Fast, friendly service....delicious tacos. Came down tonight to have dinner and some beer at Mike Hess North Park. Was lucky to get tacos....they were running out. Only Birrieria tacos left, but that's what I wanted. They did not disappoint. You can have mild to spicy and a bowl of sauce. Big bold flavors that blend together to make a mouth watering delight. If you come down to Hess, don't leave without trying the tacos!

What a fantastic experience that was! The tacos were out of this world! Perfect! I got to take a gastronomical trip from the sea to the mountains and I loved every second of it! I'm new to San Diego, and I just found the best tacos I've ever had...... And I eat A LOT of tacos

Want some mind melting birria? Be forewarned: you'll always want another taco. Crisp, chewy, cheesy, and all the right flavors. For a place with one menu item I've never left so pleased. You can choose between mild and hot. Enjoy!

I had a nice chat with the owner while they wer setting up shop about the birria spots around town and how he rates them and we agree witch ones wer good and witch ones weren't then i smelled the birria omg (so good) i only planned on eating one with my beer but plans change cause when i bit into that delicious spicy taco i took 3 more tacos and a plate to go. Im definitely going back i swear i can still taste the birria in my mouth hours later the 5 star rating is legit

I got to try their spicy taco at the Grand Fiesta event in Liberty Station and it was just beyond amazing and I've never had a taco like it! Sold and now I want to try more!
