Stopped in for a quick grab-and-go lunch at Birdcall, and I’ve got to say—it definitely flew above expectations. Nestled in the same building once ruled by the King of Burgers (RIP), Birdcall has fully claimed the throne—with crispy chicken and cold beer as its new royal decree. The vibe is fun and modern, with an atmosphere that says “come as you are and leave full and happy.” And yes—they serve beer. So now you have zero excuses not to stop in. I tried the Chicken Caesar Sandwich and the Brussels Sprouts Salad, and both were chef’s kiss. The sandwich was crunchy, creamy, and packed with flavor. The Brussels? Bright, crisp, and way more exciting than any salad has a right to be. Great food, great vibes, and a perfect lunch spot whether you’re on the move or want to post up with a pint. I’ll definitely be back—and next time, I’m bringing friends.

Tasty, convenient, consistent! I’ve been here twice now with friends and our kiddos! It’s easy to get to - right on 7th St. They have their own parking lot with plenty of spaces. Ordering is self-serve on kiosks but they always have someone right there to assist you if needed. The food has a lot of flavor and they have some great sauce options! There’s also adult beverages fyi!

2/8/25: Short version - meh. Food was all right, drinks were better, store could have used some cleaning, it was empty, had no interaction with the staff. You order, you wait, you pick it up from a bay. Long version - arrived this particular Saturday around 4 pm. Plenty of parking, significantly sized patio, absolutely no one eating inside but us. You place your order at the kiosk, watch the TV screen for your name & order status, pick up your grub from the bay, get your own drinks. I think the 15% tip was too much. We saw bits of food on the bench near where we chose to sit, another table had food on it & one of the chairs, so yeah, not sure clean up is their top priority. We could have moved but it didn't feel like playing musical chairs looking for a pristine place to dine. ;-) Their drinks are what stand out the most. I discovered 1/2 coconut & 1/2 root beer is a great concoction! The buffalo burger was all right, as was the grilled Caesar. The slaws were okay; I will say my sister's buffalo blue cheese slaw was much tastier than the honey ginger slaw I ordered (not enough honey or ginger). All in all, nothing to brag about. No reason to return, or even try another location.

I was very surprised,! It was very bright and clean inside. I had the Ceasar Chicken sandwich, it's a grilled chicken sandwich a bun sized parmesean crisp. It was very tasty. My husband had the grilled Louisiana Hot sandwich and we split a large order of fries. We like our chicken sandwiches with more sauce than wasvgiven. When we asked for more sauce, there was no issue getting more. Try the BirdCall sauce, its very good, it reminds me of a Thousand Island dressing. The prices are very reasonable too. I also like the order screen that. shows you all orders with a count-down to when your order is ready.

I think I found my new favorite place! This chicken restaurant blows those "other" ones out of the water! The chicken sandwiches were so tasty, especially with the herb mayo - but they have a lot of choices. The best part is, Birdcall does not use MSG in their products so I can eat them which I'm so happy about! I love the streamlined ordering here and love getting to see the time on my order, and when it will be done. The tater tots are so good! The seasoning on them is perfection. I really love their sodas, like the root beer and cherry creme. They're so delicious. The decor is nice and the vibes are really fun and laidback. The restaurant was very clean! Drew was a great employee; she answered all of my questions and helped us with the menu since it was our first time. I really love Birdcall and cannot wait for my next visit!

The food is absolutely delicious! We sat on the patio which had a ton of shade and was really clean. Our server Drew was so welcoming and took great care of us. She even made sure to bring our dog water and a pup-cup. We'll definitely be back!

Never heard of this spot until the missus called it out on a ride uptown. The setup is like a modernized automat. The quality of the chicken was top notch! Flavors where fantastic! Fries were kinda old and cold... otherwise, a good experience. The place looks great, but everything was kinda sticky. Def worth the drop in though!

I have a gluten allergy so it’s hard for me to eat out most of the time. I love that i came here and they were very accommodating and have gluten free options. The little blonde manager, Drew, was so kind and well informed on gluten friendly eating and personally made sure no cross contamination happened with my food. She made the ordering process so much easier for me. The service here is phenomenal and my food was delicious. Will be returning!

