Staff went out of their way to find us a table for two on a busy Friday evening on the run up to Christmas. Food was very good and all servers very polite and friendly, thank you, would definitely return again.

Wouldn’t go again Went in with some colleagues on a Wednesday evening. We had to keep our jackets on because the pub was cold. I was charged £5.50 for a can of beer. My colleagues had cocktails which they enjoyed the flavour of and the servers were very friendly and attentive. Nice staff and good cocktails, but cold venue and prices quite steep for a Dundee venue - charging Edinburgh prices when the business has cheaper Dundee level overheads - particularly when the establishment appears to be skimping on the heating!

Best bar staff in Dundee! Top compliments to our favourite barman The Legend Luke who looked after us. Genuinely the nicest, friendliest, knowledgable, most helpful man we've met all year!!! Please give the Bird and Bear a visit, cocktails are amazing!

Great pub and our brunch was fantastic. Service was a little slow but the staff were very friendly and I suspect it was just a bit short staffed and perhaps they didn’t expect quite so many people that day as Dundee was very quiet, even for half term. That might just be normal as I am from Surrey everywhere is packed over half term. Anyway well worth eating here and dog friendly too so 5* from us!

Arrived at 1pm no beer had to get some from next door, completely disorganised, seating burst. Decoration was nice ferns copper light shades etc, such a disappointment 😞

Lovely bar and great to have some background music. Would have loved to have given 5 stars but the service let us down. First waitress and manager were really helpful, however, the chilli dishes came out lukewarm and then was covered in cream. Nice that they cooked from scratch again but a quick blast in the micro would have sufficed. Third time lucky and the food was lovely. Shame it came out when everyone else had finished their food. Mix up about bill and rushed to finish up when I was still eating. Offered more drinks but was advised wed have to drink them quickly and leave. Complained to manager who was apologetic and embarrassed and assured is that it wasn't normal. Deducted my food from bill and offered us a free round of drinks if we return.

My favourite place for drinks! Love the atmosphere! I am a big fan of the place! There’s one Bartender that can talk to you and mix you up the perfect drink! Just makes it more fun when you know your drink was adjusted to what you were feeling! Only thing I would say, and please respond to me because I want to know this would be taken care of! The bartender the other day made me a mojito, crushing the mints in his hand! Well I have no idea how sweaty that hand was in the first place! But I also saw him touch cards and the card reader machine before and after that! This made me a bit sick tbh! Love the place but knowing the place is clean just matters the most to me!
