We liked the interiors and the terrace too. Great ambiance. Great service. The egg/asparagus starter was OK but not great. The fish plat was excellent! Desserts were good , not exceptional (everyone liked the citron the best). We have been before and we will be back, merci

We’ve been here three times now and every time the food, service and ambience have been excellent. The dishes combine traditional elements with imaginative twists and the execution is always superb. Even the simpler dishes - I had rib steak this time - are great. A lovely location in St Romain too. We are regular visitors to the region and I would say this is one of the best restaurants in the Cote de Beaune!

We bumped into the restaurant by chance, such a great discover! Modern stylish and tasteful decor, very cozy atmosphere. The food was very creative and super nicely executed, absolutely great value for money. The friendly service added even more to the positive experience!!

We came here for lunch. Friendly service, great advice for the wine selection. Limited selection of food, very fresh and high quality dishes. We enjoyed eating here a lot, possibly the best food of the trip. Would recommend anyone to make a reservation here

Great taste of Lyonnaise food. The starters were fantastic - loved the lentils, carrots & smoked fish and cauliflower dishes. We got the quenelle and black sausage which were extremely filling. The chocolate mousse and strawberry sorbet were great desserts to end with. Reservation necessary as the restaurant is small and full the day we visited. Come with an empty stomach!

A genuine treat of delicious fresh food imaginatively prepared and served with enthusiasm and care in a traditional setting. Mainly local patrons, this was the best of rural French food and a welcome change from the more tourist meals offered in Beaune. Great wine list too.

This meal was the best that we'd had in Burgundy. Fantastic smart cooking with local ingredients. Good value and a great house Saint Romain white wine.

The food here is magical, every bite! We are vacationing in Burgundy, and the owner of our Airbnb referred us to Bistrot des Falaises. We came here after a few days in Paris, so to say we’ve been eating well this past week, would be an understatement. Bistrot des Falaises is hands down the best dining experience we’ve had in France on this trip. It’s a seasonal menu, but I ordered a zucchini pasta as a starter, the trout as an entree, and a cherry clafoutis for dessert. The entire service team is friendly and helpful, but we mostly communicated with Jordan, and the atmosphere is airy and comfortable. We did reach out in advance to reserve as it’s their busy season. My only regret is they are so far from New Jersey, because I would love to bring all my friends and family here.
