Portland’s Hottest Bar Food Trend: Upgraded Cup Noodles and Ramen Hacks | Eater Portland
"At Bistro Elysium in Northeast Portland I tried their take on pad kee mao called “Drunk Street Noodles,” which uses Thai instant noodles as the base." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden
Overall the food was pretty good. The drunken noodles were the best thing there. The noodles were . The katsu curry could have had more curry, but it was still good. The Thai coffee was the worst I've ever had. It was way, WAY too sweet. Service was pretty quick, but we had to clean and bus our own table.

Came here on back to back days because the food was so good! Very Thai-inspired but also a nice fusion of other Asian flavors and cuisines. The owner Kevin is extremely nice and cares greatly about customer satisfaction and enjoyment. Loved the food, service, and ambiance, and has become a go-to stop during my work trips to Portland!

I was really excited to try this place, but unfortunately I was pretty let down. The pork belly bowl was nothing like the photo— meat was sparse and very tough. Additionally, I do not recommend the red nostalgia nectar unless you're nostalgic for the taste of cough syrup 🙁

Hello, The Trekking Pawns here! We were looking for a good to-go place and found this gem! The person that took our order was very friendly and positive. The place was clean and comforting to sit in. The prices were reasonable and our order was quickly taken. The to-go packaging was very nice and hip looking. The owners did a great job with presentation of their establishment. When we got back to our room, the food still smelled amazing and we were very pleased with the food. The taste was great and the spice level was perfect. We got the chicken spicy basil fried rice and chicken drunken noodles. We did the second from highest spice level and it was great. I had a little left over noodles for the next day and it still tastes great! It is also located right off a train stop so it is an easy grab and go as well. Good find! @thetrekkingpawns

Very friendly staff and the food was delicious. The mango curry with chicken was so creamy and had a lot of fresh flavors. I’d love to try something else on the menu and plan to as soon as I’m back in town. Quite a gem of a place. Highly recommend.

No complaints, drunken noodles were good. Not sure why it has tomatoes in it, never had it that way.

The food is amazing here. It's my favorite place to eat whenever I'm in Portland. Went for dinner tonight, and the heat was stifling. I had to hurry through my meal and leave. Other than that, they're absolutely perfect. Food is always fresh and delicious.
