We went here for the first time with our family of 7. The food was delicious and our server was friendly and apologetic about the long wait (she explained it was due to DoorDash orders) and the heat from the doors being open, which also let in flies. Unfortunately, we were overcharged by about $30 for items we didn’t order, and the cinnamon roll that was supposed to be comped was still on the bill. I didn’t get the promised callback that day, but the store manager did call the next morning, apologized, corrected the charge, and even sent me a $20 gift card. While the billing process and follow-up could be improved, the food itself was good and I appreciated that the manager made things right.

Google
Biscuits Cafe was a great spot for a classic breakfast! The food was delicious and exactly what we were craving. The coffee flight was just okay, not bad by any means, but not something we’d rush to order again. Overall, a cozy place with great breakfast options. We’d definitely come back for the food!

Google
Food was very bland. Biscuits was dry and wasn't covered in gravy. Gravy didnt have an flavor to it. I think they was scared to give eggs for the price they charge. The hashbrown was undercooked. The cinnamon roll French toast doesn't taste like a cinnamon roll or French toast. The soda was overly priced. The whole place wasn't worth the price they charge. The waitress was nice and she had the the cook made a Mickey pancake for my son one. The hostess needs a hug or something she seem like she's in a bad mood.

Judy D.

Google
Food was dry, the food had no flavor. I was charged for to extra dishes I didn't ask for. Service was not good nor friendly. I had to ask 3 times for to go boxes, I told the waitress I had to leave for and emergency, and there was no hurry on her in. My daughter's potatoes were under cooked. Over priced & no prices on the special menu's

We’ve came to this restaurant a few other times other than today.. We always have such a wonderful experience. The food is always hot and fresh, always on point. Service is great friendly staff and the atmosphere is always relaxing and comfortable.. This morning however wasn’t all that great. We ordered, our food came, we began to eat and I found hair in my food. Totally lost my appetite of course.. the waitress was extremely polite about it and apologized.. I reordered another order and we finished our breakfast. I understand things like this happen but, it’s just so unpleasant.. anyway, we will come back again sometime. Our experience next time will probably be better 🤞 thanks!

Google
A very nice comfortable place for breakfast. Service is exemplary, staff is very friendly. Food and coffee are fresh , hot and delicious .

Google
Place has a vibe to it. Had a good environment. Bacon flight was a cool concept but at $9 for 4 pieces is steep. Rancheros weren't bad for a non Mexican place. But very flavorful. Just don't expect them to taste equavalent to grandma's recipe Cinnamon roll was good I'd be back

Google
When I walked in the floor was sticky, sat on a ripped seat, got coffee but no spoon, had a very dry biscuit with over cooked and burnt chicken, served me the bottom of the biscuit was on the top and top was on the bottom, biscuit was old couldn't pick it up it crumbled ,the chicken was so chewy and hard couldn't chew it. I can just imagine what the kitchen look like. I went to the Culinary Institute of America and I'm a chef. I would not eat here. I will never return, the waitress lied to us and that really pissed me off! I'm going to contact OSHA! Filthy dirty oh and sweeping the floor right next to our table nothing like having dirt in my coffee! I flipped the sandwich over so you can a n see how burnt the food was.

Yelp
Beautifully designed from layout to decor. From management to service staff, everyone was kind and professional. My coffee cup was never empty, and the biscuits were light and fluffy. The biscuits were served with homemade jam. The zesty chorizo omelet with salsa and sour cream was seasoned perfectly. The hashbrowns were golden and crispy. This is my favorite location.
google avatar

Yelp
Service was great and friendly. They allowed substitutions so that I could follow my dietary restrictions. I would've liked to have tried one of their fleets. But it was not mentioned to me, and I only read about it after placing my order. Food was hot and fresh . I would return again if I was in the area. A few years ago, I went to a biscuits that was around Tempe/Ahwatukee and enjoyed it, but it has since closed

Yelp
This food is so overpriced and not good. We came for brunch and had to move outside after being seated at a table in the corner when the place was pretty empty next to a very rude group of people. The table outside was dirty and it and the chairs were covered in bird poo. I got an omelette with a side of hollandaise sauce and it was very gummy and had no flavor. The biscuit is good and the omelette had a decent amount of filling. Overall IMO not worth the price.

