"The Birmingham Pub opened in mid-April, replacing the Triple Nickel restaurant that closed in 2020. The “elevated gastropub” serves a selection of American fare, from salads and steaks, to buffalo cauliflower appetizer and Terry’s Famous Fried Chicken, an entree with four pieces of extra-crispy chicken, chef’s slaw, braised greens, and Carolina sauce." - Brenna Houck

Really yummy and fresh food in Birmingham. Wasn’t expecting much but exceeding my expectations. All of our dishes were so good and flavorful. Service was also great considering we were a bigger group. Would definitely come back!

Ask for Mogan or Samantha at the bar. Service was amazing. Super friendly, engaging and on top of everything. Great food. Amazing drinks. People at the bar are down to earth and easy to talk with. Great menu from burgers to filet. Apps are top notch and filling. Can't wait to go back

Our waitress angela was professional, knowledgeable & kind. Youseff was welcoming as soon as we walked in for our reservation. The croquet madame for brunch with truffle fries was EXQUISITE. The purple paloma was the perfect, refreshing drink that paired nicely with our brunch. absolutely loved the dipping option for the fries too. Looking forward to our next visit!

Had an amazing time catching up with a girlfriend at Birmingham Pub!! Loved that they had mocktails and their creme brulee was perfection. Nina, our waitress made the night so fun! Upbeat, attentive - she provided 10 out of 10 service! Definitely will become a go-to spot! 🤍

Drinks were superb. The app was delicious, and my salmon bowl was yummy. My husband said the Halibut was lacking flavor. Service was spot on. It's worth checking out.

I meet a colleague for lunch at this restaurant! I was in awe of the atmosphere, decor and the friendliness of the staff. I don’t visit the Birmingham area much as it is known for the people being uppity. We didn’t have a reservation for lunch. We just walked in and the host was accommodating. The restaurant wasn’t extremely busy, but everyone seemed to be having a business lunch. The clientele was focused and serious. Which meant we had to be respectful as we were there to get away from work. Our waitress, Valentina was so genuinely nice and enjoyable. We ordered the Sausage and Peppers appetizer. It’s a must order, because it was delicious! I ordered a Fattoush Salad with grilled shrimp. Mmm good is all I say! I would definitely like to visit at night, because the atmosphere is probably more relaxed.

Haven't been here in a while, glad I checked it out again. Melissa was our server, she was very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to us. I really appreciate her being human and not acting like a robot. We shared different appetizers, I loved the cauliflower one. martinis we're great. We will definitely be back and would love to have Melissa as our server again.

Our family recently held our daughters baby shower in one of the Birmingham Pubs private event rooms. I couldn’t have been more pleased. The wait staff was exceptional and tended to all our guests needs without hesitation and did so with a smile. I can’t say enough to commend them on their fine service. The atmosphere of the event room was warm and inviting with the fireplace and all the windows. The food was very tasty and presented elegantly. Our party was a success. Thank you Birmingham Pub

Yelp
Extraordinary Service! We reserved The Sunset Room for a pre-wedding cocktail party and every guest raved about the service, food, and atmosphere! Blendi and Josef were amazing and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We had an unfortunate experience at a nearby Irish pub and needed a last minute accommodation, which Blendi and Josef bent over backwards to execute beautifully! This is the venue for private parties - it begins with the kindest ownership and staff and ends with a perfectly executed event THANK YOU BIRMINGHAM PUB!!

Yelp
We had a reservation and were seated upstairs which has zero vibe. I felt like I was eating dinner in a spare room. The service was average, but the waitress was a little clueless on the dessert size so we ordered two. One dessert would easily be enough for two people that just at dinner, so we took the 2nd dessert home. The fried ice cream was stale, as in it had no crunch to the outer coating. My steak, cooked medium as ordered, was so tough I had to have my husband cut it. It was edible, but had quite a bit of fat and was a little tough. My husband had the airline chicken which he said was "ok" but lacking flavor. The best part was our cocktail.

Chris P.

