Delicious birria. Staff was very friendly and kind. Affordable menu. Photos/videos of the Wrap, Cheese Tacos, and Birria Pizza.

I had not heard of this restaurant before, and I suspect the experience is a bit more authentic than the average chain Mexican restaurant. Chips and salsa were delicious. Good flavor but I like a thicker salsa so I don't turn into a slob and spill over my clothes. Staff was friendly, helpful and fast. Not that I would expect anything less. One of the joys I have eating Mexican food is the smiling faces. Everyone is welcome and well fed. I had a basic meal, enchiladas with rice and beans. It's my template to compare and it did not disappoint. Steak was tender and the rice was flavorful. Mexican Cole is delicious too. First time I had it.

I heard about this place from a friend and decided to try it out. As a food lover who wants to try different authentic cuisines, it was a great opportunity to try some Mexican food. The best part is that beef and chicken are halal. In fact that was the deciding factor for me to try out this restaurant. From the outside, it doesn't look big, but once u enter inside, you will realize otherwise. On our entry, we were greeted by the staff. Since it was not crowded, the waitresses directed us to a table. Our orders didn't take long to come out. It was nice. The staff was very nice and checked with us during our meal if everything was fine and if we needed something. The bill for 3 adults and 2 kids came around $70. I would definitely go back and try out some of their other dishes.

Ordered a pizza birria for my wife and I. Delicious with the soup that goes with the meat. Ordered a kids quesadilla but for some reason it came with fries instead of the rice and beans? Service was vague up until the waitress that came afterwards saved the day. The drinks were an issue $4.50 for a “1/2 liter soda when they were 12 oz? Over priced drinks. Overall experience 2nd time was ok. Not the worst but not the best either only the food was delicious

Excellent service, food & festive ambiance. The Carne Asada Fries are totally AMAZING. The Beans, Rice & Salsa were SO, SO good. Everything was super fresh, the servers & owner are super nice & accommodating. Can’t wait to go back again to enjoy more yummy food. You’ve got to try this place. Lots of parking.

Good stuff! Got free chips and salsa to munch on. The birria pizza was huge. Two of us got it and we still had leftovers. Horchata was refreshing as well. Service was good, parking available

Google
My first time trying birria was at this Birrieria and it was pretty good overall! My friends and I came here in search of good tacos north of Seattle. There was TONS and heaps of meat in each taco and stuffed me even though I came in starving. I do wish there was a little more vegetables accompanying the tacos, but I was fine not having it either because I could dip my birria taco in the consume. Consume was great. Food My friends and I were a party of 3 and got the birria plate. It comes with 10 tacos (5 regular, 5 cheese), fries, 2 consume, and a churro ice cream dessert to finish it off. We were stuffed and couldn’t finish it. The tacos are packed with meat and I loved the cheese tacos. The consume was nice too dip the tacos in so you must get it! Came with 3 types of salsa and onions for your tacos. The fries were alright, best part was there was more birria on top. The churros came out separately at the end because it sits on top of some ice cream so it was a sweet finish. Atmosphere The decorations are very colorful and has lots of lights inside to brighten up the space and make it fun. Noise level was not too loud for a Tuesday night. Nice and casual spot to grab tacos and birria! Pricing Prices are a great deal for the amount of food that you get. One taco is $4, but it’s 2-3 times bigger than what you might get at like Taco Bell and the meat is legit. I definitely felt like I got my bang for my buck. Service Service was good and the staff was very nice. English and Spanish was both fine for us. Food came out promptly and the staff brought the churros out at a great time. Other Parking in front of the restaurant. You can order at the front just for to go as well.

Google
Delicious Birria tacos with cheese, first time trying this place and I was very satisfied. Prices are a little high but food quality was good. The tacos come with pickled onion, limes, jalapeños, red and green salsas. I will come back again to try other menu items.

Yelp
Absolutely FIRE taco spot. Their birria is completely on point. I prefer the quesabirria. Their agua frescas are bomb. Salsas are bomb. Just simply love this place. Anything Ive tried here is great. So make sure to go check em out!

Zach R.

