Bistro Fotić

We visited this charming spot for a mid-afternoon meal and were immediately struck by its inviting atmosphere. The décor strikes a perfect balance between stylish and cosy, with thoughtful touches that make the space feel both modern and welcoming. Comfortable seating and generously spaced tables created a relaxed environment, ideal for conversation without feeling crowded. While the menu isn’t extensive, it’s clearly been curated with care. Each dish sounded appealing, and there were thoughtful vegetarian options that didn’t feel like an afterthought. We appreciated the focus on quality over quantity, and it certainly paid off. Service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. Our server was friendly, efficient, and had our food and drinks out in good time. The portions were generous and satisfying—enough to feel you’ve had a proper meal without being overwhelming. All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

I ate there on my one and only evening in Zagreb. The waiter was really nice, trying to make me feel at ease. I took the business menu which was zucchini soup, grilled meat and vegetables, and apple strudel. The food was cheap (only 15€!) and really good.

Excellent fresh Croatian food with sterling service and generous portions. Our waiter was friendly and very helpful with his recommendations. We went twice in a row and we were extremely satisfied both times. If you are in Zagreb, I highly recommend this charming place.

Great food, great house wine, and the greatest hospitality…. A must visit food for the best experience. We were three friends and visited it twice in a day because we just loved this place and people. The pasta with veggies and chicken was my favourite❤️

Found this restaurant because of a recommendation of our AirBnB host and we were not disappointed! The service was great: the waiters were very funny and hospitable and really seemed to enjoy their job. This alone was already worth a lot, but the food itself was truly outstanding. I would even say it was the best food we ate in Croatia thus far. A big, fat recommendation for anyone visiting Zagreb to go eat at this restaurant, we had a lovely time and it was worth every penny. Also a big thanks to the kitchen staff for accompanying me as a celiac, ensuring the food was gluten free and save for me to eat.

We stopped here for an Amazing Lunch. The food was exceptional. Nikola our server made a fantastic suggestion of wine to go along with our meal. This was one of the best meals we had during our holiday in Croatia.
