Google
We noted the glowing reviews for the birdhouse - and it did not disappoint Located in the middle of page- its a old drive through that has been converted into a sitdown restaurant - there is parking but for a around 20 cars but these can be tight for very large SUV/ trucks. We ordered 3 pieces of chicken to try all the flavours original, honey mustard, and spicy chicken with a chicken burger along side a assortment of sides- chips, coleslaw & broccoli all coming to around 37 dollars. The chips were well seasoned and cooked well with a generous portion size and coleslaw was great 👍🏽 the broccoli however was pretty average The chicken was slimply incredible- the skin was crispy and thigh pieces tender - we loved the original and spicy pieces but all three were tasty. They give you a bottle of their ranch and honey mustard sauce with each order which was a nice touch All in all very good fried chicken- would come back again!

Absolutely delicious! Meat was cooked perfectly and juicy! Flavors were great! Mac and cheese was so good! Not that crappy kids mac! Breading was yummy. Well seasoned. Everyone devoured the special sauce and couldn’t get enough of it! I bet they would make bank selling the sauce! Would definitely recommend coming here! Can handle large groups too.

Google
Birdhouse was so good! The chicken came out perfectly crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside, with just the right amount of spice to give it a kick without being overwhelming. The flavors were bold and addictive, and I kept wanting more. The place has a fun, casual vibe that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your food. Service was friendly and quick, which made the whole experience even better. If you love fried chicken that is crunchy, spicy, and packed with flavor, this is the place to go.

Google
We got an eight-piece family meal. It came with 2 breasts, 2 wings, 2 drumsticks and 2 thighs, along with two sides - Mac n cheese and fries. We ordered an extra side Broccoli salad. The chicken was over-fried a bit but the flavor was good. There were a lot of fries. I was disappointed with broccoli salad and mac n cheese. They were not so fresh. The donut holes were ok, nothing special. It’s mostly self-serve after I placed my order at the counter. The price was a bit expensive. Overall, it’s not a place I would go back to.

This is probably the best fried chicken I’ve ever had!! Tried the spicy and original. Both amazing!! The homemade sauces are plentiful and delicious. Food comes out super fast, and it’s very reasonably priced. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE IF YOURE IN THE AREA!

Google
Neat spot to stop for lunch while on vacation. It has an old school drive-in diner feel but offers lots of seating, both inside and outside. You order inside. The restroom is at the back of the building accessible from outside. They even offer daiquiri options and a selection of beer. The fried chicken comes in either original, very spicy (6/10), or honey butter (glaze). We got the #1 which is 1 breast and 1 wing. The chicken was very crispy and very juicy! Very good!! My husband, who doesn't really like fried chicken, loved it. He said the mashed potatoes w/gravy were good. I didn't care for the Mac n cheese, it had a sharp taste to it and while definitely creamy, you couldn't taste the noodles - probably a personal preference thing. The donut holes with Nutella and strawberry sauce were good. That strawberry sauce was fantastic!

Google
It was a nice experience and I‘d come again for some wings. Would not order the Mac n Cheese again though; low quality. That being said, I do relate to the reviews on both ends of the spectrum. Yes, the tables are sticky and yes, the chicken is perfectly cooked. It’s nothing special, but it’s definitely alright. Service was super nice and beer cold. I don’t get the reasonably priced part either. Paid like 60 bucks for a chicken, 2 sides and 2 beers.

Alright you guys, this was our best food experience in Page and one of the best fried chicken experiences ever! If you have one place to check out in Page, this is it. The restaurant has a shack/drive in vibe to it. They have parking all around and I bet it can become busy enough to find a spot. We came here on Sunday afternoon and found a spot quite easily. You order at the counter and then take a seat. All the servers are friendly and quick with service. We ordered the half chicken (leg, thigh, breast, wing) with spicy seasoning and seasoned fries. For two people, this is plenty. The other parties were ordering waaay more food and ended up taking quite a bit home. The fried chicken came fresh off the fryer. It was very very very good - thin crunchy breading, well-cooked soft chicken on the inside and the seasoning wasn't too spicy. They give you a sweet mayo based and a savory mayo based sauce with the chicken too. When they say half chicken, they mean half chicken exactly. Everything on the leg, thigh, breast and wing is yours to eat! The fries were decent too, but we would have liked more spice on them. Our price tag was like $18 with taxes for two people. We were super full at the end of the meal. We loved the vibe. We loved the food. We loved everything about this small but super successful joint. I wish you guys were in my hometown, but I also don't because I would never eat anything else! The only major drawback is that they only have canned beer, nothing on draft. Having said that, the Grand Canyon Brewery is right across the road, so it isn't like you can't grab a drink there.