Yelp
It was ok. I came in around lunch time and it was super busy. I waited to get served and waited to get my food. It looks a lot nicer online than what it is really like in person. I got the Cobb salad and again it was ok. I have had better. Staff was courteous and friendly knowing how long the wait was to be served. They will validate the parking pass to park in the structure attached to the restaurant.

Yelp
From the time we were seated until we left Justice, our server, made the experience so enjoyable. He was knowledgeable about the menu items and was able to make adjustments for dairy sensitivities. He knew exactly when to return to replenish drinks and food items. He has been our server on two other occasions and we will ask for him when we return.

Rosalind J.

Yelp
Birmingham Pub is one of our favorite spots to grab great food and drinks as it harbors a fantastic environment and vibe that's relaxing as well as creative style and soothing ambiance. Yesterday, again, did not disappoint! Our server, Justice, was exceptional in every way! He was attentive, funny, engaging, and paid extremely close to detail in terms of our needs and provision of timely service! We started with the buffalo cauliflower which has become a staple of our "need to have" upon arriving. It is the best in town! We followed the french onion soup, classic reuben, fish & chips, sausage and peppers, poor man's lobster, caesar salad, and more...all were great...especially the fish & chips! The long island ice teas were on point too! Special note to our server, Justice, thank you for your service to us. You made our dining experience one for the books!

Yelp
Try them for drinks but not the food. Expensive but a good atmosphere. Asked to split the tuna poke appetizer and sweet potato fries with my friend, and was so disappointed. It took over 40 mins for it to come out and it had 4 small slices of seared tuna on top of rice and some veggies. Not what you would think of as poke. I wish the bartender would have said it's a very small dish and not great for sharing. (Definitely NOT worth $20) She also didn't ask us if we wanted to order entrees. We were both really hungry but decided it wasn't worth the wait and went somewhere else. I was so excited to try this spot but it was a big let down.

Yelp
I've only ever been here on Valentine's Day, but I must say, it was a great experience! This review is quite overdue because we came here for Valentine's Day 2022, but I saw that they were offering the same V-Day menu in 2023, and I'm crossing my fingers for 2024 as well! The food was out-of-this-world delicious -- no exaggeration -- we couldn't stop talking about it for months! They had a prix fixe menu with multiple courses, and every single dish was incredible. I've never been so full! Plus, shoutout to the staff, because they were seriously sweet. They even accommodated our dietary quirks, which was a massive win with a prix fixe menu. I don't know if they'd be able to do that all the time though, so it's definitely worth asking beforehand. The price was super reasonable in my opinion, considering the quality and amount of food that was served. We missed out last year, but I'm really hoping we'll be able to come back this February. This place made our Valentine's Day unforgettable, and I'm all in for making it a yearly tradition!

Lexie V.

Yelp
This place is great! Either date night, parents night out or even with our toddler - the staff is always very friendly, the food is good all around, dependably good, and the drinks are on point. Most recently I tried a mocktail like a Paloma - fantastic !! The Cobb salad is exactly what you hope it is - big, stuffed with bacon, tomatoes, lots of grilled chicken, and cheese! The fried chicken sandwich, burgers, chicken fingers, all the sandwiches really, you can't go wrong.

Yelp
Stopped for a nightcap. Sat upstairs and Caleb took great care of us. We could actually have a conversation with our friends and relax over a drink.

Yelp
We held our wedding rehearsal dinner here (party of 11). Overall we had good service and food was tasty. The food portions and presentation were great. It was easy to make a reservation. Everyone enjoyed their food, some of the entrees included steak frites, fish and chips, airline chicken, and halibut. The fish and chips entree is huge. The waitress did not help our elderly parents and give them a heads up it's big enough to split. So that was the only negative I have to share. Overall, we would recommend for a large party or a date night out. We will be back!

Kathy C.

Yelp
The food was sub-par and cold when it should have been hot, the music was on then off. The lights in the dinning area were bright then dim, bright, dim. Staff never cleared our plates away, we had to request the check more than once. If they had been busy, I could possibly understand but it was less than half full upstairs. Not impressed.

Nick C.

