Hofgut Ruppertsberg - Restaurant - Hofladen

This was one of the most memorable lunches I’ve ever had. We got a picnic basket full of delicious food, some teas and then cuddled up outside under beautiful cozy blankets. It was raining but that wasn’t a problem at all. Amazing super local food, gorgeous location surrounded by nature, riesling vines and farm animals. Hofgut‘s approach to sustainability deserves a special mention as the picnic is packed incredibly responsibly with the intent for you to take most of the things home for future use. A must-stop for picnic lunch, I can’t even imagine how good their dinner is. We’ll be back.

This was an excellent experience. The cuisine was both interesting and delicious. We enjoyed a fine service experience and the wine was superb.

Habe das Restaurant auch nur per Zufall gefunden aber die Reise hat sich so was von gelohnt. Alle Gerichte waren sehr gut durchdacht und so was von stimmig. Das war eines der besten Menüs die ich je gegessen hab. Auch der Kellner war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem einfach nur perfekt ich komme gerne wieder.

A delight! Before our tour of the winery, we had a completely organize and delicious lunch. The 4 of us indulged with this charming restaurant with an innovative menu. Mine was especially noteworthy - 3 variations of Hokkaido squash/pumpkin variations - to die for! I was so taken away that I forgot to capture photos until dessert. A small wedding was underway and what a setting they selected. Imagine an updated, yet still somewhat rustic structure/"Gut" with enormous charm. Lovely! The service was outstanding, and we were greeting by the friendly and talented chef. I'll be back!
