Birdies Sports Bar & Grill

First time here, party of 4, 6 pm, Friday of st paddy's weekend. It was packed! We sat outside, which was nice, only table available. Food was excellent, large portions, great tasting. Service was a little slow but it was crazy busy. Everything was clean. Virtual golf areas inside, with nice setup. Didn't get pics inside, too many people.

The staff is very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food is absolutely delicious we tried the loaded tots with steak, a grilled chicken sandwich, and a cheeseburger everything was fresh, well cooked, well seasoned and the portions were huge. In terms if value for the money you definitely get your moneys worth the golf simulator was fun. It is a bar so it is loud the music was very loud making it challenging to talk but overall it was full of drinking patrons and families of all ages. Overall I would return

Genuinely would die for this steak panini. This is my first time ever taking the time to write a review. Steak panini was 15/10 and the Crispy bacon chicken sandwich was also delicious

I’ve been to birdies many times since they have opened and their chicken sandwiches were amazing because of how big the piece of chicken was but I went yesterday and the chicken is very tiny now and still the same price.

I entered this establishment with friends that were in town celebrating our 40 High School Reunion. Party of 8 African American professional in our mid Fifties. We did not receive a welcome nor a glass of water. The restaurant had roughly 25-35 people. We will never be back. Hog Wild and Reilly were better options for All Americans to enjoy.

Great food for a good price. I don't feel ripped off when I eat here. Portions are massive. Their golf simulators are a great time. I suggest booking ahead of time on weekend evenings for the golf simulator.

Hey, I hear you guys are going to take the steak and shrimp pasta off the menu!! That is the best dish you guys got in my opinion. I hope you don’t take it away!! Maybe you can keep it as a secret off menu item!?

Best burger I've had in a long time. My wife liked her dish (pita wrap) as well The one bad thing The food took forever to arrive (35min.) It wasn't busy at all There were 2 more tables besides ours and 4 people sitting at the bar(not eating) But overall, it was a pretty good experience.

Went again a few days ago. This time there were more golfers, so it was pretty cool to watch them take a few swings. The food again was fantastic!!! I had the crispy chicken sandwich, my husband had the Cuban panini, and our daughter had a special chicken satay dish.

Jess was incredible handling the bar. Stayed happy, gave perfect recommendations for drinks & food. Got very busy and she was running around like a pro. Food was spectacular as were the drinks! Thanks for such a great first time at a new bar & grill!

Was staying in Oak Lawn and wanted to go to a safe place for a sports bar feel. I was pleasantly surprised with this place. Birdie's has golf simulators but I was there for dinner. There are plenty of TV's with sports large bar and plenty of tables. The wait staff was nice and chatty and provided different recommendations when I asked. Tried the smoked wings with maple glaze and they were very good and can see why they are a local favorite. But the turkey avocado panini stole the show and was one of the better panini's I have had. Don't let the golf simulators keep you away go for dinner.

Great staff! Portions of food are enormous and drinks are always well made! Nice spot to hit some shots when the weather isn't permitting outdoors.

Just recently moved to Oak Lawn and my sister took me here for lunch. I got the corned beef sandwich which was really good! This is now my ho yo place gor a corned beef sandwich. Went today and had the meatball soup with was fantastic! Highly recommend getting this soup! If you are in the area please give this place a try.

My family had an amazing time on Father's Day at birdies sports bar . Our waitress Jordan was fantastic , and very knowledgeable about my food allergies . Bartender Jill was hilarious and made great recommendations. The manager Kelly was amazing ,you can tell she truly cares about the guest experience. Had a great time , definitely will be returning .

I just ate at this location for the first time. A friend recommended the smoked wings. After reviewing the menu I decided on the buffalo egg rolls. Joes on weed street are my favorite. Unfortunately they were not what I expected. Upon check out the egg rolls were still on the check and I was told their policy is to not refund food. The manager Kelly was rude unprofessional and un empathetic and certainly lacked good customer service. I did not see such policy posted in the restaurant. In all my years of being a chicago resident and foodie dining at various restaurants this is HANDS DOWN the worst dining experience. BAD BUSINESS I will never return and would NOT recommend this place to anyone. DISAPPOINTED ZERO STAR!

