These are amazing birria tacos. It's some of the best ones I've ever had. Their burritos are very good as well. The tacos are small, but they taste amazing. I can eat like 10 of these.

Google
Tasty Birria in a Korean Mall... I wasn't expecting that, but it was a win. The Birria Consume was delish as was the Chicken Birria. Everything was good, and quasi quick... I can't complain. I'd eat again.

Google
I tried everything on the first day of opening. The tacos and consome were great—rich and flavorful. The other two felt average, maybe because I’m not a fan of cheese. Prices are a bit high, likely due to the mall location. Food trucks might be cheaper.

The consomme is the best thing. You can put it on anything and it will taste amazing. The consomme has entire pieces of meat in it. The Birria tacos are good, but without adding the consomme, you won't get that full fresh flavor. Service was fast, about 5 min for 2 tacos and consomme and it is displayed on their screen along with text message if you use the kiosk. Cool place to hang out with lots of seating in this food court. Ratings: Birria tacos 8/10 Consomme 10/10

Google
Tacos are a hit or miss most times. Sometimes the flavor is on point and sometimes they are salty. Extremely overpriced. They use the smallest size tortillas at $4.75 each. Unfortunately we had to clean our own table; and that was a big turn off. The floor and tables are filthy. You can do a lot better at Los Tacos No.1 in Manhattan. Or street tacos in Roosevelt avenue at 103rd Street.

I was hungry, saw that Birria Landia finally opened. Tacos were superb. Let me tell you, these tacos are delicious with the purple onions, their spicy red hot salsa and lime. This is gonna be my spot to come for tacos from now on. Let me tell you, don’t eat the tacos from the truck that is on Main St, dont know their name, but dont eat them…it’s better to come here and enjoy these delicious tacos. The meat was tender and savory, the tortilla had the prefect crunchiness and softness. Make sure you eat your tacos with a glass bottle Coca Cola, that’s the perfect combination.

I’ve been to Birria-Landia at Tangram a few times now, and it never disappoints. The tacos and mulita are always on point, super flavorful and cooked just right. It’s a little pricey, but honestly the quality makes it worth it. Glad to finally have a solid spot like this in Flushing that isn’t a repeat of everything we already have for once. Much needed variety!

Yelp
Loved it. The taste is great (as expected), and the dining experience inside the modern Tangram mall is much more pleasant than eating next to a food cart. The cashier lady is also quite nice. Remember to bring cash to avoid the credit card extra charge. I read a few reviews that say food is on the salty side, but I feel the tacos & Chicken Quesabirria & tostadas all taste just right. The beef stew soup (consomé) does taste a little salty to me, but that's because I directly drank from it -- if I use it for dipping then no issue at all. Will definitely come back from time to time and try different menu options.

Yelp
BLUF: Tasty; small portions; very salty. Birria-Landia, which popularized birria tacos in New York City starting with a food truck in Jackson Heights, Queens, has branched out to open several brick-and-mortar locations, including this one inside Tangram Mall's Food Court in Downtown Flushing. We visited twice and ordered: - Beef Birria Tacos: $4.75 each; $5.17 with tax. - Beef Consommé, small: $6.00; $6.53 with tax. - Mulita: $6.00 each; $6.53 with tax. - Chicken Birria Tacos $4.50 each; $4.90 with tax. - Chicken Consommé, small: $6.00; $6.53 with tax. Get the consommé. The tacos and their variations, such as the mulita tacos, may be purchased without consommé, but the consommé is an important pairing that provides moisture and tang. The chicken tacos in particular were dry without the consommé. While Birria-Landia is worth trying at least once, the food here is very salty. Although we found the beef tacos were less salty and the beef birria less acidic than what we've had from the original Jackson Heights food truck, the small portions and overall saltiness of the food means that we'll remain occasional customers. Other: There is an approximate 5% fee for card payments. Tangram Mall provides cafeteria style seating and restrooms, but be forewarned that those restrooms are poorly maintained.

