BIRKENSTOCK SoHo

Davey is such an asset to this store. The last time I came in, I did not receive this type or service or level of detail, but he has set the standard for how service should be at a store and brand like this, especially in SoHo. I had a few concerns about a previous purchase and he helped make sure I got the best size for me, going above and beyond. Everyone can absolutely learn from his approach and I highly suggest whoever in management reads this, takes this seriously. Let him train everyone at the store and you will bring your Google reviews way up.

I came in to buy 2 pairs of shoes Wasn’t greeted when I came into the store had to open draws and look to see where the stock as no one helped me or even offered to look for my sizes My sales person was a short middle sized wasian girl who has super rude I asked her to purchase the shoes and I was waiting to pay and she thought I didn’t want them. I felt super uncomfortable this store needs better employees as you missed out on me purchasing a couple of shoes suppose to 1 as I just wanted to get out the store as the atmosphere was horrible. Worse shopping experience ever will never be back and will never recommend this SOHO store to anyone ! Came all the way from the UK to shop in NYC. I have friends who do the same this store will not be recommended ever !

I went to Birkenstock this weekend in Soho NY to exchange my shoes that i got as a gift and the manager Andrew who was there couldn't have been more unhelpful and disrespectful!!! Unfortunately, I didn't have a receipt but they were in the original box and brand new. I never wore them. He said he wouldn't exchange them without a receipt. All I wanted was a different pair of shoes, not money back. I think its crazy that that is Birkenstocks policy!! Has anyone had the same problem?? I'll make sure I never shop there again.

I visited the Birkenstock store from NJ to get my correct fitting and purchase my first pair of Birkenstock sandals. The employees were very nice and exceptional. They helped me find my size and bring me the sandals I wanted. The store was a bit crowded and when I was directed upstairs to ask for the color sandals I wanted, the lighting gets a bit darker. I requested my color, first one came without the tags on, I asked why and they said it could possibly be that it was a “display” so I asked for another pair. The 2nd pair, the leather color was smeared all over the paper and the color was faded on the sandal, so I went with the first pair. When I got home, I compared the sandals, the left one was significantly darker and rougher. I checked, the suede was no good, seems like it either maybe got wet, not preserved correctly, or tried on too many times. I emailed their customer service who told me to go back to the store but I live far. You’re better off just going to a local Nordstrom or Bloomingdale’s.

Great men’s shopping experience shout out to the woman managing the small upstairs area this holiday evening! What a winner.

I visited the Birkenstock Soho location on a Thursday afternoon and had the pleasure of being assisted by Grace. Grace was exceptionally helpful and informative throughout my 1.5-hour store visit. She patiently walked me through all the different styles in the Arizona category, helping me select the size that best fit my foot. Despite not finding my size in-store, Grace went above and beyond by facilitating an online purchase for me, and my Birkenstocks were promptly shipped to my house. Grace, if you're reading this, the 43W size you recommended fits perfectly! To Grace's manager or the store owner, I highly recommend considering giving her more hours; she truly deserves it. Her outstanding customer service made my experience at Birkenstock Soho memorable and enjoyable.