Yelp
Great food! Will definitely be back. Restaurant was laid out well and customer service was impeccable. Only reason not getting 5 stars is the place is worn down. Lots of empty seats when we went and they sat me on a bench that was very torn up. If it was revitalized on the building the place would be overran cuz the food is that good

Yelp
Anybody who is local knows that Birrieria Tijuana is CONSISTENTLY delicious and is hands down one of the best spot to get quesabirria tacos. It's no question. I've tried a handful of their locations and had the chance to try the Everett location via catering at a recent holiday party. I could see their cheese tacos being a little risky to cater if you can't keep them nice and warm, but I'm happy report that they still slapppped. They were kept warm in a chafing dish type of setup and were really the perfect temperature. They obviously weren't as hot as when you get them in the restaurant, but I always go in for that first bite and burn the roof of my mouth EVERY time without fail (at fault of my own, not theirs). This time around, the first bite was a great temperature that didn't yield me injured so I can't say I can complain! Toppings were provided and tasted fresh, as well as the provided salsas. Their consomé also never disappoints and I'm not ashamed to say I literally DRINK the rest of mine when the tacos are gone. Is it healthy? Man, I'm sure it really isn't. Will I stop? Never. For this being my first time having Birrieria Tijuana in a catered situation, I can confirm that they did a great job!

Volita H.

Yelp
Delicious food, nice server, spacious for family and events. Portions are shareable, the menu has so many variety of choices. They even have photos on the walls in case you don't know what to get. Parking right in front, easy to access.

Jen R.

Yelp
Excellent tacos excellent drinks. Excellent service excellent employees excellent food and I love that cucumber lime drink that you have. If you want tacos that are absolutely wonderful. You have to try this place. It is really really great and I would eat there over and over again. The cost of their food was in a punch in the gut and had a great environment if you want tacos try this place they have a taco truck thumbs up to all your employees they were spoke and were very nice.

Yelp
Service is not the best!!!!!!! Our server was not very friendly at all no hello/ no smile and I am not sure if it's because of my color, I told her that my water cup had food still on it and she said "no" they just washed it, I then pointed out the yellow food on it and she then wiped it from the rim of cup and tried to tell me it was fine. Like wtf is wrong with her she came back and gave me a chipped cup so I could probably cut my mouth unless she could not see it but it's clear as day. Housekeeping is not the best. It smells like urine and condiments have food stuck on it the area she put us at had food on chair and I had to wipe all the rice off Food was ok but no consistency. One side on the tacos are made with 2 tortillas and the other side is just 1, the sauce is a little water down but it has flavor. They dropped off food and never came back to check on us not one time. When checking out she was a little nicer but I am not sure if it's because we were done. My personal opinion is, if you don't speak Spanish or you're not Mexican don't come here. I am very sad to say this because I love Mexican food

Scotty L.

Yelp
Tacos and ceviche are great. Good value and also great flavors. Restaurant is fairly large and service is quick. However they do not sell any alcohol so don't expect to get an ice cold michelada to go along with your birria tacos con consomé. Lots of ample seating, good for small groups.

Lisa V.

Yelp
This place has to be my favorite taco spot in the Everett area. The restaurant itself is very large and spacious, which is perfect for big events/parties. They are also currently doing some renovations, which is exciting to see. The service is here is very nice and accommodating. I like the fact that when you dine in, you're given a basket of chips and variety of salsas and sauces. The chips come out hot and crispy, and you're free to ask for more. Every time I've come here, I've noticed that the food comes out pretty slowly compared to other taco spots regardless of restaurant capacity. So expect a bit of a wait time. My favorite item on the menu are the vampiros and cheese tacos. I always ask for carne asada since the meat here isn't dry and seasoned very well! We also order consome with some birria tacos, and they do a good job of stuffing the tacos here. It's also nice that they provide Serrano peppers, lime, and a mix of diced onions and cilantro on the side with every plate. The quality of the food here is great for the price. I love bringing my family here to eat, and would definitely recommend coming here for any taco cravings!

Muriel K.

Yelp
As previously mentioned, this place is well worth dealing with the Casino Rd malarkey. We had a HUGE torta that was so good (the bread was perfect!) a vampiros taco - my first & a cheese taco - all with super flavorful birria & all even better when dipped in consume. Quick, inexpensive, and ample. Can't wait to go back!