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE !!! I've been wanting to try this place because I pass it on the way to and from work !! And it was excellent!! I got a chicken deluxe with grilled chicken no bacon and it was so good!! I also got fries and side of their sauce idk what it is I couldn't make out the flavor but was good ! Their ranch as well was amazing!! They also have very flavorful drinks to pick from as well! I got mango!! Will go back !!

I've been meaning to try Birdcall for a while and was pleasantly surprised when they opened a location in CenPho. The facility is neat and clean. It may even be brand new. I believe it sits on the property once occupied by a fast food burger chain, but it now looks entirely different. If you're on the go, a drive thru is available. The service was fast and friendly. When I walked in, an employee asked if it was my first visit and educated me on their offerings. You can use a kiosk to place your order, but the employee was nice enough to place it for me. I grabbed a fountain drink and found a table, then my order arrived moments later. I think orders are usually available for pickup at a dedicated station, but the employee was, once again, nice enough to assist me by bringing it to the table. (While I don't think they formally offer table service, the same employee even checked on me later.) I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich which was okay, though didn't "wow" me. For a side, I requested the Shaved Brussels Sprouts. While I like Brussels Sprouts, this side dish didn't do it for me. It tasted bitter and I'd pass on it next time. Overall, the standout of my experience was the Customer Service which is greatly appreciated.

Went last Saturday. I ordered the chicken strips as part of a take out meal from the 7th and Glendale location. After biting into the first chicken strip I discovered a long piece of plastic that was deep fried in the batter on the chicken. It was a shocking a disgusting experience. So much so that I had to throw the whole meal out. Reached out to Birdcall via social media but they never responded. Avoid this place at all costs!

We came here after a long travel day and I want to say the woman's name was Amy and she was such a delight to see. She had a smile the entire time. The food is fresh and I'm not a big tater tot fan but their tater tots are really good. They also have a lot of freshly made drinks that looked great.i enjoyed a tasty salad from there as well. We will be back,

This place was AMAZING!! It was my boyfriend and my first time being to the restaurant and Steven was great with explaining how everything worked and just things about the restaurant. For me he suggested a Nashville Hot crispy sandwich and let me tell you 100/10. I watched Steven interact with customers and he is the epitome of awesome customer service. He brought our food to us even though he didn't have to. He answered every single question that we had. Saw him give a little girl a sticker which she loved! The food was everything! I even got a salad to go for my lunch tomorrow. The restaurant was clean and we LOVED the music that was being played. Definitely would recommend and my boyfriend and I will be regular customers for now on!!

If you are looking for a chicken place to flock to may, I suggest "Birdcall," serving all natural made to order chicken sandwiches, tenders ,salads, and shakes. They also have frozen cocktails and beer available. We stopped for takeout and ordered a deluxe chicken sandwich, some tenders, and some tater tots. The chicken was crispy and jucy, and our boozy shakes were yummy. Our only complaint is they're kind of expensive but we can't complain about the taste so please support them.

We ate at Birdcall our last night visiting Phoenix and wish we had discovered it earlier in our trip! We love the modern aesthetic of this restaurant and all the fun details. You order at screens by the front door, their menu has lots of chicken offerings, with salads and sides as well. They also have some really fun organic soda flavors. There is a screen that tells you the timeframe of your order being ready and when it is ready it tells you which cubby your order is in. I love this system!! I got three chicken strips and tots. The chicken is juicy and the batter they use is excellent. The tots have a yummy spice on them. I hope they are planning on opening up some of their restaurants in Utah because it's so good!!

This is the second Birdcall opening in the the Valley. I have grown to enjoy the first one in Scottsdale. It appeares they have done a great job once again with the new location. The look is very modern and has a cool modern vibe. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was as delicious as I have come to expect from them. I will definitely be back when in the area.

