Bistro Grad

I ordered 2 warm appetizers-the lemon fettuccine & artichoke. Both were flavorful, unique, & very filling-by far the best meal I’ve had since coming to Rijeka.

Great experience. Meals are prepared with so much passion and enthusiasm. Service is also very professional. All in all, full recommendations.

Loved this place. Tried one of the best risottos here! The staff was very kind, and even though Rijeka is built in a way that forbids you from having a great view while eating in a restaurant - here, the atmosphere was lovely!

I usually came to this cafe for a glass of whiskey because they have a very good selection of quality whiskeys, but the real surprise was to discover that they also have a restaurant with very good food. We came for lunch and ended up staying at the table for 3 hours because we had a good atmosphere. We decided, on the recommendation of the waitress, to go with the ready-made menu. Currently there are two, meat and fish. As we always do, we all tried everything and one menu is better than the other. Selections of dishes came and honestly, and I did not expect, the portions are filling. Full of flavor and imaginatively served. For me personally, it is very important that the waiter is not boring, and I was delighted by the professionalism of "our" waitress (I didn't ask her name, but she has a piercing), she is friendly with a lot of knowledge and, most importantly, unobtrusive and present. Everything she advised us was a hit.

SOOO much more than just a bistro! With the new amazing chef Mario Štokić, Grad has quickly become one of the best places to eat in Rijeka. Go for the tasting menu - you won’t regret it. The food is beautifully presented and is absolutely delicious. Their wine selection is great, AND they have excellent cocktails - what more can one wish for?... Beautiful place, fantastic food, excellent service and a very relaxing atmosphere.

8.5/10 Food: Offers a small amount of main courses which are tasty but small in portion size. A brand new menu was just created and given to us, and the meals were great. The desert choices are awesome though. Drinks: Cocktails, other than that it's the pretty usual stuff Service: Service was super cool. Waiters were super friendly, funny and knowledgeable. Ambience: Ambience is cool. Very modern design, upper floor has couches which are comfy. The outside terrace is small but still nice since there is not much traffic next to it even though it is next to a road. Price: Expensive, high price, but this is standard for Croatia’s coast Bad things: Price, food menu could be better offering more meals, and meals could be larger Recommended

Super nice place near the port of Rjieka. Stopped there to have lunch on a cruise ship visit and absolutely loved it. The place is beautiful and really nice to just sit, enjoy good food and relax. You can eat, have cocktails, enjoy cakes and pastries in a relaxed environment with very friendly service. Great place also for working or studying.

Great place, food was amazing I think I never had this good food ,service was exceptional highly recommended.
