"While many local breweries pride themselves on being large venues, Bishop Cider is a more intimate space. Order some of its signature ciders, like the fan-favorite Apple Pineapple, grab a table with your friends, and bring a card game or board game." - Courtney E. Smith, Alex Gonzalez

"A local favorite is expanding its reach. Bishop Cider announced it has acquired three new properties in Dallas, Arlington, and Fort Worth to open up new “experiences.” Bishop Cider bought Wild Acre brewing, and the first will be at its site in Fort Worth, with more details to come in the fall. A teaser photo of what the company is working on is below. Wild Acre beer will continue to be produced on the site with a brand refresh. Cidercade, their brewery and entertainment complex, will open a new location elsewhere in Fort Worth by the end of the summer. A new Cidercade Dallas is under construction at a new place that will be ten times as large (but remain open in its current spot until then) at a date to be announced. And a massive Arlington location will open before the end of the year." - Courtney E. Smith

This is the best cider creator in Texas. Most other cider makers will concoct a cider that tastes like apple, or watermelon, or some other nice fruit flavor. And some of those are great, but they aren't creative. Bishop creates blends from many different fruits and berries to create delicious mixes such as the crackberry, bananas foster, or my personal favorite the darkcide. Bishop really is the best, and I'm not sure why there isn't always a line out their taproom door.

Where the Cidercade idea all began. No games here, but it's where they make their cider and know it best. Very friendly staff, and like-minded visitors. Little space, little parking lot, big range of flavors.

My hubby and I discovered Bishop Ciders at Scarborough Fair in May, and like the slogan says..."Just one sip...you're hooked" We totally were. Before we left the fair, we had researched the tasting room in the Bishop Arts District and were planning to visit. We planned a little getaway (stay-cation) to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary last weekend, and found a Groupon for the Ultimate Flight. We got to taste all 8 Ciders on tap that day, and enjoyed them all (2 weren't our favorites, but they were still good). The sweet gal tending bar was an absolute doll. She was so kind and attentive to everyone. She really made the place feel special. We had to come back on our way back to Fort Worth the next day to pick up a sample case of ciders because as of right now, we can only get 2 flavors near our house. Our next visit to the Dallas area will include a visit to the Cidercade. That sounds fantastic!

Cool spot in the heart of Bishop Arts. I am not a huge cider guy, but came across a great deal on Groupon so tried this place with a couple buddies. Can’t particularly say I’ll be coming back soon, but I would recommend the place if you like ciders! Really enjoyed the pineapple one.

Good cider and the bartenders were friendly and gave great selection. Perfect place to hang for an hour and try a cider flight, I enjoyed it, the reason this pla e gets 4 instead of 5 is because the cider is good, but there is room for improvement flavor wise. Fun branding on the cider though and super convenient to food and shopping.

We were here Wednesday night and loved it!! Such a cute little place and I didn't get her name who was working that night but she was so fun and knowledgeable!! Definitely would recommend and will be back next time we're in the area!!

At first I was a little surprised that Bishop Cider only had a limited selection to choose from, but was immediately amazed that it's all in-house brew. When tasting, I couldn't decide which one I enjoyed more, so to me it speaks volumes regarding the artistry involved. I settled for Crackberry and Apple Pineapple, as well as bought a six-pack to go. Awesome place!
