I really love this museum! The staff was super helpful, especially Ashley and her friend, I can’t remember her name. They explained how the museum works, and how to properly view it, and that really opened up my eyes to the mixing of Panamanian culture, nature and modern life. This is a museum where you need to take your time and not rush through it. Great museum great staff all around. Everyone was so helpful.

This was an eclectic experience as it featured the architecture of Frank Gehry. For a Sunday afternoon it was a good choice as after the museum one could stroll on the boardwalk with a view to the bridge of the Americas and the passing freighters making headway on the bordering waters. The museum itself featured an airiness with 5-6 halls connected from the outside space between. The geography and history of this country was well explained with interesting facts relating to the joining of the isthmus and the movement of fauna (flora) both north and south enabling new species to roam in all the Americas. There were some interactive displays and life-size models of the various prehistoric creatures that travelled through Panama. Both flora and fauna were documented in the setting. The cafe was a refreshing respite at the end of the experience.

Decent. Beautiful scenery but the establishment itself is kind of lacking. If you like to read about the topography and animals, it's nice, but nothing you can't google. I would recommend going as an "exploration" activity.

I loved this experience!! It is a perfect compliment to the lush vegetation of Panama and I left my visit feeling very informed and with a renewed respect for our environment! Everyone should pay a visit to this museum and there should be one in every country!

Incredible museum! Wonderful, interactive exhibits. Very informative and interesting. The restaurant was a great place for a drink and a snack after the tour. Family friendly and welcoming staff, most of whom speak some level of English. Plus tremendous views of the city, ocean and canal approaches. Definitely worth a visit when in Panama City!

A wonderful spot to learn about the incredible biodiversity of Panama and how the isthmus came to be. Beautiful building with interactive and engaging exhibits. Make sure you head outside after to see the magnificent fig tree.

It's a new museum dedicated to the study of biodiversity in Panama. The museum is very well managed and the staff are very friendly. The only issue is that when they have the one entire school visiting the place, the clients who are paying don't really feel welcome. When I went there, two full schools, with well over 300 students, were visiting. It felt like a playground for the school kids. I wanted to get something at the cafe, but it was packed with the kids, to the point that you could not even enter. It's something they need to take into account, considering that international visitors are also visiting, and this does not give a very good image.

Stunning and colourful architecture by Frank Gehry. The garden around is nice as well.
