"A little further south in Berry Farms, Biscuit Love is opening its fifth location (the second in Franklin) at 3100 Village Plains Boulevard on August 25. The Berry Farms space has been designed to mimic a neighborhood diner and evoke the nostalgic feeling of “brunch at Grannie’s,” according to the company. Expect signature menu items on the menu like bonuts, the East Nasty biscuit sandwich with fried chicken thighs, and housemade granola." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

We stopped here for brunch on our way home from a vacation in Florida. We were greeted with kind and helpful service as soon as we stepped foot into Biscuit Love. As soon as you walk in, you are able to order, then be seated. If you need more time to think about your order, you can grab menus, sit down and decide what you’d like, then come back and order at the counter. We placed our orders and received our coffees quickly, followed shortly by our food. The food exceeded all my expectations in flavor and quality of ingredients. The potatoes were phenomenal- perfectly crispy with a crunch on the outside and soft inside. The biscuits had tender flaky layers that are to die for. I only wish that they served a bit more jam on the side for the biscuit. Overall the service was a wonderful reflection of southern hospitality and the restaurant was clean and well designed. This goes down as one of my top 3 brunch experiences yet. Well done!

We’re in town for work and decided to get breakfast. This place was so great. You order at the counter when you get in, then they bring the food to your table. Lots of food options. Everything we got tasted great. The location and ambiance was also so inviting. And of course the service was great to top things off. Definitely recommend.

This place was amazing. Did my birthday breakfast here and they even brought me a free cinnamon biscuit! The food was just delicious. Stick to your ribs biscuits and gravy.

Popped in here for a bite to eat in between appointments and had a great experience. The service was very friendly and attentive. Nice open seating and environment. Great biscuits, as always. I kept it simple with their S.E.C. this round. Definitely will be back, great for getting some work done with free wifi and tons of windows. Go get some!

This place is amazing. I got the new Chicken and B Waffles. The chicken was perfectly cooked. Not the least bit dry. The Southern Benny was so nice and flakey my wife loved it. Of course I had to have a few bites myself. Then for nice birthday finish The B-roll was delicious. Best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. Thank you Biscuit Love for a great Birthday meal.

Google
Amazing biscuits and home made gravy! Roasted potatoes were cooked perfectly as well, and Even the donuts were fabulous. This was better than I expected, definitely worth a morning date stop or a hungry craving for some good grub. Excited to come back with the family. Thank you!

This location is so new, it still SMELLS new! Open only 3 days, we were warmly greeted as soon as we walked in. The floral wallpaper & pink tile are adorable and there is ample seating in the dining area & outdoor patio. The music is at just the right volume & the entire dining area has an open, airy feel to it. After being tempted by everything on the menu, we decided on the S.E.C. (biscuit with sausage, cheddar & scrambled egg) with a side of their super flavorful sausage gravy, and the Southern Benny (biscuit, over-easy eggs & shaved country ham). Since this location does not yet have its liquor license (but will soon!), we chose the highly recommended (and much enjoyed) brown sugar lemonade & unsweet iced tea. Everything was delicious & came out super fast! Overall an amazing meal, and a place that I am looking forward to taking my kids back to for breakfast.

Google
Such an amazing breakfast place! Highly recommended to anybody looking for good breakfast. We live in Spring Hill, TN and visited the Berry Farms location. This being the newest location, it wasn’t too busy but also wasn’t empty. You walk-in and order right away, then you seat yourself and they bring you your drinks and the food. The service was super efficient and the food came out relatively quickly. We ordered the French toast, the Nashville hot chicken sandwich w fried egg, the egg benedict, and the chicken and waffles. Everything was sooooooo good. The biscuits were so nice and fresh and FLUFFY! All the chicken was dark meat and HUGE! Plus it real chicken, not a chicken patty and it was a pleasant surprise. The Nashville hot had some heat but wasn’t overpowered. Me and the wife will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Oh, and don’t forget to order yourself some coffee, we tried the shaken brown sugar oat-milk latte and it was FANTASTIC!

Yelp
Does not get better. I'm not really a biscuit lover they are to die for. Not doughy but lots of flaky layers. The SEC is awesome with the white cheese not the American cheese. Great quality. The Service is what makes. Amazing and friendly service the downtown Franklin location needs a ton more employees. Very crazy there. Like the location at Goose Creek best. Quality, Quality and Quality!!

Yelp
The food here was delicious and the service was super friendly! Everything came out hot and fresh and tasted great, you have to try the Bonuts! Bonus: this location is so much easier to get into without a large wait! I will definitely be back!

