I've been waiting for Birria Landia to open up in Flushing because I haven't got to trying it in their other locations. I came during their grand opening, so I received a free carne asada taco with any purchase. I ordered the birria taco ($4.75 each), consume (small $6), mulitas ($6).
The birria taco came with 2 corn shells filled with stew shredded beef, onions, cilantro, their sauce, along with a slice of lime on the side. I enjoyed it with the savory consume, drenched in lime juice, and drizzled the hot sauce on top.
The carne asada and mulitas was not great in my opinion. The taco meat and shell were dry. The
mulitas seemed promising since it is made with chopped birria, onion, cilantro, sauce melted mozzarella, and grated cheese, but all I tasted was cheese. I think overall the price is a little steep compared to other taco places I have tried and enjoyed.
