Overall a tasty French restaurant in Atlanta!
For appetizers, we ordered the escargot and crab cake. I love how garlicky the escargot was. The crab cake was also very good, well seasoned and not too salty.
For mains we ordered the salmon, paillard of chicken breast, trout, and the steak sandwich. The trout was cooked well as was the salmon. The steak sandwich was tasty, but I wasn't completely blown away. These were all solid dishes, but I think I enjoyed the appetizers more.
For dessert we ordered the rhum cake and flourless chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was good- it is you're classic flourless chocolate cake, which I thoroughly enjoy but not unique. The rhum cake was interesting, not what I expected. It was good, and I still enjoyed it, but the cake was a little on the dry side. The syrup it sits in helps remedy this, though this citrus flavor in the sauce is rather overpowering.
Service was good, no negative comments in this area. We came for lunch on a weekday, and there were many business meetings happening around us, but it wasn't too loud which was nice. Their Christmas decorations were still up, which doesn't bother me. I feel like it adds character and goes with the overall vibe of the restaurant, but it is something to note if you are someone who is adamant about only having Christmas decor up in December.