Sim J.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped by with our little babe on a weekday evening for dinner. The restaurant was surprisingly dead - there was only two other tables around 6pm. Service was quick and attentive. We ordered birria tacos with the consome, carne asada fries, carne asada tacos and passionfruit and mango juices. The juices were delicious and so fresh; a pleasant surprise considering it's not a typical speciality we've seen at many American Mexican restaurants. They make those in house and you can see them on display. We really enjoyed the flavours in the consome and the birria was good, just wish it was a bit more flavourful on its own without the broth. The carne asada tacos were decent, well seasoned but a little on the charred and chewy side. We ended up being so full we couldn't even start on our asada fries. We tried the asada fries later at home and found the same regarding the meat - well seasoned but a little charred and too chewy. Although I give the place a 3/5, we would definitely come back and give it another try just for the birria and the juices alone!

Yelp
Ambiance is awesome, casual, a little dark, yet feels cozy for how large it is. I felt comfortable enough to not freak out about consume dripping from my fingers down my forearms lol! The staff, especially our waitress was very friendly and helpful, gave terrific information, and was efficient. The food is EXCELLENT and fresh, and although at first its prices kind of shocked us, we found a smaller menu on the table that gave us some simpler options that were more in line with our lunch budget (the same things are on the main menu just took longer to find). The only criticism I could think of was that we were never brought or offered a second complimentary basket of tortilla chips and salsa. The salsa was so good we would have liked a bit more, but we ended up STUFFED and happy. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area! Edit: as read in another review, I will admit housekeeping isn't the BEST, but I believe it's because they're so popular they're busy constantly and all working so fast that they just miss things in their hurry sometimes. Also, I have been a few times, and I'd never gotten the slightest HINT of any racism, and I hate that people jump to that so quickly. Girl, you just had a not good experience that day, and came and complained, fine, but don't throw out that businesses are RACIST without bringing the receipts! You obviously don't have one, because if you did you'd know that giant platter you ordered COMES with two different types of tacos, and it looks perfect to me!

Sophia D.

Yelp
We tried the cheese & regular soft tacos w/ consome! Super delicious & reasonably priced! Everything tasted fresh-- especially their red onion garnish. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, with the space being super clean and beautifully decorated.

Chantel L.

Yelp
Birria tacos are amazing! I order them with the consomé and not only are both the tacos and consomé flavorful, but very filling also. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for delicious birria!

Cathy D.

Yelp
OMG! The best Birrieria Tacos ever! This large restaurant was mostly empty for lunch but while we were there they did a continuous take out business. I wish they served my can of soda with a glass of ice but otherwise it was a great lunch

Sean D.

Yelp
What can I say? This place is so good and affordable. The staff are always so sweet and the vibe is very pleasant. The Birrieria is fire and they're so quick with it. I always eat here when in town.

Alex C.

Yelp
Fantastic food, huge portions, reasonable prices, and outstanding service. 4 different home-made salsas brought out with chips, plus a caddy of hot sauces. Birria torta and tacos vampires were the favorites so far. I'll definitely be back!

Marcie M.

Yelp
The food was soooo good.i will diffently order from them again. At the top of my list for Mexican food

Robert J.

Yelp
Quesabirria tacos in Taco Tuesday are the best here! I hope they keep their special for $10. Makes Tuesday my favorite day of the week!!

Jen M.

Yelp
Worth the casino road experience. It's all about the birria here I had the pizza and the soup was very filling and so good!! I will come here many more times. Location area is scary but the place is safe.

Philip P.

