"This restaurant is situated in an elegant and verdant residential district north of the historic centre, in an unexpected location well off the beaten tourist track. Here, the modern dining rooms are full of natural light, providing an attractive setting for imaginative meat and fish dishes, as well as a few Italian-influenced options." - Michelin Inspector

Our experience was not so good in total considering the pushy service. We went as a group and were offered welcome drinks by the glass, and later discovered those glasses were charged at 100 euros. It was surprising that they could charge so much for a welcome drink. While selecting our meals, the waiter frequently pressured us to try different dishes, suggesting various combinations and insisting on mixing items. The food was decent, but for a Michelin-star recommendation, it was not outstanding—though it tasted good, it didn't wow us. If it weren't for the negative experience with the pricing, I would have written a more positive review. The experience was so bad because of their attitude and I agree with others who suggest sticking to the menu and not move from it. Additionally, they informed us that they didn't have all the wines listed on the menu and would bring similar options instead. Everything is extra charged. The portions were small, typical of fine dining, but while we women were satisfied, our male friends were not so happy. Typically, fine dining establishments offer carefully designed chef's menus that, despite small portions, leave you feeling content. Inside seating is very limited, but the outside area is lovely. However, at one point, they played "Happy Birthday" very loudly for a next table's celebration, which felt out of place in a fine dining setting. Despite the pleasant outdoor ambiance, due to the pricing issues, I do not recommend this restaurant. I think it's a high chance to be taken advantage by prices especially for tourists

Wonderful experience for me with my warm greetings to the chef Marin Rendic. Cozy atmosphere, surrounded by a Zagreb quiet and nice neighborhood. It’s a gastronomic experience guaranteed. The tasting menu accompanied by selection of wonderful wines, brings rich flavors on a original and delicious journey. Thank you Shelly for your invitation. We all enjoyed and hopefully we will repeat.

Excellent! They passed the test with the highest grade for an overall experience. Fine dining, tasting menu with top noch service! We were welcomed and given a table even though we haven’t made a reservation. And you might know that for this kind of haute cuisine one most certainly needs to book ahead so the chef is prepared... They follow the rules of zero food waste! The wine paring was on the point. You can see, that the main waiter (I forgot his name, unfortunately – my apologies) has gone through great sommelier education. He was an excellent host! Let’s see, if they can get a plant based menu for me on our next visit. That would be another test for them to pass! Haha

Now, this is my absolute favorite restaurant in Zagreb! Thanks everyone from restaurant for the outstanding experience and many thanks Marko for great service. We had a 5 course meal, with a wine pairing. Everything was so tasty and special and good looking and wines were perfect! Considering the quality and service, the price is reasonable.

Very good restaurant specialising in the fine dining experience that is still relatively rare in Croatia. Apetit definitely deserves five stars and is an interesting experience with some great techniques on display. The food is beautiful and artistic in composition. The Kvarner langoustine was wonderfully buttery and sweet, and well balanced with the beetroot-soaked orange and fresh sashimi. Tuna tartar was also great and the cuttlefish was excellent with a highly umami parmesan sauce. Top desert with tobacco-flavoured chocolate-ganache cigar, and some fun theatre with dry ice giving a Mediterranean scented smoke. In terms of negatives, my well-cooked flat fish was matched with some slightly bland lentils. The restaurant is relaxed in atmosphere, which is great, although the service was unusual - early in our meal we could barely go 3 minutes before a waiter would come to top up our water or wine, which is a little intrusive, but subsequently when we wanted to pay we felt slightly invisible. Having said that, the staff were immaculate and very polite. All in all, highly recommend and will certainly return since this is one of the top bracket of restaurants in Zagreb.

Really nice location up in the hills. Restaurant inside was elegant but still cosy. Decoration of plates was little old school for NY tadtw, but quality was really great. 5 courses each was fantastic except for the 5th..a plain cheese plate.. Come on guys.. So 4 stars but still a thumbs up

What an amazing experience. This restaurant is part of the recommended Michelin guide for a reason. I actually don't understand why they don't have at least 1 star yet; we've been to a 3-star Michelin star in the San Francisco Bay Area that was worse... Service was great, every single dish was amazing, wine pairing was perfect. The only small issue was that it's not only expensive (rightly so) but they are also a tad pushy with extras... we said yes to a couple of sparkling wine to stary, only to find out with the check that they were more expensive than the great bottle we shared with the meal...
