Very well executed food in a charming old space. The service is very personal, warm and efficient.
Started with great oysters, went on to a beet and goat cheese timbale that was very well balanced and a sautéed squid appetizer with a spicy, tart sauce that was perfect.
We went on to have a moist fleshed, crisp skinned duck confit and a large portion of pan-sautéed skate wing with capers and a touch of balsamic. Huge selection of wines by the glass - about 40 or 50! The proprietor is very good at helping you choose. Small bar with a nice selection of digestifs.
This little restaurant punches well above it's class. Make reservations as they fill up very quickly.
