"For a pre-game brunch, it’s worth trying Biscuits Café, which recently opened its seventh Valley location near the stadium. The menu includes breakfast go-tos like chicken and waffles, ham and cheese omelets, eggs Benedict and breakfast burritos. Go for a dish that includes their namesake biscuits like the Country Benedict, chicken fried chicken biscuit or the classic biscuits and gravy. There are plenty of lunch options, too, like a classic burger and wedge salad." - Jamie Killin

We ordered the meat lovers scramble with sausage, ham and bacon with pancakes, and their special cinnamon bun glazed with cream cheese. The egg dish was a little disappointing, on the dry side, seemed prepared beforehand and heated. The cinnamon bun, itself, was dry and a little hard. No cutting with a fork! The glaze was very good! The service was outstanding. She treated us 1st class. We have been to this Biscuits many times, and we will return. Prices have risen. Parking is okay. Quite a few spots all around the restaurant.

This was my first time visiting Glendale, Arizona, and this establishment. We waited for quite some time to see a hostess and be seated. The restaurant was very nice and festive with Christmas decorations. Our waitress comes and gives us menus, we are quickly ready to order, but she steps away to assist other guests that were seated after us. I'm not going to lie. That was a bit off-putting. My companion ordered the Avocado toast with 2 eggs, and I ordered the Avocado Benedict with red potatoes. My red potatoes tasted like fish..Yes, I know that sounds odd. But they did. I didn't eat them. My companions Avocado toast was on burnt toast. You can even see it in the pictures. They just covered burnt toast with the avocados. Ugh! We should have complained or sent it back, but I just flew in from out of town and was hungry and just needed some fuel. We won't be making a repeat visit.

Wonderful place to enjoy a girl’s brunch! We came into Phoenix just to head up to Sedona. So when we decided to spot for breakfast we weren’t walking in with high expectations. We were blown away by the menu and the options! Highlights were the flights. We tried the mimosa, lemon drop, bacon and French Toast flights. Drinks were all ABSOLUTELY order again. The French toast was a good value. The bacon flight was creative, but not the best value. Our server was wonderful. Very friendly and flexible with all our crazy check splitting. Couldn’t have been nicer.

Google
Great spot for a quick meet-up, family brunch, or a business meeting. We grabbed a corner table for late breakfast near the restrooms. Both of us had scrambled eggs, mine with red potatoes, his with hashbrowns, cooked to perfection. My side of gluten-free pancakes didn't taste like pancakes. They were very dry. The maple syrup couldn't even help them. If you're eating GF, then skip the pancakes and stick with fruit, like avocado. Coffee is pretty good....possibly why I'm still up this late (1:45am) 😫

Google
Service was so quick today, food was hot and delicious. I ordered their biscuits and gravy meal with a side of hash browns. They have vegan options and good coffee. This experience is very typical each time I come. They can get busy so wait times vary. Today was surprisingly slow, still with a mostly full dining room. I chose to sit on the patio. Good views of trees and shopping area.

Google
Great breakfast and lunch menu. 6am to 2pm. Nice comfortable place with quick service and quality service personnel. Breakfast was awesome 😋

Google
Service was somewhat slow, and the waitress took a while to get us boxes and check on us. I'm also pretty sure I saw some rodent in the kitchen area. Also (to no fault of the restaurant) there was this lady glaring at me. Good tasted okay though

Google
Good fresh food, diff type of omelette (egg ready like that), ok portion, decent price, friendly staff, fast service, great if you have the discount voucher.

Yelp
I visited Biscuits cafe on 04/15/2024 67th Ave. Peoria Stephanie was our server. Excellent service ! I will definitely be returning and bringing more family members ! Thank You Stephanie for making our brunch date memorable -Christina

Yelp
I took my niece to breakfast at biscuits, which we've been too many times before. She got the flight of French toast, which she really enjoyed. Said it was pretty good. I got the chocolate chip pancakes, which were quite tasty. Not overly chocolatey. I have a tendency to go to breakfast places that have good coffee and this place has really really good coffee as well. We will definitely be back again.