First time here. I don't think they have been open very long. I wasn't sold on another chicken sandwich place but the menu looked pretty interesting. So we decided to try. I love the way they do ordering. You swipe your card at the kiosk or order via QR code. Type in your order, check out and you're done. They have friendly staff there to help but I like that I can order at my own pace. Then your fonder pops up on a tracking screen with the estimated time until it's done. When it's done, it tells you which bay to pick it up from. The system worked well. The food was awesome! They really know their way around chicken. The bun was light and held up well. The buttermilk sauce was delicious. The whole sandwich was well-balanced and easy to eat. I like that they had a bit of an alcohol selection, shakes and Tractor soda. I didn't try any sides this time but I will next time. Will definitely go again soon. I like this place a lot!

I went to BirdCall for their soft opening. Let me start by saying that everything and everything was firing on all cylinders. Drew walked me through the menu and assisted me. Ordering is simple, done on tablets located near the bar. I ordered a southern chicken, added bacon and avocado. For a side I chose Brussel sprouts and went a little crazy ordering a cookie dough shake. Everything was delicious, and by far, exceeded my expectations. In my opinion, this is the best spot for chicken in town.

Man, well. I love fried chicken. I also love anything spicy, and when you bring those two together, you'll find me there. I've been wanting to try this spot since it recently opened a location near me. Fries were good. Tots were smoky. Good, but I wouldn't be able to eat a whole box. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich. It was honestly just ok. What was weird is it was way too salty. We also got the Szechuan special edition one, and it was also too salty. It's good in a pinch, but there are other joints that offer tasty, fried chicken and sadly, I'll be deferring to them from here on out.

Pretty chill spot with a great playlist and small but impressive bar. While one would not think to hang, you definitely could. Mostly self service as you order from a kiosk and pickup from a bay. They are super fast getting food out. The food, though priceyish for what appears to be fast food, they have a drive thru, is amazing. This is sit down quality food but with fast service. It really is exceptionally good. Between the four of us we tried The Rancher, chicken parm, tenders, nuggets, fries, tots, chocolate shake and their craft root beer. All of it was good and I can easily recommend it, really just comes down to what your in the mood for. The root beer is absolutely incredible BTW, a must get if you're a root beer person.

Chicken sandwiches, in varieties! What's not to love? First Glance: I'm new to this growing chain, so I wasn't aware of the self-order situation. Appreciated the ample indoor or outdoor seating and neon light vibes The Service: The staff seemed friendly. I didn't engage with them because..it's a self-serve kiosk lol. I put my order in and walked to the screen. It said about 3 minutes but appeared in the window MUCH faster than that. The Food: Original Chicken Sandwich- I added the hot honey to this to add a little extra flavor. The sandwich was hot, tasty, and I especially appreciated the quality pickles. The bun was top notch. Think "elevated" chik fil a. TBH, I would have preferred to make it a double to have a more optimal chicken breast to bun ratio...you feel me? Like your ex always says, "girth matters." Fries- Hot, crispy, salty. Large portion. They were definitely fresh. More or less everything you'd need out of a fry. They have tots, but I was in a fry mood. Drink Options- I sampled a few of the non-alcoholic options (see the picture) ((bonus, they got margaritas and other alcoholic options too)). I like that there's different options than just your basic fountain options. They're good. Wrapping Up: A step up from your regular fast-food experience and basic chicken sandwich experience. If you don't mind spending a lil extra and want the finer end of a chicken sandwich, pull up.

Stylish fast casual chicken sandwich restaurant in Central Phoenix (7th St & Glendale Ave). The deluxe chicken sandwich was well made and tasty. Fries were hot but likely from frozen (not cut on site). I like the Birdcall sauce which is a spiced up Thousand Island. Two reasons for the 4stars. First, call me old-fashioned, but have a person take my order, not an iPad. Second, this location is experiencing some growing pains in the kitchen. My sandwich came out with my customizations, but they forgot the basic lettuce and tomato. Thankfully when I ask the person at the counter (maybe I messed up the iPad), the manager came out to me in person and made it right.

It was supper time and craving chicken. Stopped in at the local Birdcall. Glad we tried it. I had the most fresh kale salad Quinoa with grilled chicken. So delicious with a ginger dressing taste like house made dressing. My husband had the buffalo chocked sandwich it had blue cheese coleslaw to top off the kick of heat that it delivered. You order on a self serve kiosk but there is still an attendant to help you. Staff was super nice and all smiles. It is a bustling business so noise level was a bit high but nothing ridiculous that's just the vibe of the place. Would definitely try out a sandwich next time through the drive through. Cluck cluck yum yum.

