Definitely the most flavourful briyani rice I’ve had so far. The sourness of the yoghurt blends well with the rice, making you appreciate the spice even more. Abeit being a tad bit pink, the chicken was tender, moist, and cooked decently. Price point is slightly high, but I can see the vision. Students get a discount, else it may be slightly pricey. Better to eat there, but surprisingly delicious even if even cold.

I had the lamb shank biryani at their main outlet on Friday, and decided to visit this branch the next day to try the chicken dum biryani, as I tasted some difference from my colleague's chicken dum biryani the day before. It seemed like the one at the main outlet was better, but I'm not sure what the difference is. Probably have to revisit at some point to determine. The environment here was clean and not noisy, probably because I came on a Saturday. The biryani I got was the medium sized one. The mango lassi was nice too. They do incentivize people to write reviews, so take what you read with a pinch of salt.

I don't know if I came on a bad day and as a biryani enthusiast I don't post this lightly, but they asked for a review and so I want to say that I'd rank this *very* low among the hundreds of biryanis I've had in my lifetime. The rice has a one-dimensional flavour and the meat (they used 2 drumsticks) is incredibly tough and dry. Lastly, if you're used to biryanis coming with lots of rice, this place will disappoint you (unless you hate wasting rice.) I ate the fried onions, a few spoons full of rice and one drumstick, and I couldn't continue. I hope this place works on its recipe but judging from the many 5-star reviews, they might not care. All I know is that I've had much better biryani at all kinds of other places across this island, and I don't think I'll be back.

i got the chicken biryani with mutton haleem curry. The portion of the curry was a lot and would be perfect for sharing amongst 3-4 people. the biryani was good as well, especially liked the fried onions on top.

Ordered here for my mother's 75th birthday. The chicken dum biriyani was $50 per tray for 4-6pax, online. Delivery was abt $18 so came down here for pickup. Just a short walk from bus stop near AYE. They opened @1130am. I was the 1st customer for the day.😇 Interior looks clean. Some table&chairs at the corner. Not many can dine inside i guess. More sitting options outside. Informed the lady at counter of my order. Added mutton biriyani. Both orders were given in abt 10/15 mins. Ordered a hot coffee ( the only hot drink they have). Was sweet thou. Do bring your own bag for pick ups. I just brought incase and it was a wise choice. They didn't provide plastic bag for the box biriyani. Had to take out the aluminium tray out of the box to put into the ikea bag i brought. Rice was spicy by itself. Caramelised onions adds a hint of sweetness. Chicken was okok and was abit dry. Have boiled eggs. They gave mohru also. But felt it was abit thick for mohru consistency. It has spices added to it as well. Taste was ok. No gravy was given. Maybe gravy would have lowered the rice spiciness. The mutton biriyani didnt have egg in it. Mutton was okok. Had a few pieces of mutton. Overall not bad. Mother liked it.

I had a wonderful experience at Bismillah Biryani (NUS). The biryani was exceptionally flavourful, perfectly cooked, and served fresh. The spices were well-balanced, and the portion size was just right. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the visit truly pleasant. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic and delicious biryani!

This is for the NTU branch. When this branch first opened in ntu, the chicken dum biryani was good! It was flavourful and spicy. Really strong flavours which I like. However, as the time passes, everytime I buy the flavour just becomes more and more blend. The price also increased from about $6 to $8, the chicken increased in size, but the rice has not much flavour at all. No curry given as well. The curry used to be in the rice but now it's so dry and plain. $8 for reheated blend food is not worth. Please go back to the old recipe where it's more flavourful and spicy :(

Ok I’m reviewing for the NTU branch as they do not have the landmark there yet. But I would say food wise, it would taste the same as my curry was literally served in a plastic container like they have prepacked it and they just microwaved and gave it to me. Taste wise, not anything special at all? Just taste a bit richer than the prata curry but not sure if it’s worth the price. They gave free naan but it’s like a piece of bread u get from the bakery. Briyani wise, 90% rice. 5% meat, 2% egg, 3% bones. I don’t know how and why is this store Michelin star. Just go n support your local Muslim-Indian store instead for better and cheaper options.