Yelp
A friend of mine has been wanting to try this place out for a while and for me, I've never even heard of the place. The restaurant is large and has plenty of seating. The front was hard to tell if we order up first since it looked like they have a walk up fast food order type of set up, but it was not that. We saw the host, got our table and menu. They had a new waiter serving us and it felt like this is a family owned business, so it seems like he was either part of the family or something close to that. The servers seem to speak very little English which tells me maybe the food is authentic. But it was a bit of a struggle when requesting for things like asking for extra utensils or bowls. Ordering was a bit easier though since everything was basically in Spanish. We got the Birrieria Pack and 10 street tacos along with it which was way more food to handle for 5 people, but my friends insisted it wouldn't be enough. They were so wrong! I even warned them too! Anyways, the food was kind of lack luster. Nothing mind blowing. It just felt like I was eating some basic tacos that were pretty much okay (like this 3 star rating). The Birrieria Pack consisted of 10 Birriera tacos, half with cheese. It also came with Adobo sauce and a side of loaded nachos. It's honestly enough for 5 people. The 10 street tacos we got were with carne asada, shrimp, chicken, pork, and one other one I forgot. I got a horchata as my drink and that wasn't too bad. Went well with the tacos. One thing to mention is that the tables have a variety of hot sauces to try out. Personal favorites were the ghost pepper and habanero sauces. Those had a nice kick to them and tasted the best. They don't have an alcohol license unfortunately, so no margaritas or Mexican beers to have along your tacos. *sad face* Alcohol would've helped a lot. I'd give it another try just to see if the food or experience is better. Would go again to be sure the food was just okay or if it was just not a great day for tacos. Also, curious about some of their weirder items on their menu like birriera ramen?! Wha?!?!

I K.

Yelp
food is good , customer service sucks long wait times and rude employees it was so bad made me leave my first review

Olivia C.

Yelp
Food and service were both spectacular! The food is so flavorful and the portion sizes are amazing for the price you pay!

Jason L.

Yelp
My coworker told me about this place and said they have really good birria which is cheese taco. They have another location at South King County but Everett location was closer to me. I decided to come here instead. It was pretty busy when I came here a lot of people waiting in line to order to go but they do dine in as well. We got seated and while looking at the menu we already know what to order. We ordered 4 beef cheese taco and a birria pizza, and a large consome. My friend also order one of the fruit punch drink as well and that tasted decent. They do give us complimentary chip and salsa to start with like most Mexican restaurants. We got our food pretty quickly. It was a pretty large portion so its enough for 3 of us to share. After eating one cheese taco it pretty much fill me up. I tried the birria pizza. It is mostly meat in there and cheese. I guess too much meat and little vegetable makes the dish too greasy for me. Even they do have side of sour cream, pepper, and onion. I guess it is just too much grease for me. So, dipping my taco into the oily consome just made it even more greaser lol... I guess birria isnt for me. I should try some other stuff on their menu. Lastly, I do noticed that some service doesn't speak English but limited. Sometimes the communicate is hard so they have to find their coworker to translate on the stuff we request. Which is fine. I will try out their other dish on their menu next time.

Brittney R.

Yelp
Sooooooo amazing. The best quality. Literally anything you get here that's all I'll say.

Sara W.

Yelp
We ordered for pickup using their website. It was easy and their communication was great. I got a text when the order was confirmed. You can track your order online and it will tell you when it's ready. It was ready when they had estimated. The people working were friendly and we got our food quickly after letting them know we were there. We tried the cheese chicken taco, cheese beef taco, burrito, rice and beans, and the consomme. The consomme, tacos, and burritos were all good. They stayed hot until we got home. The rice and beans were okay but I wouldn't get them again. The amount of meat in the tacos is a lot and they are very filling. The burrito is really big and also filling. There is a parking lot with lots of parking. It's in a busy area so it could be hard to get in and out sometimes. But, there is a stop light when leaving which makes things easier.

David L.

Yelp
Food is amazing. The 2 stars is for service. We had a large order to go, paid over $115 for food and got home and they left out an order. Went back next day to get corrected left out order and was still wrong. Make sure to check your order before leaving this place with to go. The workers here don't care to check to make sure orders are correct. Will take my business elsewhere.

Mike A.

Yelp
Definitely try this hot spot out if you haven't. They have a good variety on the menu and tho I haven't tried everything what I have tried has been worth trying. I feel like some times it's a long wait for your food but good things are worth waiting for! Bottom line is this place isn't going anywhere it's going to be a staple of our community for a long time is my prediction so go try out the varied menu selection and enjoy some of the delicious foods coming out of this kitchen!

John P.

