Food was hot and fresh. The male behind who kindly took the order was the same one who brought the food out. When he brought out the food he asked if I wanted a refill of my pineapple drink. This was the best food I’ve had this week.

Happy Hump Day! This little spot didn't hold back on the flavor. I had 3 queso birria tacos, and they smacked my face with flavor. Shoutout to the gentleman taking my order. He's a true professional. Do yourself a Favor and come taste the Flavor. 🤠

Best Birria we have had. It is our new must stop when we are on our way to Corona. Great customer service and food. I need to try the Fried Ice cream next.

This place is amazing. It was a little full. We waited probably a good 30 minutes for our food, but it was well worth it. The quesadilla was amazing. The nachos were delicious and the consume was perfect. The staff is super friendly, even with a crowded restaurant. The food was so good. They ran out of birria had to close the doors. You definitely have to go.

The birria tacos have so much meat in them, you almost think you’re ripping them off. The quesadilla birria taco is also delicious. I went to Birrieria Little Tijuana to check in on all the hype. The place is small, but it was completely full when I got there. Not a big deal, I ordered take out and got my food in about 20 mins, which I consider a good service. The food is served in sterofoam, doesn't matter if you eat in the restaurant or take it to go. The menu is simple, but I feel the name of the place pretty much tells you what you are going to get there. Why would you order anything else but Birrieria when that is the name of the restaurant?! The servers were friendly and all the workers I encountered had a pleasant disposition. Prices were a little high, but if you are the #1 rated taco on yelp , you have a right to charge more. I paid $22.37 for two dorado tacos, two quesadilla tacos, and an horchata. As far as the taste goes, the tacos were really good. Sorry, I don't think they are the best in California, but that is a subjective opinion. The problem is in California we are blessed with so much wonderful food, it is really hard to live up to the hype of being #1. Plus, in California we are constantly changing our #1s, so who knows if when you are reading this it will still be #1. I doubt I will drive across town to go to this place, but if I happen to be on the west side of town, almost in Corona, I wouldn't mind going again.

This is my first time checking out this spot... Birrieria tacos were amazing and the birrieria ramen was delicious we also ordered horchata and agua de pepino both very tasty. Ate the food before I even got the chance to get photos! We were put onto this spot from a client recommendation while on set during a production and was noted as "the number one best rated birria in California" so obviously we had to try it out. I came in with reserved expectations so I don't overhype a restaurant. One of the best spots for quesobirrias I have ever been to. My group and I was about to take our order to-go to eat on the road but realized how much of a mess that would have been with the mixture of bumpy roads and consomé. So after an awkward re-entry we were greeted kindly by the employee up front! The birria had tender meat and all of the fixings were plentiful and generously portioned. We also had the birria quesadillas and the cheese and beef were absolutely top quality. Agua fresca and horchata were fresh and flavorful and didn't feel diluted when we were served them. 10/10 hospitality from the staff as they were offering free refills for our agua frescas which tasted amazing and helped beat the heat after a long day of production. Interior was a quaint and there were enough tables to go around for the off-rush hours but I can definitely imagine how packed and crowded this place would be during their more popular hours. I would definitely come back to this spot if I am ever in SoCal again and would make the trek even if I'm a few cities away!

After hearing Birria Little Tijuana was crowned the taco overlord of California, I grabbed my stretchy pants and went in w high expectations and low sodium levels. We ordered the quesabirria and the birria ramen, which was... aggressively seasoned, let's say. Like, did the consomé and ramen packet have a salty little fistfight and both won? I've had better birria... I'm not saying it was horrible, but I can't say it's the best either... but the tacos? Solid!! Crunchy, juicy, like a meat hug in tortilla form. But that consomé in the birria ramen? Bruh.... Saltier than my worst enemy reading my food blog!! I took one sip and my tongue filed a complaint w HR. Still, flavor-wise... it was good. Just bring a gallon of water and maybe a blood pressure monitor. Sorry, I can't agree w the majority that this is the best birria around.

Holy. Mother. Of. Quesabirria. Tacos. This place has ruined me for life, in the best possible way. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's become a regular spot for us. The birria is so insanely good, nothing else even comes close now. And the birria ramen? YUM. I think of it often...and fondly. Run, don't walk, to get here. The owner? Freaking awesome. Every single person I've met who works here is just as great. The food will change your life, but fair warning: it will also destroy your ability to enjoy birria anywhere else ever again.