Yelp
I am so excited the owners opened a storefront since I could never make it to their food trucks. This is a new location right in the Tangram mall. Very accessible if you are in downtown Flushing. I was greeted by a beautiful young ladies who was excited to introduce their birria to me. I was able to quickly order and wait. In about 5 minutes or so my food was ready for pick up. There were plenty of seating in the food court. The food comes with a side of pickled onions & hot sauce. I took my tacos, dip in that flavor bomb consommé and took a bite. Hmmm... The meat is tender and juicy, the broth is savory but not too salty like some places I've been to. It is authentically good!! Will come for more for sure!!!

Yelp
Never made it to the famous Jackson Heights food truck that other Yelpers keep talking about in their reviews. But never mind that, their first physical location is finally opened inside the Tangram Mall in Flushing! The outer appearance is similar to a food truck complete with two tires which I thought it's pretty cute because they did start off as a food truck back then. Customers can order either on the kiosk or at the counter. They accept both cash and card as forms of payment. Female staff is super friendly, helpful and patient in explaining to me about the variety of tacos on the menu. What I'd Ordered: 2x Asada (Beef) Tacos (1 pc each) - $9.50 1x Chorizo (Pork Sausage) Taco (1 pc) - $4.75 1x Guacamole and Chips - $7.00 1x Jarritos Mexican Orange Soda - $3.00 Food came out very fast in 5-6 mins. You wait for the # on the receipt to be called out by the staff. Your order is also shown on the LED screen as well as getting a text message when it's ready. The tacos would cost more than the food truck because it's inside the convenience of a mall. And since it's at a food court, you don't have to worry about not being able to find a restroom/wash your hands nor searching for a place to sit down to enjoy your food. A food court solves all of that because the bathroom is right around the corner and there're plenty of tables and chairs spread out in the area. 1) Beef Tacos: Tender + flavorful + not too salty. Just wished that the meat pieces could've been bigger in size. 2) Pork Sausage Taco: Tender & flavorful but seems to be saltier than the beef. Little bit spicy too but that gives it a kick. The meat can be bigger in chunks. The combo of diced onions + tomatoes + cilantro gives off a refreshing taste. The guacamole is fresh and creamy on top of the meat inside the tacos. I feel like it would have been a good deal if they can do 3 tacos for $12-13 like other taco spots in the city. 3) Guac & Chips: The guacamole is creamy and has enough amount as a dip for the crunchy & not too salty chips. 4) Jarritos Mexican Orange Soda: Tastes like any orange soda out there but looks slicker in a bottle. I think Birria Landia does stand out and bring something different to the table because other eateries and restaurants next door and inside Tangram are mainly of Asian cuisines.

Yelp
Yay! Finally a good taco place in Downtown Flushing. My boyfriend and I are always on the hunt to try authentic tacos but it's usually always a trip outside of Flushing. Apparently, this place started out as a food truck which I have never been to before they started opening actual storefronts. The pricing is a bit steep because it's located inside the Tangram Food Court, but it's absolutely worth it if you want to save time. I got the Boing Guava Juice, Birria Chicken Taco, Chorizo Taco, and the Birria Beef Taco. The Chorizo Taco was my least favorite but it was still good especially with the guacamole on it. The taco with birria beef was very flavorful and good, but my favorite had to be the Birria taco with chicken because of the crisp tortilla. The guava juice is very concentrated and not too sweet. Will definitely be back to satisfy my taco cravings. The place has 2 kiosks for you to order on your own and even so there's a long wait. Just in time for you to scavenge a seat in the food court!

