It was a surprising stop by as the store weren’t obvious on the main street, it was located on a rather quiet street and doesn’t have a sign board. Once you enter the smell of the cookies will definitely lures you in. Tried the sesame, chocolate chips, hazelnut cookies, cream puffs. Must try the Hazelnut Cookies, though it was towards the sweeter end, it has a really good taste with it. The pricing were reasonable as well. And the Italian granny, was the sweetest overall. It seemed to be a rather local store, as most of the people dropping by seemed to be regular customers. They spent a few minutes talking to the lady in Italian as well, sadly we only spoke English. Expect a little wait, as she enjoyed the personal touch with each of the customers. There are a variety of choices in the store, there are cakes, powdered sugar cookies, cream, puffs, moist cakes, tiny, cookies, medium, cookies, large cookies, the selection would overwhelm you. It is a great place to stop by especially after a heavy meal.

Artisan biscuits! This long standing, family-run artisan biscuit factory in a quiet Trastevere street is a great place to stock up on sweet treats. To our shame we polished off our supply in one night! We tried 6 different biscuits and they were all delicious!

Fantastic local multi generations bakery. Once I tried the “Maximo” cookie I came back and bought the rest they had. It was almond with mixed fruit. Fantastic!!! Wonderful happy simply owners!!!!

We loved everything we tried and went back a second time . Such a delight to visit this traditional cookie factory. We ordered one cookie of each kind, and honestly none of them surprised me. They are cookies with a chewy, sticky dough (I thought they would be cookies with a finer texture). They are all very similar; I think it’s more about the bakery’s long-standing history than the actual flavor and texture of the cookies themselves.

The best cookie bakery in the city. Plus, the nice lady gave me some free cookies because I complimented her yellow oven. It’s a beautiful oven (and delicious cookies).

If you want to remember your childhood and your mother's/grandmother's cookies, then this is the perfect place! Delicious and varied cookies, too bad they didn't display the name of each one, to make it easier when ordering (for us tourists). A few blocks away we discovered another bakery, where they serve other types of Italian cookies (cannoli, maritozzo, tiramisu).
