Bistro Des Bières Belges

One of my absolutely favorite spots of all time. This is where I had my first "legal" beer when I turned 18. I sampled virtually the entire menu of epic Belgian beers over the years, and had the opportunity to revisit this place on a recent trip to Montreal. Everything is good, the service is great, the atmosphere is awesome, it's a perfect place for good food, good beer, and conversation in good company. I couldn't recommend this place enough. It's a must try.

Overall very good experience at this restaurant. Atmospheres and food were good but on the side note will not recommend the octopus plates (you only gets a few small pieces).

The menu is great nice choices , lots of import bottles beers good selection. We were a group of 10 ppl. Beers were warm, some ppl returned them to the fridge end up not finishing them. Food was promising but lack in tastes, we tested mussels, risotto and ribs, beef tartare, some other but i only list ppl around me. Service was good, nice person, 1 server for our table we always felt she was just for us, never waited. Excellent service. Thanks to our waiter. Ambiance, well, ok, probably because we were a group we were isolated on the second floor but haven't feel included.

We loved our dinner here. It's very hard to decide on one thing so I tried a few small things. Simon was our server and was very helpful with decisions and recommendations. The duck sausages were delicious. The goat cheese bread with sundried tomato pesto blew me away. The simplicity can be deceiving and it was probably one of the best goat cheese I have had yet.

I have been there twice. The drinks are great. I personally am not happy with the meals. My boyfriend likes it. A burger for $29, I would expect it to be special. The ambience is good. The staff are friendly. The poke bowl was 24. It was average to my taste. I read a very good review about it and I decided to try it again. For those of you who appreciate an honest review, I would recommend it for drinks and get together.

Service was top, waitress was on the ball. As for food, very expensive. Wagyu burger was so cooked/burnt that it was hard to know if it was wagyu meat or just general supermarket meat. If it is wagyu, they definitely need to work on the cooking method because its sad to see it charred like that. Lots of beer selections obviously. All in all, good service for a hefty bill. One and done for me!

Came at weekday noon time, surprisingly number of people already there before 12. Service is good, food is fresh and tasty. Except for the mussels, the portion for other dishes is just ok, could be better for that price :) Mussels are very good and it is a must try, the beers are good too!

One of my favourite place. With the decor, you'd think it's a sports-bar type of resto, with an exhaustive list of beers to select from, but the Chef is well detailed and prepares some of the best food vs other higher-end restaurants.

Beau bistro avec une quantité de bières impressionnantes comme le nom l'indique. J'ai dégusté une guedille au homard qui était excellente. Le service est aussi bon. Nice pub where you can tasye lots of Belgium beers. I rasted a lobster roll that was excellent ! Service is excellent as well.

Highest-rated option for moules frites within "easy" walking distance from my hotel. Went with the most popular preparation. Inconsistent even in the same dish. Some were tough and dry while others were very good. Nice location to sit outside during good weather. Service was prompt and friendly but inattentive once meal was served.

been there many time. Firts, An amazing choice of Belgian beer. Very cute place and the food is delicious. I always take the dayly special or the mussel. My favorite beer the St Bernardus 12, I strongly suggest if you are in the area

I love this restaurant. We have been coming here for years. Great food, great beer and a lot of variety and a unique and lovely atmosphere on the south shore.

Second time I come here and it still doesn't disappoint. From the outside the restaurant looks small but they have a private room, a terrace in the summer, a main floor and an upstairs level. They have a large selection of beers with a good selection of muscles. We ordered both the tomato and garlic sausages,the orange and cranberry sausage and the grill octopus as an entree. I'm very picky when it comes to eating octopus and I usually don't like it but this time they grilled it just right and the sauce that accompanied the grill octopus balanced out the saltiness perfectly. They have different flavour for the muscles in which they'll be cooked in,which makes the broth. We took the flavours Dijonnaise and Szechuan,absolutely delicious! The muscles come in 2 sizes 1/2 kg which varies from 15-16$ and 1KG for 25$. You can order different things such as salmon,fish etc but if you happen to pass by I definitely recommend ordering the muscles. Going back again soon!

This is a great little cozy pub where you can enjoy a plethora of tasty European beer. There's really only one thing on the menu you need to try here, because it is so rare and scrumptious, and that is their duck sausages. Wow. Such flavour. They're served with sauerkraut which complements the flavour nicely. Along with a few beers, it is without a doubt one of the tastiest meals you can have in Longueuil. The service is friendly, without being overly involved, which is nice. If you're the south shore and you're looking for a nice local place to try, definitely check it out.

First restaurant after covid, made a good choice coming here 10/10, the beer is insane !

Made a reservation for a large group and we were seated in a private room. We missed out on the gorgeous main area, but the experience was still awesome overall. The service was on point: it wasn't out of this world, but it was still pretty decent. We went there for their selection of beers and we weren't disappointed. My girlfriend and I tasted 4 different beers and they were all good. My other friends tried many other varieties and the waiter even helped some of them figure out what they wanted to drink and was very helpful. The food was amazing! I had Szechuan mussels with fries and it was delicious. I also tasted my girlfriend's beef stew and it reminded me of a Belgian dish I had over there a while ago. Overall, I was very satisfied and I would definitely go back some other time.

Lunch 1/16. It pains me to say but the food quality has suffered. I had bison cheek. It was nearly shoe leather and dry, with little sauce. Must have been leftovers. We have eaten here regularly and enjoyed in the past but $60 for that meal? I hope that food service will be improved. I always enjoy the good service , great beer selection. Hope it was a bad day

On your way in to Montreal, here's the place to stop to get the best moules et frites! Yes there's free parking. Reserve ahead to get a table on the deck. Personally I love the beef tartare. Best Belgian beer selection I've ever seen!

Good service, mad selection of imported beers @120. Menu was limited but the food was good. Nice little terasse but I did not see the interior. We will visit again many times for sure.

Very hit or miss. I have gone there many times, and some times are amazing, while others are a little disappointing. It all depends on who is working I suppose. On one night the muscles are fantastic, and on another I don't even like them (I always get the dijonnaise).
