I work in the Glendale area near Westgate and often try out local restaurants for lunch or brunch with coworkers. We decided to give Biscuits Cafe a try after hearing good things and seeing that their menu offered a nice variety of breakfast and lunch options. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
Our administrative assistant went to pick up our order since our office is only about five minutes away. She mentioned that the restaurant looked very nice—clean, quiet, and welcoming. The staff was polite when she placed the order, and everything seemed well-organized. That gave us high expectations.
However, once we received our food, we immediately noticed several issues. Despite the short distance, everything arrived cold. The biscuits were overcooked and hard, the bacon was burnt, and the salad contained wilted lettuce. To make matters worse, parts of our order were missing entirely. It was frustrating and disappointing, especially since we were all looking forward to a good lunch.
We tried calling the restaurant to see if they could fix the mistakes, but it was nearly impossible to reach someone. We were placed on hold multiple times and never received a proper response or apology.
I had hoped Biscuits Cafe would become one of my go-to lunch spots, especially since they offer items like a turkey burger—which is hard to find nearby. Unfortunately, between the poor food quality, the missing items, and the lack of customer service, I can’t recommend this restaurant. Hopefully, management takes feedback like this seriously and makes improvements.
