This review is a shout out for an amazing employee at this location, Paul! Mid workday, I was craving their delicious french fries and ranch dressing… Paul was kind enough to take care of me and as a pregnant, hormonal woman… His act of kindness made me emotional! Appreciate stellar customer Service and he is the epitome of that.

Swung through the drive thru today to grab a quick lunch. The employee working the drive thru could not have been nicer. Yes, it's pricey for fast food, but the sandwiches are fresh made and the chicken is always fabulous.

I was very disappointed in the quality of my food and service, especially since this business has been hyped up to me by locals and other people that live in the area. I came by later at night looking for a little snack and I definitely got that. I just think the quality of the food and the taste of the food we’re very subpar, it was very greasy and just nasty. My fries definitely were not fresh. The only good thing that came out of my visit was the Dr Pepper, which is hard to mess up. I’m a big chicken lover. I like Hattie B’s in Nashville. I like Chick-fil-A. I like Dave’s hot chicken I even like a chicken place in Salt Lake City, but this place was overpriced and disgusting.Will definitely not be going back.

I love coming here every time I’m in town! The chicken is always fresh, crispy, and perfectly cooked. And the Mediterranean salad? Lately, it’s become my absolute favorite. The service is always amazing too — fast, friendly, and attentive. Particularly Joel or Goryi, they always go above and beyond to make sure everything is just right. Highly recommend!

This is easily some of the worst food I’ve had. The chicken was small, dry, and hard. The coleslaw had minimal dressing and tasted off. The tots tasted like they were cooked in old grease and were soggy. I had to crisp them up in the air fryer. The dipping sauce was good, but that’s it. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I will not return.

I went for a drive thru and it only took a few minutes for my food. Service was great! The Nashville Sandwich was 8/10 SPICY but really good! I had the Brussels sprouts salad which I liked very much as well!

Birdcall here was pretty good! They had a good amount of seating, friendly and fast staff, clean, and location was great! The chicken tenders were tasty and the fries were great. They did get my shake wrong though it was the same price and was delicious, they also were weak on the fry portion which was why I gave away a star. Overall, a good Birdcall location in the DU area! Would recommend.

What an awesome experience. In Denver for soccer. Needed a light lunch and had to do some work. The wonderful man working (seemed like a manager but not sure) just saw that everything was perfect. I was locked in on my tablet and realized I was holding my hand up to block sun coming in the window, then noticed shade coming down. He had gone outside and lowered the shade. Never said a word. Just noticed I needed something. Superb customer service at this awesome spot. Thank you!

This is the best chicken fast food I've ever had. It beats canes, chick fil a, and Popeyes (all are delicious by the way). But try this place at least twice for: - sandwich (nashville or whatever) - tenders (best thing on the menu) Enjoy!

Went through the drive thru and that is the reason for 3 stars. Two cars in front of me but it took over 10 minutes. Ordered the Nashville Hot chicken tenders and they were great! Tender and juicy! Hotter than I expected. The sriachi sauce was good. I'll try it again but maybe go inside the next time.

Been wanting to try this place for a while. Pretty happy with the selection and a good quality sandwich. Service was also pleasant and quick. I'd say the 4 stars is just that nothing really wowed me. Chicken on the sandwich wasn't huge. Sauces were good, but not really what I expected. Not a five star experience.

Southern sandwich is great. Chicken was a tad over, but the coleslaw made up for it. Fries were crisp but could've used more salt. But I also didn't get a sauce or anything. Coconut soda is delicious. They also have a cool system that shows when your order is gonna be ready, but it actually came out early.

Came here for quick lunch with my best friend after running some errands, and it was just what we needed. Even though you order and pay on a kiosk, the human customer service is fantastic. I got a Buffalo sandwich and fries with a Margarita - next time we'll have to come during happy hour - everything was delicious! The Margarita was perfectly boozy, the Buffalo sandwich was sufficiently spicy, and the fries were well-seasoned. If you're looking for upscale "fast food" Birdcall is it!!

Stopped in for a quick lunch/early dinner today. It is good, very very good. From the fresh and clean interior, to the very efficient ordering system, to the staff who were very friendly in answering our questions -- it was a treat. And then the food... it IS very very good. Husband had the Muffuletta chicken sandwich, a creation of chopped olive mix with the fried chicken, add some salami. So good -- he loved it. And I loved my Cobb Salad. Very fresh veggies, great blue cheese dressing, and I added some of the fried chicken (since I hadn't tasted it before). We had an order of french fries for good measure. They were the skinny kind I love. It was all great. We'll be back for sure!

