We used to love coming to Birch years ago, but it’s gotten extremely disappointing, mainly due to the food quality: 1. The meatballs were raw on the inside, not only was that a health hazard, but it tasted really off 2. The chicken tenders were burnt on the outside - the inside of the chicken was completely dry and had no flavor 3. The truffle carbonara was absolutely bland - there was no hint of any truffle or cheese, it was cooked using only a cheap liquid cream and nothing else. The portion was disappointing on top of it. 4. The burger was RM62 and it was the most basic, mediocre burger. Small in size, the brioche bun wasn’t very fresh, the patty was average at best, layered with only one tiny piece of lettuce, thin slice of cheese, and nothing else. Served with bland, unseasoned fries. 5. The Caesar salad was just a bunch of dry lettuce. The dressing wasn’t even a proper Caesar dressing - it seems like they’ve used a cheap, store-bought mayonnaise-like condiment, and it wasn’t even tossed into the salad properly - just very lightly drizzled on the top, leaving the rest of the salad dry and unseasoned. This kind of food quality is completely unacceptable, let alone with the prices they charge. We did appreciate the manager removing the most unsatisfactory items off our bill, but it was still a very disappointing experience. I really hope that they take all feedback into account and improve on their food quality.

Compared to many positive reviews about brunch at Birch , the dinner was not up to the expectations. specially the food is mediocre, portions were small and the menu lacked variety. The ambience, cleanliness and the service were good. Hope the management could look into this in a positive manner and revamp the dinner menu.

What a honest and nice waitress they’ve, she returned back my phone where I carelessly left it on the bench outside their restaurant. Secondly their food is affordable along with good service, don’t forget their burnt cheese cakes and chocolate cakes. Been visited this restaurant a couple of times and definitely will return.

Loved the decor. Enjoyed the duck rendang with roti. Burnt cheesecake was a huge slice n very rich tasting. Nice but need.to share. Tuna melt and carbonara was average.

This cafe has been around for some time and I finally gave it a visit. It has a beautiful ambiance with abundant natural light and plant decorations. The cafe is about half-filled when we reached, but the waiter seated us at a table with direct sunlight. Half way through our meal it got warmer so we requested to change to another table nearby. The waiter hesitated and said it’s reserved at 12pm (although it was only 11am) but eventually allowed us to switch. I found this less than satisfactory, especially considering the presence of empty tables inside. As for the food, the Eggs Benedict were drowned in excessive sauce, and the use of sourdough bread was not to our liking. The Big Breakfast was somewhat underwhelming. And the shakshuka although quite good, but the egg was over cooked and there’s only one egg in it. The coffee had a sour taste, which did not suit my liking. Overall, the experience was slightly below average.

Birch feels like home even as a first time experience. Soulful place with exquisite menu offerings. All wholesome and gastronomic delights to tantalize the most discerning palate. Appreciate that they cater to all dietary restrictions and will even customize the food item if they know our food intolerances. Staff are warm, friendly and respectful. Very knowledgeable about food and beverages to suit our needs. The ambience is green and earthy! You can be forgiven if you felt you were in a cosy tropical forest with a bar thrown in. Amazing to find a refreshing sanctuary in an “urban jungle” location.

The signature duck bacon and egg spaghetti was delicious. The pasta was cooked nicely, and the eggs complemented it. The beef lasagne was not bad. Latte coffee was nice, balanced between the coffee and milk. Services was OK. Prices were slightly above average. Credit card accepted here.

Abit pricey but overall atmosphere is good. Food taste normal but i like the cake. Recommeded : Burnt Cheese Cake & Carrot Cake. Suggest to include food picture in the menu.
