This is my local GO-TO bar in LB! Whether you want to golf or just enjoy one of their many beer/seltzer/cider selection and watch some sports, the staff is super friendly! Great place to make new friends!

The beer selection is amazing. It's a great breath of fresh air to play fun golf with friends and have good beer, seltzers and a variety of neighboring food. I have down ALL DAY her many times. Definitely recommend!!

My friend and I recently tried Birdies and Brews, but it was really disappointing. We went because we heard good things and knew the owner's friend was running it the night we were there. Unfortunately, the golf simulator was a mess. It kept failing to register the ball, so we couldn't enjoy a continuous game. The guy tried to fix it, but the issue persisted the entire time. Considering the high prices, we expected much better. The value just wasn't there, and the technical issues were frustrating. I wouldn't recommend Birdies and Brews. It was pricey and not worth the hassle.

This place is great! If you’re looking for a golf simulator just to practice your game or a place to hang out with some friends and play golf then this is a perfect option. They have a great selection of beer and delicious food options. The people that work there were super friendly and all of the equipment worked great. I look forward to coming back…

Great option for an indoor range. Ended up visiting on a day it was raining, so it worked out even better. Booked a time a few days before with GolfNow. It was only $22 for an hour session. The info provided by the system really showed me where I could improve my game. There’s also an option to order beer if you so desire. The staff is super attentive and can be easily reached. Highly recommend a visit.

Good beer selection, only 4 drafts. Beer cocktails. They have snacks but you can order food from places next door. 2 golf simulator areas , cool lounge golf vibes and lots of TVs for sports.....

My pops and I got takeout and then went over to Birdie and brews. They allow you to bring outside food in, very friendly, and accommodating. Luke, is a great employee, he gave me a few pointers, & even played a quick round with my dad and I. 5 's THANK YOU

So this is a review entirely of the "n brews" part of the business - I actually once, years ago, bought a Groupon for a golf lesson cause why not, then never used it. I don't even think they're in business anymore. So that's how much I care about golf (now, if it were *mini* golf n brews, that'd be different!) So when they opened, I had no particular reason to care - until I heard that their sandwiches are on Gusto bread. *Then* I had to check them out. Cannot speak at all to the golf, though, but I was there a few weeks ago to check out the food - food is legit. (And yes, they do have a few bar seats, if you aren't golfing but want to stop in anyway.) I knew I wanted to try a panini, obviously - that's what I was there for, after all. They also have $15 meat paninis, but I went for the $13 mushroom/pesto. There's nothing overly fancy about the presentation, it's exactly what you'd expect - mushroom, pesto and cheese on grilled bread. But in addition to using the absolute best bread (Gusto), I also learned they get their cheese from Oh La Vache! The mushrooms and pesto are just from the store, but still, that's a monster combo! It doesn't look huge, but with all the great cheese and everything, it was pretty filling (and delicious, obviously). Totally a worth $13 sandwich. As far as the "n brews" part specifically, they have a fairly small selection, but a quality one, representing a decent range. They also get a craft michelada mix from a local small business - they always have the standard red mix, and *sometimes* have a "verde" mix that sounded even tastier. They didn't have it the day I was there, though (reminder to self: reason to go back sometime.) They also *sometimes* have Trademark's A La Playa (my favorite beer for micheladas), but also didn't that day - they did have mango cart, though, also a solid michelada choice, so I went with that. So I can also confirm, their michelada mix is legit, too. Pretty sure the guy I was talking to was the owner, too? I didn't ask, but he talked like he was the owner. Super friendly, anyway. Welcome (super belatedly) to the neighborhood!

Pretty cool virtual golf bar in Downtown Long Beach. My boyfriend is a big golf fan and wanted to practice his shots while going out on a Friday night. We found this place on Yelp and it also has food options such as a charcuterie board (however, it was ok and pretty expensive too). The space wasn't huge, only has two displays for swinging and practicing. You can bring your own clubs too. It was fun to hit a few swings for an hour or so - but it gets repetitive and hard work. I like that it tracks each swing and tells you the speed, direction and how far the ball went. It's definitely worth trying and it's very different than a regular bar and you don't have to wait in long lines for driving ranges like Topgolf.

You don't need to be good (or even know how to golf) to have fun here! My friend hosted a birthday gathering here and it was a great time. The staff were super friendly, the setup was perfect for golfing and/or hanging out and they had a nice variety of food/drinks. Cool spot in DTLB.

Okay so the staff and vide are nice but I took one swing on the first bay and my driver hit the wall and broke. The worst part is they knew this was an issue and didn't warn me. The wall had paint chips missing and thin foam covering it. Pretty upset about his 30 dollar simulator cost being up cost me hundreds... if the manager could reach out to me I'd appreciate it

Loved our 3hrs here! At first, I was skeptical that 3hrs was too much time. Granted the boyfriend and I were not professional golfers, but he had a "big boy" round coming up AND it was cold and rainy outside. So THAT'S how we ended up here. Golf enthusiasts with a thirst to quench on our day/night off. The staff was super helpful and friendly. They only have 2 simulation bays at the moment, so reservations are a must. Beer, ciders, and hard kombucha are on the premises so options are there. As for a beginner, the driving range option showed me things that I've never considered! The cameras up above show you your down swing and how your up swing affected the trajectory and everything after that! Slice, draw, etc etc.. it shows you it all! The fact that they have beer.. gave me range vibes but with the simulation, gave me "instructor lesson vibes". But once you play the virtual courses.. EVERYTHING is out the window and you just end up enjoying the experience. We will definitely be back soon! Support local businesses!