Yelp
I was so excited about trying this place out. When we travel I always consult YELP and this had high marks. I have to say it's just okay. The restaurant itself is unique, being that it's in a house. Tables are adequate. When we ordered at the "window counter" the young man was pleasant and even helped me order an off menu item I saw on YELP. But after that, that's kinda where well start to fall short. You seat yourself at the table number you're given. You have to get your own water and if you ordered coffee you have another station to pick it up at. They do at least bring you your food but it's average. Not bad but certainly no wow factor. It's fast foodish with sit down restaurant prices. My food was at least better than my husband's shrimp and grits. He was very underwhelmed with his choice. So, I guess Im saying if you want the experience, have at it. But I won't be whooping up the recommendation anytime soon.

Yelp
A few years back I went to another location and it was okay. Stopped in at this location and much better. The place itself was nicely decorated and they had outdoor and indoor seating. If you sit indoors they assigned us a seat. They also have counter seating. Coffee is good! We had a drip and the iced and both were great - bold coffee. Their staff stopped by to offer refills. We had their B-Roll and that was delicious - like a cinnamon roll met a biscuit. S.E.C Biscuit was great - fluffy egg, good cheese and delicious sausage patty! Plus gravy was good - not greasy. Biscuits are all different in the south. There are dense, fluffy, flakey, square, round, etc. Their biscuit is light and flakey and a square. It was delicious but reminded me more of a biscuit meets croissant. Ask for the hot sauce - never had Zab's and it was delicious. All in all: Good food, service and atmosphere. Food is a 3 Star but staff/atmosphere bumped it to 4 s!

Jennifer R.

Yelp
The staff is phenomenal. So nice!! The food is tasty. Basic biscuit made bad ass. The food comes out quickly. Had the best latte of my life here and came back serval times while I was in town.

Yelp
Our family loooooves this place! We've brought several friends in and they are impressed every time. Our kids love the bubble waffles and always have fun with them. The SEC and biscuits and gravy are always a fav with our family. The service is always on point. Every one we have encountered has been super helpful and kind.

Chase J.

Yelp
Did you know their merchandise profits go into a community fund for employees that might be in a tight spot? Kudos to Karl and Sarah! ...oh..and great food too!

Edwyna B.

Yelp
Service was outstanding!!! The omelette was fine and so was the chicken & waffles....nothing to write home about.

Yelp
I had the goat cheese, artichoke and mushroom omelette - excellent. Hubby got the Southern Benny and said he would definitely order it again.

Paul N.

Yelp
I haven't eaten there several times. Things were good. The one time I bring my brother from out of town the biscuits were saturated with baking soda unedible their bacon's pretty salty too if you're looking for high blood pressure. That being said, they're Maple covered. Bacon is insanely good. I can't eat it anymore their food is great. It's just every once in awhile. Somebody in the kitchen makes a mistake

Joanne C.

Yelp
I searched for a place that had home fries or real fries potatoes and biscuit love didn't disappoint. The biscuit was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent. Lovely and clean. Great coffee. Definitely recommend.

Jenna L.

Yelp
Amazing breakfast! The food is great and the atmosphere is so light and friendly also.

Yelp
I would be remiss not to lend my voice in singing the praises of this new Biscuit Love location! From visiting to living in Franklin, BL has often been a suggested brunch spot. I've dined at the Downtown Franklin location several times, and I've taken out-of-town friends there, too. It's a tasty representation of this area's charm. BUT- there was always a considerable line & parking is tricky. The Berry Farms location is perfection! Plenty of parking, much better flow for handing crowds, & a hardworking waitstaff. When you go, you must try : the biscuits (buttery, flaky, yes) the GRITS (what the heck? WHY are they so good?! I never obsess over grits, but COLOR ME OBSESSED) and the brown sugar latte (I'm drooling thinking about it - like, I need it right now please.)

Ed S.

Yelp
This is by far the best of the breakfast chains that have popped up in recent years. I generally maintain a keto lifestyle so this is never going to be a regular spot for me but my wife loves it so I'll go for an occasional carb day and she visits pretty often when i'm traveling. This was my second visit and everything i've tasted has been delicious. As some have mentioned, it's pricy but that's not stopping the lines from forming down the sidewalk. We went at about 9AM on a Sunday and there were only a few people in front of us. By the time we finished the line was down the sidewalk. So that's kinda hit or miss. The staff could not be nicer and we were checked on multiple times to see if we needed anything. Did I mention that the food is delicious? I had the omelet and it is filled with a very tasty Fromage Frais. And no, i'm not being snooty, that's what the menu says and I don't know what else to call it. LOL. But it's good. Bit of diced bacon and mushrooms on top rounds it out. The biscuits and cinnamon rolls (called b-roll) are also very good. The system of taking the order as you enter and giving you a number that matches a table is probably a pretty efficient way of handling the crowds. Your order gets taken quickly and by the time you're seated your drinks are arriving followed shortly by your food. Much faster than if you waited for a table then waited for someone to take and bring your drink order then waited for them to take and enter your food order then wait for your check then wait for your payment to be run. You get the idea. I think it's a system that works really well and cuts out a good bit of the time waiting for and at the table. Different than what we are used to at most restaurants but it works. I'm really happy that we have them in the area for when I want to have a special breakfast with my sweetie and for when she wants to pop in for a biscuit or b-roll and coffee when i'm gone.

