A cute food truck location with AMAZING tasting Birra tacos. I got 3 with cheese and onions also a small consume on the side to dip in. When I say the meat is tender juicy& full of flavor its an understatement & I am not kidding. Prices are so reasonable and I was full after 3. The consume is flavor filled and I couldn't tell if it was spicy or maybe it was the taco topping of onions and small jalapeños. It had just the right amount of spice. This place is a tiny gem. The only criticism I have is when asking questions the staff taking the order didnt seem to know how to give me guidance with the menu. They didnt really seem to want to answer questions and it was as if they expected me to know and understand the menu options. It is super basic, but I wanted to make sure I was ordering what I saw on google and Instagram cause it looked so good. Some other people dining here and their food looked very tasty as well. The dining area is in a small spot that is outdoor seating only. Very clean and several tables to sit at. It was nice out today but might be a bit much if its hot outside, no worries take it to go or eat in tour car in the AC... They also have some quesadillas and other options on the menu. If your in Bakersfield and want a tasty taco go here. Highly recommend. Definitely want to go back.

Fantastic local joint for authentic Mexican food. Great ambiance with quick and cheap eats. Taco plate comes with 4 tacos, and with 3 additional tacos and 2 drinks, total was only $30!

Amazing Birria Tacos for only 2$ a piece. Great price, tastes great and service is very nice and modern! When the Tacos are done you can get yourself limes, onions, pickled onions, cucumbers, cilantro and salsa at a designated bar. Location is very modern. All in all great location!

Tiny Tacos: I heard a lot about this place, and I thought I would give it a try. I ordered the Quesabirria Tacos $3.00 each, the flavor was good not as great as I was told and read about, and I was surprised how small the tacos were,(The photo makes them look larger) I did not expect that. I have had larger Quesabirria tacos for the same price at other Mexican restaurants throughout Bakersfield. Go try it, and you be the judge.

It can be very subtle details that separate a good from a great burrito. Tortilla has to be toasted. Meat flavorful but not over salted. Rice flavorful and cooked to soft but not mush. Beans soft like you would have in a soup. Some places leave them partially cooked! While other folks recommended the tacos, I wanted a burrito. These guys did not disappoint. Every box was checked and even a little red onion in there was a great touch. I’m just passing through but I’ll be by again when I’m on the road. Worth a stop.

One of the best Taco Trucks I have been to. I’ve ate here two days in a row and both times the food was great. The prices are also cheap, So good food for a great price. There is also seating available if you want to eat there. They do have a fan and a portable AC in the seating area. The area is clean and well kept. No homeless or shady people hanging around. The cashier/hostess is very nice and respectful. Glad I found this place while I’m here in Bakersfield, will definitely be my go to place.

The cheese can be too much if you don't like a lot of cheese I had one with and without My partner had steak tacos - so for the best tacos of this road trip Arizona to California and back Thank you Birra Bros Plus the price was a flash back to what tacos cost in the early 2000s

The quesatacos are what you come here for. They are the best I've had in town. I took a star off because the consome is sold separately which is annoying because what is birria without consome?? Also took the star off because the rice and beans in the combo plate were super meh - cold ish upon arrival and lacked flavor IMO. Their outdoor seating has been updated to the side of the building and is cute and quaint, but cold in the winter and blazing in the summer. It would be nice if they found and brick and mortar space soon.

Just flew into California and who doesn't want a good authentic taco truck? So happy I was able to find this gem on Yelp and were 5 mins away. The service was great, we got there around 4:30pm got our food very quick and it was all delicious. Seems to be two young brothers running the show. The prices are incredible make sure you order at least two mulitas since I only got one and wanted more. The only problem I saw was there wasn't a tip option when I used my credit card. Luckily I had cash. The prices are beyond reasonable so please tip!!

When I saw this taco truck offers keto tacos , I had to try them. The taco truck is connected to the most adorably decorated patio. It would be great for lunch with coworkers or just a relaxing moment alone . The street the truck is on is busy , but the patio feels secluded and cozy. You order at the stand on the patio and are given a buzzer to wait . The menu has great options , and many interesting looking drinks . I ordered birria keto tacos with onions , cilantro and a side of consume . The price was affordable and the wait wasn't long at all . I enjoyed the visit and would recommend.

My personal experience is different to most. I don't eat beef so I went to try out their pork tacos. Personally I found the tacos very greasy and hard. The strawberry Agua Fresca was quite tasty. The outdoor seating was decent for a couple pictures.

