam that Filipinos love. The ube flan bibingka, for instance, comes topped with cream cheese frosting and a cube of flan. It’s a contemporary take on the traditional dessert — and it’s absolutely delicious." - Elaine Wu, Dianne de Guzman

Great spot that has multiple flavors of bibinka, crumble cookies, and more. Unique flavors and your classic favorites. Ube flan and ube macapuno were my favorites. The salted cheese was interesting and worth the try. Both crinkle cookies were 💣. Definitely recommend stopping by!

First time here. It is pretty good but not a place I would go out of my way to get to. A bit pricey and parking isn't too bad as long as you don't mind parking close. Different flavors, I went when they first open up so they were still cooking so I couldn't try some of the ones I wanted. Overall it is good. I preferred the original as the different flavors wasn't much but a hint of flavor.

Delicious bibinkas that come in a variety of sweet as well as savory flavors. I was introduced to them at Undiscovered's Filipino Night Market in SF. The Ube Flan binka bite was so moist and not too sweet. It was like nothing I had ever had. I am really hooked. I'm glad they have a brick.and mortar in South San Francisco so I can get my fix when I need it! Super friendly staff too!

Ordered the Ube Langka and almost one of each flavor since they all looked so delicious. Pricing was as expected for this Filipino treat, which is reasonable. My only complaint is that they are too small, height is about right but maybe adding a little more around the love handles wouldn't hurt. Or just make a large batch for me!

We started ordering from Binka Bites about 5 years ago, but haven't been in 2 years due to the pandemic. Their bibingka is still super delicious, but we were disappointed in how sweet the toppings have become. They used to use real ube halaya, and you used to be able to taste the floral notes and coconut in the pandan, but now it just tastes and looks like colored frosting. If we ever come back, it would only be for the classic salted egg. That's still really good.

😋😋😋😋 Very good and cute modern concept in eating bibingka vs the traditional way. However they are very pricey when they're technically cheap

This place is so good! I wanted boba and found this place to my surprise. It's not boba it's something different and it's so good! I got the ube drink with coconut jelly and it was so good. I was nervous at first becuase ube flavored things can be to sugary sometimes but they nailed it. We also got the strawberry drink and two cup cakes and it was delicious. 100% will be going to back to try the entire menu.