Yelp
This is a nice coffee shop that has a good sized restaurant area with ample space for seating different sized parties. They offer good portions at average prices but I have not found a special item on the item yet that would give me a compelling reason to come back next week. My wife and I shared a plate. We ordered the BYOB (build your own breakfast) combo. It came with pancakes, a couple pieces of bacon, eggs, and smothered hash browns (the plain hashbrowns were included as a regular part of the meal, however for a $2 up charge they will add cheese, scallions, and sour cream on top of their traditional hash browns... it wasn't worth it in my opinion). I liked the pancakes and bacon and would order them again. However the rest of my food tasted pretty unimpressive. The scrambled eggs were a little dry and bland. The smothered hash browns didn't taste very good. The basic hashbrowns tasted oily and kind of stale as if they have been fried on a grill that had not been properly cleaned in a while. I don't want to give the wrong impression. There were a lot of people at this restaurant and many of them seem to be enjoying their meals and this was only my first time. Sometime when I decide to try them again I will definitely try a few other things on the breakfast menu I'm sure I will find some things that I like much more than the first plate that I ordered when we were there last time. I gave them a three because I felt like there was a little bit of room to improve as far as the flavor of the food on the breakfast menu. I am of the opinion that if you have a diner or a coffee shop, there are some things that you just have to nail every time you have to get the eggs right you have to get the french fries or Country potatoes right you have to have a great mix of sweet and savory items such as pancakes, waffles bacon, sausage, country, fried steak, eggs.

Yelp
Not sure why everyone raves about this place. The service is not great and it's outrageously expensive. We were sat in a corner next to other people when the place was empty. Loud inappropriate conversations led us to ask to sit outside after we ordered. At least it didn't smell like dirty mop water outside but there was bird poop all over the outside tables and chairs. I got the build your own with 3 options and it was almost $14. Others in my party got Benedicts and omelettes and they were over $20. There's no reason why a plate of breakfast should cost $20. Won't be going back.
google avatar

Zach H.

Yelp
It gets the job done for breakfast, but I definitely would not go out of the way for this place. Waitress was very friendly. Food took too long for a diner type restaurant. BEAST benedict was tasty, I'd get it again. You can tell this place used to be a gas station or something...just didn't seem that homey feeling like a diner usual has.

Yelp
Biscuits Cafe has become one of our favorite breakfast spots in the valley!! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The portions are great for the price and the food is so delicious. I had to ask our server about the strawberry jam that comes with the toast... it is TO DIE for!!! She let us know that it's Biscuits' jam made fresh in house; they make strawberry, raspberry, and marionberry, and pints are available for purchase!! The restaurant itself is always clean, noise level is pretty loud considering how busy it always is, and there is plenty of parking outside for convenience. Thanks so much and we'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
A very solid cafe. The staff accommodated us quickly, took our order quickly and served us quickly. The ambiance is not that great, but I think the theme of Biscuits is to accommodate a-lot of people and to serve them quickly. They accomplished these tasks really well. The food was good. I had a hamburger. The beef had a great flavor and the ingredients seemed fresh. The onion rings were obviously made in house and were very good. My wife had an omelette and hash browns. She said it was really good as well. The only shortcoming that I saw was that there were not so many combos offered such as chicken fried steak and eggs. Everything was great! Great service, great food at great speed!

Yelp
The bar isn't that low. Gluten free restaurants should make an attempt to create their own gluten free food. I want pancakes, French toast, waffles, biscuits and gravy, country fried steak! There are restaurants who do make the most awesome meals gluten free. When you can make those, then you should be able to say you are a gluten free restaurant, otherwise you just have bread options.

Yelp
1/11/25: Short version - popped in here because we were too early for the Arrowhead Farmers Market & we were both starving for a good breakfast. We got it! Also had a wonderful server, Jeremy. Longer version - we arrived close to 8 a.m. and were seated immediately. Within seconds Jeremy was at our table taking a drink order -- and throughout our entire stay he repeatedly walked by to inquire after things. I was happy to see that they offer one free refill for hot chocolate. We immediately ordered two, and a cinnamon roll to split. It came out hot and slathered in frosting. Normally I am a glutton for sweets (especially frosting) but I was not overly keen on theirs; neither was my sister. The best descriptor I have is non-traditional. The roll itself was awesome but its awesomeness was tempered by the "meh" frosting. I think they need to either put less on it so patrons can focus more on the roll, or better yet, change the frosting recipe. After ordering our food, it was maybe five to ten minutes before it arrived at the table. Excellent time management skills there. My sister thoroughly enjoyed her avocado benedict, and I did my chicken apple & avo sandwich, but again, not overly so. The sole reason being it was very messy not one to eat with your hands. The avo spread -- and there was a lot of it, so yay -- was in a large heap on the top. Why is that bad? Because the second you attempt to take a bite, it ALL SQUISHES OUT. Like I said: messy. I ended up cutting it up into pieces with a steak knife to avoid having to ask for a bib. :-) I would have enjoyed the sandwich more if it was not situated between two buns, but instead layered on one slice of thick toast. Despite the cinnamon roll frosting and messy sammich, Biscuits Cafe still deserves the four-star rating: food, service, ambiance -- all great.