Nice little hole in the wall in Corona. We have stopped here twice on the way to the mountains, and it has not disappointed. I'm not a huge fan of birria style Mexican food, but the food here is a cut above the rest. The meat is tender and well seasoned. I've tried both the tacos and the torta which are both recommended. The portions are very generous. The torta was much larger than your standard sized torta which was about $10. My son had the bean and cheese burritos which was also quite large. Needless to say, we had leftovers, enough for another meal. Salsa is good, and has quite the kick.

I'm sitting here writing this review with a full and happy belly! This place often comes up as "the best birria spot", so I knew I had to try it! From the outside, it is small and unassuming, located in the middle of a little strip of businesses and a quiet parking lot. Inside is small but has plenty of seating available. Staff is friendly; a man greeted me happily when I walked in and quickly took my order. Having never been here, I wasn't sure what to expect as far as portion sizes or what orders include, so I started off with a quesabirria combo that includes beans and rice. I did not know before ordering but this includes 2 tacos! Be advised, it's a good portion of food. I asked what Agua Frescas they have today, and chose a pepin y Limon. It was cold, refreshing, and perfect on a hot day! The man taking my order let me know that the tacos do not include consomme, and a side of it was about $2. I added some to my order so I could dunk my tacos. The prices are not bad, but apparently what you see on the menu might not be accurate pricing. There is a note on the register that says prices are being updated. Just be aware of that; I paid about $21 or so for my meal, drink, and consomme together. Food arrived hot and fresh. The tacos are made with 2 corn tortillas so they don't fall apart so easily. They are also generously packed with the most succulent and delicious birria! The cup of consomme was far more than I needed for this; I wasn't sure how large it would be, but it seems to be at least a cup of liquid. I would love a "small" side option for just a little sauce cup, maybe 2-4oz, for a meal like this. Everything tasted delicious! The beans were perfect, too. My meal came with little sides of cilantro, diced onion, lime wedges, a small container of salsa, and I think some type of marinated or pickled red onions. I'm not certain what they were as I didn't try them. I immediately raved to one of my coworkers about this place and he said he comes here and really likes it too! I can't wait to get back here when I'm working in the area again.

Located in the outskirts of Riverside almost Home Gardens. Birria is definitely yummy and tender! This place only serves Birria no other meats. They offer so many food options from tacos, tortas, birria fries etc... Opted for the sopes and wasn't 100% impressed. The salsa also wasn't the best it was a little too chunky and not spicy. If a green salsa was also offered the plates would be even more delicious! Service was great - both owner and son were running the business and checking up on customers. Location also offers alcohol and aguas frescas.

Awesome experience at this local Riverside spot! I had heard they had the best tacos in the area, so couldn't wait to try them out. I ordered 2 Tacos Dorados and a Small Consume, and it was the perfect amount of food for me. They really pack the birria in the tacos, so I ended up having some extra meat to throw into the consume! Amazing portions that tasted great. The tacos also came with side of onions, cilantro, limes, and pickled red onions. The service was fantastic too. The cashier who rang me up and handed me my food was SO nice in wishing me a happy new year. Can't wait to return and support this local business!

So so good. I live in Anaheim and have been wanting to try this place for a while. I was on my way back from Temecula and realized they aren't too far from my drive back. So happy I did. My friend and I ordered the family platter and it did not disappoint. The birria was is juicy and tender, and the consume has great flavor. It's a must try if you're in the area.

The husband was off for Veterans Day and he had been wanting to try this place he seen on Instagram. We got here right before 12pm. Perfect timing, when we arrived a group of coworkers arrived just as we did. We got in line and ordered. The order came-out pretty quickly. I had a large consomé because I wanted to take it to go and two crunchy tacos (dorados). The tacos were well served. I like that they were not super greasy the meat was clean. The salsa that was provided was just spicy. It lacked a lot of flavor. So the taco and consomé really needed that star of the show to tie every thing together. Besides that everything was good.

I forgot to take a picture of the food because I devoured it but it was super flavorful and Jose has great customer service ! He took his time highlighting any specials they had and made sure I was taken care of, will definitely be back!