Yelp
Vampiros favorite thing on the menu! Crispy Cheesy, Meaty! Shout out to the friend who recommended getting them! Cheese tacos with the consume is a classic! This place can be a bit spendy $$ but so worth it! The menu if full of options to get your birria fix! Quesadilla, Burrito, Tortas you name it! Best place for Birria tacos in my opinion!

Jessy P.

Yelp
Underwhelming, sticky, experience, period. The wait time for everything seemed to get longer and longer while we were waiting we asked for more chips, to which we were told they were all out. Note - the waiter said this as another server handed 2 tables chips. If you're going to take FOREVER to serve a table, bring more chips don't lie that you're out of them. When food finally came the horchata was watery and spicy, and the food was spicy for no other reason than to be spicy, not for flavor. Even my husband wouldn't finish my leftovers the next day when he was hungry. After the mains were "finished" some ordered churros...it took almost 45 minutes for them to come out and after 4 reminders! Sorry but this place is not worth the wait at all. Maybe they are better suited to take out? Who knows! We definitely won't be back anytime soon that's for sure.

Aiyana D.

Yelp
So I added two photos, the one with the Snapchat filter is from a previous trip fall of last year (2021). The second one is from today... what the hell happened??!! The pizza birria was our favorite but not anymore ): It's SO much smaller! We didn't get any of the sides it normally comes with AND it's more expensive than it used to be. We ordered two pizzas for $50!! This is NOT worth $25...

Wayne P.

Yelp
Food was delicious and ready fast - one doesn't usually think of pizza when looking for real Mexican, but I can promise you the BIRRIA PIZZA was outstanding and well worth sharing with someone (it's large!). Same with their ramen. Service was fast, efficient, and friendly, and while it seemed a little easy on the ambiance when I walked in I will chalk that up to me being there at 3 pm. Highly recommended, and will for sure be heading back.

Thanhquyen N.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem in Everett! I love the cheese birrieria and cosome! They are delicious and I can't get enough of it. My team also loves them too.

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Great spot for Birria tacos (on menu it's a cheese taco). I mean meat could be seasoned better and consommé as well, but if you sprinkle salt on it, it takes your taco to higher level of satisfaction. The only thing missing was a beer, which they do not serve alcohol at the moment. Not sure if it's a covid thing that their bar isn't open, or for other reasons. We also tried the regular tacos at $3 a piece. The Al pastor was definitely flavorful. I love how they make their own onion and cilantro mix and serve it on the side versus on the taco itself. My kids got Agua frescas and quesadilla with fries. The strawberry was sweet but the Jamaica was delicious. The kids quesadilla was small and they load up on the seasoned fries. If you dine in chips and salsa are free, to go they are $5. Definitely going back, but only for the cheese tacos!

Derrick S.

Yelp
Super rude! Called just to ask if they had a bar, the woman who answered told me to hold on because she couldn't understand what I was saying, she then comes back to the phone and just hangs up. I call back ask if she did that on purpose, she said she did, I asked to speak to the manager and another woman comes to the phone after a couple minutes, I tell them my issue and they give me a very sarcastic apology and that's it. I won't be stepping foot in here and I will be spreadingi the word.

N. S.

Yelp
County health inspectors shut this place down this past weekend. Unknown what the violation was on why.

Alexander L.

Yelp
Over priced to all hell. All the food is mid, for $14 you can get carne asada fries or for $15 you can go to Tacos El Rey and get REAL Carne Asada for a $1 more. Spending $70 to only get mid carne asada fries, 9 tacos and 3 large drinks is beyond me. I could've spent $70 at Taco El Rey and fed all the homeless on Casino Road.

Brian L.

Yelp
Ordered delivery, so really can't say much. Ordered the cheesy tacos, they were ok but not something we would go out of our way for. Had better, had worse.

Ashley H.

