Apparently the owner here spent some time in Australia working in a coffee shop, and brought the style back here - this is as good as any (so called) 3rd wave coffee shop I've ever been to.
We had brunch here, which was particularly good.
Between us we had omelettes, avocado toast, French toast, porridge. All were very absolutely delicious, and very good sized portions.
We stayed for two coffees each because the coffee was really, really excellent - V60 in particular.
For the benefit of others with coeliac disease: my mother is coeliac, and the chef knew what this was and was able to cook her something suitable. She had no reaction afterwards, so I think they understand the condition well and are very careful with the preparation. They don't advertise it, so I wouldn't hold them to it, but we had a good experience here.
