Best place ever. Super affordable, birria always tastes great and meat is cooked so tenderly. Never had to wait long to order either. I grew up eating at this place and the quality has remained just as good as before.

Loved!! I placed an order for pick up through phone and it was ready within 5 minutes. I got 7 tacos, and a quesabirria and a drink. The sauce was amazing and spicy.

I stumbled upon this place by accident, and it was totally worth it. The goat with consomé was incredibly flavorful and prepared just right — seasoned beautifully. This might just be my new go-to spot. I got the full order, and it came with fresh-made flatbreads on the side.

Good food, but the burritos are small and skimpy. they should charge more and give a good fat burrito.

The food here is the delicious, our favorites are the tacos de birria con frijoles, Sopes de pastor 😋. If your kids don't like, you can always get them a hamburger or cheese burger those are also good. You'll be sure and leave with your food secured in a box. Lol

I love the service and they have the best Mexican food here they know me since i was 13 i recommend going to this Mexican restaurant

I ordered a small birria de chivo, a small nacho, and a large horchata. All that for just under $20. The birria was good, I got the rec from YouTube or something I don't remember. But the handmade tortillas were so good. And the surprise star was their BEANS! Omg the beans were so good. I cannot believe how that isn't what they're known for. Go. And get the beans. And you're welcome.

They have birria de chivo and birria de res. My parents love the birria de chivo bowls. I ordered the birria de res quesabirria and super tacos. Really good. Everything. They take cash and charge you a fee for credit card.

Was my go to place when I lived around the area. Last couple times disappointed today was last straw. Older gentleman served my to go plate. And for odd reason other employee took it was to the back and came back with half the amount he put in there poured the caldo to top off. Seemed weird saw him go back and came with plate of what I'm assuming he took off and pour what he took off onto tray to resell Got home and to my surprise ver little left and mostly FAT. Had been craving them but way better places out here. The beans are bomb here alway have to get the nachos.

One of if not the best birria I've had in the US!! The best staff hands down that always have their customers best interest in mind! Super solid team there and the food is amazing no matter what you get on the menu! 10/10 recommend you wont be disappointed!

Great food. Got the birria de chivo (goat) and res (beef) and it was amazing. Yummy homemade tortillas and the salsa was on point. Dip the taco you roll up into the caldo and you'll have one of the most satisfying bites you'll ever experience. Great staff as well, the people are amazing and funny. Five stars easily. Just fyi, they close at 6pm not 8.

Birrieria Jalisco is as consistent as a rolex. I hadn't been in 10 years and treated myself to a bowl of birria de chivo and tacos recently, that were as good as i remember!!! I will definitely be back soon...and their house made salsa is one of a kind and delicious!!!!

Food are delicious and people are nice here. I didn't know much about Mexican food, so Iasked them to recommend some traditional food for me. The goat soap plate they suggested really tastes good. The rice water is a little bit sweet for me, but the flavor is special, so it's good to try. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

We are not from Compton, so we don't know a lot of places around. I just googled what's closest. The place didn't look like much but we were delighted. Between the whole family we tasted carne asada tortas, tostada de carnitas, tacos and birria de res. EVERYTHING was great! Food was flavorful! I would totally recommend you come here. The service exceeded my expectations, the staff was very attentive, and helpful! You will love it

Delicious. Authentic and reasonably priced. Things to know...When arrive, sit anywhere you like and they will take your order. The Birria is just like they serve it in Mexico, no rice and no beans sides. They sell booth Goat or Beef Birria

I found myself in this neighborhood and I was hungry like heck. Went in and was blown away by the freshness and the quality of the food as well as the great service that I got very friendly very nice. I particularly enjoyed the carne asada and I had a couple of delicious bowls of menudo. Probably the best menudo I've had since the last time I was in Mexico City. I would absolutely recommend them because it's not just your typical Taco shop this place has really great food can't wait to go back and try some of the other things on the menu.

Food was great! The service was impecable. They know exactly what they offer on the menu. They have a variety of different Birria. The ambiance is lovely. People of Mexican culture having a great time with good food.

I ordered through postmates from this place never been before and the meat looked like it's was days old very DRY and the sauce was HORRIBLE add water and stir gravy. Do not waste your money! I spent 27.69 on this garage!

I absolutely love this place it's a little hole in the wall and family operated so you know the food is fresh. Did I mention the hand made tortillas? They're the best with the hot broth from the birria to dip them in. They offer your traditional chivo and res birria along with other thing like burritos, tacos, tortas, nachos. My typical order consists of a birria de chivo en caldo con la carne más dorada (in my opinion it's more flavorful because it's roasted longer) with a side of the refried beans and rice. In the weekends it gets pretty filled with families so seating is limited.

