"The most egregious example, I think, takes place at the bistro where, unbeknownst to Emily, her potential new boyfriend Gabriel works as head chef. In a trope as well done as a Shake Shack patty, she sends her steak back, complaining it is undercooked." - Joshua David Stein

I love this place and owner. It’s not my first time. Everything was amazing, the service was kind (by the amazing owner), all dishes were so tasty, atmosphere was perfect, cosy, warm and pleasant. Can’t wait for my next visit in Bostro V!!!

Edit to answer response: Very rude response from a business owner that pretty much sums up the attitude of this establishment, if a customer is not happy I believe you should do everything you can to remedy the situation instead of just saying “désolé”. The table next to me also complained about the dry lamb so I know for a fact I wasn’t the only one and I have since spoken to people that have also been to the restaurant in the past and had been fooled by these reviews and pictures. Truly the worst dining experience of my life. Don’t be deceived but the pictures and other reviews… this place will leave you disappointed. Even with the fork discount we felt truly scammed. The place is completely let go, as we walked in we weren’t given a table, sat ourselves down and the chair was broken. The waiter was kind but not trained and not suitable for this kind of restaurant. The place was so dirty and messy I can only imagine the kitchen. There is no atmosphere, it’s in-between two busy bars and isn’t in a nice place in Paris. Then the food…served on dirty plates and mismatching cutlery: dry lamb, cold and tasteless. For the wine the only option was one glass for €15 or bundles of wine for €60. The worst part is that this place is trying to be fancy and has a high price point… it’s truly scamming people as the service, food and atmosphere are not up to it.

6 course meal, you'll probably have to plan 1-2 hours here since it can take some time in between dishes. Budget around €80 per person (more if you get wine). I REALLY liked everything we got up to the dessert! The appetizers were so unique and refreshing, the entree of octopus and lamb were so tasty and the sauces accompanying were super fun! My only gripe is the desserts (which were very focused on being lightweight) were not really up my personal ally. But for the price (relative to other multi-course "fancy" meals), it's a very nice experience!

It was a cosy friendly atmosphere restaurant. Since the moment we arrived we received very warm welcome from the workers there and spend one lovely evening. We had very clear and detailed explanations about every course we ate. Meanwhile they have various choice for wine selection. It’s a restaurant which makes seasonal menu course with a reasonable price. From appetizers to dessert, the taste of the food was progressive , i enjoyed a lot . The beef which cooked for 14 hours was absolute delicious, so did the fresh fish on the main course. The combination of blue cheese and dark chocolate was eye-catching , and they tasted surprisingly good. I’ll definitely be back again here someday.

Fixed menu with close to 6 courses. Food was delicious and flavourful with small portion sizes. Cozy environment with friendly staff. They very very adaptive and offered alternatives to my vegetarian diet.

An amazing place for fine dining!!!! We had a great time with its wonderful 6 menus. The menu is fresh, creative and we’ll designed!!! The staff is friendly and patient and super passionate for their food. The tableware selection is also gorgeous!! Highly recommended!! (One star less for flavor because some dishes are a bit salty for me, but for my friend is just perfect. I think it’s just about personal taste difference)

If I could give this restaurant 1000 stars, I would! If you’re in Paris, you cannot miss it. The place is very cozy, well maintained and the service is excellent. Now, the food, it is heaven on earth. I was looking online for an authentic French restaurant and Bistro V was featured in an article of Michelin star restaurants, Bistro V being the only one without one and it exceeded my expectations. We got a menu paired with wine for every course and it was the best decision ever, it’s an experience you cannot miss. The owner was there and she was extremely friendly and helpful, she guided us through the menu and wines. While waiting for the menu, we got an entree that was definitely one of the most delicious this I’ve ever tried. I am definitely not a dessert person, but this one just made me want more. I know every time I come to Paris, I will definitely pay them a visit. Also, they have a rosemary infused rum that was spectacular, one of a kind! Thank you Bistro V, you made my stay in Paris 100% better! The world need more restaurants like this.

The set menu at this spot is really tasty and fresh. The staff are super friendly and can explain the dishes in English. The vibe is cozy, and the evening view is nice. Overall, it’s a cool place to grab a bite.