Yelp
This place has the highest amount of stars in Page so we had to try it out. It's easy to find with the large chicken in the front! We got in and were greeted right away and she told us how to order. Very friendly and helpful. I got the honey butter tenders with pickles on the side. My husband got the spicy leg and thigh I think. He also got a regular flavor leg and thigh. All were very good. However, I might have liked the original flavor the best! They also give two dressings which are great to dip your fries and chicken in. The homemade pickles of carrots and cucumber were so good too. This is a very simple menu but you can tell they do it well. Glad we got to try this place out!

Yelp
We just wrapped up a 6 day vacation visiting Lake Powell/Page. We enjoyed this place so much we ate here twice. We ordered the 10 pcs chicken tender family meal. For our sides we got fries and mac cheese. The food came out really fast. The chicken was moist and perfectly cooked. Fries seasoned well. Mac and Cheese was amazing. Despite it being 102 degrees outside. The fans with misters felt amazing. It was actually hotter inside.

Yelp
I have been eyeing this place for awhile when I drive through Page. It has a big cute chicken and looks like a drive through but has an indoor and outdoor seating area. We got here right as they opened and the place was PACKED. You order at the counter inside and they bring you your food. Everyone was incredibly friendly and probably the best service I've received in awhile, especially from the younger kids working there. The outside is big and has lots of seatings and misters. It's also nicely shaded! I had the 3 piece chicken tenders. I mixed the spicy and honey sauce, which they recommended and it was phenomenal. It was very spicy but still had flavor. The honey gave it a mild sweetness but it was so flavorful and well seasoned. The chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy, not dry. It was good quality cuts of white meat. I also got the potatoes and gravy on the side, which was my person favorite part of the meal. The potatoes were perfect to dip the fries in. The fries were also the BEST. Crinkle fries that were perfectly crispy and seasoned. So good. My husband had the chicken sandwich with the same sauce as me and really liked it! The Mac and cheese was also DELICIOUS! Highly recommend.

Yelp
I didn't go here but my hubby picked dinner up after we checked in to our temporary quarters. I was nervous due to the mixed reviews, but this was delicious! I had the combo with a full wing & breast, broccoli salad on the side. Everything was fresh, chicken was juicy - greasy, sure, but it's fried chicken! Great flavors and it was ready quickly, my hubby said the service was very pleasant. We'd certainly come back!

Yelp
Solid spot for a casual meal while in Page! My fiance and I stopped here for a quick lunch just before noon and luckily it wasn't completely packed yet, though the place was already bustling with people. We ordered at the counter and our food came out fairly quickly afterwards. I had the original chicken sandwich which was quite good -- the chicken was pretty big in size, and it was crispy on the outside while being juicy on the inside. My fiance got the spicy wings with a side of broccoli salad; this was good overall and the spicy flavor definitely had some kick. The broccoli salad was also nice and refreshing as a side to all the fried chicken.

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
If you visit Page and don't eat at the BirdHouse, you're missing out. Ordered the chicken sandwich (spicy) and a side of fries. Portions are huge--two of us shared this order and it was still too much. This is, hands down, the best chicken sandwich I've ever eaten in my life. Sat on the (dog friendly) patio in the rain. Yes, it was worth it. Just eat here.

Yelp
The BirdHouse is a good restaurant to grab delicious fried chicken. My son and I went here for lunch. It was a busy place. The ordering was at the counter and food was brought to the table. Their menu had a nice variety and the pricing was reasonable. I ordered a two-piece spicy fried chicken meal with broccoli & bacon salad and a soft drink and my son ordered a wings meal with honey sauce wings and fries. The food came out shortly. The chicken was hot and fresh. Same thing with the fries. They were cooked properly too. My spicy chicken was juicy and crispy. Their fried chicken was flavorful and cooked properly so the texture was good as well. The spicy taste was just right. They serve We sat on the patio. The weather was nice. We received good service. It's a family run business. The father-daughter duo were frequently attending to the patrons to ensure that everyone was enjoying their meal and experience. I really liked this place and would go back when in Page.

