I had no idea this theater even existed, but it was great! The seats were comfortable, staff was super friendly, and there's no bad seat in the house.

My family and I were in Dallas for a weekend and decided to catch a play. We saw Black Boys Cry Too. The play was amazing and the theatre was clean and comfortable. Purchasing tickets was easy as well. Despite being in a big city I was happy to find adequate safe parking at no cost. Thanks Bishop Arts Theatre for a wonderful experience.

Yelp
First time visiting this theater, tickets were very reasonible, staff/volunteers were extremely helpful. I knew The Tragedy of Othello was going to be good, but I didn't realize HOW good it was going to be. The actors did an amazing job. I'd totally go again, and recommend anyone see this.

Yelp
One-man act, Thurgood, is excellent performance. Highly recommend anyone interested American History and law and the evolution of educational equality should see this show. Highly recommend for high school and college students, as well as anyone who votes in America.

Yelp
This has to be one of Dallas' best kept secrets! There is not a bad seat in the house! I have attended several of the plays and jazz concerts at the Bishop Arts Theatre Center and I always leave wondering why more people are not taking advantage of this treasure in our city. It is easy to get into and there are a number of neat restaurants to visit before or after a performance. This year, I purchased season tickets to their play and jazz series and I have not been disappointed. If you love the arts and enjoy quality performances, don't miss out on their events. By the way, Grammy-nominated Jonathan Butler will perform there on Oct. 4th! That is sure to be a sellout performance. David Benoit, Peter White and Rick Braun have already performed there this year.

Yelp
We rented this venue to host a play. The venue is decent, but the customer service is horrible. The people who answer the phone are rude. They deliberately tried to sabotage my sales by giving customers bad information. I will not use this venue again. If you are searching for a professional group who stands by their work, Bishop Arts is not it.

Yelp
Signed my grandson up for summer camp last year. Very strict rules concerning fighting with 3 warring the child is kicked out but their paperwork has nothing about suspension or hugging. My grandson was asked to leave on a 3 day suspension on day 2 as a second warning because he hugged a couple of girls. We chose not to send him back because you cannot stop a child from hugging which has been a lifetime in 6 years to stop it in 3 days. The really bad thing is they tell you in the paperwork there are NO refunds but I asked for my money back after two days at this summer camp $600 and they said no but they would be happy to give me paperwork to say that I made a donation to their theater. I refused. So now I have no money to find a place for him so had to take off work, daughter and son-in-law and other grandparents had to take off work different times to keep him during the summer. No way would I recommend this place unless you know that your child can keep his/her hands to themselves completely. Worst experience.