Yelp
I ate for the 1st time at Bisquits in Peoria. Wow... Their Eggs Benedict will make your eyeballs roll back in your head.. I'm not kidding. And the waitresses are efficient & pretty fast too! Taking Friends there Sunday. I recommend it!!

Kim W.

Yelp
We had the worst lunch we have had anywhere today here. Started with being handed 4 nasty menus with sticky probably syrup on them. When the waitress came we gave our order and mentioned the menu's needed whipped down she rolled her eyes like she shouldn't be bothered to do that. Next we got our food. My daughter and friend ordered scrambled eggs with red potatoes. The potatoes were hard, cold and old. They eggs not completely cooked. I had a California club with turkey. They turkey tasted like it was heated on a grill with old rancid oil. My husband had biscuits and gravy. The gravy tasted old and rancid. The only thing good about the meal was the coffee, cranberry juice and bacon. The meal was $100 dollars. Way over priced for such bad food and service. Plus flies were flying all over the place. Please save your hard earned money and go somewhere else.

Yelp
Today I visited the café and I need to tell you that everything was amazing if you can get the hostess or the bartender or the waitress name Christina, she is the best Christina thank you so much. The food was a 10 out of 10 and I highly recommend.

K. Fred P.

Yelp
This place is fast, super friendly, and personable service. Great food not greasy. the restaurant it self is Clean and tidy.

Philip K.

Yelp
Wow, what a good spot for Sunday Brunch. We are new to the Phoenix area and trying lots of new places. We have now been to three Biscuits Cafe and all have been great. Although we have had a variety of food, we have always gotten the Cinnamon Roll to start-yum. Will certainly be going again and again.

Janice I.

Yelp
Biscuits is my favorite restaurant for breakfast and lunch. They have good sized portions at really good prices. The only drawback is, because things are made fresh, they take a little while to get to you. Not to mention the place gets really packed on Saturday and Sunday mornings. But it's totally worth the wait.Otherwise, I love Biscuits.

Yelp
My three positives and a negative because the world needs more positivity: + I love that you can order from the full menu. Lunch at breakfast, yes, please + Hubby loved his pancakes. His veggie omelette was stuffed with heaps of veg goodness. His hash browns were cooked- not just thrown in the grill for a hot minute + the biscuits are worthy of being the namesake. Fluffy and perfectly accompanied with the strawberry jelly - My chicken fried chicken was just ok. Not nearly as hot as it could be. As if they had cooked it hours ago and left under the heat lamp. It has been better

Yelp
I'm so glad that the biscuits cafe got their game back. For a while there their game was off. Glad that we stopped today because we had a amazing lunch. We ordered the grilled chicken and strawberry salad with almonds and strawberry vinaigrette. Never had a salad this good in a very long time. We also ordered the club sandwich and a side salad. Both were so good. It's nice to actually have a real club sandwich and with good quality cold cuts. And let's not forget giving appreciation to the great servers that served us and of course the cooks l. Keep it up Biscuit Cafe
google avatar

Kathleen S.

Yelp
Service was great, they answered our questions and gave us recommendations. It's very much a typical breakfast spot as nothing stood out the most from their menu. Out of all the French toast flavors, fruity pebbles was the only one worth it. Cornbeef hash is made in house but the best thing on the plate was the hashbrowns and the biscuit.
google avatar

Daniel L.

Yelp
This experience was mixed good and bad. Our waitress was amazing she was attentive and communicative what was going on really well. The wait was about 20 min which is great it was a busy Saturday. But once we ordered it took an hour to get our food. And once it came out they had forget an entree and one of our items the French toast was extremely undercooked. I have never had runny eggs on French toast until that experience
google avatar

Mario L.

Yelp
The vegan options are limited but so good! We had the 2 Vegan options and were pleasantly surprised by the portion size and taste. The drinks were part of their daily $5 dollar special and were well balanced not light at all. Johnny, our waiter, was very friendly as well as the rest of the staff. Will be back soon !
google avatar

Brenda J.

Yelp
Yummy food, friendly servers and gigantic food portions. The Thunderbird Avenue location has plenty of free parking too. So many good things to say about Biscuits Cafe.

Stephen ..

Yelp
Not bad. Standard diner. Breakfast dishes vary. Very popular so might not be worth a long wait. Still, a reliable brunch/breakfast spot, but not First Watch.

