Huge disapointment or perhaps our waiter was a trainee. Had some issues with the dishes and service which are not going to be detailed here since the restaurant compensated those to us in the bill. The waiter at no point admitted nor apologised to any of the stuff. The tune dish was served fridge cold whoch was suprising and probably not intentional. The plates did not compliment the food. Huge variation between different dishes, some good, some not. Now place to change shoes or actually dress coat other than a tiny tiny space where people also go to washrooms. Took more than an hour to receive the first starter and we were forgotton to bring our ordered bread so it was a long wait. Can't recommend the cocktail, which tasted mostly of water. So all in all, had high expectations and will never return.

We reserved a table for 8 people for a birthday dinner. Many of us chose the chef’s menu, which included 4 courses. The chef himself brought out the dishes and explained what was on each plate - such a nice touch. Our waitress was super helpful and friendly, even though our group was quite chatty and loud. They even surprised the birthday person with a dessert topped with a candle, which made the night extra special. Overall, the experience was really warm, and the food was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were top quality and incredibly fresh

We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant! Ardit was incredibly professional and attentive throughout our dinner. His recommendations were spot-on, and every dish was delicious. Excellent service and a warm atmosphere – highly recommended!

Nice restaurant in the center of Helsinki with French-Asian-Fusion kitchen. The restaurant itself is quite cute, the service was incredible and also the food tasted really good. I had the lamb leg with a glass of fantastic Chardonnay and a pistachio cake with raspberry sorbet. Definitely can recommend this place but please be prepared that it's a bit pricey, but still worth it.

The restaurant has been on our list for some time now and expectations were high. We arrived a little before 6pm and were greeted kindly. The place was half full. The service started briskly and we ordered appetizers, main courses and drinks at the same time. We received our appetizers and starters quickly. The crudo was delicious, the tempura was even too crispy and there was too little batter. Unfortunately, we had to wait for the main courses for over an hour, in between the waiter even asked if we would like to order some drinks, apparently they had forgotten our order for some reason. The main courses, teriaki glaced sweetbread and pike, were delicious. The place had a lot of potential, but the service was very haphazard and the waiting time for the food was far too long. Unfortunately, bistro ego did not meet expectations.

This is a gourmet restaurant, a good place to spend time with friends or family. It doesn’t suit people who prefer traditional dishes Best green salad in Helsinki Unexpected price for bread. Leipäkori 20€

Well, you expect superb service and food when you dine at a 2 fork restaurant....it was amazing at all levels, amazing service, amazing place, amazing food and amazingly expensive 😂. Nevertheless, it worth every single penny.

Oh dear where to start. It was a disappointment to say the least. I was super excited about coming here because of all the great reviews and that it was a Michelin star restaurant but neither the service nor the food was amazing. The server was quite inexperienced. I asked for recommendations and she told me she’d never tried anything from the restaurant. She also had a hard time explaining what any of the dishes were. In fact she had to run back into the kitchen to ask the chef how big the portions were. She was sweet and tried her best but the staff definitely need to be trained on what they’re serving at the restaurant. The food was also a disappointment. The pumpkin was quite nice. The fish tasted completed of gasoline. I understand it’s supposed to be grilled but I left with an aftertaste of gas. I would not come back.