Yelp
The chicken tasted like it should but not a fan of how they offer the sauces. While we were placing our order she was refilling containers of the sauces. Emptying containers together to fill them using a dirty rag on each one. All the while taking our order and payment. Yuck. She must of seen my look and said "I assure you it is safe" Right..... So that makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is. That was really a turn off and they need to "clean" it up. We ordered broccoli salad with our chicken and as soon as you took off the lid you could smell it was bad. Waste of money for the sides. This is very casual at this drive-in eatery. Beware.

Yelp
Yeah.... This place is amazing. I'd hope I'd know a thing or two about fried chicken after growing up in the South. The chicken is wonderfully tender and the outer fry is FRESH AF. We were served in a few minutes, even with 5-10 people in line ahead of us. Didn't expect much going in but was pleasantly surprised!

Yelp
We came here hungry after a day of hiking in the heat. The staff was very helpful and knows most people are tourists. Our food came out pretty quick and tasted so good! I loved the honey butter flavor on the chicken and the ranch and house sauce were very good. Left feeling full. Plenty of outdoor seating and on hot days they have fans with misters! The staff checked in on us multiple times and gave us an extra chicken tender :)
google avatar

Ricardo N.

Yelp
I was recommended this place from a tour guide he said it was good food. I came here and restaurant atmosphere was ok nothing special. The chicken was ok different breading when deep fried. The chicken really didn't have and flavor and the sides weren't flavorful neither. The coleslaw tasted different not your traditional coleslaw and by different I mean no flavor . The Macaroni and cheese did not taste cheesy at all and I don't understand the bread crumbs on top because it didn't add any taste to it. Definitely not your traditional fried chicken southern style food. I'm not sure if that's what I was expecting but overall it wasn't a bad place to eat.

Yelp
A little off the main highway but worth the drive. Parking is tight so don't try to park an RV here. Ordered a Brest and wing with the honey butter coating. Wife ordered the 3 piece tenders. Both were great. The actually gave us an extra Breast and an extra tender for free. I had a hard time finishing just the one and the wife did not eat the 4th tender as it was a lot of food as it was. I did not care for the coleslaw but that is just my personal preference.

Yelp
No complaints at all on the service. I thought the team was polite and efficient. This place ONLY serves chicken, hence the name. There are 3 chicken options to choose from original, Spicy, and Butter. The menu represents spicy using three to denote it ain't nothing to mess with, but according to my travel companion, it didn't have much kick to it. We both agreed that heat, like taste, is all relative! Which brings me to my next point.... The chicken was not at all flavorful. It required SALT and pepper, which I used wayyy more than I'd otherwise prefer. I ordered a thigh and discovered the order came with 2 pieces, so for the price, you'll get lots of food! This place has high reviews, but again, my companion and I concluded it had less to do with the quality of the food, and perhaps the experience level of those being served. I'd give it a max of 3.

Yelp
We were driving in from Vegas and starving! We got there at 837 and were hoping for good service (they close at 9). The young men running the place did not disappoint! We got the spicy strips, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and French fries The strips- delish! The dipping sauce was also really good. The mashed potatoes- yummy, reminded me of KFC. The Mac, neh not a fan. They were out of coleslaw, sad day. The place looks like a converted sonic, some seating inside and more outside. As we were eating they came by and gave us a side of the house made pickles... sooo good. I love the carrots. 10/10, would totes come back!!

Yelp
I might be exaggerating but this is one of the most tasty fried chicken I have ever tried in my entire life! I went back again before leaving the area cause I wasn't sure if I would taste this again in the near future!!! Must try when you visit Page (Horseshoe Bend or Antelope Canyon).
google avatar

Alla L.

Yelp
The Birdhouse was one of the highlights of our trip to see antelope canyon. The place is unassuming on the outside but such a cozy atmosphere inside. The chicken is so good and portions are big. I loved that I could customize chicken legs only for my little guy. The prickly pear margaritas hit the spot and service was friendly and fast. I recommend going before the rush to snag a good seat. It can get busy! I would come back for sure if in the area!

Yelp
The wife and I are tourists to AZ, UT and several other states and national parks while on our 3.5 week, 5k mile trip! This chicken place stands out, even after eating at dozens of restaurants recently! Their chicken is AMAZING! I ordered the spicy #2 and the wife got the honey butter #1. Both were fried to crispy perfection with great flavors! The sides consisted of Mac n cheese and crinkle fries! Staff was super nice, checking on us and clearing out table, despite this being more of a fast food place! I wish I could give more than five stars !!!
google avatar

Marco L.

