Birding Man Wildlife Tours

We had an amazing experience at Rocky Mountain State Park with Dylan. We were able to see a variety of wildlife, including a black bear! Our highlights were seeing many different bird species and a perfect lunch spot on the trail. Dylan was very knowledgeable and took his time to show us many beautiful vistas along the way.

Highly recommend! As a wildlife/bird photographer, I truly enjoyed my trip with Ryan near Denver. He is professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, and an absolutely pleasure to hang out with in the beautiful mountains.

Ryan did a great job giving us an amazing hiking tour! I would highly recommend him if you want to see awesome views in Colorado! He was very accommodating and informative.

I contacted Ryan about a custom birding trip. He was responsive and friendly in all communication. We chatted on the phone to strategize and collaborate on a gameplan for the day. Ryan was realistic about what we could see and came up with a plan that gave us the best chance to see the birds that were possible. Not only did we end up seeing essentially every bird we targeted, Ryan was a real joy to be around. He thought through all the details of the trip, had a bunch of extra gear that helped us with the elements, brought a stellar lunch, and seemed as excited as I was to see the birds we were searching for. The day we spent on our RMNP tour was incredible! We were extremely impressed with Ryan’s wealth and depth of knowledge. His enthusiasm for his work and his appreciation, respect, and love of nature was contagious as well as inspiring. Spending an entire day with someone you have just met can sometimes be awkward. Ryan’s warm and congenial personality made us feel like old friends. He graciously tailored our day with consideration for our substantial age difference. I, especially, appreciated that.

Yesterday I just took a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park with Ryan from Birding Man Wildlife Tours. Ryan is an awesome birding guide. He was very knowledgeable not only of the birds in the area, but where to find them. In general, he was a great guy to spend the day with. We saw a lot of western bird species, which was great for me because I am from the east. Although I have visited the west many times Ryan was still able to find some life birds for me. I was especially pleased to see a White-tailed Ptarmigan, actually a mother with three chicks. What a treat! If you are ever in Colorado and have any interest in birds or nature, I highly recommend booking a trip with Birding Man Wildlife Tours.

I was in Denver for a conference and had a bit of free time at the end, so I sought out a guide for my free time. Ryan and Bart did a great job setting everything up for me to get my target species, plus a few additional lifers and some upgraded photos of a few species I already had. I ended up with 42 species including 7 new lifers. What a wonder day it was!