Yelp
Met some friends up for dinner and wanted to give them a try. The decor insight is pretty cool. Our service was also very good, he was very attentive. The food was a bit of a let down. I heard the fish and chips were good and the breading on the fish was crunchy and unique but wasn't as flavorful as I would've liked. The fries were nothing special and just would have higher expectations for the price point of anything at this restaurant. Might go for drinks or appetizers but would probably skip for dinners.

Richard Y.

Yelp
A great way to kick off the weekend-- we were seated right away at our reservation time at a corner window table. The ambiance is modern and lively-- parking tip--use the garage and they'll validate. Our server was friendly and so accommodating. the pace of the meal was right on and water glasses never got below 1/2 way. Now for the food-- the calamari app was perfectly fried with a spicy dipping sauce. The old fashions were spot on too. The entrees was excellent , from the salmon bowl to the especially good fried chicken. A sweet finish with the cookies and apple crumble rounded out a great dinner.

Yelp
My daughter had a rough week so we decided to take her somewhere nice for dinner. She recommended the Birmingham Pub, so we made reservation (highly recommended). The pub is spread over two floors and can be accessed via a parking deck (be sure to bring your slip with you as they validate!). We were seated upstairs at a high top near the bar. They have windows that fold open during nice weather and there is a nice view of area. We ordered some calamari and a pierogi for starters. They were both good, and I'd order them again, but thought they were slightly under seasoned. After dipping the calamari in their sauce, it was fine. My daughter ordered the halibut and absolutely loved it! My wife ordered the stroganoff and couldn't stop talking about the sauce! I ordered the steak frites and have found a new spot for the best frites in the area! Crispy outside with a light pillowy center. The truffle and Parmesan were present, but not overpowering. The steak was good. The thinner end was over done but the main part of the ribeye was perfect. The waitress was amazing! Great food recommendations with spectacular service.

Lisa Q.

Yelp
August 23, 2024 was an event to remember! We held my son's rehearsal dinner here for 65 people upstairs! Blendi the owner was thorough with assisting me with the planning and accommodating my special requests. Making the ambiance warm and elegant. We were all amazed by the food and the staff! He himself was part of making the evening flow beautifully and keeping the guests happy. They were funny yet professional and we highly recommend you consider for any special event. Thank you Blendi and staff

Chicago G.

Yelp
Service was good with a friendly and attentive waiter. Food was meh at best. They seem to have difficulty cooking burgers to order based on other reviews and our experience was no different. The beef stick salad was served with no dressing. Plain lettuce and cucumbers are not very exciting. These are "beef tips" so think of small leftover meat trimmings from the steaks they serve. No reason to go back.

Olivia A.

Yelp
Never had a bad experience. Been here multiple times for brunch! Great service and great food. Probably one of our favs in downtown birmingham for brunch.

Jerilyn M.

Yelp
A group of us ladies went out for our friend's birthday last night. We were looking for a nice ambiance that was sophisticated but welcoming and this place exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, they sat us and the manager and server (shoutout to Christian) were both quick to accommodate every little need. Our drinks were out quick. The manager gave us complimentary desserts for the birthday. They encouraged us to stay as long as we'd like--so much so that we stayed 3 hours! When a drink had spilled, Christian was out with a towel and replaced it immediately. When it began to rain, he helped us carry our items inside despite it being almost closing time. When we asked what time they closed, Christian answered "11:00p but stay as long as you'd like." Well done--we highly recommend Birmingham Pub.

Ryan P.

Yelp
Went here for a party and the bartender was rude and seemed like she didn't want to be there. When the cash bar hit the drinks were outrageously expensive where I felt like they were take advantage of us being part of the party. This put a damper on what was a fun night with friends. I'm part of the community and won't be going back here.

Taylor R.

Yelp
The Birmingham pub has a beautiful elegant atmosphere. It is a two story restaurant and if you sit upstairs you can over look the beautiful downtown Birmingham. It is a great place for a date night or even a night out with coworkers. This is my third time here and I love it. I always get their filet because it is to die for and cooked to perfection. Everyone in our group got a different dish and no one had any complaints. Our service was great and our food came out hot and tasty. We got the calamari and the buffalo cauliflower for appetizers both were amazing but the calamari came with buffalo sauce and I believe it would be better if it came with marinara sauce, but other than that everything was amazing. I highly recommend and will keep coming back.