Yelp
Good fried Chicken place. Very small inside seating area. Food comes out very fast. Fried chicken is very crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We ordered half regular and half spicy. Wish they would marinate the spicy ones , instead just spicy powder on the outside. However their homemade sauces makes them better. fries could be a little bit more crispier, a little bit too salty.
google avatar

Yelp
Had the three piece (fries as the side) and the chicken sandwich. Original recipe for the three piece. So good. Fries amazing too. Servers kind and helpful. I'm eating here next time I drive thru Page.

Yelp
Holy Chicken this place is good ! Amazing fried chicken, and the French fries were absolutely delicious! To top things off..... Kiki was amazing and he made our dinner extra special ! Such a fine young gentlemen ! Oh I forgot .... The cold Budweisers hit the spot !

Yelp
The chicken was very tasty and delicious. The sides were also good. Service was quick. It's a casual dining place, but the food was good.

Yelp
One of the best chicken tenders I have ever tried! Not because we were hungry weary travelers who would eat anything before going to the hotel and calling it a night. We loved this place because our tenders were juicy, fresh, hot and delicious. Portions are huge! I wish we had one in LA. The servers were nice efficient and attentive. They have both indoor and outdoor seats which we embraced because inside was too crowded. They also have plenty of parking.
google avatar

Natalie G.

Yelp
Wow.. Just wow. Everything about this place is amazing. The chicken, the sauces, everything! I love the fact they give you your own squeeze bottle to take to the table. Too many times have I been to a restaurant where you have to pay extra for sauces and it just turns me off. This place? I wish I lived here so I could come here again and again. The service is amazing, too! We had our food delivered to us outside and the guy came out again to check on everyone and take our trash. I also really appreciate that they let the employees dress how they want and let them have their personal style. It adds to the family/homey feel of this place. A special thank you to the guy in the red bucket hat working 6-2-25. Sorry I didn't catch his name, but he is very friendly! We sat outside and it was just such a vibe. Love this place! Thank you Bird House!

Yelp
We visited Birdhouse right when they opened at 11 a.m. and had a fantastic experience. We ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, homemade pickles, and French fries. You place your order at the counter, and they bring the food out to your table. Since the weather was nice, we chose to sit outside. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was great! They even bused our table while we were still seated, which was a nice touch. We enjoyed our meal so much that we considered coming back again during our trip but, unfortunately, ran out of time. By the time we left (after eating our meal), the place was packed; definitely a good sign! Highly recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
What a fun experience! Parking was a bit tricky because it was so busy, but we were able to find street parking down the block. This place was hopping with energy, inside and out. The line was very long but surprisingly steady. The servers were very friendly and efficient and our party of nine were actually able to order and eat within an hour! The chicken is fantastic, original and Wilma's even more phenomenal with the butter honey---YUM! They give a boat load of French fries. This is a fun experience while visiting Page!
google avatar

Thuha N.

Yelp
We got in to town a little later than expected, many restaurants already closed, so this seems like a great option before star gazing! Wow, they know their chicken! Perfectly crispy and tasty. We read that fries were seasoned, they are not - that's the only 'complaint' I have. We ordered all the sides, pickled veggies is the overall favorite. Super quick service too! We also appreciated cold water coolers.
google avatar

Susan M.

Yelp
Damn good fried chicken And the sides were delish, broccoli/bacon and creamy Cole slaw. Cole slaw is always the tell. if you can't make good Cole slaw, forget it. We took it back to the hotel for dinner. Can't miss it - giant chicken outside.
google avatar

Deborah ..

Yelp
Great chicken tenders, mac and cheese, and fries! Awesome flavor and crispy texture. The Mac and cheese was sooooooo good! It got super busy right after opening, we got there at 11:05 and the line was already long! A popular spot for sure!
google avatar

RaeLynn C.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the portions were very plentiful. We had the spicy, original and honey butter. I loved the honey butter and my husband loves the original. He had the spicy on our first visit and loved it but it was pretty spicy (7 out of 10). Chase was a friendly and engaging guy and made the experience there even better. The only thing I would recommend is to clean the spouts on the water barrels and probably the water barrels themselves.
google avatar

Mei T.