Yelp
Passing through Franklin and decided to stop in to give this place a try. Very friendly staff. Ordered the biscuit with chicken and gravy, along with the shrimp and grits. The dish wasn't hot for being made to order, so that was disappointing. Portion size was smaller. Biscuit was tasty, but this place is expensive in my opinion! Wow! For the overall portion size, taste and value, I'd give it two stars.

Anne S.

Yelp
Amazing food and drinks and super kind and friendly service. Don't forget a cocktail if you can. Love the colored sugar!

Jen P.

Yelp
Food was exceptional and fresh. I ordered Princess and Iced Caramel Latte, both were delicious.

Dven D.

Yelp
Ordered a B roll, lemonade, chronic bacon, and hashbowl with extra egg over medium. I got a hash bowl with eggs over easy at best with a bowl that ended up being more soup than anything pleasant to eat while missing my extra $3 egg. also notable is the cut throat parking and not one ada accessible place anywhere near this establishment or its kin In berry farms. I paid $50 for one shitty meal a Waffle House could have done better for a fraction of the price, even if they messed up the order. I will probably order again in a year or so just to reestablish the shit quality for price you get with this company that has no ada accessibility to any of its establishments, for funsies.

Crystal F.

Yelp
Service was good. My brunch was the Lilly. Not a big fan but I hear it's a good place. I would try something else sometime. My latte was very nice. Cute place with good atmosphere

Kris L.

Yelp
Charming breakfast spot that was highly recommended and I could see why! The food and ambience were just perfect ! We ordered the biscuits and gravy, the Korean chicken and waffles (delish!), cheesy grits (were just ok according to my family members that ordered it) and the coffee hit the spot! A must try and will definitely come back when in town.

Chris P.

Yelp
The granola w/ yogurt and the French toast were Amazing. One of the better breakfasts I've had in a while. To top it off the service smiled, chatted and made our day!

Andrea T.

Yelp
The food, atmosphere, and service was exceptional! Everything was seasoned perfectly, when I visit Nashville again....i will be back

Ralph M.

Yelp
I enjoyed my visit. The food was good and the staff was friendly and attentive, especially the cashier, who was awesome.

Troy W.

Yelp
Holy cow this place is expensive!! Breakfast for two was 51 dollars. Chicken and waffles. The Chicken was not done. The waffles were great. Hash Bowl. They use some funky seasoning that throws off the whole taste. Portion was very skimpy for the cost. Fresh squeezed orange juice was room temperature, and I was expecting chilled. Just a bad vibe. Food came and drinks were five minutes later. It was packed though, maybe it was just my experience but I won't be back.

Ron G.

Yelp
Uh.......WOW!! They really put the service in Custu.er Service! The food was awesome and I'm looking forward to coming back. The restaurant was clean and is in a great location!

Allison S.

Yelp
Quick service and great atmosphere. Food was fresh, delicious and just what we wanted.

Johnny R.

Yelp
Delicious food and awesome atmosphere ! Came in for brunch today and tried their country benedict and house omelette and both are delicious ! Their menu says cocktails coming soon which would be perfect !

Jayden O.

Yelp
Amazing food and the staff are so sweet! I am visiting from the PNW and the staff helped me choose the best food and gave us a complimentary dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Roman C.

Yelp
Came in with high expectations - somehow, they were exceeded. I went with the popular East Nasty. Straight out of Food Heaven! They have a bit of a unique ordering process (order at the counter when you walk in), but it kept traffic flowing and service overall was excellent. Definitely lives up to the hype. A must try in Franklin.

Luke J.

Yelp
The food was absolutely phenomenal! The staff were so friendly too (both the lady at the cash register and Kim who was one of the servers)! Our new favorite breakfast place in the Franklin area. Can't recommend enough!

C M.

Yelp
Love the food and everyone is very friendly but either the portions have shrank or I've just gotten hungrier and I'm sure it's the prior thanks to Bidenomics inflation. Their prices are already on the higher end for breakfast so I understand their decision. But that means breakfast & coffee for me was $30 + tip, not really worth that compared to other local options

Ulysses F.

