An Eater’s Guide to Crete, Greece’s Largest Island | Eater
"A family-owned olive mill that recently opened a restaurant in Kolymvari, marrying its olive-oil heritage with inventive dishes such as fava with bitter orange and seaweed and smoked pork chops, highlighting local ingredients and the estate’s milling legacy." - Demetrios Ioannou
We were here as we wanted to have the tasting menu. If this is your expectation, you have to book online in advance. Although we could not have the 8 course menu, we had the best meal we have eaten in Crete. All personal was super friendly and kind. And the food is just simply amazing. The drive is long but definitely worth it! Thank you so much for such a beautiful experience!

The best salad I’ve ever eaten and amazingly tasty olive oil. I appreciate how eco friendly their olive oil production is. The tour is really good and the restaurant is unbelievable with the seating outside having amazing views too. A must-see if in western Crete!

Interesting tour to learn about local Olive oil production and the surroundings are beautiful. Make sure you include lunch at the restaurant. Food is excellent and completes the experience. 5 minutes from there, don't miss the ancient olive tree.