Yelp
The rooster outside caught our eye, so we decided on dinner here. We ordered the large 12-piece family meal, half original, half honey butter, that came with 2 sides. We also ordered all of the other side dishes so we could try them all. It was a lot of food for 4 adults, 1 teen, and 1 kid. We couldn't finish it, but put in a really good dent! The fried chicken were extra crispy and both flavors were really flavorful. The skin was a bit on the darker side so I was worried the meat might be dried out, but it wasn't. The breast meat was actually very juicy! This is a great place to visit if you like crispy fried chicken. Of the sides, we liked the crinkle cut fries, homemade pickles, and broccoli salad. The mashed potatoes were ok, coleslaw was a bit too wet, and the mac n cheese was grainy and had a weird taste. Do not order the mac n cheese! This is one of those places where you order and pay at the counter and they bring food out to your table. Once you're done, you clear your table or they can clear it for you.
google avatar

Ashley B.

Yelp
Chicken was okay, just over the top greasy. Asked if the mashed potatoes were homemade/fresh or instant & was told they peel, boil & mash the potatoes there. So not true. They are instant & when I asked for something else they said no. Some people like instant potatoes but they are repulsive to me. No shame, many restaurants use instant but be honest so the customer can pick something else.
google avatar

Jaynar S.

Yelp
Wow crispy fried chicken! And the sauces that come with it! The Chicken Sandwich is great! The interior can be a bit crammed when it's busy. The outdoor area is more spacious, but only when weather is permitting. It looks like this place used to be a Sonic. The only single restroom is not inviting. You have to walk outside to the back and feels more like a gas station restroom. Overall, super friendly staff and good food.
google avatar

Russ S.

Yelp
We showed up 20 mins before close aftera day on the lake and asked if we were too late. They welcomed us in without hesitation. The food was amazing and portion sizes were large. The tenders were big and juicy. The chicken sandwich was very tasty. Everything was great! Will definitely return.
google avatar

Liliana A.

Yelp
Was looking for a chicken spot in town and dare I say this place was better than chick fil a! We got the signature honey butter flavor sandwich and came back the next day for another one! Staff was super sweet and made an effort to check in on people and make sure everything tasted good. If you are in town definitely have to check this place out.
google avatar

F. L.

Yelp
Probably the best fried chicken I've ever had, completely impeccable. Skin is crispy, chicken is very moist inside, and it's fried fresh to order. Sides are also good--vegetables nicely cut the fat from the chicken. My only complaint is that their sauces don't include "Chicago-style hot/mild."
google avatar

Karlee P.

Yelp
This place is delicious! The fried chicken is literally perfected down to a science. We got the 10 piece tenders family meal and every single piece was uniform in size, the perfect amount of breading and gorgeous perfect golden brown. The chicken was fully cooked and juicy as hell. We also got a chicken salad that was good. For our sides we got French fries. The light seasonal seasoning was so good. We also got Mac and cheese that had goldened panko crumbs on top and it was really yummy. Then we got mashed potatoes and gravy. At first I thought they were just meh. But then I used my chicken tender as a spoon, scooping the potatoes and gravy and it was sooooo good! I had wished I had some corn to go with it. Here is my wish list for making this experience a tiny bit better... 1. The flavors they have for the chicken are original, spicy, or honey butter. I wish they also had a classic bbq sauce that I could get. (But still the chicken flavor is so good and the mustard sauce that they give you a bottle of to take to the table is still very delicious!) 2. For the price of the salad I wish that it would have also included tomatoes and cucumbers. And a mixture of spring lettuce and not just the iceberg style lettuce with the carrot and cabbage slivers that I don't find as flavorful as greens. 3. Real potatoes (preferably red potatoes with skin on) for the mashed potatoes would be so good. It's clear their potatoes are instant. Still yummy but not as yummy as real. 4. I wish one of their sides was corn. It wouldn't have gone perfect with the mashed potatoes and chicken tenders. 5. Their to-go boxes don't quite stay shut very well. It kept popping open when I carried the bag. All in all, they are doing a phenomenal job. It was delicious and I'm looking forward to go there again. The outdoor seating was nice with my 3 young crazy, messy kids. The overall ambiance was great for being such a small shop.