Came here for a quick lunch, and it was delicious. Their service was fast and friendly. Seating was outdoors, in a cute enclosed area. Their lunch special included three tacos, rice, and beans for $10, which I thought was a great deal! My friend and wife both ordered double rice instead of beans (I'd probably do that next time as well). The el pastor tacos were bomb, and I enjoyed their birria. They have a little self-serve station where you could get extra cilantro, cucumbers, onions, radishes, and salsa. I also had their horchata, and loved it. It came in a huge cup. I'd definitely come back to try more things!

These guys are amazing and to see where they are now from where they started makes me happy for them. Their food is amazing, but their catering service is on point. They drive out to the Shafter hangers to provide a most delicious meal for our Search and Rescue team. Everything was terrific. From the rice to the horchata. If you need a great meal and opt for Birria, I would recommend Birria Bros. any day. And if you don't need catering, swing by their location in Brundage for a bite. Cute location with ample seating and quick service.

Top notch Mexican fast food! We've been ordering the Birria taco plate and the asada burrito and we've enjoyed it every time. We even took family from out of town over the weekend and they loved it, couldn't stop raving about the tacos and burritos. It's the best fresh and flavorful Mexican fast food you can get in the southwest of bakersfield especially if you like queso tacos and Birria, it can't be beat. Service is fast and easy and we always do takeaway/drive thru/ delivery so I can't say much about the restaurant itself but we've been happy every time we order from here.

Real deal yum factory right here! Birria is packed with flavor, consume is delicious, red sauce is spicy. Also tried the burrito, and it was filled fat with meat and the rest of the mission mix of flavors. Can't go wrong with solid queso-tacos and these were really good. They didn't just pass as a solid nosh, they were super good. They offer meal delivery service, but with the parkway it is not too far from anyplace in town.

So fire!!! Even after a 40 minute door dash wait. The food Was still absolutely delicious. 10 out of 10 would recommend. No pic because I ate the food and sat in amazement for 2 minutes before I typed this review.

The location is a taco truck adjacent to a building with outside seating. You order food at an outside counter. Food is prepared and picked up at the taco truck. On our visit, we ordered the Queso taco plate and birria ramen. Everything was flavorful and delicious! Their rice alone is bomb. The beans were flavored with what tasted like cayenne pepper (a little too much for my liking). The tacos were tasty. The taco shell had a hard chewy texture (not crispy). That would be my only con to this trip. The birria ramen must have been amazing because my husband ate it all before I could get a bite in haha. We also tried the red and green salsa. Not as spicy as we like (we love spicy food) but good. Food was prepared quickly After ordering. Will keep this spot in mind for a future visit to try the birria ramen.

On the drive back from Vegas to the Bay, we stumbled across this birria taco place. It is a small store with a shaded outside seating. We ordered on the counter and picked up our food at the food truck. We got birria quesadillas and birria torta. Their birria was delicious. It was tender and has great flavor with the consome. The Al pastor and carne asada was good as well. The prices were very reasonable and much better compared to Bay Area pricing. Definitely get the horchata. It was so good we went back and got a strawberry horchata for the remaining drive back. The strawberry horchata tasted homemade and they used actual strawberry for the flavoring. Servers were nice and got us a good amount of sauces. Would recommend!

They have a good setup. Clean environment. Definitely not bad but nothing out of this world either.

Ambiance was pleasant. Eating area was clean and orderly. Young man on cashier (Miramonte HS=) was helpful, polite and patient, as this was our first visit. Food was out in a fair amount of time (we opted for take out). Home was where the deciding consensus would be made, AND... it was an all out thumbs up from each fam member. Order was correct (that's kind of a big deal these days!) Good flavor. Good food! Good beverages! Everyone loved it!! We'll be repeat customers for sure! Give Birria Bros a try - you won't regret it!

Love this place, they have such good prices and the birria is bombbbb. I usually door dash but this time I stopped by in person and it is pretty cute. They have a little seating area for people that is well lit at night

Went here again like right before close and the service was amazing. It's been a while since I went there but the food was amazing just like the previous time I went. I also got the birria Quesadilla again and they gave me a free consome with it which was really appreciated since it goes really good with it. Since they changed location, they now have a really nice dining area to eat in which was decorated really nicely as well as having the little station for all the sides and condiments. Overall still really great place for birria and one of my favs in town

The food was fresh, hot and delicious! I loved the Birria Quesotacos and the Mango & Dragonfruit Lemonade! I loved the patio experience as well, with the lights and everything l. The service was good, too.

They were ok. I have had better birria tacos in town. They were fast for being as busy as they were. It is a taco truck with a covered area for seating, which is ok, if it is not hot.

Not the best birria, but good. Would come back again. Definitely didn't like where the tables to eat are set up. Too close to the busy street.

