I was visiting Martha's Vineyard for a day, and the ferry arrived at Oak Bluffs at around 10:15 AM. I looked for places to eat when I arrived, and Biscuits was only a few minutes away from the ferry terminal. There was a short wait, about 15 minutes, before my friends and I were seated. We were here on a Friday, so the line may be longer on Saturday/Sunday at brunch time.
We ordered the south beach scramble, meat and cheese omelet with sausage and cheddar, and cod cake benedict. Everything was really good, but I wish the portions were bigger. The prices are pretty standard for a diner/brunch place, but because the portions are smaller, it seems overpriced.
My omelet came with home fries and either a biscuit or toast. Since this place is literally called Biscuits, I figured I should get a biscuit. It wasn't anything extraordinary, but it wasn't bad either. I'm no expert on biscuits though. I'm also not an expert on home fries, but they were basically just smashed potatoes with some seasoning.
Overall I would recommend this place. The food and service are great. Come here with a few friends or family so you can order multiple plates and share. I heard the twisted stuffed french toast is really good, although I didn't get to try it when I went. If I ever go back to Oak Bluffs I may have to stop by to try it.