Yelp
We wondered about this place, were really lucky to snag the last parking spot. We ordered a full chicken with their homemade pickles and broccoli salad. They were all wonderful. The chicken was so delicious, succulent, and big! I caught myself saying not quite under my breath, "Look at those breasts!" Fortunately, the place was pretty noisy, so it went unnoticed. Very cozy seating, a young couple from France in a camper sat next to us, and we had a fine time chatting with them while enjoying the meal. We each had a beer - and probably would have ordered another, but the place is very popular and lines are long. Deservedly so! Service was friendly, fast, efficient. Highly recommended.
google avatar

Rebecca P.

Yelp
Fresh , hot fried chicken. It was very yummy, although I just simply prefer the seasoning at KFC, but that's just me. I really liked the slaw as well. Overall, I definitely recommend for others to visit. We would return.

Yelp
I've said it once, but I'll say it again, By Far the best fried chicken I have had in Arizona. Talk about consistency - they know what it means, and they show it over and over. Again, it's texture, succulent, portion size (big), tender and juicy, perfect skin crispiness, incredible taste, regardless of style with their Original, Honey-Mustard or Spicy, its fabulous seasoning will overwhelm your taste buds. Their sides are stupendous whether it's the Mac n Cheese, Coleslaw or a Broc Salad, Mashed Taters, or fab pickles. And, they have ice, ice, ice cold beer in a multitude of brands and styles - a selection for any brew fiend! Like Grand Canyon Prickly, Hop Canyon or American Pilsner and Bud, Stella, Modelo or my fave Cumbre! When in Page and ready yardbird, go to the bird.

Yelp
Our party of two arrived in the late afternoon on a Sunday and was easily able to find a seat (inside and outside). We were greeted right away and told to pick a table, review the menu, and order at the register. We got a number and the food was brought to us in about 10 minutes. 1. Chicken Sandwich ($9, 4.5/5) - 2 tenders between a soft bun. Loved the sweet mustard sauce. Could have used more of the veggies. 2. 3-Piece Tenders ($14, 4/5) - loved how we could choose a flavor for each piece. Pretty juicy but the honey butter flavor could have been more prominent. 3. Single Leg ($3) - My partner had this and liked it more than the tenders. Great service and food. Plenty of parking in the front and back. Would be happy to return!

Yelp
Near Antelope Canyon and Zion, you'll find the in between town of Page, Arizona with a great chicken place called Birdhouse! Stop by for lunch or dinner featuring excellent fried chicken, original or spicy... Wait staff will bring you your food that can include Cole slaw and bacon broccoli salad. Seems like a take out chicken place but they'll wait on you like you are providing the tip later. Free water and plastic cups along with 2 kinds of sauce for your chicken. Fries and mac n cheese are also available. The owner may thank you personally on your way out,

Br H.

Yelp
Long time resident of Page, we tried the Bird House today for lunch. Sorry to say it did not measure up to the all the positive comments we had heard. The latest being from a young man, he was excitedly anticipating having lunch there. We ordered our lunch to go. My wife ordered a box lunch, leg and thighs. I ordered a single piece, a breast. The sides were mashed potatoes and cold slaw. The chicken pieces size was reasonable, nothing noteworthy. The chicken was over cooked, the crust was a dark color, tending to being really dark. The crust was greasy, and the meat was not tender. The only thing we could surmise was, it wasn't the regular cook. The service was good; they had a lot of customers; we took the last available parking space.

Yelp
We were so hungry after seeing the lower antelope canyon and horseshoe bend. We drove by this spot and decided to read a couple reviews; someone mentioned that they were also from San Gabriel Valley, California and gave this place a pretty nice review so we thought we'd give this place a chance. WOW, talk about hitting the spot! We ordered the #3 chicken box with a side of seasoned fries, an order of the house made pickles, and a chicken sandwich (we got spicy honey butter, a combination of the two flavors for the sandwich). Between me and my partner, we couldn't finish it all in one go hahah. The chicken was crispy and juicy on the inside, the fries were cooked perfectly and the sandwich was sooooo good. The house made pickles were delish! The person who rang us up was pretty chill and friendly, and the vibe inside was just the same. They played good music and we found ourself boppin' to some of the songs while we stuffed our face with food hahah. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for some fried chicken or a chicken sandwich!

Yelp
We stopped at Bird House after our tour at Antelope Canyon right across from our tour spot as it was a "must try" recommend by a few. I'm plant based so I personally didn't have anything to eat but my husband had the original chicken sandwich. He said it was ok nothing crazy or better than he's had from other chicken places but I guess it's a Page AZ thing. He also mentioned that the sauce would have more flavor but it was very bland. The service was a bit slower than he expected for it being a "fast food" joint.