I was in the mood for Birria when I was in Bakersfield. Now there's quite a few spots and I've tackled down 2 and both spots were good so we are 2 for 2. This place is on Ming ave right off a busy street. It does NOT have inside seating. BUT it has a drive thru but I know it's not like a fast food kinda one. They do take their time making the food. They have a couple seats for outside seating. They also have Italian food so it's like a double restaurant. I just want to start off with the customer service. I was impressed. The look of the establishment you aren't expecting exceptional service but the cashier was friendly and so was other staff. I had ordered and horchata it was super sweet so I asked if I can change it. She let me keep the drink and get another of my choice no problem. As we were waiting on the food they had fruit parfaits that were made yesterday that didn't sell and gave them to me. They only like to sell Freshly made parfaits! The food: was good ESPECIALLY the quesadilla. The tacos were good too but I wasn't the fan of the beans and rice it came with on the side. All in all I would definitely come back and I highly Recommend stopping by here

The food is always great! Generous portions. I ordered the birria (4) tacos plate with rice and beans. I shared with a friend and I still had leftovers. The tacos are so delicious with the consommé and very filling. I liked their patio dining area it was nice and cool in February. Service was fast and easy to order at the cashier stand and get my food from the taco truck. They hand out round pagers to notify when your order is ready.

BEST. TACO. IN. TOWN! Adding the consomé to dip the tacos and burrito in was next level. It's no surprise the Birria Bros. were voted as best taco in town. I've been told to get over to try them out for a while, and I'm glad I did. The Lara family that owns and operates the business are fantastic, nice, and take the time to explain the menu. My wife had never really had birria before, so she was pleasantly surprised by it. Quick tip: you gotta eat the taco ASAP for the best possible taste and texture. We had 4 quesatacos with consomé, a burrito, and a strawberry horchata (which was amazing). The price was spot on, and each person will be full with 2 quesatacos, rice and beans, or half a burrito. We'll be back soon!

Have had the quesabirria tacos before and are always consistent and delicious. I went last night and ordered the birria burrito for my son and it was amazing! Will definitely be back!

Do yourself a favor and visit Birria Bros. ... right now. I'm from Fresno and, passing through, I made the short drive off the 99 to see for myself whether the uniformly great reviews could possibly be true. They are. I had three Birria tacos at a mere $3 apiece. Consumme, I think, is an extra $2. The tacos are loaded with meat and bursting with flavor. No fat, no gristle. There's a cute outdoor dining area that has a decided bistro feel. This place is the real deal, and it won't break the bank. The bros themselves are super kind and excellent at what they do. We all need to do our part by patronizing Birria Bros. and spreading the word. I will be visiting, and visting again, during my drives between Fresno and L.A. Thank me later.

I wanted to check out what the hype was about so we decided to have it for dinner one day. I'm definitely a fan of the mulita, taco and their quesadilla. I tried their burrito and wasn't a big fan, so don't know if I would get the burrito again. I did hear they have tortas here, but I did not see it on their menu, so you'll probably have to ask for it. The birria was good and I would definitely want to go back to try it again, but the wait time is extreme. There's such a long line and by the time you order and then get your food, you probably waited a good 2hrs to get your food. I don't know if I would want to wait that long anymore . With so many different food trucks and restaurants now serving birria, not really sure if the wait time is worth it. Don't take my word for it though, try it out for your own experience. I heard this place sells out all the time, so compared to the other places, this might be your favorite birria spot. I don't know if they take food orders over the phone, but this may be your option if you decide to check them out. Not sure how safe 6ft distance is being practiced at this place because everyone is right next to each other lined up. Yes they have hand sanitizer out there and I think it's okay as long as you have your masks on, but I think the lines are too close together and then the lines are not organized. Once the line gets long, it's kind of all over the place. Other than that, once you do get your food, I'm sure you'll love it.

First of all, this was my first time coming here. The price is amazing, with everything so over inflated. It was nice to see that the meals are priced reasonably. My taco had so much meat in it and cheese. I got full with one taco. He's got little tables to sit outside and it's really nice and quiet and clean. I recommend this place

Ordered ahead, got the 4 taco plate, what a great deal, $13 for 4 birria tacos and rice and beans. I received the food quickly. The tacos and the rice were good, but wasn't a big fan of the beans. They were spicy whole pintos beans and were red from the spice I'm guessing. Overall a great experience

My friends & I must've dropped by at the right time because there wasn't a huge line. Prices are really reasonable as well. We all ordered a variation of tacos. Some of us ordered a plate. Others were a la carte. I ordered a regular and a Keto taco. They were quite tasty. I blew my diet on them - it was totally worth it. I also tried the blueberry lemonade which was pretty decent. If you're in the area, check it out. They're in a strip mall near the corner of H street.