Yelp
It's my first time at this Lay back Food Loving Restaurant . My Fiesta Salad wasn't spicy nor did I add any hot sauce plenty of chips Grilled Chicken, Graded Cheddar Cheese, Chopped Black Olives,Cubbed Grilled Chicken And Homemade Ranch Dressing My Associate had an order of stuffed French Toast. Stuffed with Sweet Creamed Strawberries 2 pieces of ham ,scrambled eggs . Everything was fresh including our Waitress Jennifer. Great visit . I will be back

Yelp
We were in town for spring training. This place seemed promising because we couldn't find many breakfast spots near our hotel. So, to yelp we went. It said this place was a mom and pop shop so yes we'd go. The service was home town feel and very friendly. The restaurant was huge and had lots of room. Everything felt nice and promising. The mimosas were delicious however the food was unimpressive. It was good but not memorable so I'm not sure how to put it in words. It did its job. I was full.

Jim W.

Yelp
Stopped for Sunday breakfast and the service was awesome Tell Dianna to make ya. Mimosa Flight

Denise L.

Yelp
Took a friend this morning as I fell confident in a good meal and great service. Today was a disappointment. My Original meal was served with sausage links that were so hard and over cooked I could hardly cut them. The biscuits were cold, hard and burnt. I did say something about the biscuits and although I felt they were not happy. They did bring me out new biscuits that were perfect. As slow when we arrived, but by the time we left the restaurant was full.

Tiffany P.

Yelp
They messed up order instead of remaking it, they tried to fix it in the kitchen and ruined the omelette (left tattered).

James S.

Yelp
Epic fail today. First serve food was cold. 2nd order sausage was still cold, biscuits luke warm. Eggs runny ordered medium. Plus our server was great. Coffee was good.

Sarah B.

Yelp
Not had a bad meal here. Even when there have been issues the kitchen and staff are quick to fix things. Had my go to this morning- biscuit's house omelette but sub all bacon for meat portion, crisp hash browns and sourdough toast. They reminded me why it's best to pay a few more bucks than some other breakfast spots. Bacon was very generous amount, cooked great, and texture and taste of the eggs spot on. Gentleman next to me was there for the first time and ordered very similarly but accidentally asked for French toast. He couldn't bring himself to send it back because it looked so good- instead he packed it to go. Also have to add that I took half of mine home and look forward to another good meal out of it, so actually more economical for me than other places I've tried recently.

Gina W.

Yelp
This is an excellent place! Great food. We ordered breakfast and it was very tasty and the portions are huge. Service was great. Even their turkey bacon was awesome! It starts getting really busy around 8:15-8:30am. Plenty of parking. Plenty of menu choices.

Angelia M.

Yelp
Enjoyed the food. Service was great ! I had the eggs Benedict. Hollandaise sauce was very bland. Potatoes, we're a little salty and overcooked.

W G.

Yelp
Great service! The food was good but it is way overpriced. The seating in the corner is awkward too.

Kathy V.

Yelp
I hate giving bad reviews, I really do, but - the only positive about this place that I can offer is that there was no wait to be seated ( red flag). This was my first (and last ) time here for breakfast on a weekday morning or at any other time or day .I ordered Eggs Benedict and coffee with a glass of half and half for the coffee . I use a lot of creamer in my coffee and the only item on the table for "creaming" were those miniscule, much hated containers of "half and half " that don't need to be refrigerated. No, thank you! After quite awhile , (coffee getting cold) the waiter sauntered over, placed a glass half full of 2% lukewarm milk for my coffee ,muttered sorry and walked away. What ?? The coffee- finally- had a burnt taste...one sip and no mas.The Eggs Benedict was barely warm, nothing more appetizing than lukewarm yellow yuck on your plate, and the accompanying hash browns were an inedible , hard as cement , ( not exaggerating) brick of horror. They had to be 10 days old !! Not sure what the problem is here ...too many locations? Owners on a permanent hiatus? What a waste of my time and money spent. Definitely NOT recommended. This review is for the Peoria location on Thunderbird.

Melissa B.

Yelp
Great food and professional but friendly staff. Place is clean and bright and parking is plentiful.

sarina W.

Yelp
Very friendly staff, food portions are large, everything smells and looks delicious. Togo process was easy and smooth and I've enjoyed the few things I have tried

Happy J.