I sat down at bar hopping to get an appetizer and drink. I waited 15-20 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. I went to another table to get a menu so I would be ready to order because I was starving. When someone finally came to take my order I was told the kitchen closed at 11pm. It was 11:02. The bartender showed me her watch to I guess validate the time. Considering how long I waited and yes she saw me I would think she would have at least asked if they could make my appetizer considering we were talking 2 minutes. POOR SERVICE.

Service is terrible. Showed for our reservation 15 minutes early. Took the money out of the account Manager says unfortunately they double booked and told us "Shit Happens" "It's an unfortunate situation and it always happens when I'm working" Well sir, "Maybe, you are the problem!" If I ever told a customer in retail that "shit happens", I would be fired on the spot.

Even when full this place is not super loud rather it's a consistent buzz. Service is pretty consistent. Have not tried the gold simulators but looking forward to trying them. Food is solid. We will definitely come back for the nachos.

I have to say, the smoked Buffalo wings are the best wings I have ever had....EVER. They are fall off the bone tender, not too smokey, and the sauce is like a homemade tasting buffalo sauce. You want wings, get the SMOKED wings here. Sweet potato fries are good too.

Very nice. I'm a big fan of the golf booths. The whole set up works very well. Tons of TV. It's airy , yet cozy. Nice friendly staff, very attentive. Good crowd. The Mac N'Cheese is a bowl of creamy/cheesy goodness. It comes as a side but the portion is well sized enough it can be a lunch into itself. The nachos were tasty and chips were fresh. The steak bites were on point, as was the fried ribs.. highly recommended

I love this place so much the food is so great I definitely recommend this for a nice dinner or a nice time to go off. Nice time at the bar. The service is so good I love this place All the service comes so fast. There are so many amazing workers, especially Jamie.

Came here to celebrate and pre New Year's Eve to split two appetizers and some drinks. 1 out of 2 appetizers were cold. Unfortunately, I also couldn't take the smell of lingering cigarette smoke that hits you in the face as you walk in this place.

Food is good. Service is good. If you are a golfer you will love all the simulators. Plenty of parking. Ownership supports the neighborhood. Come here.

So if you have a family emergnecy and need to go asap...this place will still charge even if you didnt recieve food....the service sucked and the food wait is more than an hr..dont waste your time!

Can't believe I didn't know about this place. I love golf and they have quite a few simulator bays. Stopped in on a Friday afternoon with a group of ten. We were seated immediately. I order the Kale and Quinoa Salad. It's had to find a good salad on the southside so it was appreciated. Service was a little slow given the place was empty, but I will be back!

Came to eat at Hog Wild, but ended up here instead. Glad I found this place, my food was good, nice sized portions, descent beer, and I enjoyed Kathy's wit, she's ole school, great for business and very attentive. I'll be back!

Great food and service is good. Portions are ample. Parking lot is kind of screwed up. Have only been there for lunches.

I love this place! Best bar food going! Service with a beautiful smile should be their calling card! And if you're a golfer, they have 7 booths to tune up your game. Watch video on club contact, swing speed,etc. I've never had a bad meal from their elevated bar food menu, which is extensive and very reasonably priced!

My family had a great time. There were 4 of us and we reserved an hour of golf with apps. Everyone left happy. Even the 6yo.

Not a huge golfer but will watch my buddies play and have a few beers until I Munster the courage to take a swing. I haven't had a bad plate of food here and the portions are great sizes. Friendly owner as well

Great bar, friendly staff, their tv set up is great and they have amazing food. Surprisingly the chicken marsala and garlic bread with sautéed garlic cloves are the best I've ever had. Better than any downtown Italian restaurant.

Had a fresh beer on tap, chicken nachos. It was delicious. Bartenders were smiling and very attentive. Love the atmosphere of golf on tv and country music in background. The simulators are good too.