Lila S.

Yelp
I ordered the waffle with two eggs scrambled and cheese crispy bacon I'm so disappointed I didn't even need it I left waffle was soggy it was cold big lump of butter eggs were cold this is my third time at this particular restaurant and I probably won't come back my waiter was amazing though at the bar yeah just sad it used to be really good but their quality has gone down a little bit in the last year so No manager came by to see how things were going and the bartender took care of the tab unfortunately used to be such a great place.
google avatar

Megan C.

Yelp
I have celiac disease (severe reaction to gluten) and had a great experience here! I was safely able to eat the bacon and cheese omelette, hash browns, and gluten free bread. The wait staff was very knowledgeable on gluten free menu items and took food safety seriously. It was a cute cafe and I would definitely go back!
google avatar

Nathan W.

Yelp
I was visiting family when they suggested we go to Biscuites Cafe for breakfast. I was expecting much when I realized it use to be a QT. We were there on a Thursday so it wasn't busy but I hear it gets pretty busy. I ordered a Mexican coffee and the server wasn't sure what I was asking for but someone there knew what I wanted and made a delicious Mexican coffee. The food was fantastic. HUGE portions and high quality food. I ordered and omelette with hash browns and biscuits. The homemade strawberry preserves were amazing! I am not in Peoria much but this maybe one of my go to spots when I am in Peoria.

Paula S.

Yelp
Not my go to place, invite for Father's Day. Food was okay. Service was good. Not much more I can say, just another breakfast place, nothing too exciting.
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Good was good except for the sausage was a little dry. My friend ordered the mimosa flight for me but not really into champagne it felt like they were all champagne didn't really taste the different fruits mixed with it. The staff was friendly and service was fast. The restaurant is cute and nice and bright for a breakfast place. Definitely will have to try again
google avatar

Ed F.

Yelp
FLIES all over my food. Unsanitary. YUCK!! Some excuse about liking to leave doors open?
google avatar

Lisa W.

Yelp
They never let you see your bill and don't give you a receipt. This is a very shady practice. I will not be going back. I went in at 9 am and no one was there and now i know why. Its a great way to kill your business. Food was okay

Ashley M.

Yelp
How disappointing. I guess you can't get to go orders anymore and hope they'll be correct. Spent $20 on an omelette that's not actually an omelette. Just eggs thrown on top of veggies and sausage. And I didn't even get the toast on the side. My husband got eggs and bacon and he confirmed his eggs tasted weird like they're cooking them in a strange oil or something unfamiliar. Ridiculous you spend all that money to get a subpar meal. And it was on a Monday afternoon so there's no excuse for being "too busy." Do better.
google avatar

Dolores Z.

Yelp
Biscuits was our choice for breakfast! It's a large, light, comfortable restaurant, clean and inviting for hungry diners! Large mugs of pretty good coffee were offered, and our orders were taken. Server was pleasant and knowledgeable. My breakfast burrito was chock full of egg, veggies, refried beans, and a very flavorful chorizo. Many breakfasts come with a choice of red potatoes or hash browns. I first ordered the reds, but changed to hash browns. The burrito arrived with red potatoes. Our server apologized for the mixup and shortly brought an order of hash browns. Pretty good customer service! Other diners enjoyed eggs Benedict and a breakfast that included eggs, pancakes, bacon...quite a hearty meal! We took our cinnamon rolls to go, server gave verbal instructions for heating and serving-very good, with a fluffy cream cheese icing! Yum!
google avatar

Wm R.

Yelp
Great service even though they were busy we were seated quick and the service was good. The food was well prepared and tasty
google avatar

Dottie K.

Yelp
This rating is for the Bell Rd location in Phoenix. Their food isn't as good as the other locations. The best food is the 59th Ave location. The service at Bell Rd is ok but again much better at 59th Ave
google avatar

Ariella P.

Yelp
We've tried biscuits cafe a few times now and each experience is just average. The food is ok, we choose to sit on the patio and there doesn't seem to be a good system for incorporating those tables into the waitresses flow. We end up spending a lot of time waiting for small things or even just to place an initial order. The hash browns and red potatoes are just ok. Nice Benedicts and the French toast are better than the pancakes. Staff are wearing masks even post mandate lift. Much appreciated.

Tyler R.

Yelp
Excellent service!! Food was fresh and hot. Exactly what we ordered. 5 of us ate for under $100. Highly recommend!!
google avatar

L L.