Tanya H.

Yelp
Jim, the manager, has an aggressive approach with customers. Luckily the food isn't good enough to come back and many other restaurants right across the street. This is coming from foodies from Chicago. Not missing anything here. Wrote this review while at the restaurant. Real time updates...owner, Blendi, came to talk to us. He apologized, which was really nice. I'll come back at some point, since my husband likes to have drinks here, to see if I have a better experience. I will say, however, our waitress, Heather, is awesome! For that, I'll change my star review. Can't give it a 5 due to the experience and lack of flavor with my lobster. The risotto with the lobster was great.

Chris K.

Yelp
Live in the area and have only been in for drinks before, wanted to come in for dinner. Boy do I wish I went somewhere else. Staff was fine, no issues. Food was just bad and nothing like a Vicari restaurant. The "Chopped Italian Sandwich" is actually not a chopped italian sandwich and was just a very bad italian sub with low quality meats and nothing chopped. Would have preferred Jersey Mikes. Other people in my group did not enjoy their food either, overall feedback was low quality food and high Birmingham prices. The only things that I enjoyed were the french fries and the ice water. I am not normally one to leave reviews (I had to make an account to leave this one), but if I owned a restaurant, I would want all the feedback I could get. Do yourself a favor and skip this one if you want more than drinks.

Douglas G.

Yelp
Excellent service and delish food at this downtown Birmingham location. Highlights from our visit include the fabulous wine, we ordered a bottle of Pessimist, very good for our taste. We would highly recommend the buffalo cauliflower to start the meal off. The filet was tender and served with asparagus and potato. The environment was cute and inviting and our server was engaging, we will definitely go back!! Don't forget to make a reservation as they do fill up.

Nicole E.

Yelp
It's busy. We were seated about 5 minutes after we arrived. It's the same owner as Andiamos. Open for only 7 weeks now. The interior looks good. Christian is waiting on us. We ordered the shoe string truffle fries, salmon Caesar no croutons and a salmon pub salad, wanted to see what this webby bread looks like. The shoe string truffle fries were good. Nicely fried. It comes with Bernaise sauce and ketchup. We asked for bbq sauce, which tasted more like their steak sauce. The salmon Caesar was different, it comes with olive tepanade and artichoke as well. It was pretty good, not $32 worth. The salmon pub salad was okay. I did ask for a spoon to scoop out the avocado, never got it at all. Made do cutting it out with the knife and slicing it up myself. Definitely wasn't worth $36 for this salad at all. I ordered the fresh seasonal berries to end the meal. Strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries. Not sure the portion is worth $9. Must be the extra cost for the Marsala sabayon liquor mousse. A blueberry had mold at the stem. I am good. The waiter said it's part of the stem. The other blueberries don't look that way at the stem. My card landed on the floor, will need to disinfect that when it's returned to me.

Katerina L.

Yelp
Consistently good service and food! One of not many places I don't have any complaints about! French onion soup is a staple! Salmon bowl is delicious and healthy (I think ) dish - with portion being just right!

Blair S.

Yelp
I had such a fun night out for dinner here! I came with a girl friend and we had so much fun! I had the halibut and it was by far one of the best fishes I've ever had!!!! The only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is because I had a hard time planning my birthday dinner here. I asked if they could accommodate a large group and I was told yes but that the manager would call me. He sure did! Only to tell me I would need to pay a minimum. When I told him we just wanted to have a fun dinner and was not told there would be a minimum, he tried to negotiate a smaller minimum and eventually said they could only do a fixed menu. All of this would have been fine if I was told when I asked if they could accommodate a larger group. I would definitely go back though! The food was delicious!

Bob K.