There's a manager here who's equal parts small, equal parts knows how to use a computer better than I do. He set me up, showed me his golf clubs, handed me a glass of milk and said "you're gonna need this, kid" I've never had service of this caliber before. Most golf instructors tell me I'll do fine if I try my best.

My family has a great time. It had a good atmosphere! A few of my brother in-laws lower drives didn't register a few times but other than that it was a pretty deal.

Cool spot to just go swing the club and have some brews with friends or family. My friend and I went and I can say that I had a lot of fun. Was able to fix some issues that I had seining the club.

Pretty cool spot. Enjoyed some time here the other night. Good beer selection and it's fun to play virtual courses. Only thing that could be improved is the sim itself as it is sometime finicky and doesn't always register correctly especially around the green and putting. My friends and I will definitely be back though as the place has a great ambiance and the owner was really nice.

Great place to go on a date. Especially if your significant other is a golfer. Also kid friendly they have board games, jenga, connect 4... you must try their paninis. Full of flavor. And their charcuterie boards.

Birdies N Brews is the perfect place to hang out with friends! I am definitely not a golfer but I had the best time putting while enjoying beer on tap! They have a great selection of seltzers and local beers as well. Their drinks are affordable and the staff's so friendly. 10/10 would recommend! Can't wait to return soon :)

Wellll, talk about awesome experience ;) Welcomed at the door like a family party and was holding a beer and hitting balls in minutes. BnB had a perfect golf sesh assortment of beer and the vibe was relaxing. No doubt I'll be bring all my golf buds here asap. Keep going Birdies n Brew!!! Great place to come have some beers and work on your swing. Can get through 18 hole course in a hour or hit the driving range with technical and visual feedback. Plus free two hour in the parking structure behind. Large selection of beers too. Highly recommend for those who have the itch to golf but don't have the time to hit a course.

Would 100% recommend this place to anyone. This is a very cool place to spend a couple hours. This family business was very accommodating for our party. We had 10 people so we used up both golf simulators for two hours. They have a wide selection of beers. They also have non alcoholic drinks and some snack foods. We went on a Saturday and they had the UFC fights on. Will be going back again.

This place is really nice. It is pretty small. They only have two screens available to play golf. They have a few selections of beer. They do have some snacks like a charcuterie board, some chips. But they do allow outside food and there is a Wingstop next door, I had my husband's birthday at Topgolf, I wish I would've known about this place before. It's not as expensive as top golf, it does provide accuracy, and I feel like you can make your swing better by the feedback that the simulation is providing to you, when you swing the ball, it shows the club fees in which you swung at it shows how your ball went in to a certain direction. It's a pretty nice spot especially if you're a new golfer because you can learn a lot and if you are an experienced golfer, you would like this place as well, because you can see the consistency that you have with swinging a club.

Smaller than anticipated. Walked in, looked around, and walked out. No privacy for respective parties and the only seating looks to be like only used couches. Thought I found a good alternative, but will just go to Top Golf or this one spot in ktown, both worth the drive compared to this spot.

Birdies and brews is awesome!!! We have been there 3 times since they opened and my game has improved. And I can start drinking without having to walk ‍ the course. We played Pebble Beach and we loved it. You have to check it out. We ordered hot wings from Wing Stop ((next door) and had a good time. This week I'm playing the Ryder cup course. Check it out!!

Went with a group of friends and absolutely loved the experience! Definitely not a pro golfer but with good company and great selection of beer we had an amazing time ! Staff was super friendly and very attentive

This place is amazing. We went here for my friends birthday and the workers were the most friendly people I have ever interacted with at a bar. They were constantly asking how we were doing and the atmosphere is such a vibe. One of the workers were giving my friends and I taro card readings which was also a plus! Thank you so much birdie and brews and we will definitely be returning again.

Fun place to hit a few balls and have some beers with your buddies. The putting is pretty inaccurate but it's still fun.

The guy was initially super friendly when I first called. He told me he was on his way there but they weren't open yet, I called before they were open. You can easily reserve a Bay online or you can try and walk in. The food is great as far as smaller bites but nothing as a full meal, but you're golfing so why would you want a full meal. The simulator has a bunch of different courses and they serve beer there, great for groups. I highly recommend

This place is awesome!! As a golfer, this place is awesome for a night with your golf buddies or just a place to practice your swing! It's also a great place to enjoy golf with those friends that don't really play golf at all.

I really enjoyed Birdies N Brews! As an avid golfer, it gave me an opportunity to play with friends who ordinarily would be intimidated by the driving range or course. Everyone was very friendly, they had a good selection of beer, including non-alcoholic which I appreciate being in recovery. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend checking it out whether you golf or not!