Came here for a late lunch after my daughter got out from school. I had previously visited the Scottsdale location and enjoyed it and was excited since this one was a better location for me to frequent. I love how customizable the entire menu is and how easy it is to order from their kiosk. I had some tenders and my daughter had the nuggets. We shared some fries and tots between the two of us. Everything came out quick, hot and fresh. I especially love the dipping sauces and the seasoning they put on the tots. It reminds me of bbq lays chips? Not sure exactly but so crave worthy. Staff members were so helpful and nice. I appreciated the managers walking around making sure everything was running smoothly. Even the bathrooms were nice, fun parrot wallpaper with good melting soap and hand lotion too. This place really sets the bar high for chicken sandwich spots.

Service was great. Everyone was very friendly. I tried the original chicken sandwich which I liked however it was very dry. It definitely needs a sauce with it. They charge extra for sauces. The sandwich comes just with chicken and pickles so you feel the need for something in between. Other than that I think overall a solid chicken sandwich.

So here's the deal I had a rancher sandwich with grilled chicken was very good the brioche bun was perfect and the red onion bacon jam on point the grilled chicken was tender seasoned well and not dry definitely one of the best chicken samies I've had in a while.... Here's where the rub comes in an Asian salad with chicken $16.00 because you have to pay for the protein $12.50 with no protein and not a huge salad...The lettuce was a bit wilted the dressing was very salty ...To say this salad disappointed me is an understatement... The place is clean the people were friendly it's a little slow getting your food considering it's more or less a fast food restaurant..But the salad for the price is a major fail... The sandwiches shine unfortunately the salad falls very flat...

We paid $33 for a Dr Pepper, a shake, a chicken sandwich, and a seven piece chicken strip. You don't get anything with it you have to buy all the extra stuff separate. And we could not even eat it the oil was so old and disgusting that it was eating an old salt log . Gross !

What the cluck is going on with this new chicken joint? Everything is delicious, that's what!!! We went for the 1st time yesterday and want to go back today! I had the Rancher sandwich, lt was a large Juicy, well seasoned crispy chicken with white cheddar cheese, bacon red onion jam! It also has a bird-b-q sauce. I'm not a fan of sauces on my sandwiches, so I had it on the side. The sauce was delicious . Huge fan of their tator tots, I mean, who doesn't like tots? Well, even if you don't like my brother in law he tried them and loved them! These aren't your high school tots! These are made with seasoning INSIDE the tot! YUMMMY! The herb mayo was my choice of dipper for my tots so good! We split chicken fingers. They are juicy, crispy, seasoned well, and a good size! We had the honey hot & Sriracha mayo to dip. I can not do spicy. My taste buds were damaged, and now mild sauce at Taco Bell is borderline too spicy. ‍ The honey hot is spicier than the Sriracha mayo. However dipped lightly, it's delicious! The Sriracha mayo isn't spicy either, just flavorful! I got bold after that and tasted my sister's Nashville hot sandwich. I took it too far.... a small bite tasted great, and then about 10 or so chews in the heat smacked me back into reality! The flavor is great. The heat was too much for my toddler buds. They carry Tractor Organic beverages never heard of Tractor before. Well, I'm a fan! We mixed the cherry cream and coconut, and it was delicious!!!! The staff is very friendly! Service is fast! Very clean, restroom huge and very clean. They have a drive thru, too! Alcohol and milkshakes served. Booths, tables, and outside seating! It's definitely an A+ experience! Highly recommended! What the cluck are you waiting for?! I even showed you pictures! Go eat some yard bird! You're welcome!

Just tried Birdcall for the first time. Good sandwich, great service, even better #tatertots. While I can't say it is my favorite chicken sandwich, it was good - and those tots were awesome. The service was fast and all the staff were supper friendly and attentive. Would certainly give it another try.