If you've been here before, you may be disappointed when you get your sandwich now and it's the size of a slider. No joke. Ours were like 1/2 the size they used to be and cost the same. Am I right Birdcall?

The place is clean with a nice outdoor seating area. The tater tots are great and the Shakes are good. I wasn't thrilled with my Buffalo sandwich but the regular was my favorite. Service is pleasant. I find the Nashville super hot but people love it.

Nasty hard chicken. Inedible. If I was served this inside the resturant I'd go back up and have it remade but I ordered delivery. And my sauces I laid extra for weren't in the bag.

Stopped into Birdcall because my friend was next door grabbing vegan food. I was thrown off a little bit by the ordering. I wasn't greeted ot anything so I had to interrupt everybody as they were preparing food for orders. I'm not sure if they take cash , you have to slide your credit card or debit card to order on their little digital pads, it was a little confusing. It was only confusing because it was my very first time, and I have to say I wasn't impressed. I ordered tots and they tasted good. They tasted like regular tater tots. I ordered two milkshakes and those were just fine too. Everything came out correctly but I probably won't be back, it just wasn't my thing. I hope that others will enjoy ordering the chicken here and chicken sandwiches. Nothing horrible went wrong and nothing over the top made me rave about this place so I wish you good luck.

First time here and it's fantastic. Love the Nashville extra hot. Fries were pretty good as well. Will definitely be back when I'm in this part of town again.

Ehhh.... I have given this location several shots now and there's almost always something off. The bad: I get the Meati patty and it's usually squishy, sometimes even cold in the center. There's no option to order it well done. Staff are not sympathetic to things like flat soda, broken cookies, and undercooked food. It's almost $1 to add items to a sandwich like pinch of shredded lettuce, a sauce, or pickles. The good: Salads can be okay to good, slaw is tasty, and the fries are great if you eat them quickly -- but they're skinny and get cold fast. Good beverages, soft and hard. The employees are friendly when you can reach them, and there's plenty of outdoor seating.

The Spicy SzechYuan at Birdcall lives up to the hype. If you haven't seen it on social media this is it and I stopped by one of the Bircalls to try it out and OMG the sweet honey coleslaw with that scallion Kewpie mayo and then the extra crispy fried chicken with the chili oil .

Like Chick-Fil-a but spiced up some more??? This place will always win in that battle. Their chicken sandwiches are usually compared to chick-fil-a but overall the sandwiches here have WAY more diverse options. I love their grilled chicken Cesar sandwich with tots. Also, want a refreshing alcoholic beverage? They serve that here too.

Fun Fact: Each Birdcall location gives 1% back to a local community organization. It's been a pleasure to watch this local, all natural chicken sandwich spot expand through the 303 and open stores in other states. I stopped by for a quick dinner and ordered all of my favorites. * Southern~crispy chicken, pimento cheese, and southern coleslaw Tots~some of the best I've had Side Salad with Ranch Dressing~I ordered this to make a balanced meal since I also got... Cookies and Cream Milkshake~their shakes are soooooo thick and delicious. The service was quick and friendly. Ordering from the screens is also super easy.

Food is great! Sam & Manfred made it delicious. Not much inside seating though. Great service

I hate to be harsh but the food was absolutely terrible today! I'll admit I should have probably got a sandwich instead of nuggets but they were burned and so chewy I couldn't even bit into them. And I'm sorry but 15 bucks for nuggets and fries... I was super excited to try this place and seriously couldn't even manage to eat hardly any of it.

Drive thru order. My chicken sandwich did not have a top bun. The pickles were thrown around the container. The bottom bun was a frozen after thought. Disappointed. The original one downtown was amazing. Tater tots were excellent. But not worth the cost to go back.

The chicken sandwich was good but for the low carb lettuce wrap option I wish they would use iceberg lettuce instead of romaine because trying to eat a sandwich with romaine lettuce as the "buns" is a very messy ordeal. I like how Burger-Fi does their Green Style sandwiches using iceberg lettuce.

This was my first time at Birdcall. I ordered a buffalo sandwich "combo" with tots and a soda. Seeing the price of the sandwich wasn't bad, $8.75, but the whole combo was around $16.50. I don't know why tots and a 16 oz soda could cost almost as much as the sandwich I ordered, but maybe I need to look more into how they make their tots. Maybe everything is a la carte but they call it a "combo" to throw you off? I don't know. I used the drive thru so I didn't get to see the inside of the store. After getting the order, there was maybe 15 minutes max from the time I picked up the food to when I sat down and ate it at home. I say this because when I bit into the chicken sandwich, everything about it was cold. The tots were also cold, but the seasoning was tasty. I wouldn't expect my meal to be piping hot because of the drive home, but it being as cold as it was convinced me that the food wasn't fresh. Overall, as much as I know that Birdcall is local and gives back to the community, I'm hard pressed to come back when I know I could get better food elsewhere.