I hate to leave bad reviews for new business I'm hoping the owner will take my review as Learning review. Today was my second visit at this bar. So food: very good appetizers chicken wings one of the best in the area. Awesome atmosphere and Halloween decorations. Now drinks: if you looking for a beer sure no big deal but if you want good margarita this place have a lot to improve. First of all it is surprising that they up charge you for different flavors of margarita. It is unbelievable to get charged an extra two dollars for a flavor. Yeah not acceptable. Bartenders definitely needs training how to make specialty drinks. Oh and table salt is not salt for margarita. Sorry if I hurt your feelings but not everyone on Southside want to drink beer

As soon as I walked in the door I couldn't believe how open, well lit and spotless the space was. A greeter immediately said welcome and asked how my day was going. our table had a great view of the entire restraunt as probably every table would. Our service could not have been better As two people came immediately asking if we needed a drink. I ordered the steak quesadilla and fried pickles . The fried pickles were amazing and the quesadilla almost made me cry. The portions were insanely hug. Birdies without a doubt is my spot. SECOND TO NONE!!!!!!!! THE BOMB

Went here Halloween, said hours were 7am-2am 7 days a week, walked in approximately 11pm and the owner was waiting at the door and said sorry guys last call, change your hours if you're going to do that, that's ok Reilly's will continue to get our business.

I've been there twice now in the last month or so. First time was for breakfast (right after they started serving breakfast I believe) and it was delicious! Went again for lunch and the food was amazing and large portions, I took home half and had it the next day! Friendly service, good food, reasonable prices. I likes the golf theme and have to get there one day to use the simulators!

Lack of communication with employees. You call for information, walk in, hostess station has no clue

Come here with my wife often since it opened. Great food. Great drinks. Great people and atmosphere. I know someone left a review on masks... it's a private business. Private owners can run their businesses however they want. If you don't like it, don't go. This is a place with regulars and visitors. Get over it. They also have slots now. Hate that I like to put money in every so often but hey that is my issue lol. I recommend this place! And you're more than welcomed to wear a mask if that is your choice

Great addition to the neighborhood. Have used the golf bays over a dozen times. The staff is super friendly and helpful simulator technology is great and the service is out of site, never have to wait for food or drink and they also have staff to come by frequently and clean empty drinks plates etc.. Great mix of people there to golf and people just there for some good food and cocktails. To the guy who complained about the 3% charge for credit cards, Bring cash next time. Super sports bar. Not loud. Very happy local crowd. A lot of thought and planning went into the design. I am not a golfer, but they have many private booths and screens to play. Busy place. Fantastic food, drinks and service. Very reasonable prices. Plenty of free parking. I plan to be a regular.

Very nice looking place. But have you heard of Covid?? Not a mask in sight. Not asked for proof of vaccination? This is required in Cook County.

Birdies, might actually be a super fun place to hang out except you're paying an arm and a leg for shit pours and mediocre drinks. Leaving with no buzz and a high tab will leave a sour taste in anyone's mouth. Make sure to ask if it's an extra charge for the flavor of drink you're ordering. Might give this place a mulligan if I want to drink beer but probably not... other bars have golden tee and actual alcohol in their drinks.

Birdies is an all time spot to get drinks, golf or just get a quick bite. Lunch was better than I expected, they have a variety of drinks and the fact you get to golf there pulls it all together. Great atmosphere and the employees truly care about your experience. Can't wait to go again!

The food was great but my service wasn't good at all she drop some drinks all over my jacket and the busser Maria was the best

Very cool place something different if you like to golf or just hang out at the bar. Went there yesterday for the first time with a large party and I have to say I was blown away by how great the service was. Everyone is short handed so I don't blame other businesses or servers, but this place had plenty of people working there. Everyone from the host, servers and cleaning crew was extremely accommodating and very nice. Best service I have had anywhere since Covid. Food was good bar food and the place had a ton of tvs, this place will do great. Only thing I recommend if you have a large party and golf make sure you reserve table also.

The food and service were great. Being charged 3% of my bill for using a credit card is the most ridiculous thing I have experienced. That is the merchants responsibility not the consumers. I will no longer spend my money at this establishment with questionable business practices. The cost of doing business is the cost of doing business.

Birdie's has great food, drinks, and service! This is definitely a great new local spot. My friends and I already excited to go back!

The simulators are very nice, good place to watch sports and play some golf. The drinks were also awesome, only split one appetizer with my friend but it was also great tasting over all good experience service was also good and the staff seemed friendly