Yelp
This place is getting three stars for me to start. I didn't have dinner but I saw a lot of food go by and it looked fantastic. It's really expensive but the atmosphere is wonderful. I'd like to get another chance and try some food and see if I can give it a more sound review but for a nice atmosphere and super pricey drink prices. It's a cool place to hang out. More to come

Sarah B.

Yelp
We had dinner here tonight and had a great experience. We were greeted when we first walked in Steve and Joseph were both very nice. The vibe and the menu are both perfect. Something for everyone, and not too over the top. Especially the leather booths and black-and-white photographs. Our server Sam was exceptional. She thought of everything and made us feel special. We ordered a delicious salad with beef sticks, an incredible crusted halibut and a burger. Each dish was accompanied by unique sauces for a balanced flavor. We ended the night with a crème brûlée and scoop ofice cream with espresso. The parking is also very easy and they will give you a token to validate. We felt very welcome here, thank you Sam for your attention to detail.

Yelp
Wonderful. Love the aura of this restaurant. The twinkling lights everywhere add to the festive feel. No Christmas tree here, though, but still has a holiday spirit. It's a small restaurant with tight seating upon first glance when walking in; however, it's not at all. Our booth was smack in the middle next to the bar but not cramped. Looking around, each table was perfectly placed to create a private "space" to enhance one's dining experience. The dishes they serve is truly a food connoisseur's delight. Which is where I get myself in trouble because, of course, I'm just the person who orders many items "Just to See." First, the appetizers, Buffalo Cauliflower and The Master's Pimiento. Both were spicy but most definitely the best dishes of the meal. Please try the cauliflower. It's sooo delicious. Next to the sides, we selected the Brussel Sprouts and the Artesan Garlic Bread. Both would be construed as "eh." Brussel sprouts were loaded with bacon onions, both grilled, which I get but it's passable. Next, the Caesar salad. Presentation wonderful. It has on it all you'd expect with added anchovies across the top and, surprisingly, tomatoes. Artichokes added to the side was a surprise, but nice. The dressing, which if we're honest, is the best part of a Caesar. I found it a tad too thin and just didn't quite hit the right notes. Frankly, needed more anchovy paste blended in in the dressing and parmesan. Maybe salt or pepper to bring out the flavor, which our very astute waiter would have happily brought, but my friend said. "No. You don't need it. Try to stay away from the salt. It is not good for you." So I did, but I shouldn't have. Lastly, the entrees: Terry's Fried Chicken and Grey Goose Shrimp and Penne. Both plates have nice presentation. Very generous serving of chicken. I tasted it. It's good. My family friend ordered it. We both agreed it wasn't for us. My pasta dish was served with five large shrimp across the top. The Vodka sauce was spicy and wonderful. I needed more. If the dish was served with any pasta but penne -- which it possibly could be because unlike other restaurants, I did not ask to switch for a lighter pasta - this would be my return-to dish. Sorry, no desserts were tested. As for drinks, my friend immediately ordered lemonade upon sitting down and I had the red wine Sangria. Loved it. With ALL that being said, I like it. I'm going to return soon. Although, we were able to just walk in and be seated on a Wednesday night at 6:00, you may want to make a reservation just in case. Just make sure you try the Buffalo Cauliflower.

Yelp
Second visit...the music is louder and worse than the first visit -at lunchtime! The manager was kind enough to turn jt down at least. Staff says they tell they tell the owners and mgmt but they will not change it. Same four stations/songs every day. I sincerely feel bad for the staff. I hope the owners can finally read this and turn this crap off!!!

Matt T.

Yelp
Service was 5*. Went here last night for dinner and a few drinks with a friend. Seated right away and service was top notch. Server very attentive, offered recommendations and was great. Food was 3*. Burger needed sauce of some kind, brooch bun was a bit dry and overall pretty salty. My friend ordered the beef stroganoff and was pleased overall but commented was a little overpriced at $36. Also the whole sage leaves in the dish were a bit of a turn off. Drinks were 4* . 2 each off the menu. Basically tried all the whiskey cocktails and was please overall. The paper plane was especially good but could not taste the whiskey. Overall 4*

Burcu S.