Yes, I saw this place on the news. I read all the reviews and came with an open mind. This little hole in the all wall is conveniently located between the 15 fwy and the 91 fwy. Looks like there's plenty of parking. I called ahead to pre order for a 30 minutes pick up. It was ready. The gentleman who answered the phone was the same man who rang me up. He was so nice. He was mopping the floor too! The place was not packed. There were plenty of seating. I wished I could eat here but I had to take out. I got 2 quessabirria tacos, 2 tacos Dorado and 2 taco suave plus a large consume. I have no idea what I was ordering. The total was $31! There was a sign that their prices increased. I will say that the tacos were filled with birria and were very filling. I only ate 2. I do wish they had given me more of the onions, cilantro, lime and red onions. The 2 tacos that I had were good. I enjoyed the consume. I'm not an expert. However, my co-worker is from Mexico. She said the taco and consume were very good. She gave a thumbs up so I would say that this place lived up to its hype!

A+ quesabirria tacos and consommé. So much flavor and well worth the mess. Their birria quesadillas were stuffed with meat but I didn't find it to be as satisfying as their quesabirria tacos. The onions and cilantro are a must for the tacos, but they come in tiny portions and I always end up needing more. One tip is to get the birria combo (birria, tortillas, rice, beans) and then add your own cheese and make quesabirria tacos at home! Then you can be as messy as you'd like and be able drink the consommé as if it was water without weird looks from strangers.

Leave your Diet at the door!!! I've never been to Tijuana but I never hear about their tacos! All I ever hear is about their Chinese food! Hong kong this and Hong kong that. Im so glad I don't have to travel 2 hours and to another country to taste their tacos! All you need to do is come to little Tijuana in the city of riverside! Birria taste better than your abuelitas! Nice and simple hole in the wall. The best you can find in this area. Clearly Yelpers have validated this. I've had birria in other cities and this is much different. First off, beef is the only meat they have. Some think birria is goat meat. This is not. The dorado is super simple. Packed with meat and they give you sides of fixings: cilantro, diced white onion, spicy pickled red onions, and can't forget the limes! The quesabirria was yummy. Also packed with lots of shredded beef. The only cheese they have is mozzarella. I wanted cotija on my dorado but was happy they hooked us up with shredded mozzarella. My favorite part of this meal was the consume (the beef stock soup). It doesn't come with the quesabirria like most places, but they offer small, medium, and large. Dip that quesabirria in the consume! Fantastic flavor. Completely satisfied. Nice people, great service. Place was clean and bathroom easily accessible. Lots of parking. Definitely recommend!

Honestly, after seeing this place talked about a lot and being an advocate of trying every recommended mexican spot around, i gave it a shot and wasn't impressed as an IE local. Food (6/10) Expensive prices for what you get, and the birria meat was pretty dry especially in the tacos. Consume was good, but not enough to carry the meal. Can't really mess up simple ramen or cheesy fries so those got a tasty pass. Service (8/10) Guy at the front counter was super friendly and conversational, and was always at the front and quick when we needed something like extra napkins. Food came out reasonably paced having ordered for 5 people. Ambiance (6/10) Average IE local mexican restaurant look inside, smaller restaurant with limited seating seems like it would get packed fast. Clean tables and environment but nothing special when it comes to location, atmosphere or presentation.

One of the best birria places I've been to. Fairly priced and very very generous portions. Meat is super flavorful and the juice just drips all over the tacos. Friendly staff and fast service.3 taco special tacos, 2 quesabirria tacos and a small consume netted me 18 dollars. The taco special tacos may look small but they pack it with protein.I will be coming here anytime I'm in Corona or riverside

I saw on the news this was rated as the best taco spot in all of California so I had to go check it out. The menu is amazing with a variety of foods and drinks. The customer service is amazing as well - very kind. The restaurant is small inside so you have to be ready to grab a table as soon as one is unoccupied. When I got there the line to order was so long it curved through the restaurant. To receive my order it took somewhere between 30 min to an hour because of how many orders there are. All I ordered was 3 quesabirrias and a horchata for total of $18. When I received my food and started to eat I realized what I payed for could possibly be a steal. The taco is a great size, the amount of birria they put in it is much better than the majority of taco spots. The tortilla is a solid 5/5, perfect tortilla. I love how they wrapped the taco to separate each one to prevent a mess. A great balance of melted cheese, not much but not too little. Overall, this place doesn't disappoint.