Yelp
Although we came as there were very few customers (maybe only three groups total), the staff seemed oblivious. When we went back for another round of beers, she treated us like we had just walked in the door off the street, and she really didn't seem to grasp how to deal with customers. Not rude or malicious in any way, just inexperienced and a bit spacey. That said, the food was solid. We split the ten tenders (original) with double fries. Not bad at all. If we go again, we may try the honey mustard or hot. Edit: I can't spell, apparently.

Yelp
If you're ever in Page, Arizona, you have to stop at Birdhouse. No excuses. This is hands down the best fried chicken I've ever had in my life--yes, I'm talking 'best in the world' level. It's one of those places that makes you think about your meal days, weeks, even months after you've eaten it. The fried chicken here is pure perfection. The batter is light, crispy, and seasoned to absolute perfection--every bite has that perfect crunch that gives way to juicy, flavorful chicken. You know that feeling when you bite into something and just go, 'Oh wow'? That's every single bite at Birdhouse. And the sauces? Unreal. Whether you like spicy, tangy, or sweet, they have something for everyone, and each one takes the chicken to a whole new level. The menu is simple, but trust me, that's a good thing. They focus on what they do best, and they absolutely nail it. The sides are just as amazing--the fries are golden and crispy, the slaw is refreshing, and everything feels like it was made with love and care. The vibe of the place is casual and welcoming, with super friendly staff who make you feel right at home. The owners clearly have a passion for what they do, and it shows in every detail--from the food to the warm, relaxed atmosphere. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite after a day of exploring nearby Antelope Canyon or just passing through, Birdhouse is the perfect spot to recharge. I've been to a lot of restaurants, and Birdhouse is easily one of my all-time favorites. It's the kind of place that makes you wish you lived closer just so you could eat there all the time. If you're even remotely nearby, do yourself a favor and go. This isn't just fried chicken--it's an experience. Birdhouse, you've set the standard for fried chicken, and I'll keep dreaming about it until I can come back!

Yelp
Located just off main drag behind gas station. Look for the big chicken!! Came here for dinner. Waited in line to order and self-seated in a small dining area inside, would love to try patio but was too hot for this. Staff was busy cleaning, bussing tables, restocking. It makes a difference. We ordered #2 chicken boxes (thigh & leg) with broccoli salad and mac&cheese sides. Unfortunately sides were really bad, so bad we couldn't eat them. Tried original and honey butter flavored chicken. The chicken was delivered w/ an extra thigh. Chicken was really tasty, crispy skin and moist meat. We liked original best. Much later we realized we'd been overcharged for the sides (1 side was supposed to be included for the price with each meal). For future visit, I'd recommend the chicken sandwich w/ their birdhouse sauce. Skip the sides. And check your bill before you pay. Lessons learned.

Yelp
At no surprise this place is pretty packed for dinner time even on a weekday. I thought this probably was the best food here in Page. Food is ordered in front where you'll be given a number so someone can deliver the food. It was too crowded so I ended up taking it Togo. These are my thoughts. Whole Chicken - So they did not have any thigh and wings so those 4 pieces were replaced with tenders. Breast - It was juicy, moist and delicious. Skin was crispy and seasoned well. (4/5) Leg - Pretty moist piece as well. Dark meat hit forsure. (4.5/5) Tender - It was crispy and moist. Solid as well. (4/5) Overall it was good. Spicy was not that spicy and honey butter wasn't super sweet or anything either. I've had better chicken and the seasoning was just alright but for Page this was solid. Chicken was cooked PERFECTLY! (4/5) Mac and Cheese - It was heavy and definitely cheesy. I enjoyed it and worth getting as a side. (4/5) Mash Potato - Was buttery with small amount of gravy. It's a solid add on as well that won't disappoint. (4.5/5) Broccoli Salad - It was okay. It's broccoli with sauce. (3.5/5) Donut Holes - I was blessed getting 8 pieces when I only ordered 6 pieces. Would recommend, this was delicious. It's crispy and packed with flavors. Loved the sauces. (5/5) I enjoyed this and definitely is the best fried chicken in Page. Definitely alot of tourist and I'm not surprised. Would recommend! Parking could be full so you may need to zoom around the restaurant a few times during peak hours.