Yelp
I'll be nice and give two stars but honestly, we have had a better breakfast at Jack in the Box. The eggs whites were runny, when we asked for no runny white ("over medium, no runny whites in the eggs please"), and one egg was served with a broken yolk. The ham tasted like it was boiled, no char or flavor, like it never hit the grill. The BISCUITS (Biscuits Cafe so we expected amazing biscuits) were crunchy on the outside, and dry on the inside. The hash browns were just average. I assume they are frozen shreds. Why is this place so busy??? The atmosphere is not warm and welcoming. It is very clean, and I enjoyed the very clean and huge windows, but it was kind of like a hospital feel, very light colors and minimal decor. The host kept YELLING "so and so - party of four" or whatever. It was crazy, like get some gadgets to hand out to people to notify them when their table is ready instead of yelling!! This place is much smaller than expected and voices carry, okay?! LOL!! I LOVE listening to music when dining out, but we could not hear any. Maybe there was music, but the noise level was too loud and drowned it out?? Too many people in a small area and people even waiting outside. WHY?? Our server was very evasive to everyone. She kept passing by but did not make eye contact (in an awkward way - like "don't bother me right now.") She was very minimal with her service, but adequate. The guy next to us did not eat his toast...it was burnt. Another table, despite being given a to-go box, did not take their leftovers. Our first and last visit. Not sure why this place is so BUSY every time we pass by, which is why we tried it...ONCE was enough for us.
google avatar

Kim M.

Yelp
Great breakfast choices! A ton of food and great quality! The service was timely and never had to ask for coffee
google avatar

Sandra H.

Yelp
Came here with family surprisingly table was all ready no wait. It was chilly but it's az and outside is over 100. I ordered their steak and eggs and idk my steak looked like pork but tasted good. Not a fan of there potatoes felt too mushy. Their jelly was good. Overall not a bad experience and the service was good no wait but definitely busy
google avatar

Johnny G.

Yelp
I almost gave this place 3 stars but they're trying. The coffee was mediocre and the hash browns were mushy on the inside, but the cinnamon roll stole the show. The icing oozed off the fluffy roll...I need another NOW!! The homemade corned beef hash was tasty and was definitely homemade and not from a can. In order for breakfast to get above a 4 star, they really need to try harder. Out there, there are not many options for breakfast so it was a decent breakfast...but did I mention that cinnamon roll??? Our server was great....the busboy needs to lose his tips for the week to learn how to actually learn how to help the wait staff - watching him work was hard to watch. I almost got up to clean up tables.
google avatar

Francine L.

Yelp
Was headed to the rehab centre Freedom Plaza to purchase something to bring to a patient I spent $21 for a salad that had a small piece of protein i was unimpressed with this salad so much so I'm writing this new review. I don't mind spending on a product where i feel value this was a waste of money. Will not return P.S. why are people waiting in line to spend crazy money on so so food Their biscuit was a disappointment too
google avatar

Happy G.

Yelp
Have you been before for breakfast and it's always been very good. Today we decided to try it for lunch. I had the bacon ranch chicken sandwich and it was delicious. My husband had the American cheeseburger with onion rings, and he loved it.
google avatar

Chester B.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere very pleasant Bloody Mary was very good but my biscuits were over done I ordered eggs fried lightly and they were burnt my hash browns were not cooked all the way.

Anna H.

Yelp
They were able to seat our party of 14 immediately which was a surprise to me. The kids loved the gluten free churro waffles and my chorizo omelet was great. Only giving it 4 stars because of the lack of lattes. The only coffee options were cold brew or drip coffee.
google avatar

Betty C.

Yelp
This place is pretty good but very expensive the chicken fried chicken is really delicious I prefer the hash browns over red potatoes the red potatoes are not true red potatoes they are just deep fried potato squaresHhhhhhhh

Evelyn A.

Yelp
Always a great spot for breakfast. My sister and I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken and the Fried Steak with Gravy and substituted for a Belgian Waffle! It was delicious. Our server was really sweet and attentive, and the food was delicious. Can't wait to come back again.

Austin E.

Yelp
Good food and service with a smile and priced accordingly. The music is a nice volume to have a discussion without yelling.

Debbie B.

Yelp
Biscuits has pretty good food, but the worst biscuits and gravy. But their service is THE WORST!! Their servers are so S L O W!! And the servers are rude and arrogant and have a completely overrated opinion of themselves. And they're unmannered. Actually told us the server was "in the bathroom, so we had to wait for her." I'll never go there again.

Jolene E.

Yelp
Worst food, service, atmosphere every single thing about this location is awful. Not that any of them actually have eatable food, the gravy and waffles are probably the two worst things I've ever tasted. How do you screw up country gravy? When the sausage you're using has passed its date you add tons of parsley to cover up the taste...