Food is bomb! Me and my wife make it a point to come here at least once a week lol. I recommend the crispy queso birria tacos, the birria sandwich, and the quesadilla. But don't forget to add the comsome to dip it in! Their customer service is also great. The guys in there are always friendly and offer me refills on my aqua fresca.

Love going to this place. It's simple and relatively quiet. Food is consistently good. Nothing that is oh my God pound the table amazing but is still really good and tasty. Service is as expected. I know I'm going to get good food and leave happy.

I am a regular here but I usually DoorDash it. Me and my daughter love this place! The restaurant is in a small shopping center kind of bordering Riverside/Corona. If you're not looking for it you'll probably miss it, I know I did. We decided to drive over after school on a Friday and ordered the big family meal. As always the food was fresh and delicious. Plus, they included plenty of stuff to make a ton of birria tacos, plenty for my big family! Now for the reason for the review. As good as the food is, the man who helped us went above and beyond. He was friendly and so helpful, he even brought our food out to the car for us. We would have come back for the food regardless, but after going inside the restaurant I'll make sure to come in more often now.

This spot was really good but service was kind of slow. Took about 20 mins for our food to come out but it was super tasty. The combo plate didn't come with consume though so that was kind of disappointing. Otherwise I would come back but be sure to order the consume

was looking for a restaurant open on christmas and this happened to be one of them. service was great and the gentleman helping us out was really sweet. liked how they made sure to include all the sides. i personally cannot eat burris tacos without pickled onions. overall the tacos were very flavorful and filling.

This place has probably the best birrieria you can get. Highly recommend if you are around the area. The people were great and food was on point. The Horchata was a bit sweet but with some added water tasted great!

I was visiting Riverside from San Diego and craving some good birria. After searching around, Birrieria Little Tijuana caught my eye, so I decided to give it a shot--and I'm so glad I did. This place is a hidden gem. The food? Incredible. The service? Even better. Every time I come here, Jose and the rest of the staff make me feel right at home. Jose, in particular, always goes above and beyond to take care of us. My go-to order is a Quesabirria, Quesadilla, Birria Tacos, and a Tamarindo Margarita--each one packed with flavor and offered at a great price. The birria is tender, perfectly seasoned, and the consommé is rich and flavorful. Easily the best tacos I've had in the Inland Empire so far. I always make it a point to stop by whenever I'm in town. If you're in Riverside and haven't been here yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. Places like this deserve the love-- iykyk

This place was so delicious! I had the birria pizza and shared it but I STILL had enough for lunch the next day. Good prices for what is offered. I will definitely be back soon!

My fiancé and I stopped in during the grand opening over three years ago. The owner and cook were the nicest guys and really made us feel welcomed. The birria is delicious and the consome is so good we could have eaten it like soup! The portion of meat on everything was excellent, they certainly didn't skimp out on it. The inside is small but very clean. We keep coming back! We came back again today after seeing that it has been voted the best taco spot around (but we've known that for years already) to see how it's going and grab some tacos. It was packed and the line was out the door! Deservedly so! The food is still as good as it has always been! We hadn't tried the beens before, but we did this time and they were super flavorful, so I hope they always do them the same. I will say that the consome was lacking slightly this time, just needed an extra touch of salt to bring out all that flavor inside. They have beer and other drinks now, too! Be prepared to wait for your food because this spot is popping, but don't wait, go grab some deliciousness!

Heard a lot about the place and was in the area. Ordered 4 birria tacos and a birria ramen. The tacos were good with a ton of meat. The ramen was ok. I've had better in Santa Ana. Would I come back, yes. But maybe not a go to place.

Food is really really good. Service is family style. They treat you very well, made us feel very welcome. Little place in a strip mall setting with about 10 tables. This place was standing room only. I understand why because the food is really good and the service like I said before very welcoming. Come have some tacos, they were really good. The nachos were delicious. Birria ramen was hot and very filling and delicious. They had the ufc fights playing on two tv's. Serve a host of margaritas, beer & michealadas (sorry if I spelt that wrong.) sodas and water sold by the bottle. Pricing was really good. A pound of Birria at today's pricing 12/20/2024 $17.99. They have a Tuesday taco special and Monday Night Margaritas special. Come check them out! We travelled a little to get here, but will definitely be back!