Yelp
When I heard that Birria Landia was opening an actual location I was super excited. I been a huge fan of their Jackson heights truck since 2020 but hate it that I could never get their food before 5pm since that's when the truck opens. This location its located in the mall's food court. We got 3 tacos, a mulita and a small consome. Once you order they have a screen with your order number and name telling you long is your wait. Our food took about 10 mins to come out. Everything was delicious but I did find it a tad bit spicier than the food from the truck. I'm super happy to have another location to get amazing Birria tacos

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this taco, so glad it's now open in flushing. So convenient and Chill inside the mall, what a great addition to the already awesome food court. I got the taco, torta and small consume. I get why it's so popular. Everything is so flavorful. First time eating Birria taco, and I'm a fan. I do like the torta a little bit more. Don't miss the consume! I saw people ordering just the taco, feel so wrong IMO

Yelp
Omg, I've been watching this place for monnnthhhss waiting for it to finally open in Tangram mall. Stopped by today and saw it was open, and ran, didn't walk, to grab some birria tacos. I tried their chicken one. I ate it so fast, I didn't even get a picture. So flavorful, spicy, tangy onions, nice green sauce. Delicious!! Excited to see more diverse food options at Tangram!

Yelp
Newly opened 1st Brick & Mortar spot for Birria Landia. Was in the area and saw that there was no line (4:30 PM on Mother's Day), so decided to try them out. You can order at the counter or at the kiosk. I opted to order at the counter. The service was friendly. I paid with card and my receipt has an "operating fee" of $1.06, so maybe pay with cash. The order status screen initially showed 13 minutes for my order to be ready but it only took 3 minutes. I got 3 Tacos and a small Consomme. At $4.75 a taco (before the taxes and fees!), they feel a little small. The flavor is great with the added Consomme, pickled onions and hot sauce. The meat was tender and not dry. The tortilla held together after the 1 hour it took for me to get home and eat. The Consomme has a couple big chunks of meat in it. The saltiness of the broth was balanced with the pickled onions. I could have used another lime to balance the flavors even more. The hot sauce has a good kick to it, and the pickle onions had a tiny bit of spicy as well. Overall happy to see Birria Landia here, since it is more convenient then trekking it to their food trucks, but you're definitely paying extra for that convenience. I'd really only get if I was craving birria tacos.

Yelp
SO HAPPY THIS CAME TO FLUSHING! I would take the train to Jackson heights back then to get these tacos and I'm glad it's in Tangram now. However, the prices are higher than the truck but that's understandable as now they have to pay rent to Tangram. We went on grand opening day so we received a free item as well. I wish I knew because I ordered 3 tacos and a consommé already lol service was quick and there's plenty of seating at the Tangram food court. Turnover is quick so it's easy to find seats Taste just as good as the food truck!

Yelp
The birria tacos were delicious and came out pretty fast. Great option for a quick bite while shopping in Tangram

Yelp
This Birria Landia Location is located inside a mall on the 2nd floor food hall in Flushing NY. Highly recommend trying this spot as their tacos and consume are so flavorful. Service is hospitable, they take your order at the counter and call when your order is ready. Plenty of seating around as it's a food hall. I went on a Tuesday afternoon around lunch time and found plenty of seating. Highly recommend this location!

Yelp
Birria Landia finally opens in the Tangram Mall food court! Grand opening was announced today, May 9th but was able to get food there the previous night (might've been a soft opening). I first had Birria Landia at their food truck in Jackson heights, I'm glad they opened another location so the travel isn't as far. Onto food, 3 tacos and small sized consomme totaled to $23.10 (included tax and used credit card). Onto food first thing I noticed was that it was less oily though I don't know if it's due to my ordering in the past from their food truck ahead of time. But overall it's delicious and it hits the spot for when I get a taco craving. Service was great, the girl at the register was pleasant and briefly explained about their order system. There's going to be a screen at the pick up area that shows the status of your order. You'll also get text message notification. Ambiance wise, it's within a food court. Of course don't expect fine dining, but you can get a seat and table unlike if you were to get food from their truck. Overall recommend, Birria Landia definitely brings something new to the table for Tangram!

