Birding Man Wildlife Tours

We had a great day with Ryan, we saw multiple waterfowl species, teal, widgeons,pelicans, and a new bird for Ryan the flying carp! Then it was off towards the Pawnee Grasslands, there were wrens, sparrows, meadow larks, and the Colorado state bird. The highlight for me was 2 golden eagles and 2 bald eagles probably deciding who was going to enjoy lunch, they put on an exciting aerial display. The pictures here are from Pawnee Buttes, where we enjoyed a great lunch Ryan had prepared. We had an amazing experience at Rocky Mountain State Park with Dylan. We were able to see a variety of wildlife, including a black bear! Our highlights were seeing many different bird species and a perfect lunch spot on the trail. Dylan was very knowledgeable and took his time to show us many beautiful vistas along the way.

I contacted Ryan about a custom birding trip. He was responsive and friendly in all communication. We chatted on the phone to strategize and collaborate on a gameplan for the day. Ryan was realistic about what we could see and came up with a plan that gave us the best chance to see the birds that were possible. I did a full-day custom birding tour with Ryan yesterday, and it was an absolute dream experience. As someone new to birding, I wanted to understand habitats, seasonal patterns, and bird behavior to improve my photography. Ryan was not only easy to work with but also incredibly passionate and thorough in sharing his knowledge. I learned so much in just one day, from practical tips to deeper insights that will stay with me for a long time. On top of that, I came home with some great photos of rare and exciting bird species that I wouldn’t have found on my own. Ryan made the experience engaging, educational, and truly enjoyable. I wouldn’t hesitate to book another tour with him in a heartbeat—highly recommended!

My husband and I were in Denver for a Roller Derby tournament and decided to spend a few extra days to take advantage of the beautiful scenery in the area! Ryan was a fantastic guide from start to finish!!! He was quick to communicate, professional, personable, organized, welcoming, and just over all passionate about getting people outside and intune with nature! We booked a full day tour that acted as an introductory bird watching trip and also as a fantastic way to get us sea-level people active and acclimated to the altitude! Our first stop was on the side of the road where Ryan pulled over to set up a telescope to view a Great Horned Owl nest with two chicks in it! He also provided binoculars, showed us how to use them, and introduced us to different birdwatching apps! Ryan has such a vast knowledge of the wildlife and geological history of the area and was able to present it in a way that was incredibly engaging, informative, and entertaining! We made several stops along the way to Rocky Mountain National Park to view Bald Eagles, Golden Eagles, Bighorn Sheep, and Elk. We stopped in RMNP for a great lunch that Ryan had prepared before heading to the frozen-over Bear Lake for a hike in the snow! Afterward the tour, Ryan stayed in touch to see how my derby games went, and he sent us all the information of the wildlife we encountered and photos from the day! Ryan is not only a brilliant guide, he is a funny and friendly person who made an 8 hour day fly by! We had an incredible experience with Ryan and his knowledge and patience with all my questions really made it a worthwhile unique experience and it was absolutely the highlight of our Denver trip. I would absolutely travel with Ryan and Birding Man Adventures again!

My wife and I had a truly wonderful day with Ryan near Grand Lake, CO. We saw some incredible birds and being with Ryan is like spending time with your friends, easy and fun.
