Bintang Supermarket Ubud

Good supermarket with mostly everything you need. Currently under renovation and I'm not sure what the outside is going to look like, but it's split into two stores at the moment with food one side and non-food the other (tissues, toothpaste, insect spray, hair care, etc). Friendly staff and helpful when needed.

Very good. You can buy everything at once, both food and household items. Seafood is always fresh. Also cheese, sour cream, butter, grilled chicken and any European products. The price is also good. I recommend!!!

They are upgrading right now, you still can buy everything from there. Nice and clean environment. The fruit is very fresh !

Love this place for grabbing the essentials and more in a supermarket. Great bath and kitchen essentials section and prices aren’t crazy for things that are imported. Only thing that I don’t enjoy is the random workers who hang out on certain aisles and try to convince me to buy products. Even after you tell them you are just looking they hang around like you may change your mind suddenly and need their wisdom. Nonetheless it is the best one stop shop for everything so I deal with it 😆

The best supermarket for European products in Ubud. Fresh meat, fish, vegetables, fruits. Tuna is a game changer, tasty and inexpensive. There is New Zealand and Australian marbled beef. Large capacity parking. Cashiers work quickly and politely

Worst experience ever! I went to buy some balinese coffee thinking that I can take a look calmly into local brands. But not possible. The coffee section has 5 ladies (at least) that try to sell you specific brands. I guess each brand has a representative there and they get commission from sales. The ladies are very insisting and intrusive. I told them kindly that “please let me take a look first” but they don’t listen. They constantly come closer and put some coffee under your nose. This is not a good selling strategy and very disturbing. I kept my calm and gentleness very difficulty as there are 5 people coming to you with different coffees constantly and push you to buy something. I left the place feeling very stressed and overwhelmed.

The new warehouse is filled better than old big hot Bintang making it one of the best markets to go to. A load of goods with affordable prices. The chicken meat isn’t the best unfortunately Bali started to use chemicals to grow the chicken bigger which affects the meat quality negatively. Other than chicken all not bad if visited in the first half of the day. Due to lower prices after lunch you will struggle finding good veggies.