Yelp
We've been here way too many times over the last few weeks and I. Regret. Nothing. We saw "opening soon" the sign on the building months ago and were patiently (impatiently - let's be real) waiting for the day they'd finally open. When that day finally came, we did it up big time. Cheese tacos are what everyone seemed to go for so those are what we went for. We of course had to get the consome to dip them in because if you eat birria tacos without consome, did you really even eat birria tacos? But for real they're amazing! I've branched our and tried their birria fries, birria burrito, and rice and beans. Everything was 10/10! The beans were a little bland but I just added some consome on top and they were perfect. We've also tried the horchata and a few flavors of aguas frescas. Passion fruit is my favorite! Personally, I haven't been inside. My husband is the one that has always gone in to pick up our food but he says it's nice. There's a separate area to wait for to go orders from the diners eating inside so that's nice. He also said the employees have been very friendly and helpful when he had questions about the menu. We'll continue to go back, we need to work our way through the menu!

Jane S.

Yelp
This place is soooooo good! I wish I found it sooner. We went on a Tuesday and they even gave us 3 free consumes to go along with our birria tacos. The carne asada fries are also delicious and perfect for sharing.

Sergio C.

Yelp
Went for breakfast and enjoyed the Birria Chilaquiles. Would like to return sometime to try lunch.

Juan B.

Yelp
Pros: Super good Birria. I got the Birria burrito and the Birria Ramen with a large horchata. Everything was pretty good. Cons: A burrito, ramen and horchata was $35. The horchata had a chalky after taste. Woke up at 4am pissing out of my ass for about an hour. Use extreme caution. This place will give you extremely bad diarrhea.

Mike P.

Yelp
So excited this spot is in Everett! Definitely lives up to the hype. Each cheese taco is $4 but it's pretty filling. I think 2 tacos with the consome can easily make you satisfied but not gut busting full. The consome makes this what it is, we actually drank it after because it was so good. The flavor is rich and helps balance out the cheesiness of the taco. It's an additional $4 for just the consome. With the cilantro, onions, radish, and lime, this is perfection. Comes with green and red sauce which both have a mild kick and were good too. Best part of it all was the sever was amazing, never once looked irritated answering any questions and making sure we had the best meal ever. A couple nearby was just chatting it up with her and she was still able to make sure all her tables were served and satisfied. Big kudos to our waitress! Legit had a date here and did not regret it. The fresca was good too, both watermelon and pineapple were refreshing. If you date is down to dip tacos with you, you know they're a keeper. Definite must try and I'll be coming back!

Cheol K.

Yelp
Birreria cheese taco with consommé. These two items will change your life if you've never had a birreria taco before. The beef is boiled in large pot all day with amazingly delicious spices. They take the tortilla and dip it in the fatty layer of the liquid from the pot and fried up with a layer of cheese and then the shredded beef is added. This description doesn't do it justice but when you take that taco and dip it into the consommé, which is the broth from the beef pot, it is a religious experience to eat. I could have sworn that I heard angels singing after I took a bite. Birreria Tijuana, I will see you again soon.

Yelp
My family and I came here on 2/2/2023 and out of the five of us two of us became extremely sick to our stomachs almost immediately. We had to take the rest of the food to go. Thinking it was just a stomach bug I realized that me and brother had the exact same meal - carnitas burrito. A few weeks prior my mom and I stopped by here to get food for our family and we ended up with stomach aches afterwards. Now to see that this sign at the door when heading to Los Gavilanes is just upsetting. I can't imagine what the health department found and if it's linked to us getting sick - possibly others getting sick. Whatever health violation has occurred I hope this place doesn't reopen until there is a thorough check.

Yelp
I finalllllllyyyy tried Birrieria, and now I can't get enough! I've basically lived here for the last few weeks. The birrieria cheese tacos, and consume... I've also had the cheese tacos with Asada, and Pastor... Delicious! Seriously, it's a food orgasm!!! This place is very popular, so be sure to leave extra time for ordering during peak times!

Yelp
The service has been getting bad lately. Servers are running around because they are short staffed! The Last 3 times my server has either forgotten about me or handed off my order to someone else and they forgot. This last visit which was today I placed my order and had to wait 40 minutes. I told my server (male) and he said "they haven't brought your food out yet" even though it's his table and my order should be his responsibility. Sadly my wife and I have decided to not come here again.

Yelp
Awesome food. Not the fastest service, but the wait is always worth it. Seasoned really nicely and great portions. The restaurant is spacious and has a cool vibe.

Yelp
The food is top notch. I usually get the cheese tacos and they never disappoint! Highly recommend trying this place.
