"This former café’s wooden bar counter, floral wallpaper, wainscoting and old wood-burning stove set the quintessentially Parisian bistro scene of this characterful town house, providing the perfect foil to a soul-warming culinary score that stars outstanding ingredients. The chef enjoys crafting gutsy, big-boned recipes, exemplified by a melt-in-the-mouth house terrine of foie gras with onion preserve or a Rossini steak with a punchy port wine sauce, all of which define the chef’s consummate culinary technique. The Pottenbrug sings a splendid ode to fine produce." - Michelin Inspector

An unplanned encounter during my trip, it was amazing, one of the best meals I’ve had in this euro trip among many starred restaurants. Would go back Antwerp just to dine here again with my wife next time.

I remember my parents coming to eat here when I was a kid, so while in Belgium, a "must visit" in Antwerp after 40 years still. I was told there were new owners who are doing great and I concur fully. Welcoming, driven, knowledgeable and down to earth yet a high quality 14.5 Gault Millaut experience. Food and wine pairing : spot on ! Pan seared Foie gras and sweat breads highly recommended. But also the filet pur "poivre concassé" was a wonderful dish. Well done Pottenbrug kitchen and front of house team ! We walked in on a Monday around noon (without reservation, so lucky) and we will surely return.

Best dinner we had in Europe! Excellent service and an incredible meal. The truffle steak tartare was unique and a true delight. We both ordered the specials, ribeye and sea bass and were both ecstatic with our choices. We will definitely be back again.

Classic dishes with high-quality ingredients in basic presentation style. Milk-fed lamb from the Pyrenees was great, although vegetables and gravy were a bit bland. The bottle of rioja wine had a corky smell and taste, but the waiter was quick to get a new bottle. Quite expensive given the setting and presentation.