Birdcall has a cool vibe. It's a great spot for a date - definitely a step up from your typical drive through or fast casual restaurant. It's sit-down restaurant quality and pricing, but faster to get your food and a more causal, approachable feeling. You order on screens when you walk in and you walk up to grab your food when it's ready. Our daughters loved the milkshakes they got with their kids meal and we enjoyed trying two different chicken sandwiches.

Chelsea made a GREAT first impression of a highly detailed proud of product food establishment. She told me about the Caesar sandwich. Better than any Caesar salad I had and it wasn't even a salad. I'm talking tableisde Michelin star establishments served Caesar's. Chicken joints are popping up everywhere like hey we know you want chicken so here's are half thought out business we opened because Shaq did so it must be the new thing to do. NOT this place. It's lights out fantastic. Great selection of Tractor sodas and house made aqua frescas/lemonade. Casual clean atmosphere. Absolutely love that they show expected ticket on screen in dinning room. When my son asked if our food is almost ready I got to point at a sign and 8 year old kid that wants to know absolutely everything about the world around him stared at that timer for 3 minutes and 35 seconds. Can't wait to come back and try more of the awesome menu!! Thanks

Their food is so good and always fresh! Not to be dramatic, but Bird Call is currently keeping me from starving while going through some pretty serious health issues as someone who also has food allergies. Although I was a regular prior to my bout of unfortunate medical events, their customer service and kindness have been instrumental in helping me recover. Steven (I hope my spelling is correct) as well as several other staff members have gone above and beyond on more than one occasion in ensuring my needs are met and my food is always fresh and delicious! The gluten free nuggets are so good and their ranch is up there with one of my favorites. I've recommended them to several people with gluten allergies and nobody has been disappointed. Even my friends without allergies have reported back and been extremely happy. The staff is always friendly, helpful and even my dog gets excited if we hit the drive through as they always have a pup cup waiting for her.

First time and not disappointed!! I was craving a chicken sandwich, got their deluxe, so yummy, they do to go orders easy and fast. Healthy options and good drinks!! Will definitely be coming here instead of Chick-fil-A

We are from Vail and came up for the game and staying nearby saw some rave Yelp reviews and decided to give Birdcall a try 10/10! We tried the Rancher and Deluxe Crispy and both were fantastic! Definitely suggest adding pickles! Also had a tot with the birdcall sauce also fantastic!! Service was great and dining room was very clean! They have great drink options as well! If we are up in the neighborhood again we will definitely make the stop!

Tough chicken. Brussels sprout salad was overpriced and not tasty. Nice place and friendly staff but tough chicken. Go to Hot chicken alley instead, waaaay better chicken, free ice cream, way cheaper and definitively mom and pop.

Trendy, bland and expensive. I ordered chicken sandwich combo and chicken nuggets. The nuggets looked like they had been waiting all day for a sucker like me to pick them up. Dry, crusty. I took them back even the worker at the counter commented "they look gross". Got a new batch. Tater tots OK. Chicken sandwich very average. Bun very dry. Chicken very dry, not juicy at all. Over $20 for this mess. Even the Diet Coke mix bad. Couldn't finish the meal. Won't be back.

Cute place, great self-serve dining concept, but it is expensive. We paid around $75 for 2 salads, 2 sodas, a chicken sandwich, fries, and kids nuggets. Service was super friendly and helpful. The food was good. So they just lose a star on price.

My son said we should try. We was in this part of town. Very clean place well laid out. Ordering was different. You order off a screen and then they call your number and you pick up from a window. I am not a fan of this type of ordering system. There are plenty of people cleaning the tables and floor. The food? It was chicken. Many different ways. Everyone was very satisfied with their meal. I will definitely eat here again if in the area. Really like the fresh look of the store. It is new.

Do not order the chickens nuggets! They were cold, had no flavor and were hard as a rock! My tater tots were over salted and cold too. I've given this place 2 tries and I won't be going back. Just go to canes for the price too

Oh my gosh, had the pleasure of ordering here on a whim, and was so delighted to see they have a vegetarian meat option. We had the southern chicken sandwich and the Buffalo. The southern is where it is at! It's a delicious combination of the sweet and savory mix. And their fries portion is huge, I couldn't even finish them all. New favorite go to for a good chicken sandwich! And the service is fast and quick, even has a drive though which is super helpful. And has great decor.