Yelp
Slow service, food seemed different than other Biscuits Cafes, and felt we were in a school cafeteria than a restaurant. Second time here with the same feeling when we left.

Rada C.

Yelp
The food was basic at best and the service was awful. Our waitress was not friendly and made us very uncomfortable

Rylee S.

Yelp
I hate writing bad reviews especially when the staff was so kind and service was so good. But I came on a bad day for the food or something. The pancakes were flat and a pale yellow color instead of the golden fluffy brown I was expecting. The loaded hash browns were saved by the 2 dollar upcharge for cheese sour cream and green onion. They were mushy even when offered "crispy" and there was no seasoning on them. Table salt and pepper helps but like, idk maybe I just can't imagine cooking any kind of potato without seasoning. The biscuit and gravy tasted like quik trip to a T. I'm sad about my breakfast today for sure.

Carolyn L.

Yelp
Worst service ever today. Husband and I decided to stop for late breakfast, seated within 20 minutes and placed our order immediately. I do not know if our order was lost or exactly what happened. Waitress kept telling us our food would be up shortly, it wasn't ! People who came AFTER us and ordered AFTER us got their food but 1 hour later we still did not have ours. I spoke up to the waitress which angered my husband and the rest of the day was ruined. THANK YOU BISCUITS CAFE !! I WILL NOT BE BACK !!

Rick P.

Yelp
First time at this location and even though I read a few bad reviews, I didn't think it was bad at all...it was slow so we were seated right away and our server Andrew got us our drinks quick and took our order just as quick...oh, and the food was really good...

Jennifer T.

Yelp
What a treat! This brunch spot serves breakfast and lunch in a variety of unique menu offerings. There are several creative options from which to choose including a daily special. The food is plentiful and presented thoughtfully for the diner's eyes to enjoy. The biscuits are a stand out as they are huge, fluffy, fresh and *perfect* with some of their house made freezer jam. They also offer virgin or alcoholic coffee flights, mimosa flights and I think even lemon drop flights. The coffee flight was reasonably priced, artfully presented, and delicious! Seating is spacious, parking is easy, dining area is clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Our server, Jennifer, was attentive and full of smiles. I will definitely return to this spot, but first I need to polish off my leftover Southwest scramble!

Sarah S.

Yelp
This is a super yummy breakfast restaurant in Glendale. Big portions, fresh ingredients and amazing biscuits and jam! The service was a bit off today. Really nice staff but seemed very unorganized and we didn't receive our drinks until after our food was delivered. Be prepared to wait 15-30 min for a table on a weekend. Will return and hope service is a bit better!

Janice R.

Yelp
I had lunch this week and my server Jen is absolutely amazing ask for her. Ver helpful with suggestions and friendly. I eat out all the time since I'm older. She took time to speak with me. I had the Philly with everything home made onion rings and potato salad, all freshly made and delicious, amazing food. My car didn't start and I had to get AAA . She came out to check on me and to see if anybody could help me and I see how I was now that's a server that goes beyond service I recommend this place highly.

Janet B.

Yelp
Great breakfast spot. Love their ham Benedict and any of their scrambles . Cute coffee flight and Bloody Mary flight options. Husband loves their homemade jam. Service is okay ~ they are just really busy so they get to you best as they can. Don't care for their pay on the servers pad system & trying to just pay cash is a pain for them.

Linda S.

Yelp
We stopped when we were in the area for a medical appointment for our son. The food was very good. Coffee was great and it came in nice large mugs. Service was wonderful, our server was very attentive. We would definitely stop again if we were in the area.

Honest A.

Yelp
Great service, and the food was excellent. My wife and I both had chicken fried chicken with loaded hash browns and bisque and gravy and pancakes. Couldn't finish it and had enough leftover for two days. Their Bloody Mary's are also very good.

Shawna L.

Yelp
Holy cow, the meals are gigantic here! Definitely could have shared our portions, which isn't always a bad thing. There was a bit of a wait to be seating, but I guarantee you the experience is worth the wait. Service was excellent and the food was on point! We will definitely be back biscuits!

Robert R.

Yelp
Fantastic fun little place, great unique menu. Waffles fantastic didn't have time to drink but margaritas looked amazing

Abbie E.