Yelp
Waited so long for this place to open in Tangram and it's finally open! Now I no longer have to trek all the way to Jackson Heights (after 5pm) to try out their food truck. But oof...prices are kind of high. The birria taco item on the menu shows 3 tacos so I thought it was $4.75 for 3. How silly of me because you can't even get tacos for that price at Taco Bell. It's $4.75 for ONE small taco!! Taste-wise, it was good though. Loved the meat and all the herbs and spices that they added to the taco. Forked over another $6 for their consome and, again, very flavorful and loved the huge chunks of birria meat in the soup, but rather pricy. Server was very friendly. Glad I finally got to try this famous birria taco place but will probably opt for a more wallet friendly option in the mall next time.

Yelp
After visiting the O.G truck in Jackson Heights.I was excited for them to open a storefront location at Tangram Mall but not only did it open super late compared to other restaurants. The food was a let down the tacos were super small and the price wasn't worth it. My food was cold and the size was so small and their menu offers things they don't even have !

Yelp
I've been waiting for Birria Landia to open up in Flushing because I haven't got to trying it in their other locations. I came during their grand opening, so I received a free carne asada taco with any purchase. I ordered the birria taco ($4.75 each), consume (small $6), mulitas ($6). The birria taco came with 2 corn shells filled with stew shredded beef, onions, cilantro, their sauce, along with a slice of lime on the side. I enjoyed it with the savory consume, drenched in lime juice, and drizzled the hot sauce on top. The carne asada and mulitas was not great in my opinion. The taco meat and shell were dry. The mulitas seemed promising since it is made with chopped birria, onion, cilantro, sauce melted mozzarella, and grated cheese, but all I tasted was cheese. I think overall the price is a little steep compared to other taco places I have tried and enjoyed.

Yelp
They finally opened!! Yay!!! They were supposed to open last year but there were some hiccups - better late than never... . I never made it to their taco truck - I know, shocking!!! I've only heard great things about them..they've expanded so that's a good sign... . Tacos: a tad small if you ask me, and for $4.75, it's over $5 with the tax. It's a good taco, I can't say it blows my mind. The meat was very moist and tender. And because it's on the small side, you don't get too many bites, and being my first time trying, I can't say it was enough to get a true tasting. . Consommé- no this was off the hook. We got a small for $6, and it way too much for 2 tacos. It's probably enough for 10+ tacos. The consommé is deep, rich and beefy. It is truly the star, without it, I don't think the taco would taste as good. I would get just the consommé. It comes with a decent about of meat in it too. Chun ate the rest like a soup. Probably a tad too salty for a soup in my opinion. The next time I make tacos at home, I'm gonna pickup some consommé . I can't compare this to their food truck(s) since I've never had it. I think overall it's good and I'm glad it's here in Flushing. Tuesdays will never be the same. . I also noticed prices varies by location, based on what I found on google maps.

Yelp
I've been eating Birria Landia for a long time at the Jackson Heights location. I was so excited when they opened up in Tangram. There is a noticeable difference in the beef. The consomé is incredibly greasy. To the point that it's almost inedible. The consomé seems to be just made up of the leftover trimmings and fat of the beef. At the Jackson Heights location it is literally beef in the consomé. Here, it's mainly fat. We had to stop eating it because the grease was just too much. Same for the tacos. This is how you lose the clientele. Making small changes to save money and charging more, but the loyal customers do notice.

Yelp
Went to see if the hype was warranted. It definitely had flavor, but every item was a bit too salty. The soup was too salty to finish. Three tacos and soup made for an okay dinner-sized portion. The Asada was the standout. Return visit? Probably not. Also, not worth the price.

J W.

Yelp
Portions are quite small for the price. Best one was the taco. Consomé was extreme salty, but paired well with the other items. Glad we tried it. Everything was packaged well to go.

Jenny H.

Yelp
Nicely seasoned tacos...consommé was a bit salty by itself but perfect for dipping the tacos. Tacos a bit pricy for the size. No complaints other than that.
