The place is beautiful and cozy. The owners were extremely nice and patient with our weird french. The food was really good and they were really careful with my allergies. We will come back for sure!! It was an amazing lunch!

Food was fantastic. I saw they gotten Michelin recommendation back in 2019. The food doesn't disappoint. The beef tongue is a must try, it was braised till it's so soft and you can just fork it. It was full house for lunch on Saturday and the restaurant needs to turn away many customers that didn't not make reservation.

This meal was absolutely flawless. We were lucky to get a walk in as we came just after the restaurant opened but many people were turned away after. The atmosphere was brilliant, busy but not too loud allowing it to be a place you can stay and really enjoy your meal. The perfect authentic feel. We had the buffalo Mozerella and tomato as well as the oysters to start. Both were fresh and delicious. For mains we both had the steak in a peppercorn/ mushroom sauce which was absolutely scrumptious. Both the steak and frites were cooked to perfection and the sauce was a perfect balance of rich and creamy. For pudding we had the cherry pavlova which was a wonderful balance of sweet and tart. We found all of the food was excellent and well priced especially for being so fresh. To go alongside our dishes we had the house rose and red which were great and so well priced at around €3.50-4.50. The staff are very friendly and helpful, happy to answer questions about each dish and ensure you have a lovely meal. Would recommend to anyone visiting Vernon and ensure you book! 🍷

You must book. A lovely small family run restaurant serving distinctive French food. Wine was superb. I would highly recommend it. Very reasonably priced.

Very well executed food in a charming old space. The service is very personal, warm and efficient. Started with great oysters, went on to a beet and goat cheese timbale that was very well balanced and a sautéed squid appetizer with a spicy, tart sauce that was perfect. We went on to have a moist fleshed, crisp skinned duck confit and a large portion of pan-sautéed skate wing with capers and a touch of balsamic. Huge selection of wines by the glass - about 40 or 50! The proprietor is very good at helping you choose. Small bar with a nice selection of digestifs. This little restaurant punches well above it's class. Make reservations as they fill up very quickly.

Great service, music and amazing food. Although the menu was in French, the waiter was patiently explaining to us the options. We had the pork ribs and fish, dessert was equally good (creme brûlée). 25euros for 1 salad, mains and dessert 👌🏼

We were fortunate to walk in early and get a table. Many tables were reserved and we saw others walk in and get turned away for a lack of availability. The food was good and atmosphere friendly.