Such a great chicken sandwhich and we've only ever ordered it through door dash. I can't imagine how good it is fresh! No complaints here! Quality chicken, perfect amount of coated breading , soft bun and the tots are crispy even when we recieve them through to go !.

ordered two chicken sandwiches to go, got home and bit into the buffalo sandwich to find a piece of chicken that I can't even describe? It appears to be cooked, but it is so unbelievably tough and chewy, looks pink and the first bite had a fishy taste. So disappointed, usually this place is great. Not sure I can return as I feel sick after one bite.

Opening night! We've been waiting for a chicken sandwich place without all the weirdness. Yay! It was not only delicious but the whole vibe was vibrant, colorful, happy, fresh and clean. My wife and I both loved it!

Background...I was able to try the food before they opened and check out the set up, everything was delicious, I really loved how bright and open the restaurant space was. Pleasantly surprised to see frosé, and beer on tap along with all the different chicken offerings. But this review isn't about that, this review is about me going back when they did open with my mom, and then popping in for some chicken tenders and frosé a couple nights ago. When I went with my mom, I knew that she wanted something healthy, so she got the grilled chicken Caesar sandwich, which she said was really good. Instead of getting something fried as a side we both got one of their specialty sides, She got a brussels sprout slaw, and I had the Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich along with a side of buffalo blue cheese coleslaw. So good. The iced teas were really good too. We had no issues with ordering on the touchpad, people were always popping over to make sure that we were good to go. I love that there's a big screen that shows you when your food is going to be ready and where to pick it up at. The second time I went, was this Wednesday, after an event, I was starving, I decided to order the five piece chicken tenders, and I got a couple extra sauces on the side and then I ordered a frosé. I love their chicken tenders because they're not just wimpy boring tenders of chicken, they've got crunch, they've got flavor, and they are hearty. Once again, very nice staff, very attentive, and good about seeing if we had questions or needed anything. As an introvert, I don't need to be talking to a ton of people, I like to go to a touchpad, go through the menu, select everything the way I want it. Welcome to the neighborhood! Really good chicken sandwiches and fries. The chicken breast is all white meat. Big portion fried to a perfect crisp. The staff was super friendly at the drive-through. I will definitely recommend trying them out.

I understand the chicken sandwich space is full...but this place is hands down the best for one. The original 10 out of 10. The chicken cesar 10 out of 10. The tots 10 out of 10. These aren't your ordinary tots either. They are seasoned to perfection. Service is wonderful as well.

Food was great with quick service! I will say it was difficult to tell the BirdBQ and the Birdcall sauce apart. Both seemed like slightly sweeter versions of Cane's Caniac sauce, they weren't bad, just very similar. The chicken tenders, tots and fries were all on the spot and we are looking forward to trying other items on the menu now this is in the neighborhood!

Nashville extra hot was a joke, maybe 2/10 hot. Nuggets, tots, and sauce selection was decent. Overall underwhelming and expensive.

You walk in, walk up to a screen and swipe your credit card... before you even order! Then, if you want a receipt, it can only be texted or emailed. Information gathering and selling at its best! Chicken was okay. About the same as Chick-fil-A and canes. Nothing extravagant. Was disappointed.

The margaritas are so good. Sometimes a pre-made frozen margarita hardly has any tequila and is way too sweet. NOT the case at Birdcall, it is frozen perfection. The Nashville chicken is the perfect blend of heat and sweetness. The staff is beyond accommodating. Highly recommend!

Cool up beat spot! Came in to a kiosk (not my favorite) however Savannah was a rockstar. She didn't rush me and was very polite! I appreciated the help. It is busy and they play good music. While sitting there AJ came over a couple time to check on us and offer boxes she is so sweet! This is a great addition to our neighborhood.

Not even close to the correct order in the to-go line. How do you mess up that bad? How's that possible? How could you trust them to even know how to use the fryer or that they wash their hands after they use the restroom? Insane screw up. Do you know how badly that reflects on your business?
