Most importantly this hotel is beautiful and a joy to relax in. The gardens are stunning and the rooms a joy. Yes you do have a panoramic view of Armnenia city, which is much better at night when just lights, but there is lots of lovely garden and birds to enjoy. My wife and I had a Grand Master suite which was superb with a private pool and a hot tub. The hot tub is controlled centrally but was piping hot each afternoon/evening so no problem there. The pool was lovely to dip into as hot during the day. The outdoor bar area by the restaurant was also lovely with a fire pit and a DJ playing relaxed chilled Ibiza type music. And the spa area was seriously nice and many people just relaxed there using that pool, sauna, steam and enjoyed drinks and food there as well.|My one big frustration was the lack/slow service each night in the restaurant. Breakfast and lunch were no problem at all, but dinner was not good. We had 3 nights there and never have I seen so many staff look so busy without actually doing anything. They were all really nice when they did speak to us, but clearly they are not managed effectively. I think there was a manager there, but not sure as he did not speak to us or any other guests. We waited over 30 minutes every night to get a drink or have our plates cleared. Instead of enjoying desert and another glass of wine we were so frustrated that we just gave up and retired early. A real shame when everything else is so nice. And going to alternative restaurants I think requires a 10/15 minute cab ride, which we did not do.