Quesobirria Tacos at its best! As per a Yelp rating of #2 overall, I chose to take a chance on Birrieria Little Tijuana, and I have no regrets! Located on the Riverside/Corona border I was required to drive like 50 minutes to take a chance on the offerings. Boy, was I surprised upon arrival at this small establishment in a casual strip mall type shopping center. The joint was packed with patrons! There were diners, takeout customers and rustle of people enjoying the food. Being my first time, Jose ensured that I understood the menu, and even offered some suggestions. I chose the Dorado Combo Plate (Two Queso Birria Tacos, rice and refried beans) for $11.99 and paired it with a Modelo Negro and some crispy fries on the side. The birria was the best I have tasted to date! Crisp delicious tacos, packed with meat and cheese, with the correct amount of condiments (chopped onion, cilantro, jalapenos, and HOT sauce. A total celebration in my mouth! Several other items on the menu, and the prices are very reasonable! When it comes to birria, I will take the 50 minute drive! Great customer service. Highly recommended.

[Service & amenity]: Friendly service with mostly indoor dining tables and two outdoor tables. [Menu]: The menu is slightly confusing, but (1) #1 Combo Birria [$10.99] is birria con arroz y frijoles (1/2 pound birria with tortilla, rice, and bean), (2) Taco Combo Dorado [$10.99] is two dorado (crispy) tacos plus rice & beans, (3) Taco Tuesday = soft street taco only available on Tuesday, and (4) consume [small for $2.99] must be ordered separately. Other options include Pizza Birria, Quesabirria (Dorado Taco with cheese), Quesadilla, Mulitas, Burrito, Birria Ramen/Sandwich/Fries/Nachos, Wings, Chicken Fingers, Mini Corn Dogs, and deep fried ice cream. *** Two Taco Dorados ($2.99 each): I didn't want to pay extra $5 for additional rice & beans (Taco Combo Dorado) due to lack of appetite so I only ordered a la carte. Okay real talk ... birria taco is no joke here. My takeout order came with chopped onion, red onion, cilantro, lime, and red salsa. Red salsa really pushed my upper limit of spicy tolerance level, but it worked amazingly with birria taco - flavorful salsa and not so spicy that I couldn't taste any flavors from birria. Portion was generous and meat was juicyyy! *** I have no doubt this is one of the best birria tacos I have ever had in Southern California and the average 5-star Yelp rating with 500+ reviews is simply a reflection of how good these birria tacos are.

This review is long overdue, but the food and service were memorable so I stopped being lazy and finished up my review. We were attended by Jose, he was really friendly and attentive. I got a quesadilla, consomé, and a quesabirria and man was everything delicious. The portions were big and everything was reasonably priced. I brought some food home to my mom and she loved it. She immediately asked me where I got it.

We had seen the great press coverage for this little restaurant near our old neighborhood and needed to try them out. So this week we had the opportunity to go by pick some tacos up and take them home. They definitely did not disappoint and they have a huge variety of items available to try next time.

While at an event in Riverside we found this spot on Yelp and it is worth it. Small family spot especial de birria...will not disappoint! Tacos are full size and loaded with birria and the chili was fire. I told them this was pur first and time and normally we will drive to LA to get iur fix but we will be back and wanted to spread the love about this spot. Nothing fancy, a couple of tables outside and a couple of flats screens inside to watch the games....delish. Even Lola gave it the approval.

This place is my fave! This is my go-to spot for birria tacos and it never disappoints! The food is delicious! The service is also usually pretty fast, which is awesome because I usually go here during my lunch breaks when I'm craving (aka all the time). I highly recommend the quesabirria & the birria fries. :) Also, I was super hyped to see that this spot was #2 on Yelp's Top 100 US Taco Spots this year! Well deserved!

The Birria Ramen was outstanding, and the salsa was thick like a paste and had a decent kick. The meat had a ton of flavor and they give you a good amount (1/2lb) So there was meat in every bite. I'll be returning on a weekly basis until I've had everything on the menu. I'm pretty sure that Grilled Cheese looking Birria sandwich will be one of the best things ever.