Yelp
Overall great service! The food was alright! The special waffle was really yummy!! If you get the avocado toast ask for the toast crispy because it was hardly toasted! The biscuits and gravy was yummy but the gravy was kinda old like it's sat out for a long time

Melynda H.

Yelp
We enjoyed our vegan French toast and eggs so much! Service and quality of food were on point! I'm coming back for my birthday breakfast celebration soon! One warning though. Portions are huge! Thank you so much!

Heather T.

Yelp
I love the Biscuits Cafe on 67th and Happy Valley. The food is consistently delicious and the service is friendly and personable - like a local diner. The prices are reasonable and there is even a rewards program, so I'm regularly surprised with a free $5 or $10 off coupon. I like to sit at the bar top to mingle with other diners and with Wes and Nicole. Everyone from staff to patron is so friendly!

Erika C.

Yelp
We at the Biscuits on 59th Ave and I got their Special BANANA CARMEL FRENCH TOAST....ITS A-MAZING!!! I am very picky about my pancakes and my French toast especially because it's not until put in the flavor into the batter or whatever especially when it comes to French toast but these are amazing! BETTER THAN THE BISCUITS IN SURPRISE! I'm still here in the restaurant Enjoying my food!

Mecole M.

Yelp
Everything about biscuits cafe was perfect the food was amazing our waitress was very attentive the food came out hot

Aubrey A.

Yelp
I have wanted to visit Biscuits for over a year now but it's always been so packed that I hadn't made it in. I got lucky, and noticed they weren't as busy so took advantage of it to check them out for breakfast with my mom. I love that they have a large variety of breakfast items. Whether you are looking for something lighter and healthier or a traditional American breakfast, they have you covered. They also have more than just salad and club sandwiches for lunch. Since we were there for breakfast we stuck with breakfast items. First, the coffee, I was pleased when I noticed the coffee cups were larger than normal. I always feel like a giant handling restaurants itty bitty coffee cups that have me bugging the waitress for a refill. Not here! The coffee tastes great, the cups are big and the service is wonderful. We ordered their any 3 items for $11.99 and there were so many options that I felt I could order exactly what I want without bugging for substitutions. The food came out quickly and was great we ordered eggs, pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage, and wheat bread. If you're looking for a new breakfast place that will appeal to everyone's tastes in your party, check them out!

Emily T.

Yelp
Delicious varieties of eggs Benedict. And the churro waffles we shared at the table. Also delicious. Visiting our sons and will definitely eat here again when we visit!

Ray B.

Yelp
We ate at Biscuits (Surprise and on 67th Ave) and won't be going back anytime soon. In Surprise my chicken fried steak and gravy was barely warm as were my potatoes. Service was ok. On 67th, my potatoes were cold as and my wife's eggs benedict was warm. Service was better as we were credited $5.00.

Edward M.

Yelp
Decent food, but not quite what I expected. I got belgium waffles with sausage links (links recommended by waiteress). The links are amazing. The belgium waffle is just a circle waffle not a liege waffle :( It was sad. But good for what it was. Eggs were cooked perfectly and the staff are extremely nice.

Kendall S.

Yelp
We've eaten at this location numerous times during the last few years. We typically go here for breakfast and they have great breakfast options to choose from. My wife usually gets their chicken fried steak with eggs. Their biscuits and their jams are exquisite.

Kemlyn B.

Yelp
It's okay. My friend took me out for a birthday brunch. I have wondered what Biscuits was like because it is near the swimming I go to regularly. We both got a breakfast meal: bacon and eggs, chicken fried steak. The biscuits are fluffy and thick. The white gravy was nice and thick, but just tasted salty. The chicken fried steak was pretty good. My egg done over hard was alright. We were not wowed by the meal not its pricing. We enjoyed dining at the patio and our server was nice enough. It took her a while to refill our waters, but it was busy.

Parker H.

Yelp
I ordered the Vegan Breakfast Tacos with a side of Hashbrowns. I had high hopes and was excited to find something I could eat. The vegan taco looks and tastes like someone put a cheeseburger in a blender and tossed it in a tortilla. The food is bland. The hashbrowns are undercooked and have no flavor. The tortilla is flour, not corn. I did not get sour cream or vegan egg. Overall this place was underwhelming and not worth $18 for dogfood tacos.