I've been a couple times and the chicken is juicy, the staff is friendly and they have tots. I am missing the mark on something because the sauce or toppings is a little off for me. It's a bit expensive at $20 for a drive thru lunch. The good news for you is that I'll be one less person in line so you'll get your order faster.

Assessment and plan: 3.5-4/5. Good flavor, worth a try. $30 for original with veggies/slaw, Nashville hot with veggies, fries, side salad. Filling. Not sure if this classified as fast food or standalone shop so not sure to what level of standard I should be expecting. Inside and bathrooms are clean and stylish- paying for the experience. Lacked in execution of details (lukewarm temp, miss of sauce, all these trivial extra add-ons costing extra). Wouldn't come back regularly. Details: Good flavor with the original- added on veggies and slaw so it was quite juicy. Soft buns Nashville hot isn't really spicy- some extra flavor of tangy and a tinge of spice, but not really. If wanting spicy, could go for the extra hot. Ordered two sauces on the side but never got the sauce. Realized after we finished the sandwich /: Good taste and texture for the fries, but came out lukewarm. Ketchup was tangy, which I liked. Side salad as expected. Was supposed to come with a tangy ranch sauce- not sure if the ranch itself is supposed to be tangy vs a separate "tangy ranch". Just tasted like ranch! Got a ginger vinaigrette which was interestingly red-orange but tasty. Ooh tasty fried quinoa option. Clean and stylish interior and bathrooms! With lotion after you wash. Strange to have a foot pull door when you still have to unlock and turn the handle to open the door...

Decided to come here for lunch on Sunday because chick fil a is closed. I know there's a couple other spots but this one was smaller and more of a pickup area. They had cute seating inside and outside but definitely not huge. The ordering process is simplified with an iPad and an easy tracking system. The two sandwiches with fries were done in less than 10 minutes. The sandwiches? Well WOW, I've never had chicken that actually melted in my mouth. I love bacon onion jam so that was great. There is a wide selection of sauces which were all delicious. I can't wait to come back!

I love this place. The Nashville Hot sandwich in extra hot is my favorite. It has sweet pickles on it and the flavors work really well together. I can't bring myself to order anything else, but one day will try the other offerings. The tater tots are delightful as well. I'm not into their sauces, but think the tots have such great seasoning that ketchup is all they need.

You can't go wrong with this Birdcall. Everything about it is a 10/10, if perfect exists it would be this. Been going to Birdcall for quite some time now because it's one of the "healthier fast food options" out there and it truly doesn't exude such an unwelcoming environment and ghetto. Like Taco Bell or I don't know.. waffle house. Birdcall is the shit and always will be, worth it for the price and I want to point out that if you want great service talk to Ashley and Josh. They were so kind and welcoming and not like that pretentious customer service either. Genuine employees who deserve a raise, i always seen them working there and they are the best, i think we all need that more than ever is that little connection and they did just that. This spot has terrible service and the food is mids. If you want to wait 20 mins for some fried chicken that is cold you might like this place.....

Overpriced, and underwhelming. I know it's hard to find a fast food meal under $15 these days, but I thought this place might be worth the money since it seems like a novel place. I did the drive-through and the staff seemed nice enough. I got the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich meal, and pulled away. The tots were fresh and good, but when I opened the sandwich I found nothing but a meager piece of chicken on a bun. The first bite was juicy, but the rest of the sandwich was completely dry. Good flavor, but really dry and underwhelming. I won't be going back, will just go to chik fil a next time for a consistently great piece of juicy chicken.

Back again just to update that I still absolutely love this location. Easily some of the nicest people you'll ever meet! The food is always amazing at this location and very fresh, with lots of gluten free options which I love!

Wow what a gem! We didn't know what else to eat so we decided to try out this chicken sandwich place. Everything was on point - flavor, seasoning, quality, texture, service, pricing. Nothing was unpleasant! Highly recommend!

If you want dry chicken, this is the place to be. I couldn't even finish my meal, the iced tea was warm and bland and did not quench the thirst caused by that chicken. The flavors were subpar. The atmosphere is nice with the geometric design and plants, but the whole store is otherwise small and cold and not great. Service was fine.