Yelp
Loved. I forgot to write a review for here so it's been like a month but we came here with a group of four and it was all really good! The soup is huge, and the Caesar salad here is bomb. The burgers are phenomenal, so are the drinks and vibes.

Aaron K.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places for a really good meal and a great drink. Their brunch on the weekends is great as is the dinner menu. It's usually busy but not crowded. Service is always good. Ambiance is relaxed.

Peyton S.

Yelp
Ever since I first tried the place, I couldn't stop coming back. The service is good but sometimes can be a little slow. The vibe of the restaurant is great and more upscale. The burger never fails to be amazing along with the fries. The mac and cheese is amazing, but sometimes the sauce is a little watered down taking away the flavor. Overall great though.

Kimberly O.

Yelp
We were able to make a last minute dinner reservation for 7:30 on a Saturday night. We had the artesian garlic bread side. Bread was fresh, the sauce was very good. I had the pretty in pink cocktail which was quite refreshing. The burger was very good, the sweet potato fries had an interesting flavor. My husband had the filet and it was very mediocre and had far too much butter on it. I wouldn't recommend the filet for that reason but otherwise it was an enjoyable restaurant and it did have nice ambiance although there are many tables very close to the front door so it can be a bit loud.

Tiffani E.

Yelp
**Update! Situation rectified with a phone call and apology. I appreciate the effort!! I made a reservation for a Tuesday night and arrived 10 mins early. After waiting 15 mins we inquired at the hostess stand. The "gum chewing" hostess told us "she'd let us know". After waiting another 10 minutes and being ignored we walked out. They clearly seat other people and don't honor reservations.

J. S.

Yelp
Been here 3-4 times and have not been disappointed. We've tried everything from thier apps (the pierogi is delicious) to thier burgers and seafood. Everything is fresh, well seasoned and decent portions for the money. Always service with a smile. Solid pours and craft cocktails too. Especially the Smoked Old Fashion. So good. Parking can be a bit tough depending on the time of day. Unfortunately, City of Birmingham has Old Woodward torn up just in time for Summer but it's worth the annouance and short walk to the restaurant IMO.

Elissa D.

Yelp
My filet was excellent, seasoned perfectly, and served beautifull with stuffed tomato, asparagus, and a gourmet potato! The service was wonderful! Can't wait to go back. My friend ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl, which she said was delicious, as was the cole slaw, and special warm bread! Also, There was free parking in the garage next door.

Elspeth F.

Yelp
This is not your usual pub. Its a fancy place with Upscale food and Fantastic cocktails. Wine list is fantastic! Most wines have 3.9 or higher vivino ratings (many over 4.0!) Cocktails are spot on! You can customize as you like! Please order the Fillet with the Zip sauce! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! The sauce is TO DIE FOR! I wish I could take home a quart+ of it! Prices for food are very fair for the quantity and quality. Prices for drinks/wine are very fair for quality! Service has been fantastic everytime! Vibe is great! Definitely a great date night spot! Parking - there is paid street parking right put front and a few free garages within a 10 min walk.

Mark K.

Yelp
Great management and great staff. I have been here many times and it always exceeds expectations. Blandley and Yousif are always very accommodating anytime we need a table and always GREAT customer service. Good atmosphere, very good food, and fairly priced.

Stephanie T.

Yelp
The staff at Birmingham Pub was exceptional! We were initially seated at a table near the upstairs door and it was freezing, with a capital "F." After some quick moving of reservations around the staff and management were able to move us to a spot away from the door and we were so appreciative. As for food, we absolutely loved the truffle parmesan fries and buffalo cauliflower. Our entrees - Cobb salad, fish and chips, and the chicken sandwich - were good but nothing special. The drinks on the other hand were very good! My daughter and I each got the blood orange margarita but since she is only 15 she got the nonalcoholic version. We were excited to each be able to celebrate my birthday with a "fancy" drink. The only true negative is that this place is a bit pricey for what amounts to basic pub food. Obviously the quality of food and drink is amazing and like I said service is exceptional but $150 (this does not include tip) for three people is a bit crazy. This was our first time visiting and I know we will be back but I think maybe just for appetizers and drinks.