Jason S.

Yelp
This is a very good breakfast spot if you want large portions for a good price. The food was delicious as well and the service was impeccable! Everyone in our party had nothing but great things to say about their meals. There is no doubt that everything on the menu is delicious. Plus they have a rewards program, which is an even bigger plus! Several locations in the Phoenix area but this one is a must visit if in the area!

Jerry G.

Yelp
Bad cold food prices way to high very disappointing will never go back wish we had gone to Denny's

Caroline Y.

Yelp
Food was just okay, not great. Service was the same. I would not be a return customer. Priced is a little high.

Kristen V.

Yelp
Food was good, however, service was not. We heard good things about this spot, so decided to give it a try. Our waitress, Leah, was not attentive and had a bit of an attitude when I checked on my drinks and some pancakes that came with one of our meals. She was snarky and her tone really didn't seem like she cared about what was being asked. She walked past our table several times and didn't even bother to ask if we wanted more water. We asked to speak to someone but we were basically given the run around about her lack of customer service. He said they work as a team, but it seemed communication was lacking between them. We waited 15 minutes for pancakes that took her a minute to grab after we asked about them. It's unfortunate too because the restaurant itself was spacious and not too loud. We might try another location because the food was good, but we definitely won't be back to this one.

Julius A.

Yelp
Gave this place a try after craving brunch food. I was seated outside and after 15 or so minutes waiting for a waiter to even say hi to me, I ordered the almond fresh toast plate with eggs and sausage. Their slogan is "fresh food not fast food" and they definitely live up to the name. After waiting 30+ minutes for the food (mind you they were somewhat busy and seemingly short staff on waiters), I got my food. It was good (not the best), but for the price and wait time? I probably wouldn't go back.

Mr. D.

Yelp
I went with a friend to this biscuits Café it's very nice very well-kept café spotlessly clean looking at the menu the prices were very high in comparison to other local restaurants... I ordered eggs Benedict with red potatoes... The cost is $14.50 when did arrived the potatoes were rubbery and cold the English muffin tasted very old and fell apart as I tried to cut it, the egg that they put on top the only part it was left of the poached egg was the yolk and maybe a half a teaspoon of white... I sent my breakfast back they remade it. When it came back the potatoes were still cold and rubbery the eggs Benedict was barely edible. They did not charge me for this breakfast and unfortunately I will not be returning to any biscuits Café. The prices are way too high the quality of food is way too low.

Cel M.

Yelp
Ok I REALLY wanted to like this place but I don't think we will be back with all the other options in the area we have had way better experiences with. The couple seated next to us walked out after getting frustrated with no waitress attention. We were determined to make it through our breakfast in a good mood and it just wasn't good. I'm not sure if the wait staff was over worked or what but the food was okay and you get a lot but not as good as expected. The check out with the with the tablet is so awkward I have barely any idea what I payed for cause waiting around for a receipt would have just taken even longer. This one was a miss for us.

Gylli Y.

Yelp
The service was fine, however my hash browns were so burnt I couldn't eat them. So I paid $16 for one pancake and 2 strips of bacon.

Austin P.

Yelp
Good old fashion sit down breakfast diner. Really good food and good service. Quality spot

Marie V.

Yelp
We've been here twice before; and experienced Great service and good food and it was extremely busy both times. We'd thought we try them when they weren't as busy; thinking things would be even better. However, this Tuesday we went, and they were not busy at all. The service and food was not the same. The place was less than 1/4 full and we waited for a while to be seated. Finally seated and our waitress did show and all seemed fine. Sadly when the food came we were very disappointed. The bacon was burned on both our orders. My husband did not even want to take it home to ours Dog's. He thought it might make them sick. The Rest of our breakfast was great (after fishing out all the bacon in my omelette). This was where the service fell short again. We had to stag someone for refills on our coffee. I was never able to get more water and what we had came in small glasses. When done we waited up front wanting to purchase some of their coffee cups. However after 13 minutes of waiting we gave up and left. Really not sure if we'd ever want to try that 67th Ave & Happy Valley Road again.
