BISTRO Quellenhof

What an amazing culinary experience! We ate here on the day we arrived at Aachen, as we were too tired to go to the city centre after our roadtrip, and we were glad we did! The service is top notch without being too distant or cold, and the food was just delicious. Not that ridiculous cuisine you see sometimes where you don’t know what you’re eating with all that foam and strange ingredient mixes; here, the dishes are not at all plain, but they taste was they should and they are so, so delicious! We loved it! We ate the cod fish and the salmon, and everything was just perfect. And the desserts are also to die for (apple crumble and crème brûlée)! Highly recommended!

We stayed at the hotel. Large room was overlooking the park. Quiet location. Close enough walking to old town, cathedral, museums, and City Hall. Breakfast is fantastic! Dinner on the patio - food was phenomenal… bee interference was a bit of a nuisance.

We had a lovely dinner here! The food was delicious and not overly pretentious. The staff was amazing! Pablo, the manager, made us feel very welcome and made a real effort to make the evening memorable. If you are in the mood for delicious food served by wonderful people, I can only recommend this restaurant!

My wife and I booked a table to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had a great dinner and the restaurant manager Pablo together with the other kind staff made sure we had great and very pleasurable stay. The menus were nicely selectedcomposed and the wine choices very tasty.

Disappointing: It took 40 mins to be served a glass of water, challenged service but left shortly after with empty stomachs. Evidently depleted wine cellar (top 3 choices not available), dirty cushions, seemingly not an isolated issue. No proper reason given other than recent change in management.