5 star Birria and consome but my guess is the wrong person was placed on the assembly line with the tortillas. Both our tacos and mulita had oil drenched tortillas so the final execution of plating was wrong. super disappointed, not only because i really looked forward to good food but at 9pm it was still 104 degrees and the food takes a long time.

A++ Dip it, Drink it, Dance with it the Consome is the life of the party. Seen on Instagram and drove 4 hours. Hype is legit. The Quesotacos are great but the melted cheese may be too thick and choke-ish for sensitive throats or children if so then grab the regular tacos they are amazing too, Dip the tacos is the broth and you will be blown away. Quesadilla is to us the best pound for pound item to dip in the stew broth (consome) so pay $3 and get extra sauce it's worth it. Raspberry Lemonade hit the spot awesome overall this place is a great gem. Honest truth Rice and Beans were not special and actually tasted boring but I was not there for that. Hands down so far best Mexican food truck I have been to out of 40+ lifetime trucks.

Food was OK. The consommé was not as flavorful as one would expect from an authentic birrieria. Beans and rice were adequate but nothing to write home about. Not sure why they're popular.

Finally I got the chance to try it! The tacos are really yummy, they give you a lot of meat and a lot of cheese on the quesabirria tacos. The consomé is also very savory and delicious. I only tried the red hot sauce and definitely loved it. The tacos have the perfect crunch !!!! Also, definitely recommend the horchata drink! Soooo goooood ! Customer service, amazing the guy was very helpful. The line does get quite long and busy but worth the wait!!! Trust me! Pricing is on the higher side but you pay for quality(: I'll definitely be going back! 10/10 recommend!

Several visits and each time I have been pleasantly surprised with consistent quality and flavor. If you have been waiting to visit Birria Bros, do yourself a favor and visit this place. I can't wait to return and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Bakersfield, CA. YOU have to go! It's the cutest little spot with amazing food. The burrito is freaking delicious I can't get enough of the flavor, and the flour tortilla that holds it together is Amazing!!! If a burrito is too much food for you then a taco plate will fit the bill. Served with perfectly cooked rice and beans. The only down side to this place is the hours. Sometimes, I am craving this place, and they are not open. Definitely check the hours and plan accordingly before visiting this location. The service we received was amazing. They know what they're doing and what they're talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. We will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.

Their birria menu options are simple but tasty, so much so that at 5 PM, myself and 6 other cars are patiently waiting for them to set up shop for when they open at 6PM. Definitely worth the wait! Don't play yourself, pay them a visit.

Hands down the best Birria burrito I've ever had! The flavor is amazing. I recommend buying 2 so you can eat it tomorrow as well. The burrito comes with rice, onion, cilantro, beans, cheese (which is so tasty and stringy) and birria. I put lime and salsa on every bite and escalated the already spectacular taste of the burrito. The green salsa was very tasty but lacked heat. The red salsa was a tad bit hotter so I mixed both of them in my burrito and loved every bite. 10/10 would buy 2 burritos next time I go.

Check their hours before you go! New to the area so I'm still looking for the best places to dine at but I'm glad I found Birria Bros through Yelp! The actual truck is red and it's in a parking lot with about 15 spots so parking may be an issue depending on when you plan on coming. I came when it opened at 6pm on a Friday and there was plenty of parking. There's a pretty simple menu of 6 items, all featuring their delicious birria meat so you can't really make a wrong decision! Since it was my first time I wanted to try multiple things so I ordered two tacos, one quesotaco, one mulita, and a small consomé - which all added up to $13, not too bad. The tacos were good but a little bland if you don't eat it with hot sauce. The red salsa they have went well with everything I ordered. I like how they have a self serve area where you can get as much onions, cilantro, and salsas as you desire. Ultimately, I enjoyed the mulita and quesotaco more than the tacos because of the cheese! I will definitely be coming back to try the burrito and quesadilla.

Tried a burrito with everything, mulita with everything, birria tacos and consume'. All with a horchata to wash it down. Food was amazing and the staff was courteous and wonderful. The truck definitely does birria well. I would recommend and will be returning!

I've never had a birria taco before, don't think my daughter has either, but while out driving she kept seeing birria advertised at a fast food taco place, kept dropping hints she wanted to try a birria, after all day telling her fast food sucks, later on that night I asked if she was still craving a birria that she admitted she never had, she said yes, so I said let's go, but I wasn't about to go to a fast food spot, I found the birria bros. on Yelp and knew exactly where their located, got there and the guy in the window helped me out on what's their best seller (the tacos...duh) my daughter had the quesadilla, we both had the broth, my tacos were delicious with the broth or with the green sauce, my daughter absolutely loved her quesadilla large serving for a great price, it's safe to say that I just might have saved the entire birria industry by not having my daughter try fast food birria first, could've been all bad! Lol
