Absolutely the best bistro in all of Paris! We were welcomed even though we spoke English, the food was fresh, delicious and very prompt. We ended up having multiple meals here, each one was outstanding!

Wonderful welcome to Paris on our first evening here! Very kind and polite server who spoke English and picked the perfect wine when I asked for something sweet. Menu was in English and French. Great selection. Best French Onion soup I’ve ever tasted! The goat cheese toast and honey salad was amazing. And the lentil and egg salad was also unique and tasty. And one of my favorite parts was meeting Lou, their beautiful and soft resident cat! Merci!

Such an amazing place! I loved it. I was treated really well, as was my family. The owner is very kind, as is everyone who works at Mauzac. I’m Brazilian and only know a few words in French, so they kindly spoke with me in English and made me feel at home. The food was amazing! Special thanks to Arthur and Ramon, the Italian chef. He even prepared a special dish to make my family feel at home, just like in Brazil — that was priceless, and I’m truly grateful. Merci!! Super!!

What a great little place on a shady side street sidewalk. Passed it previously then checked out the menu & reviews & came back. We both had the Salad Mausac Perfect, highly recommend. It was presented with two pieces of open faced ham, cheese and grilled onion toasted breads atop. Service was excellent English was not a problem. Highly recommend.

We came for breakfast and to meet Toby and Lou. Lou keeps a low profile, but made an appearance. Toby came and said "Bon jour!" Omelette was tasty, served in a piping hot skillet. Egg sandwich was also quite good.

This lovely French bistro next to our Hotel Relais St. Jacques was a real gem. Madame proprietor was so sweet & friendly to excuse our bad French and accommodate us late in the evening. Definitely our best meal while in Paris. We should have eaten there every night. The prices inexpensive compared to other bistros we tried that eere price & not good. Their French onion soup divine. French fries crispy & light. Charcuterie & frommage crepe yummy. Warstiner beer tasty. The green salad delicious & fresh. Plus, a friendly feline Lou charmed us. Tres magnifique. I highly recommend Bistro Mauzac.

Very good food, very relaxed atmosphere for spending an hour or two conversing, drinking eating. Casual service but great to have a lazy black cat and friendly fuzzy dog on the staff.