Jessica G.

Yelp
Came in on a whim with 2 kids (1 year old and a 5 year old). We are from out of town so we weren't sure what to expect. The atmosphere was nice, I'd call it more of an upscale pub. I'm not sure that they're used to having kids in as there was no high chair or booster seat offered. The server was kind (Patrick) and he offered us to go cups with lids for the kids as well as grilled or fried chicken breast with fries for a kids meal. We started off with a bowl of truffle fries and some wings, they were both pretty good. For entrees I ordered the salmon bowl, my sister-in-law got the fried chicken and my husband got a surf n turf special for NYE (lobster tail, asparagus, 8oz filet and mashed potatoes). My sister-in-law mentioned the chicken was quite sweet and took most of it home so I'm unsure if she liked it or not. The salmon bowl was good, I liked the vinaigrette that was on the rice. My husband liked the lobster tail but said the steak wasn't seasoned - which for $79... seems a bit steep for a lack in flavor. I think if we were to come back, we would do so without the kids and order apps and drinks...maybe not entrees.

Linda K.

Yelp
Reservations were for 6 pm. Took 40 min to get a glass of wine and a beer. Food was good when we finally got it, but service was terrible. This was a birthday dinner for my husband (which they were aware of).

Crystal M.

Yelp
We had a table for seven upstairs. We enjoyed being on the second level as we were able to watch Woodward. However, the acoustics are awful up there. It was sooooo loud once four other tables were also seated. I had to yell to the person sitting next to me. Our server was amazing! The food was over priced for the quality. I would say the quantity was great. The taste on everything was just kinda "eh." The cauliflower and pimento cheese was the highlight. The steak was over cooked, the stroganoff had so much vinegar, the burger had a hard bun. The salmon poke bowl was great, but on a plate and not a bowl. Not a big deal in comparison. I will give the restaurant another chance. Maybe they were having an "off" day. I hope I am happily surprised next time.

David W.

Yelp
Not what comes to my mind when someone says "hey let's go down to the pub for a few drinks". I was pleasantly surprised by the eclectic decor and atmosphere. Our server was very nice, efficient and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great evening. Loved the Grilled Salmon Bowl and the few bites I had of the Filet and Frites. Can't wait to go down to the pub again!

Yelp
"Pub" doesn't accurately depict the food or drink selection here; only the casual atmosphere. Expect to see an extensive wine list, well thought-out cocktails and reasonably priced good-quality food. My husband and I had the black bean and walnut meat tacos, the southern fried chicken sandwich and little gem caesar salad. All were fantastic, but we were especially impressed with the black bean walnut tacos. The service was very prompt and our server, Jackie was both knowledgeable and attentive. This was the perfect "in-between" dinner option when we didn't want fast food or fine dining (and the prices). We will return, thank you!

Yelp
In Short. Thank you restaurant gods for this place. Amen. In long, the service is spot on and the food makes it worth it to go out instead of making dinner yourself. There is something on the menu for everyone so a great place to go with friends or when meeting up with new people. The menu matches the atmosphere which was appropriately curated. Our server was great. He could read our mood and catered to our style. The tables are close together so I could see how he adapted to the needs of each table. If all of the waitstaff is like this than well done. He had tried the specials in advance of presenting them too us which is always appreciated. It seemed that he had tried everything on the menu we asked about. It was obvious that whoever put this place together knew what they were doing so I kept wondering who is running this place. One of the managers came by the table to check on everyone and imho a good sign that they are always trying to improve. If your wondering, it's the Andiamo's guys who opened this place. Duh hat explains it. I will say it is quite loud so not the best place to take someone with hearing loss.

Yelp
Some of these reviews are just mean! I came here last night with two friends and had a great time. Our waiter Justice was a treat the entire meal. We each had a cocktail, mine the strawberry immunity booster one, was super yummy. We got the pierogi as an appetizer and it was both delicious and beautifully plated. Afterwards we had the tacos, beyond burger, and southern chicken burger with truffle fries and waffle fries. Again, all delish! I would definitely come back again.