Yelp
We were staying in Franklin as a part of a long trip and flight through Nashville. We stayed in Berry Farms and this locale was located in the shopping center right by our hotel as part of a new master plan development. This.. place... is... incredible. The Bonuts are super delicious. The Chicken and Waffles is super good. The Southern Benny is also delicious. They have delicious hot chocolate... etc. You get the point. Everything here was amazing. Service was fast and friendly. Ambiance is family oriented and casual. This place was perfect, smaller for larger groups but they can accommodate if a slow day. I'm telling you, you will not regret this place. Go! It might just be the best kept secret of the area! (If you see two comments it's because we went twice!!)

Lindsey M.

Yelp
I enjoyed this Biscuit Love so much more than the location in Downtown Franklin! The biscuits at this location aren't dry and the flavors are spot on. The service has been wonderful each time we've gone and I love their coffee drinks. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Biscuit and it was so, so good. The restaurant is still coming together with boxes here and there, but the vibe is cozy and cute and it's a great spot for photos.

Margie B.

Yelp
Food would be better if hot. It is barely warm. It is tasty but not hot. Second time we are here, same complaint. We drove nearly an hour so was disappointed .

Sarah Y.

Yelp
The cashier and the lady thought brought my food were so kind. On top of that, the classic omelet was to die for. I am so glad Biscuit Love is part of this community. Talk about feeling like you are at home in this place.

Robert M.

Yelp
Food was ready on time and order was accurate. Everyone loved their food! I recommend the potato egg bowl thing.

Vinnie E.

Yelp
Most overrated tourist trap. Been to Franklins numerous times. Waste of time and lotsa money. Limited menu also.

Casey C.

Yelp
Amazing food and wonderful, friendly service! I had the hungry hash bowl and my partner had the East nasty - both excellent !

Susan C.

Yelp
Beautiful location, of course. Terrible service. Unfriendly staff. The food was good but definitely not worth the price for quantity and terrible service. Wait in line to order. The guy taking orders seemed bothered to even be there. Food was brought to table & that was it. No further checking on us if satisfied or need anything. High prices & tip prior to service expected for what? To simply bring food to table? Do not recommend.

Kirstin K.

Yelp
Decent food, cashier who took our order was lovely. Not as much to choose from on the menu as I would have hoped. During busy hours the line to order is right in the way of the entry door so that area gets crowded

Lisa A.

Yelp
Food is ok. Not really any lunch options. I understand the line scenario on weekends but I'm not sure why it's necessary if I wanted to come in for a cup of coffee when no one is there, say on a Tuesday morning at 10am, why I need to be assigned a seat at bar or table. Can't I just sit down without a number? Staff is very friendly though. I'll give it another chance when there's more menu options including healthier options and maybe at least a few salads and/or sandwiches to offer since you're open til 3. Just a suggestion.

Andrew C.

Yelp
Food was good but it's not worth the prices. Spent $15 on a glorified egg sausage biscuit w/gravy and was $4 to add the gravy that didn't even cover the whole biscuit...

Gary ..

Yelp
Enjoyable atmosphere with great food! Sometimes the line is really long in the downtown Franklin location, but once you make it to the counter to order the food comes out quick! The Berry Farms location is my favorite because it is like walking into a modern/50s era diner!

P. L.

Yelp
Service was great! Everyone kept checking on us. The hostess, manager, and the guy behind the counter making the drinks. I had a black coffee, and the Egg plate with scrambled eggs, biscuit, grits, and bacon. You can tell it's fresh food. Wasn't full of grease, just cooked to perfection. We also tried the Bonuts. So so good. And I had a bite of sausage gravy, which was also very, very, good. My favorite are the layered square biscuits. The best I've had ever! I love that they have a place to sit inside or out. The tables and chairs are so cute and comfortable. The decor is almost like being in a modern diner. Love it! Will be another favorite to go to for brunch.

Gail M.

Yelp
Love this new location nestled right in Berry Farms. The staff are incredible and make you feel part of their family every time you visit. I'm addicted to their biscuits most of all but haven't found an entree I didn't love. Be sure to save room for a B-roll they are divine.

Rosemary R.

Yelp
Food was wonderful, but no changes like 'leave the artichokes out of my omelet.' You order and pay when you go in. How do you know how to tip? I tipped 20% but then they missed my Bloody Mary even though they asked for my ID, brought it to the table and asked me to pay for it - again. They had already asked once! You can forget refills - they don't ask. Love the food, disgusted with the service.

Amelia K.

Yelp
Husband and I went this morning and ate on the patio. It was very nice and quiet. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and all smiles. I had the b-roll and husband had the omelet. Both were good. The b-roll was delicious. Love having this in the area!