Food is usually good but reason for review is the staff. One young female in particular (didn't get her name but she's got braces) who has served me multiple times has been incredibly rude and has gotten our order wrong every time. I believe she is the one who took the order and then handed it to us each time. Between scoffing at requests, not speaking clearly/saying things under her breath, general grumpy attitude, not apologizing for incorrect order, I don't want to return to this location. Would love to give 5 starts but unfortunate the one staff I've met is this grumpy. Downtown and Lakewood location have been great with 0 complaints.

Ordered delivery because someone told me they had "the best" chicken tenders. Would have to agree that they're pretty solid! The "Bird-B-Q" sauce is excellent! I live in Scottsdale, Arizona and Birdcall opened a location there this year but I haven't had the opportunity to try it yet. I did learn a lot about it in the local media. The eatery's chicken is sourced directly from Colorado family farms, and their bread comes from a Colorado baking company. Even their spices are sourced from a Denver firm. You can find a list of Birdcall's local partners on their website. Birdcall is also trying its hand at zero-waste. I really appreciate this focus on local in a time of climate change. It's odd to focus so much on the background of a chicken restaurant but it's important these days!

We have driven past this specific location several times and my boyfriend has been dying to try it. We finally decided to give it a shot last night. Pulling into the parking lot we were rather confused because it's not really a parking lot? Every space is for a pick up order, so we went and parked on an alternative street and walked over. We were also then rather surprised when we walked in and realized it is completely self sufficient and you order from a machine and not a person. The combo's didn't really seem like combo's to us and it actually ended up being cheaper to order our "entree" and then a side then do the combo option. My boyfriend got the southern chicken sandwich and I got the 5-piece tenders both with a side of fries. We both agreed that the chicken at other fast food places (Raising Canes & Chick-fil-a) is better quality, but liked the diversity this place had to offer, and by no means was the chicken bad! I actually also got a nice surprise as I was given 7 chicken tenders opposed to 5 but only paid the price for 5! The food was also CRAZY FAST. We ordered and I swear we walked outside and it was ready. We did decide if we return we could probably share a side of fries instead of both getting our own.

The workers were so nice. I was in and out of there pretty fast!! Manfred and Ashley do such a great job!!

Love Birdcall. It's one of the few spots that always delivers our orders quickly, and is always correct. We love the chopped salad (we add grilled chicken) for a satisfying but reasonably healthy meal. We often order tots and fingers "for the table." To get out fried fix and to have a meal or snack for later. The milkshakes are delicious. My daughter gets the regular sized ones and I get the kid size since that's how our metabolisms work. They have lots of different sauces to try, but our favorite is the Birdcall BBQ. Definitely give them a try in person or for delivery!

Just had the best service with Paul! He was so helpful and accommodating and went out of his way to make our experience beyond what we expected! And the food matched his quality of care!

Thank you Josue and Jeffrey for hooking me up with a gas buffalo chicken sandwich, I would definitely recommend getting it with the southern slaw instead of the blue cheese slaw. 10/10 for the sandwich, tots, and margarita. Bless up birdcall

By far the worst Nashville chicken sandwich I have EVER had!! For one the chicken was really dry and not to mention it tasted like straight up old grease. Couldn't even finish it what a waste of my time and money!!

This is such a joke. Third time I've been back forgot half of my meal after waiting 20 minutes with no one in line or at the store ordering. I get it's made fresh but how can you continue to not check orders before handing it out at the drive thru. Such a joke, last time I'm coming here no more chances from me.

Good fast casual place where you order via tablet. Chicken is excellent. Great flavor, prepared properly, balanced well with the bun. Fries are good too. Not a big fan of the Sir Hensington ketchup packs - try the Elevation from the pump or the Heinz packs. Soda also was not great but they do have lemonade, tea, and beer on tap. Many chicken options plus a kids menu with nuggets and chicken strips.

I ordered 5 tenders today and they gave me 6! What a nice surprise. I enjoy how speedy the service is at this location. I have never had a bad experience here when picking up in person.

Last two times I ate here the chicken has been extremely dry, almost burnt. It was consistently dry in 2 sandwiches and an order of tenders on both visits. Can't be a chicken place (more expensive than other options) and not be able to deliver on the chicken. I used to love it, but times have changed. Also feel the portions have diminished significantly recently.

Honestly I'm pretty excited about the exploding chicken scene in denver. I stumbled by Bird Call on my way to work and had to try it out. I ordered an original chicken sandwich and a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Man, both were incredibly delicious and filling. Fried chicken with the perfect batter might possibly be my favorite thing in the world. Bird call definitely does it right. The Nashville hot chicken comes with hot and super hot options. The hot packed a pretty good punch, so go up at our own discretion. This location also has a drive thru so you can get your chicken to go like the other competitors. Don't forget the ketchup! Check them out if you're in the area.