I've been going to this birria spot since I was in my early teens. The owners and his employees have always been very friendly. I love their birria their menudo and their burritos everyone has their own taste in food but I truly recommend it

Best tacos de Birria. Get the tortilla hecha a Mano. 2-3 of these 2 will fill you up. Burrito mojados are so good. The nachos are soooo goood. The beans and rice are always so tasty s. Salsas are great.. pickled veg is great. Fam and I have a looonngg time coming here 10+Years. I had not been to the new location .. the old location was cute... they took over the old taco spot that was there years ago.. can't remember their name .. but I am proud this Mom and Pop place has been successful.. food is amazing and the service is quick. Buche Barbacoa and Birria are fav meats

Looking for tacos made with homemade tortillas?!?? This is the place to go, the tortillas are A-Mazing!!! This is a small place obviously known for their birrieria. The birrieria tacos are so juicy and delicious. I always order two but can never finish them as they are not some little taquitos but full size tacos because of the homemade tortillas. I absolutely love places like this, the food is excellent and prices are cheap. They moved across the street which was a good choice because the restaurant is a little bigger and nicer and there is a lot more parking.

Update your hours. Came here at 7pm on Tuesday and they were closed. Wasted my gas and time

It's edible however.. the broth tasted like fideo. Like pure knorr and tomatoes although the meat was good enough. Also they are cheap with their toppings charging $4 for extra onion. Plus they do not give tortillas if you take a pot for takeout. I mean everywhere you go they serve tortillas with birria not sure why they don't. Honestly, we like to support places that are not cheap. Those type of places deserve all the love and support. We'll be trying other places around this area.

Perfect little place. Makes you feel like at home. Fresh made corn tortillas. Very fast service. Food was hot. We had a little of everything, menudo, Birria de res and chivo, machaca con huevo and quesatacos. Family member recommended it as the best Birria in L.A it did not disappoint at all. Best consomé I have had!

So far the best Birria tacos I've had. But, I must say I've never had birria before this place but I've tried other after and they don't seem to be as good at this place. Highly recommend and the French fries are a must.

We've been going to this place for years and the food has always been ok. Today we decided to get birria because it's been a while. We got burritos de birria and they were disgusting. The meat was really bad the tortillas also. Everything was really bad today. We never had this experience before. I don't know what happened with their food and don't want to find out. Will not recommend this place to anyone else anymore. Probably seems harsh that after so many years we won't be back because of this one incident but there are plenty of Mexican restaurants around.

I've been craving birria for quite sometime and I finally got my fix today. They were fast and had great customer service. The hand made tortillas set the deal! I'm definitely coming back here.

This place has one of the best birrias in town. The super nachos are also good. The only bad thing is that they dont take credit cards, That sucks since we are in 2016 already move on guys!!

The food is great I come from el monte my family love their food but my experience today was not so great literally i waited 1hr..to get my food I notice that they attend the people they know first than us honestly not even in dennys u waited that long so its just my opinion and hope they consider everyone more because we are all paying customers.

Love this place. My bf introduced me to this place & I love everything about it. They have some bomb ass Birrieria can't go wrong with also varieties of other tasty goodies just soo good. The employees are so great & give u great food they are quick too especially if ur hungry lol It has seats inside & out that's what I love most too about it.

Awesome food. I love this place. Nice service and good food and great value. I recommend the Al pastor tacos. The regular tacos are good and small and the ones with the handmade tortillas are richer and more filling. I like them both. 5 stars as I am a sucker for places just like this.

Ordered through DoorDash and we'll never order again. The consume had no flavor and the meat tasted dry and flavorless. Pretty expensive and not worth it. We ordered 2 quesadillas, "large" order or birria and 4 extra tortillas and it totaled to $43. Maybe they were good before but not worth it in my opinion.

When contemplating what to eat during my lunch I hoped on yelp and found this restaurant. Looked at the reviews look pretty good so I went and I tried it the food was delicious and the service was good. I had the combination plate with rice and beans and birria and agua de Jamaica . I went with my coworker and he loved it as well. Will return for sure

This was amazing. Hands down best soup and combination plate I've had in a long time. From the customer service we got from the attendant at the register explaining everything to the actual meal. Wow so happy we drove by and found it!

The birria de chivo was ok... not great, I've had better in LA and in Mexico. Truth be old, I told Google to take me to Birrieria Jalisco, and it took me to the wrong one.

First time back in a while and So disappointed in the quality of service. Not only did we wait a while but we were given the wrong order. But didn't notice until we got home.

Highly recommend this spot! The food is delicious and the staff extremely friendly. My favorite is the birria with the hand made tortillas but everything else is also good. The tacos, burritos, nachos!! A must try!!

The birria is super good here our first time we came here we were greeted with kindness and service was over and beyond satisfactory, keep coming back and never had anything bad about them. I would really recommend everyone to at least come and try them because it never hurts to try new places

A true gem. If you happen to be in the area, stop in for some excellent mexican food. Side note: I would have posted a pic too, but burrito pics never do the burritos justice. Taste was mediocre, not worth the try, missing the authentic taste of Mexican food. Service was ok but a bit confused they have the board on the left hand side with the items to order. Need some small containers by the condiments bar.
